Full offense, I think the remaining members of BigBang have every right to distance themselves from Seungri; regardless of whatever bond they might have had with him before. It's ludicrous to expect BigBang to defend or welcome Seungri in any capacity and to be disrespectful and behave resentfully towards any of the remaining four is plain childish behaviour. I refuse to make any solid claims about how BigBang feels and thinks, as I do not know them, but I stand by their choice to move on without Seungri. The damage has been done.

BIGBANG members Taeyang, Daesung leave YG Entertainment and sign with new label

Two members of BIGBANG have left the group’s long-time agency, YG Entertainment. The label said on Monday (Dec 26) that Daesung is leaving, soon after it was announced on the same day that group mate Taeyang had signed with a new label. 

YG Entertainment stressed that both Taeyang and Daesung are still part of BIGBANG. It also said that it was in negotiations with G-Dragon, the last member of the K-pop group still signed with the agency. 

The statement released on Monday by YG Entertainment: “Daesung has decided to end his contract with us. He’s looking for a fresh start. The fact that Daesung is a BIGBANG member has not changed. We support Daesung’s choice and new start, and we are always open to cooperating with him.”

On Taeyang, it said: “We are sincerely pleased to deliver the news that Taeyang is making a fresh start.”

Earlier this year, fellow BIGBANG member T.O.P. left the agency to “broaden the scope of his individual activities”, while remaining with the group.

BIGBANG, initially a five-member group, now consists of T.O.P, Taeyang, G-Dragon and Daesung after the departure of Seungri in March 2019.  BIGBANG released Still life, their first new music in four years, in April this year.

if you don’t tell me anything I will just put them with this “mark” || If you tell me you want them I will normally put them || if you tell me you don’t want them I will exclude them || if you tell me after the post you didn’t wanted them within one week I will redo the most to least without them for more accuracy || if you tell me one week or more after I will just delete the member from the most to least ||

How to do this? Ex: You want G-Idle but you stanned them only after Soojin departure? G-Idle ot5 in the other way you want Soojin in ? G-Idle ot6

Of course I got limits and this count only for members that:

Didn’t left for legal issues: Hwall The Boyz, Baron VAV, Rocky Astro, Jinni Nmixx..ect

If yes were found innocents: Wonho Monsta X, Woojin Stray Kids..ect

Or got kicked for dumb reasons. (Ex: Dating,Smoking,surgery revealed..ect) Hyuna 4Minute, E’Dawn Pentagon,

I accept member like Soojin G-Idle, Lucas NCT, Ravn Oneus or BI Ikon even if they did questionable things they were never proven to be totally true or totally false so it’s up to your own morality if you want me to include them or not and if you believe what they were accused off is forgivable or not

I DO NOT accept members that:

Were proven culprit of a crime and I hope I don’t need to make example but since some of you can be really delusional don’t even ask for Bigbang Seungri or BAP Himchan cause I’ll block you and judge you really bad. *side eye*

Deceased members by any type of death don’t ask, it’s sick, I’ll block you pt2.

Preferably I’ll not do groups that disbanded too fast after debuting like X1 or members that left too close to the debut like Garam Lesserafim and this has nothing to do with her innocence or not since everybody thinks differently I just think nobody had time to get to know them and I don’t really wanna put time in it neither as a group or member of that group but rather as a soloist if they debuted like that then (Jinni Nmixx even tho she was my bias can be put in that category too as well as Hyuna in any group she was in since she’s now more known as a soloist, I still accept her tho)

Finally don’t ask me for Red Velvet without Yeri, EXO without Chen or Ikon without Bobby cause even if it’s your right you’ll not be welcome on my blog and I risk to proceed really slowly to your request

Hello, sorry for taking your time, please answer when you want to!! I just want to share my feelings...

Im new to the Bigbang fandom, i discovered them in February 2023... At first i liked TOP (of course) but when i started to discover their personalities, i suddenly was charmed by Seungri. Before getting into the fandom, first thing i did is reading basic info about the group, so before knowing Seungri better, i knew that he had huge scandal in 2019. It didnt stop me digging deeper about Bigbang. I watched variety shows and interviews they did and their performances and i just fell in love with Seungri. Hes so funny, charismatic and charming guy. And hes voice is incredible. When i heard his part in songs and him talking for the first time, i thought "wow he has such a beautiful voice". I liked his voice much more than TOPs (i thought TOPs voice is weird and wasnt sure i like it or not), but i stopped myself liking Seungri from the start because of all the mess that happened in 2019. But. My feelings. Their uncontrollable.

I fell in love with Seungri and i feel sad because I cant talk with anybody about it. Im afraid i would get critisized liking him, so I avoid any Bigbang fans. But I cant help loving him. I wish i dicovered Bigbang so much so much earlier

I'm so sorry you feel that you have to avoid BigBang fans, but unfortunately know all too well where you're coming from; I honestly enjoy liking them more when I'm removed from the fanbase, it's more freeing not to see everyone's doody opinions on every. single. thing! Not to mention no one can take a joke!

But regarding Seungri, I feel you about being hesitant to like him. I'm a newer fan as well and before I read up on the 2019 debacle felt like I had to dislike him just from a moral standpoint. Didn't take long to discover how much of a farce his role in the "burning sun scandal" was (it's a mislabel to even title it that...); personally the more I learned about BigBang I was just like... this guy? Seungri? Really? The guy who can't even hide his own phone and dms on I Live Alone? It didn't line up, maybe because it didn't line up. It's really too bad some fans put their own biases and agenda above basic morality and a man's innocence, deciding instead to support the smear campaign and bury the real issues like the corruption and lack of women's rights in South Korea under the rug. But such are the sheep. (Sorry for going off on it, I just... I will forever get passionate about that whole thing/similar issues.)

Anyway, you should know that there are a lot of Seungri fans, they just mostly hang out on twitter; unfortunately here on tumblr a bit of an ot4(3?) cult has formed who likes to harass and bully off any ot5s as soon as they appear. There are a few of us here, too, though! ( @topsodapop makes a lot of gifs, and has been gifing the recent Seungri content as well.) But I'd head to twitter if what you're looking for is a large community to love on Seungri/talk about Seungri on the daily with, it's just too dead here at the moment, for any BigBang content, really. Makes me that much more appreciative you took the time to send this message aha🥰🥰🥰! Always makes me happy seeing the Seungri fans, you have excellent taste and should be proud💙❤️‍🔥.

When I see those reactions for G-Dragon, the change in people's comments right now makes me a little sad. G dragon was the most desired and admired idol in his era. Everyone respected and admired him. He was quite successful, bold and talented. It's not as strong as it used to be, but he still has an impact. And now, when bts became the most famous and v became the most popular of the group, people started insulting gd in a very ugly way after the tae-jennie rumors. No matter what anyone says, GD is a respected person. If the current idols are running now, they owe it to the fact that 2ne1 and bigbang walked first. Also, considering how much difficulty gd has been exposed to, his reckless attitude today is not interesting either. Who deserves what or who doesn't deserve someone is not to someone's opinion. Let's just respect.

We can't deny that big bang and Gd have made an impact on the kpop industry, but i think the majority of the respect he lost is because he supports ot5, and with that people interpret that he still supports seungri. I think that is the issue here, the support he has shown to someone that fuck really bad
