G’raha, you might want to watch where you and Mina have passionate kisses—
Random Asks for Hilda! | @binding-lxght
The statement had him flushing a brilliant shade of red as G’raha pressed a hand over his mouth as if to silence himself. His eyes were wide-- because no, had someone really seen him...? Not that it was much of a secret that he was with Mina, but-!
The wording of... passionate kisses was... concerning.
“I-- M-maybe you shouldn’t be spying on people!”

His eyes, glowing a near-supernatural gold from the unearthly amounts of aether that had flooded his form, were narrowed as he glared at the woman in front of him. The Warrior of Light. A figure that he had known long before now, one he had known from his own childhood.
Mina Oronir. Varis’ lapdog.
“We had heard rumors that you were the so-called Warrior, but none of us truly believe it. I still don’t. Varis is dead. What are you playing at?”

trace - mina @ aymeric
Send “trace” to purposely touch one of my muse’s scars | @binding-lxght
He was lying on his stomach on his bed. Their bed, at least for the evening. His short was off, pants were off, leaving him in only sleeping shorts. Despite the cold that plagued Ishgard, the fireplace in his room gave more than enough heat, and he was content to stare into the flickering flames for a few moments as his thoughts just drifted. Not quite here, not quite there, not quite anywhere.
Aymeric didn’t jump when he felt the body weight settling beside him, and his gaze shifted to a hazy half-lidded one as he felt light fingers beginning to gently trace patterns along his back. Or maybe to state that it was around his back would be more accurate. The thick welts that crossed his back in erratic fashion were near impossible to miss.
The same could be said for the mark burned into his shoulder.
When her fingers grazed that one, Aymeric’s break hitched for a moment. It didn’t hurt but it felt raw-- sensitive. Physically and emotionally. This was part of him no one was ever meant to see, but part of him that she would always know.
He could still recall the scent of burning flesh and just it didn’t hurt, not at first. His shoulder just felt nothing as he stared at his father, unable to fully grasp just what was happening to him.
That he was being branded as the worst of Ishgard simply because of his unending love for Ishgard.
“... I wonder what would have happened if my father hadn’t gone... so far. If he had tried to remain just the Archbishop. It the people would have listened to us, as they finally did... or if they would have turned on us and if things would have just remained... the same.”

❝Why is the room spinning?❞ - Mina
Lightheaded/Fainting Starter | @binding-lxght
“It isn’t, hun.” His voice came out soft as he crouched next to the auri. One hand was on her back, the other gently resting against leg, and his expression was a mixture of love and concern, with a small dash of something-- maybe... alarm? Anger?
No not quite anger. Disappointment.
“... You passed out. You were taken back to the chirugeon and... You were checked over, Mina. You... Did you know? About... the baby?”

@binding-lxght from [x]
Getting Mina... that way had not been part of the plan. There had been no plan. He had fallen for the warrior of light, had become absolutely smitten with her, and had slowly be drawn into the mess that way their relationship. Not that he had any regrets or qualms about this happening between them! The opposite, really; there was little else in his life that was truly just for him and not for the people of Ishgard.
But there were complications that came with it. And an additional complication that neither one of them had been able to predict.
“Yes.” Aymeric’s voice was soft and fraught with worry as he let his gaze follow Mina’s hand. He didn’t reach out to touch her, though, knowing better than to make such a public motion that would hint towards her condition. “I haven’t told anyone. How would they know?”

[ look ] for your muse to catch mine staring
Nonverbal Memes | @binding-lxght
His focus hadn’t been on the other figure in the room but on the mountain of paperwork that the Speaker was, foolishly, attempting to dig through. It was a neverending and pointless task; as soon as he finished up one ten more would replace it, and so many reports, memorandums, and requests were just... pointless. Silly, frivolous requests that wasted his time, either out of spite or because those making the request were truly clueless and didn’t quite understand that no, they couldn’t file an actual complaint just because the children of the Brume dared to be seen.
Ishgard was changing, but it was a constant uphill battle. One that late at night, when everyone else was meant to be sleeping and Aymeric couldn’t help but stare into the flickering dying flames of a candle, he couldn’t help but wonder if it was truly worth it.
It was. Of course it was. But it was harder to find that strength when he only had himself to answer to.
... it wasn’t just himself tonight, though. It was him and his ever vigilant companion and babysitter, the warrior of light.
“Doesn’t it get boring? Sitting there, watching me? Do you imagine you’ll catch me doing something untoward or... are you imagining me doing something else?”

𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐘𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐋 …     (     NSFW EDITION.     ) | @binding-lxght
Blood was smeared across his cheek and neck, and the white of his sleeve had been turned a dark crimson. It wasn’t his own, not most of it, but the feral glint in his eye hinted that perhaps it wouldn’t have mattered if he had been the one bleeding out.
It didn’t matter to him either that Mina was the Warrior-- of light, of darkness, or anything. She was strong. She didn’t need someone protecting her. He didn’t care, and the blood that still dripped from the tip of his spear made that clear.
The man had been garlean. Whether just a spy or actually sent to hurt Mina, he didn’t know. G’raha hadn’t waited to find out.
His name was on the tip of his tongue when Mina spotted him, but there was something in his gaze that had the word drying up. They vanished entirely when his arm pressed against her chest, pushing her back as his spear clattered to the ground. Blood droplets splattered against his pants and shoes, and likely hers as well.
For a moment he just stared before stepping closer to her, mouth capturing hers in a heated, desperate motion.

[ FLOWER ] for your muse to offer my muse their favourite flower . - from Ryne
I think this was like! acts of affection? | @binding-lxght
He was somewhere far away in the moment, in a world that mirrored this one in the best and worst ways. How long had it been? How many years? Decades? Centuries...
He was a man without roots. A man who existed everywhere and no where at once. And if he just... relaxed, if he let his focus drift, maybe he would become a man who vanished.
-- a thought that was interrupted by the gentle touch and tug to one sleeve.
A curious noise escaped him as he glanced down to see Ryne there, flower held tightly in hand before she offered it up to him. It looked to be one from Il Mheg, likely one she had snagged before thinking to bring it back to him. There was no real reason for her to think of him... yet still she had.
He smiled, a wane expression that would vanish just as quickly as he would. “Thank you.” The flower was taken carefully from her and was twirled between crystallized fingers.

❝You’re really pale.❞ - Ryne
Lightheaded/Fainting Starters | @binding-lxght
Ah, she had noticed. Despite the fact that he had done his best to try to hide how much his recent efforts had taken out of him, there was no easy way to hide how pale he seemed. It seemed even more stark up against the bright blue that danced along most of his body now; truly at this point he wasn’t sure if he really was more man or crystal.
He was running out of time. The Tower was going to win and claim him, and before that happened he just-- he had to make sure... he had to make sure the Scions were able to return home. It would leave him here, alone.
Not alone. He had his life, his family built in the First. And he wasn’t the only one who would be left behind, whose life had been changed by the Warrior of Darkness and the Scions. Ryne would feel that loss even more keenly as her life had only truly begun with them.
The Exarch glanced over at her with a tired smile. “T’is nothing to be concerned of. We have been busy as of late. I will rest soon, I promise.”

❥     𝐍𝐒𝐅𝐖  𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄   𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍   𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐒   . | @binding-lxght
Her words burned along his skin as G’raha flushed a shade near identical to his hair. Mina was hardly subtle about her affections or desires. It was new for him, near electrifying, and he wasn’t sure he would ever get used to it. Honestly, he wasn’t sure he even wanted to get used to it.
He loved her. She loved him. It was almost overwhelming how intense they felt about each other.
“-- I-- I love you too.” G’raha whispered the words out as he reached out, gently touching her cheek. “I love you more than there are stars in the sky. I love, I want-- I want you, all of you, now and forever. Please...”

❝I think you need to lay down.❞ [ mina ]
Lightheaded/Fainting Starter | @binding-lxght
Considering how much blood was coming from the stab wound on his side, G’raha was inclined to believe Mina. Pulling the dagger out had probably been a mistake, even with his own innate healing skill. He should have waited for someone else to check it out. Should have not acted so impulsively.
But he had been worried about Mina. He couldn’t stop himself from jumping between her and danger, couldn’t stop himself from immediately ripping the weapon out and tossing it to the ground, couldn’t stop himself from grabbing her wrist and drag her along to make sure no one else could get close to her.
Oh, but this had been a mistake.
“I’m fine.” Cool white light was pouring out from his fingertips as he tried to stem the blood flow and start to close the wound. G’raha let out a heavy breath before glancing over at Mina, offering his most comforting smile. “I promise. Once I know you’re safe I’ll rest.”

I want the K
6: Teary Kiss | @binding-lxght
“Shh, shh...”
It wasn’t often that Mina just-- broke. It wasn’t often, if ever! that she seemed to crumble apart before his eyes. In these moments Aymeric was glad he had spent so much of his life supporting others. It sounded cruel and empty to view it that way, but it made it easy to slip back into that role when she was upset. Someone else might have hesitated or faltered, but his feet were planted firmly on the ground as his hand ran along her back, his other arm drawn around her body.
These months were hard, moreso for her than he could possibly understand. There was no way they could hide, not in any permanent fashion, what was happening to her body and why it was happening. What started as a few occasional rumors had become a brushfire of whispers and stares that ran through the noble houses of Ishgard. The Speaker and the Warrior of Light - a bastard and an auri--
But he was the Speaker of the House. He was Thordan’s son. And she was the Warrior of Light, the one who had ended the Dragonsong war. They could whisper, but that was all.
“It’s okay love.” A gentle kiss was pressed against her forehead as she continued to sob, mentally worn from the stress of trying to be both a warrior and a mother-to-be. “It’s okay. You can let it all out.”
