It’s been a rough 2020 and creating your new Holiday can and will be rewarding. It can also be a one time lark that will make for an insane and hilarious story when we finally get vaccinated and share a meal in person again.
We will be the insane grandparents/aunts and uncles reminiscing about our archaic past to future generations, “Remember that year during the pandemic when we all went a little mad over the holidays and ate Instant Pot turkey and cranberry jelly from a can while using ‘the social medias’ to communicate to family in our boxer shorts? Your generation doesn’t know hardship like mine does.”
Hah, im so forgetful i lost track of days. Thought its monday. but it was a good day anyhow, coz i drove to the church totally forgotting the churchs holding a mass today. Thought i go see a friend there, ended up in Mass. I guess God has been calling me to His house coz i was sorta pouting at Him & was thinking of stopping from attending anymore mass for a long time. On the way to the shop, i saw a rumpled bird nest underneath a tree, in my path. I froze for a moment, thinking maybe its one of those discarded empty nest. Seen a lot of those in my lifetime. But i picked it up and peered in, saw a pair of beak in the gloom of the nest, far at the bottom. it chirped. I wanted to climb the tree & but i was afraid id slip so i went & get a dude to put it back. He seemed annoyed at being interrupted doing his shoping, but i thanked him anyway. I hope the birdchick will be okay. Coz we put the nest a bit way off where we found it. Scared the mama cant find it. Birdchick seemed to hv grown a full body of feather already but is yet to learn flying.
Strange coincidence today - maybe God said "Youre like this little birdie, kiddo. Fallen off My tree. Now, come to Me with your weariness & your wound, & I shall give you respite. Return to Me & be sheltered from the storm once more."

It is found in the forests of southern India and Sri Lanka. The yellow-browed bulbul is mainly yellow on the underside and olive above with a distinct yellow brow. They are easily located by their loud calls but tend to skulk within foliage below the forest canopy. While its taxonomic classification has changed over time, it is currently recognized as the sole species within the monotypic genus Acritillas. (at Matale)
