In this article and video, part of our Science News feature, see how indigenous practices including controlled burns are helping to restore ecosystem health in the U.S. West. https://bit.ly/FiresArticleBI . . . Sooooo, you know how normal people have crushes on humans?
I have a crush on a research lab.
Like, an actual lab. Im not kidding.
I borrow a particular labs' research equipment everyday, and when I walk by their posters in the PNB building, I am in literal heaven. They do research in genetic factors of limb development, work with qPCR, western blot, mouse model embryonic development ANDDDD antibody tagged imaging.
I've fallen so so hard for this lab.
I repeat, a LAB.
I love research so much rn and I'm so so so infatuated with the idea of being a hardcore biomed researcher/academic with a splash of nerdy wine aunt energy.
hopefully I'll get there before I hit 30.
cheers to my future. God help us all (especially me).
Heterotrophic bacteria derive energy from organic compounds. They help in nutrient recycling. They decompose dead and decaying plants and animal remnants and help in biodegradation. Heterotrophic bacteria are used for making curd, antibiotics, nitrogen-fixation, etc.
I started studying officially for the Mcat this week. Been studying 8+ hours everyday since I have a 3 month study plan ( that I made myself do nothing official). Will be taking the Mcat in September
