y’all stay talking about how hard scorpios have it but y’all don’t talk about the struggles capricorns face. especially capricorn moons?? have y’all ever encountered a capricorn moon that wasn’t in therapy or didn’t desperately need it??? they be facing the most insane level of emotional distress and then turn around and pick up more shifts and start studying harder like that shit finna help lmfao

the discourse surrounding 8H synastry is... odd to me. i feel like some people (specifically the tumblr/tiktok girlies) are romanticizing trauma bonding. y’all can talk about how good the sex is all y’all want, but unless you and the person involved have a good amount of self-awareness and are spiritually evolved enough (especially if y'all have your own 8H placements in your own charts), i feel like you’re just setting yourself up to be in a “toxic” relationship with somebody. it could just be my aqua venus talking, but the whole “baring your soul” to someone and developing a possessive/jealous bond with them don't sound fun to me. i would rather perish.

everyone talks about how dramatic your saturn return is but why does no one bring up how traumatic your 12H profection years are? being 23 was literally one of the most unhinged experiences i’ve ever had

i be tryna advocate for geminis because i know they’re just lil creative mercurial sponges and wanna have enough knowledge to see everything from every side… but why do some of them act like that? and you know what i mean. especially the more “unevolved” gemini placements, they be doing the most insane level of mental acrobatics and be contrarian just for the sake of being contrarian

i have to say this as an 8H moon, i understand what y’all mean when y’all say 8H, scorpio, and plutonian placements usually face a lot of vitriol from others for no reason, but honestly, some of y’all be using that as a justification for being paranoid and manipulative. operating from a place of pain, assuming that everybody is out to get you, and being hyper-vigilant of people’s intentions isn’t the type of behavior anyone should be trying to normalize. let that hurt go pookie <3

i feel like this has been spoken about before but i’ll never understand why water signs are constantly stereotyped as the emotional crybabies of the zodiac but fire signs aren’t? water signs can definitely be sensitive and existential but prominent fire placements will literally lose their mind over the smallest shit and then be cool 10 minutes later… yes i’m looking at you aries

speaking of aries, can we address the way that they’re literally the toddlers of the zodiac and very much so behave like it? idk as a pisces i have a soft spot for them, i love their childlike, carefree spirit, and the way they be throwing tantrums for fun tickles me

this note doesn’t pertain particularly to signs/placements but astrology in general. i am begging y’all (specifically the people who are newer/beginners to astrology) to use traditional studies as a starting point and to stop taking notes from these tiktoks and tumblr posts. there are astrologers on these platforms who have done the work and studied (love y'all), but there are a plethora who haven’t. i saw a post the other day where somebody said squares/oppositions don’t indicate conflict in a chart and i felt like i was losing my damn mind. i definitely recommend the astrology podcast as a starting point for beginners, chris brennan is amazing and i still find myself re-listening to a lot of his content

i talked to one of my mutuals the other day about this, but astrology is such an amazing tool, and y’all should use it for so much more than self-validation. y’all do not need to have a certain venus placement to be considered pretty. y'all do not need certain mercury or uranus placements to be considered intelligent/creative. y’all do not have to rely on [insert random asteroid here] to know what your future spouse is gonna look like, when/where y’all are gonna meet, how they’re gonna perceive you, etc. etc. etc. i understand the hype around shit like that is due to social conditioning/constructs, but there are so many more important, relevant things you can learn about yourself through astrology that don’t revolve around "aesthetics"

the girls are gonna hate me for this one, but i don’t understand the hype around lilith. and i say this as someone with a tight sextile between my sun and BML. there’s three versions of it, two of which don’t even technically exist, and then there’s a mean/true version that affects the accuracy. if anyone has more knowledge than me on the subject feel free to give me your input, because i feel like the insane amount of attention lilith gets has to do more with the whole “dark feminine archetype” trend that the tiktok/tumblr girlies love and less to do with its relevance from an astrology/astronomical lens (i feel this way about most asteroids honestly, but we’ll wake up that tea another time)

Astrology Observations

♡ Aries / 1st house placements individuals can barely hold a grudge esp when it comes to the people they love it breaks my heart how pure they are they can hurt you or be hurt by you and may get riled up in the heat of the moment but will forget it immediately esp once they’ve been able to communicate it with whomever they had such encounter with

♡ Also aries placements after any minor inconvenience:

♡people with gemini + 1st house or aries placements i’m praying for you and your restless asses rn. Everything about those people who have those placements in their chart at the same time is restless mind body heart and soul. Truly exhausting.

♡one thing that i personally find negative about 8th house synastry and it’s something that i don’t see anybody really talking about is how much you can forgive those who have their planets in you 8th house no matter what especially if it’s a platonic/familial relationship. Especially if it’s their moon.

♡i don’t see people talk about familial/platonic 8th house synastry because it’s just?????? It’s very confusing but i will say that it’s very deep it makes you usually love the person so much that you forgive all their mistakes and whatever they did just because you love them that much

♡libra placements can be ridiculously superficial. They’re also the type of people whose feeling are very much fleeting they can be so in love with someone and then when they’re done they can easily get up and move on and in some cases i have seen they’re incapable of having in sort of depth to them and i don’t think that it’s a very bad thing because for someone who has so many cancer placements in their chart i crave that kind of carefreeness so to say.

♡something i have noticed in intercepted charts is that the native can demonstrate all the traits for for both houses it lies in for some reason. Take for example someone that has a 29 degrees cancer rising and cancer is placed in both the 12th and the 1st house or in the 12th house only and the native also has mars in in cancer however the website calculated it in a way where the mars placement is placed in the 12th house in an early cancer degree, here the native can have both the traits of mars in the 12th house and some traits of mars in the 1st house. That’s why i sometime ditch the whole sign system.

♡Neptunian/12th house influence in a chart esp when it’s heavy makes me so sad:( they see the world in a rose tinted glass to the point where they give people the benefit of the doubt way too much even when they don’t deserve it. The world is so hazy to them sooooo so so so hazy. Praying for them fr. No matter what they’ll still be a lil confused and still living in dreamland.

♡pisces placements men except pisces sun men are adorable oh my god. Aries cancer and pisces placements men especially when they’re together in a chart creates the most adorable endearing sweetest men ever when they’re developed. Like i could cry rn:( not to mention that they’re usually soooo easy on the eye. Pretty boys typa thing ♥️

♡if anyone wants to see how an 8th house synastry can play out just watch the movie damage (1992) the guy was literally sick to his stomach and almost lost his mind. their connection was a bit taboo.

♡leo in your chart shows where you’re envied the most. Example: if you have leo in the 2nd house people may envy you because of your belongings and anything that you own basically be it clothes jewelry properties whatever. Leo in the 4th house people can envy you because of how great your family is or your home or home life in general and so on.

♡been seening so many scorpio girls that are mean girls wannabes. It’s not working babes:( it’s ok that you’re empathetic bc at the end of the day you’re a water sign. It takes lots of nonchalance for it to be a thing for you and you’re anything but nonchalant.

♡venusian risings + cancer risings are the most beautiful in my opinion. cancer is an honorable venus baby bc of how beautiful they can be.

♡forever in love with saturnians’ bone structure esp cap risings and saturn on the asc natives<3

♡aries stellium/1st house stellium natives are not to be fucked with. When they’re developed, they’re warm blooded animals they don’t need validation bc they’re internally stable and their opinion of themselves IS what matters most yet they receive attention like it’s nobody’s business and are intimidating as hell.

♡sometimes I genuinely feel bad for people with virgo placements i can’t imagine how hard they are on themselves. You’re doing better than you think you’re doing cut yourself some slack and breathe. Sometimes it’s totally fine to do nothing and not feel bad for it. It’s also fine if you’re not perfect and yes you will be loved. And also nobody judges you or think less of you than you do to yourself.

♡sagittarius placements people esp suns are just so interesting to me. you know that scene of gina linetti from brooklyn 99 where the psychologists were evaluating her at a party? that’s literally how i feel about sags. Love yall random asses mwah.

♡also in my perfectly sound opinion i believe that most fire placements have amazing hair not only leos. The same thing applies to water signs’ eyes.

♡pisces suns show that they care more than they actually do lol they’re about just as two faced, changeable, inconsistent as geminis.

♡pisces and sag suns are seriously the two sun signs that i feel like can move on from anything pretty quickly. even if they pretend that they’re sad it’s just for show and attention. They’re like the air signs of their respective elements haha.

♡just saw kim kardashian’s chart and noticed that she has pluto and saturn in the 10th house it could be why the world is so divided on their opinion of her and why everyone has such a strong opinion of her. It’s either they love her or deeply hate her and are annoyed by her. Either way people are talking about her. She’s also a libra with a pisces moon and a sag rising talk about fickle. I will stop here bc i could literally make this whole post about her. I might actually make another celeb birth chart reading about her.

♡idk anyone with an aries moon but i imagine it’s literally like having some sort of an unhinged mother. Literally just typing this made me feel uneasy like the energy changed immediately. Was she angry? Was she loud or domineering in the household? Did that make you feel like you’re walking on eggshells around her? I also think that this applies to ppl who have moon-mars and maybe even moon-pluto as well. Ugh it feels yucky writing this one bc if that’s the case for you the by all means cut her off completely.

♡i also feel like that people who have pisces moon can feel very bad for their mother maybe bc they’ve seen her go through some shit. And it’s bad for pisces moons bc they could sympathize with her to their detriment the way the look at the world from a hazy spectacle bc the mom could be abusive and yall would still feel sorry for her and making excuses for her action towards you. Grow some balls and get the fuck out of there or in your case eyeballs idk.

cancer risings remember everything. they are extremely perceptive and detective-like. they notice the small details others wouldn't. this is what makes them such skilled homemakers, if they are water heavy they most likely enjoy doing chores, cooking, and taking care of the household.

the Aquarius rising, also saturn ruled, is similarly sardonic in nature and demeanor. they have a tendency to think they know best which can lead them to come off conceited to others. they are creatures of nature with taurus on their IC, and extremely private. they tend to sound harsh when they speak with aries on their third house cusp which can lead others to have polarizing feelings towards them. others easily switch up on them because oftentimes they are looking for a reason to feel justified in their dislike for them.

Vesta & Virginity

I saw a post somewhere that said Vesta in the natal chart can represent one's virginity and it got me thinking. So, here's my interpretation of how your Vesta sign/house placement can determine how/where you lose your virginity

Note: Don't look into this too seriously, mostly because the idea of virginity is so vastly different for each person and this post is strictly just predictions (but totally let me know if anything resonates in the comments if you feel comfortable sharing)

TW: sex (obvi), blood, mensuration, pregnancy, masturbation, food play, death, and other touchy subjects revolving around sex

Aries/1st House - Losing your virginity could have been an impulsive decision or wasn't well thought out. The act could have been fast or sharp, could indicate there's pain or blood involved or just roughness in general. Maybe you got bored quickly after starting either because it wasn't all that you thought it'd be, your partner's not all that great, or the weight of the situation dawned on you. Someone could be on their period(?). This gives me the idea that you mostly focused on yourself and how you feel during the act (which isn't a bad thing btw, especially when it comes to your first time). I'm also getting that, if this resonates with you, you took your own virginity or maybe that's something you say often. Maybe the first time you experienced sex was alone with yourself? Could be with someone you play sports with, or the act could feel competitive.

Taurus/2nd House - You likely will lose your virginity in a bed or a place where you are comfortable, cozy, and warm (probably at home too). Lots of blankets. I'm seeing slow and sensual, lots of touching and foreplay. This placement makes me think it could happen either right before you go to bed or right after you wake up, something about sleep. Maybe even after eating too (or food is involved ???). Okay this might be a far stretch, but maybe your first time was via masturbation and involving a food object lol. Anyways, on another note, money could somehow be involved or something was done for money.

Gemini/3rd House - Communication could be a big deal in some capacity, talking a lot before or during the act. Maybe talking is what ultimately leads to it happening in the first place. Something to do with neighbors, with a neighbor, in a neighbor's house. Could be with someone you knew since childhood or someone your sibling introduced you to. Maybe it even takes place in your sibling's room lol. You could lose your virginity on a short trip/road trip or in a car. Could happen at school, while you're still enrolled in school (especially high school), with someone from school, on the bus from school. The person could end up being a one night stand.

Cancer/4th House - When you lose your virginity you may be in a very comfortable place or with someone you feel comfortable with. Very big indicator of it happening at home, or maybe your partner's home. Probably in a bed too. If the act doesn't take place in your or your partner's home it could be in one our your childhood homes or the family's home. Someone's family could be nearby. Someone's mom specifically could be like in the other room or something lol. The act could result in pregnancy or maybe there's a pregnancy scare afterwards (maybe someone's just very worried about that in general too). Something involving the breasts or stomach, maybe a lot of attention is drawn to the areas or maybe you keep those areas covered with a shirt or blanket

Leo/5th House - Somehow related to creative activities (theater, drama especially). If you're someone involved in the arts, it could be someone with whom you met through said art activity. They could be involved in the arts. The act could be dramatic or more dramatic than it needs to be lol. You likely view the act as very fun afterwards though or maybe you feel very empowered (however, if aspected badly it could mean the opposite). Could result in pregnancy or a pregnancy scare after though so be careful.

Virgo/6th House - You may heavily hold onto your virginity and take it very seriously. On the flip side, the act could happen fairly casually. Maybe while you're out running errands you decide to just stop by someone house and do it lol. Another placement that can indicate that money was involved, or it could be done as a favor/service for someone. You or your partner could be sick during the act or become sick after, maybe you gave each other a cold because of it lol. Maybe sex became a routine for you after you lost your virginity.

since i did that “spicy” takes post i wanted to also make a post in defense of the negative takes i hear about certain signs/placements and showing some love to the ones that i feel like don't get as much appreciation as they deserve! hope y'all enjoy! ♡

aquarius placements are not unemotional sociopaths and honestly this is such a goofy ass take. aquarius’ archetype literally centers around their need to advance society and wanting to help those around them as a means to do so. can their saturnian influence make them come off as cold in their approach sometimes? sure. but the whole “aquarius doesn’t have emotions and doesn’t care about anyone’s feelings” doesn’t make any type of sense considering the fact that aquarius craves connection with others in order to feel fulfilled

speaking of saturnian influence, y’all need to check up on your saturnian friends, especially if you’re below the age of 30. people tend to bring up how destructive and chaotic pluto is and the effect it can have on you if it’s tightly aspecting your personal planets, but i feel like people overlook the way that saturnian energy literally starts chipping away at you the moment you pop out the coochie. a lot of saturnians will consciously put too much on their plate because they don’t know how to function without overworking themselves, or, they’re distracting themselves from heavy emotions that they don’t want to feel. the idea of being alone with their thoughts is the most terrifying thing to them, and they would definitely benefit from having people around them that can slow them down and help them relax

to any parents (or people who work with children), please be gentle with your water sign babies. especially the scorpios and pisces. i feel like we don’t give children enough credit for how intelligent they actually are, and when it comes to water sign children i promise you, they know exactly what the fuck is going on. they know that you’re stressed out, they can recognize the energy in the room, and they’re internalizing all of your emotions and can be more prone to feeling overstimulated because of it. be patient with them, and as a former water sign baby myself, give them a hug for me <3

and since we’re giving out hugs, i gotta give a virtual one to my pisces and virgo placements. pisces and virgo are both signs of service, and typically opt to suffer in silence for the sake of those around them. i feel like pisces is the “worst” of the two, as pisces struggles with boundaries, and even when we’re being mistreated or abused by others we can literally convince ourselves that that’s actually not the case and that everything’s fine. pisces is also the only water sign that doesn’t have “armor” (cancer [the crab] has its shell, and scorpio [the scorpion] has its exoskeleton, claws, and stinger), which results in us getting hurt a lot. it’s typically why some pisces placements are prone to escapist tendencies, addiction, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. but pisces is the oldest of the zodiac, and there’s so much wisdom and spiritual knowledge that we unlock once we grow and evolve enough to “swim away” from the shit that doesn’t serve us

and i bring this up because i feel like pisces is constantly coded as “delusional” or “hyper-emotional”, and i know y’all love pointing out how “judgemental” and “nitpicky” virgo is. and while those stereotypes can be true depending on the person, i feel like the amount of energy pisces and virgo put into helping other people is constantly overshadowed by whatever “flaws” they may have. there was a tweet i read that said “maybe the final stage in your healing journey is finally telling people to fuck off”, that’s very much so the advice i’d give to pisces and virgo. your worth is not intrinsically linked to how much pain you can withstand or how much abuse you can tolerate from people who claim to love you. you deserve so much more and i promise there’s something bigger and better waiting for you on the other side of what it is that you’re currently settling for

i feel like the importance of 12H, neptune, water sign placements can often get overlooked in comparison to more practical, “realistic” planetary/sign placements. it’s definitely important to have balanced, grounded energy in your chart alongside these types of placements, but i feel like people underestimate how powerful it is to have spiritual and creative placements as well. and while these can be difficult aspects to master, i feel like once you do get to a point where you’ve done the work it can not only make you an incredible artist, but an extremely compassionate, empathetic healer. people with these placements tend to go through a lot, and experience an insane amount of turmoil. but no matter how tired you are, and no matter how misunderstood or lost you may feel, you’re here to serve a greater purpose and your craft is sacred. you have tools at your disposal that it takes people years upon years to develop, and it’s not something that should be taken for granted

Marilyn Monroe's Aquarius moon greatly influenced her worldview and political beliefs. She was a strong advocate for equality, even during a time when it was considered radical to stand up for marginalized groups. For instance, she helped elevate Ella Fitzgerald's career by using her own influence to secure Fitzgerald a performance at a popular nightclub. Marilyn Monroe's Leo rising was a key factor in her becoming the iconic figure that we know today. A savvy businesswoman, she was skilled at reinventing herself to capture the public's attention. It is absolutely fascinating to see that Marilyn had these placements in her chart. Chiron’s presence in the 10th house shows that she had to rely solely on herself for parenting and may have felt unwarranted guilt over her father leaving the family. This contributed to her never experiencing a normal childhood and being burdened with an excessive amount of responsibility at a very young age. Her struggles and troubles were evident to the public (the 10th house). The 10th house looks at the 4th house where her Saturn lies the planet of restriction, lessons and struggles in the 4th house the house of home family and the mother which offers insight into her home life and parents. Unfortunately, marilyn’s mother was mentally unstable and struggled with alcoholism, leading to her being institutionalized and unable to provide a stable home environment for Marilyn. As a result, Marilyn never felt safe in her home and lacked a consistent parental figure to rely on. Finally, Pluto in the 12th house, Pluto is the planet of transformation, destruction and rebirth, having this intense planet in this house was really difficult for her she struggled with her mental health all her life this Pluto placement in the 12th house indicated that she had to be put in a foster care because she had no one to take care of her. She had to bear an unreasonable amount of responsibility from a very young age.

Neptune conjuncts her ascendant— Lilith in the 1st house

This placement could help explain the public’s obsession with her and could be a driving factor behind the media’s portrayal of her as nothing but a beauty queen/sex symbol, often neglecting other qualities and talents. Since Neptune could indicate illusion, it’s possible that the way people idolized Marilyn was more based on a fantasy and imagination than reality— merely a projection of her but not the real her. Unfortunately, this skewed depiction of her is the cause of the public’s objectification of her which was deeply dehumanizing and debilitating for her mental health. Lilith in the 1st house might have felt to her like that her deepest wounds, insecurities and shame were crystal clear to her and were things that she might have been aware of constantly all the while being unmercifully sexualized by the media. She is naturally alluring that is what these placements essentially convey.

Mars in pisces

This particular placement is another placement that furthermore made the media and the public objectify her. The Piscean influence in her chart highlights certain characteristics such as a tendency to repress anger which may led to her depression as reported by the close people around her that she would stay in bed & eat, that she wouldn’t shower for days and that her bed would contain food crumbs from all the times she ate on her bed without having the physical and mental strength to clean the room due to her depression. She had a perceived sense of victimhood she felt defeated by the media and the terrors of her past haunting her. Another angle of the illusion that this Piscean placement shows is people’s perception of her, the way they viewed her as a sex symbol despite her stating that she hates sex.

Moon square Saturn

Having her moon in the 7th house squaring her Saturn in the 4th house shows how she tried to fill the void that was caused by her early childhood traumas by clinging onto the men that she was involved with. She might have looked for love in those men but also for her identity. She was an intelligent woman and she was enamored by her husband Arthur Miller who was a playwright who happened to be the first man in her life to validate her intelligence and took her and her hunger for knowledge seriously. Another man who happened to meet her and spend time with her stated that her whole life was a search for identity and that her sexual persona was a complete lie.

Moon square mercury’s thoughts and opinions directly conflict with the way they feel. Because of this they can be bad decision makers.
