Day 1: Mythical/Urban Legend

I thought, why not participate in the event as well. I don't get to partake in secret santa but I can dip in during events. Didn't wanna do anything complex so I went for the Men in Black legend.

It was Mabel’s fault, really. She’d been reminiscing with Soos and Melody about dating sims, and how silly they could be. But Mabel mentioned that there was one she actually enjoyed; It was called Doki Doki Literature Club. She recommended it as a casual game with an interesting story. And Dipper was having fun playing it. The mechanics of the game really gave it that taste of meta story-telling he liked. Dipper didn’t see much of a difference when something even weirder started to happen. He wasn’t really paying attention to the files well enough. So when it happened, he was taken by total surprise. Everything had ramped up, he was fully invested in the story and he could tell he was nearly at the climax. And then--Bill was there. In his game. Where the antagonist should have been, it was Bill Fucking Cipher.

I hope you all like this one! I’m much more excited to post it, I’m happy with the outcome. Matching DDLC was fun. It wasn’t my first thought for a horror movie/game, and I had a lot of ideas up my sleeve for this one. It was a toss up between Amnesia and/or a Tim Burton movie. A friend suggested DDLC last second and I got so PUMPED. I had a second sketch prepared with Dipper at his desk playing DDLC, but the fake screenshot took too long. <3

Also, for anyone whose interested, I would use the song “It’s Not Like I Like You!” by Static-P if this were a speed-paint.

Bill isn’t always a menace.

Scarves are my second favorite thing about Fall, right next to pie and the leaves changing color. Where I am, it’s below 50F in the morning and might not even get above 60 until after noon. So yea, it cold! I like their red noses <3

I finished this early(because I wanted a break lmao) so I’m going to work on my Halloween costume. ^^

Anything 100+ years ago counts as antique...so the year 1921 is technically antique now. I could have probably fiddled around with this all night. I hope you enjoy a saucy single nip. The other one exists but the foxed edges took it away:(
