Can you even call it a family outing if you don't embarrass your nephew as much as possible by not only stopping to take 500 pictures but also dressing like a weeb? 🤔
I've been slacking on my bike riding this summer and picked one of the hottest damn days to hit the trail with my nephew. 🥵 It was his first time coming with me and his first bike trail overall so he had to borrow my bfs slightly too large bike. I have a new found respect for me Father-watching kids bike is nerve wracking LOOOL. I was like "Watch out for the people ahead, you almost swerved into them. Be careful of the traffic coming up. You're going off road. Someone is coming up behind us. Please watch the road. You almost mowed down an elderly person." 😅
BUT we both had a lot of fun and we kept going for a lot longer than I thought he would want to (I let him choose when to turn around, and asked him a few times it he wanted to turn back because of how hot it was, but each time he told me he didn't want to go back yet which made me emotional I'm happy he was having fun too 🥹). At the end of the day we logged about 13 miles, which isn't bad at all for the first big bike trip of the summer💖
... I did sing the Love Hime song a few times too, as expected given the circumstances. 🚴🚴‍♀️😎

Northwestern Poland: Moryń, Morzycko lake, Odra river and European Bridge Siekierki, on a beautiful bike route connecting Poland with Germany.
On this route we also visited a wonderful bike stop at the closed Klępicz railway station, created with heart by the local family. You can sit there, make a cup of coffee and eat some delicious cake, throwing the chosen amount of money into the metal can.

Before You Ride: Essential Tips for Preparing Your Bike for Ladakh
Tumblr media
The Guide to Leh Ladakh Bike Trip is incomplete without discussing the essential tips for preparing your bike for the journey. Leh Ladakh Bike Trip is a popular adventure activity among tourists, and the experience can be elevated by ensuring that your bike is ready for the challenging terrain. Several Leh Ladakh tour packages are available, but before you embark on this journey, make sure your bike is in perfect condition. Here are some tips for preparing your bike for the Leh Ladakh Bike Trip.
Get your bike serviced: A thorough bike service is a must before embarking on the Leh Ladakh Bike Trip. Get your bike checked for oil levels, brake pads, clutch, air filter, chain, sprocket, and tire condition. A well-serviced bike reduces the chances of mechanical failure, ensuring that you have a smooth and hassle-free ride.
Choose the right bike: The right bike is critical for a Leh Ladakh Bike Trip. Choose a bike that can handle the rough terrain, has excellent ground clearance, and is comfortable for long rides. The Royal Enfield is the preferred choice for the Leh Ladakh Bike Trip due to its sturdy build, durability, and high ground clearance.
Carry spares and tools: It is essential to carry spares and tools for your bike to deal with any mechanical issues that may arise during the trip. Carry a puncture repair kit, extra tubes, spark plug, chain links, clutch, and brake levers. Also, carry the necessary tools to fix the bike, such as screwdrivers, pliers, spanners, and a wrench.
Check the brakes: The brakes are one of the most crucial components of your bike. Make sure they are in top condition and have sufficient brake pads. Test the brakes to ensure they are responsive and work efficiently. Also, carry extra brake pads for an emergency.
Inspect the tires: The tires are another critical component of your bike. Check the tire pressure and make sure they have sufficient tread depth. Carry a puncture repair kit and extra tubes. It is recommended to use tubeless tires for the Leh Ladakh Bike Trip as they are more durable and resistant to punctures.

Fuel capacity: Fuel availability is limited in the remote regions of Leh Ladakh. Therefore, it is essential to carry extra fuel. Make sure your bike has sufficient fuel capacity to cover the long stretches of road without any petrol pump. Carry extra fuel in jerry cans or fuel bladders.
Riding gear: The Leh Ladakh Bike Trip is a challenging journey that requires the right riding gear. Wear a full-face helmet, gloves, knee guards, and elbow guards to protect yourself from injuries. Also, carry a raincoat, windcheater, and warm clothes as the weather can be unpredictable.
Navigation tools: The Leh Ladakh Bike Trip is a remote journey, and it is easy to get lost without the proper navigation tools. Carry a GPS device or a smartphone with a good navigation app. Also, carry a map of the area as a backup.
Get acclimatized: The high altitude of Leh Ladakh can cause altitude sickness, which can be life-threatening. It is essential to get acclimatized to the high altitude before embarking on the journey. Spend a few days in Leh and explore the nearby places to get used to the altitude.
Follow the rules: It is essential to follow the traffic rules and regulations of the area. Drive within the speed limit and avoid overtaking on blind corners. Also, be courteous to other drivers on the road.

My childhood favorite place, Laghetto Mini Mella, (Brescia, Italy) is one of the many fishing places in my neighborhood. I never really fished here, but I loved the vibes and I roleplayed swimming in the lake when I used the little swimming pool in my garden. I also used to pretend, as kids do, that my bike was a horse every time I explored the countryside, and this lake was the perfect rest place for both of us. It's a place full of good sensations and memories, so much that I want to make it eternal on my blog.

Dhak Dhak (2023)
Four women, who set out for a road trip to the highest motorable pass in the world on their bikes on a journey of self-discovery.
A positive story about finding yourself. The movie is about four women: A social media obsessed girl, a lonely granny, an oppressed housewife and an over protected daughter. It is a good concept and it would have been better as a seven part series. Then, the filmmakers would have been able to do justice to each storyline and also show us the scenery of different cities. Having written that, it is still a watchable story and it has a positive message so it was not a complete waste of time.
