8/31 I was very surprised with Bingo Hell, it was just an absolute blast! I can't remember the last time a movie made 1.5 hours go by so quickly! Richard Brake is just the perfect guy to play a 'deal with the devil' type character, and I loved the setting.

Its bad enough when Lupita's beloved neighborhood is starting to get gentrified, its a whole other thing when the local bingo hall is taken over by some odd newcomer offering prizes beyond anyones imagination. Is there really something sinister a foot, or are the citizens of Oak Springs just reluctant to change.

You should watch if: You want a movie that is not only women and POC lead, but also elderly lead. You like a movie with a strong allegory for greedy capitalists. You like when the devil wears slutty little suits with no ties and the top buttons un buttoned. You're into random goo. Richard Brake.

Ok, you know what, I think Harrow DOES have people waiting fondly for her — Palamedes's "You know, I miss Harrow 😢 terribly 🥹" makes it clear that she is the people's little meow meow — but she IS about to wake up to Alecto, her beloved, stabbing a naked God with wine-stained sheets and dried cum on his chest. I think THAT'S going to be the big trauma. There's also the fact where was just in hell for 6 months and presumably didn't have a great time there either, and I think she'll feel some kind of way about Gideon's Reputation Era and the ongoing attack on the Ninth, but I think the sight of the jock (John's cock) might be the biggest trauma of them all.

Also yes, I would say so! Maybe a bit less than that. HtN takes place about 6 months after the end of HtN, and I think there are 14 months between the letter arriving on the Ninth and the night of the Emperor's murder. So a little under two years :)
