it's pretty long so i'm not sure that interests someone but it was good to know that the majority of the case was about making sure that Bignot did say that, and not whether or not it was homophobic

Thanks for the link. I read through the first four pages, and yeah glad it was clearly established that the comments were homophobic.

alright, i’m back from a mission. i can’t believe nobody’s told this story while I was gone. this thing’s a bloody classic.

so when the doctor and gundham first met, they kept fighting over magic being better or science being better and blah blah blah. it was kinda like when flug and licorice met, but at least liccy had actual magic to back himself up. once he showed off those lil bone wankers, flug started taking him a bit more seriously. but gundham bragged about his magic and never proved he could do it. he’d bignote himself by talking about his “army” or his “all seeing eye”, but flug never bought it.

so not only was gundham being dismissed, but his rival at the time, licorice, ended up proving himself more than he did. so he tried figuring out how to prove his magic and found this weird lil’ book of spells on lib’s table. he dragged flug over and made him watch as he performed one of the spells in it. flug kept yelling at him to not do it, but he was sure that it’d be no match for the “overlord of ice” or whatever he calls himself.

turns out, that book was specifically from flug’s dimension, and the spell gundham was doing was to summon his boss. i think his name’s black hat. he’s a demon of something, don’t know what. anyway, he was pissed about being interrupted and scolded both of them. the house was shaking, all the clouds outside turned black, the room caught on fire, and i think one of them almost got possessed. gundham didn’t even expect the damn thing to work, but when it did he started trying to act all cocky. this apparently offended black hat at first, but somehow he learned that gundham helped cause an apocalypse in his own dimension. the bloke suddenly became more impressive to him than his own employee. gundham almost got hired to work at whatever company flug works at, but apparently he denied. boss realized how much of a softy he was and left.

obviously this did nothing to make them close. they only got friendly once they met each others’ pets.

I feel genuinely bad for Birmingham players, they were better this season than their results indicate. And the red card in the crucial game against Leicester that was later overturned on appeal after they lost the game was probably the worst refereeing call this season (and I’m not a Birmingham supporter at all). And that one decision might be the one that relegates them. But I do want them to go down because the club has underinvested in and mistreated the women for too long and they haven’t shown serious signs of stopping that. To this day they still employ the abusive and homophobic Marcus Bignot.

Completely agree, I still think they deserved to win that first City game!! Or at least draw, and they've been quite good most other times I've watched them.

I think the problem there is also a lot on the behind-the-scenes stuff and sadly I'm not convinced the club is doing enough for the team which is why I'd slightly prefer Leicester staying up. Of course gotta feel for the players themselves but long-term they need more support from the club and I hope going down will wake them up (and not make them think they're off the hook from providing basic things)

If you're going to bignote yourself as the be all and end all off of a certain brand of vinyl doll and rave about your skills of making things and customizing, and do a collab with three other well known customizers, and announce said collab in a weekly vid, and all over social media, then why hasn't the video of the collab doll been posted? Or even a photo? Or even showing said doll in one of the weekly videos? It's been over three months since the other collaborators posted the vids of their finished dolls - on the deadline date. But everyone else is blinded from the reflection of the brown on your noses, from wearing the creator as a hat.

Potential abuse in the WSL that I don't know if you're aware of: Marcus Bignot slept with and then "dated" at least one of his players at Birmingham the last time he worked there. The player was barely over 18 when the "relationship" started and he is about 20 years older than her. Birmingham just hired Bignot for a new position at Birmingham as part of what I think looks like an effort to destroy the women's team based on who they hired as the new head coach and the (lack of) funding.

Hope Bignot never gets near another football team. This was disgusting but it’s far from his first asshole move. He dated one of the players he was coaching who was about 2 decades younger than him, I’m not sure how he was allowed to keep coaching after that alone.

Definitely not his first time doing something like you mentioned. Unfortunately if I had to guess there's even more he's done that we've never heard about too. From what I've heard he's pretty bad as a coach as well.

Emma and Vicky were very cute. I wonder if they remember each other from 2012? They both played in the Arsenal-Barcelona matches. Emma said in the commentary that (paraphrasing) it was girls vs women so she has some memory of it. Also I wonder if Vicky ever teases Emma about the goal Vicky scored on her during the Euro qualifications in 2015. They were playing for Arsenal together then but I'm not sure if they were a couple yet as I'm not sure when Bignot (eww) and Emma imploded.

ooh i hadn't even thought that their origin origin story was the 2012 CL, very cool how far they've come though from rivals to teammates to being in a long term relationship :))

Mana and Davies in the same day? That poor team, though I will say she deserved better. 

I’d say hey Arsenal, but that’s a massive jump and Davies is great but she needs more experience in my opinion.

Sad to see Villa with no coaches now, I can see a lot of players leaving after this season, if it’s Bignot related I really don’t blame her at all.
