Look at how perfectly they constructed that nest. Set the phaser to maximum. we're bustin' outta here.

The Mourning Dove nest is still doing well. Obviously, there are more than just eggs under this bird...! Hope to see those nestlings peeking out soon 😀

Nests
As the leaves drop from the trees nests are revealed. I noticed these every years so this year I decided to get some photos. With the provincial government putting money into housing I think they might consider repurposing these as shelters for the homeless 🙂

It's Dry December in the upper Midwest, U.S. (i.e. unexpectedly, no steady, staying snow yet), so I wasn't really expecting eggs when I looked into the bird's nest. However, I also wasn't expecting the acorns one disappointing father squirrel loves more than his children, symbolized above by his squirreling away acorns in a bird's nursery.

I got a new film camera recently but something went wrong and the film broke when rewinding. This is the only picture that was salvaged. It's all part of the process, I suppose, but it's unfortunate since this was probably the least interesting picture on there. But hey, at least I got some bird nests.
