The Birth of Richard
Tumblr media
Just a little story about life after Sariphi's coronation as queen, the stages of her pregnancy with Richard and Richard's birth. To be honest, I've got quite a fetish for fpreg and birthing stories, and it's kinda embarrassing to even mention it, hahaha...😅 Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Word Count: 2,916 words.
Warnings: pregnancy, morning sickness, swollen breasts, lactation, childbirth, episode 12 spoilers.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shortly after Sariphi was crowned the official Queen of the Beasts, life in Ozmargo had never been the same. Some of the beasts were still skeptical of having a human woman like Sariphi be their queen, but her kindness and sweet disposition quickly won them over.
Leonhart was happy that Sariphi had proved worthy enough to rule by his side. Then again, he had always known that she was worthy to be Queen of the Beasts.
After their marriage, everyone carried on with their lives as usual. But then, one year later, some changes had slowly begun to materialize. It all started one morning when Sariphi suddenly felt sick and threw up in a basin provided by the maids.
Sariphi tried to focus on her queenly duties, but she would often get dizzy and nauseous in between them. Cy, Clops, Amit, and Lanteveldt would often worry about how pale her face looked, and how she would sometimes pause her duties to throw up.
Eventually, Leonhart took notice of her getting sick and expressed his concerns. "My queen, are you ill?" he asked. Sariphi's shoulders shook as she panted, leaning over the vomit in the basin.
"So-Sorry, Leo," she sighed as she wiped her mouth with a handkerchief. "I just got a bit nauseous." Leonhart frowned. If Sariphi is sick with something, then she'll need to rest. "Sariphi, I'll have the Head Priest look after you tomorrow." he said.
"I'm sure it's nothing serious." Sariphi said with an assuring smile. "It's probably just the flu or something." Despite seeing her smile, Leonhart couldn't help but worry about Sariphi's condition. "Don't take things like this so lightly, Sariphi." he said firmly.
"I do not intend to lose my new queen any time soon. If you truly are ill with something, then it's best that you get some rest and take better care of yourself." Sariphi nodded. "Okay, Leo." she said.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And so, Sariphi was examined by the Head Priest. After a thorough medical examination, the Head Priest nodded. "It seems that your body is undergoing some changes, my queen." he said. Sariphi tilted her head in confusion. "What does that mean?" she asked.
The Head Priest smiled. "It means, my queen, that you are..."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"P-PR-PREGNANT?!?!" Amit's screech echoed through the air. Amit has been worried that Sariphi might be suffering some sort of illness since she was constantly nauseous, but to hear Sariphi announce that she was actually pregnant... she was not prepared for that at all!
Neither were Cy and Clops, for Cy's eye was wide and Clops' mouth hung open. Even Lanteveldt was flabbergasted.
Sariphi nodded. "Yep. I was worried that it might be the flu or something, but the Head Priest said that I was actually suffering morning sickness." she replied. "And my body is preparing itself for my baby to develop."
Amit, Lanteveldt, Cy and Clops said nothing as they all stared at Sariphi with wide eyes. Sariphi looked at her friends with concern. "Guys, what's wrong?" she asked.
Then Amit burst into tears as she wrapped her arms around Sariphi's torso. "SARIPHI...!!!" she wailed joyfully. "Congratulations!!! You're going to be a mother!!!" Cy and Clops were equally as excited as they hopped up and down.
"Congratulations, Sariphi! We're so happy for you!!!" Clops cried. "Happy!" Cy squealed, tears streaming from his eye. Lanteveldt just scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Congrats, I guess?" he said.
Sariphi beamed. "Thank you!" she said. If she was being honest, she was excited to be a mother, but at the same time, she also felt pretty anxious. To actually be pregnant for the first time ever... that feeling felt very weird to her.
"I wonder how Leonhart will react to the news...? Would he be happy or... shocked?" she wondered. Most likely the latter. No doubt that Leonhart would be speechless once he finds out he's going to be a father.
She remembered their talk back at the waterfalls during their visit at Sarbul. Leonhart told her how since he was king, he was duty bound to produce an heir to the throne.
He also told her how his dying father, or rather, uncle expressed his deep loathing towards him because of his half-human blood and how he was terrified of passing on the same burden of his cursed blood towards his future offspring.
He even expressed how he was not confident that he could love a child born from his blood. Leonhart once loathed that weak and inferior human side of him. How it was a troublesome curse he didn't wish to pass on to his future offspring if he were to take a queen.
But Sariphi also remembered the next words he told her that night: "No matter what predicament my blood places my heirs in, if they are the children of our union, then I swear on my name, Leonhart, to defend them with all my body and soul."
She had prayed that that curse of his would one day be a blessing. And seems that day finally came true. Even after his whole kingdom discovered his human form, he fought hard to reclaim his kingdom and won back his people's trust.
Now he no longer held any fear of burdening his offspring with his human blood. Sariphi smiled. "I can't wait to tell Leonhart the wonderful news." she thought.
"Oh, Lady Sariphi, does His Majesty know about the wonderous news?" Amit asked. "No," Sariphi replied, "but I'll tell him tonight."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later that night, Leonhart returned to his bedchambers, exhausted from a day of work. Sariphi was sitting on the bed, smiling. "Good evening, Leo." she greeted him.
Leonhart noticed that Sariphi was smiling from ear to ear, which was rather strange. What did the Head Priest say to her to make her smile like that? "Sariphi, you look rather joyful tonight. What happened?" Leonhart asked.
Sariphi giggled. "Well, sire. The Head Priest told me that I'm going to be a mother." she said. Leonhart stiffened as his ruby-red eyes widened. Did he just hear her correctly? Did she say what he thought he heard her say? "Sariphi, repeat that one more time." he said.
"I visited the Head Priest, and he told me that I was actually suffering morning sickness, which is normal during the first stages of pregnancy." Sariphi replied joyfully. "That means I'm pregnant! Isn't it exciting? You're going to be a father, Leo!"
Leonhart said nothing as he stood still in his spot. His fur bristled as thoughts rushed through his mind. Sariphi looked at her husband with concern.
"Leo, are you okay?" she asked. "Are you...shocked?" She started to worry. "Oh, no! Was it too soon? I should've been more subtle on letting him know about my pregnancy. Maybe I should..."
Sariphi's thoughts were suddenly interrupted as Leonhart suddenly approached her. Sariphi looked up at her large husband, seeing the unreadable expression on his face. "Leonhart...?" she asked. Leonhart said nothing as he tenderly embraced his wife's small frame.
"Sariphi..." he whispered as he rubbed his furry cheek against hers tenderly. "Leo...?" Sariphi asked as she looked at her husband's eyes. It was sometimes difficult to understand his facial expressions, but the look in his eyes told her that he was smiling with elation.
"Sariphi, I cannot tell you how deeply happy I am to be a father." Leonhart said. "I look forward to meeting our child when it is born." Sariphi smiled as she wrapped her arms around Leonhart's neck.
"I have no doubt that you'll be a wonderful father, Leo." Sariphi said. Leonhart nodded.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ever since Sariphi's pregnancy was announced, Sariphi had gone through many changes. Besides her morning sickness, she sometimes went through certain mood swings like crying over the littlest things and craving certain foods.
With each passing week, Sariphi's once-flat belly started to noticeably round out. As her belly grew, so did her breasts. They would get big, swollen and tender as they were filled with milk for her baby.
Poor Sariphi would moan in pain as she massaged her sore breasts. And since she started to lactate, she has to hold a large bowl under her breasts as the milk dripped down into it.
Ever her faithful friends and attendants, Cy and Clops stood by her side and tended to her. They even held up the bowl for Sariphi whenever she was lactating. Little by little, the bump on her belly started to grow bigger and bigger until she looked big and gravid.
She couldn't even count the times the unborn baby kicked and moved in her belly. Sariphi smiled. If the little baby can kick her, that proves that the baby will be born healthy.
Sariphi sometimes had trouble walking around the palace grounds. With her gravid stomach, she would only waddle short distances and get tired quickly. Carrying around a growing baby in your belly was certainly no easy task!
Fortunately for her, she wasn't alone. Cy, Clops, Amit, Lanteveldt, Anubis and even Leonhart himself kept constant watch over her and her unborn baby.
One day, Sariphi was in the gardens with Cy, Clops, Amit and Lantevelt having a little picnic. Little Tetra was there with them, enjoying her day together with her companions. Sariphi rubbed her round belly, smiling contently as everyone ate and talked.
Tetra looked at her round belly curiously. "Can I touch it?" she asked. Sariphi nodded. "Of course. Go ahead." she said. Tetra gently placed her little paws on Sariphi's gravid stomach.
When her mother Calra was pregnant was Calcara, she never had the chance to rub her stomach or listen to her unborn brother inside the womb. Now that she was able to listen to Sariphi's unborn baby inside her womb, it felt weird yet also exciting.
"Sariphi, how does it feel to be pregnant?" Tetra asked curiously. Sariphi let out a sigh. "Well, it's pretty difficult to explain. It feels really strange carrying a new life inside you." she said.
"But it's also exhilarating because I get to meet my child after it's born." Tetra tilted her head. "Really?" she asked. "I wonder how I would feel once I'm married and pregnant." she thought. Then suddenly, Sariphi let out a pained gasp.
Everyone stopped chatting and saw Sariphi clutching her gravid belly and groaning in pain. "Sariphi? What's wrong? Are you alright?!" Amit asked worriedly. "Sari!" Cy and Clops yelled, also feeling concerned.
"Lady Sariphi?" Lantevelt asked with wide eyes. Sariphi didn't respond. She started to pant laboriously before she turned to face her friends. "Sorry, guys." she apologized, trying to manage a smile, even though she was obviously in pain. "My stomach hurts..."
Amit then gasped. If Sariphi was in pain, that could mean only one thing... "Don't tell me...! Are you...?" she asked. As Sariphi tried to respond, there was a sudden loud pop!, and water spilled between Sariphi's legs. Amit gasped. "Sariphi, you're...!!!"
Sariphi groaned before she gasped as a painful contraction coursed through her. Amit immediately stood up. This was it! This was the time! "Sariphi's going into labor! That baby is coming!" she announced.
As soon as she said those words, Cy and Clops immediately started to panic. "WHAT DO WE DO?! WHAT DO WE DO?!" they cried as they ran in circles. Lanteveldt, however, remained calm.
"Calm down, you cannonballs." he said. "We'll get her to her bedchamber." Amit and Lanteveldt quickly but carefully helped Sariphi stand up and guided her towards her bedchamber. The trek was difficult, but they've managed to place Sariphi on her bed.
Amit then quickly summoned the priests and the midwife who was hired to aid Sariphi. Once everyone got into position, the labor process began.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leonhart was sitting on his throne when one of the palace vassals, a cat, quickly approached him. "Your Majesty! I bring urgent news! Lady Sariphi has gone into labor! She's giving birth to her baby right now!" he yelled.
Leonhart's eyes widened and he immediately stood up from his throne as soon as Clops' words reached his ears. He wasted no time as he rushed towards the bedchamber.
"Sariphi...!" he whispered anxiously, silently praying to the gods that she'll be alright.
Meanwhile, Sariphi panted and gasped in pain as she lay on her bed. Her forehead was wet, and her hair was sticky with perspiration as she struggled to push the baby out from her womb. The midwife was tending to her, wiping her forehead with a cold washcloth.
Another contraction shot though Sariphi's body, making her squeal with pain. She had never known that childbirth could be this painful. She had heard some stories about pregnant women going through painful labor, but never thought much about it since she was to be sacrificed.
Now that she was Queen of the Beasts, she's going through that exact moment of labor. And it was more painful than she had ever imagined it would be!
"Ohhhh, it hurts!" Sariphi cried out in pain. "Please hang in there, Sariphi! I'll be over soon!" Amit said, gripping her hand tightly. "You're crowning, Lady Sariphi! I can see the head! Push!" the midwife said. Gathering up reserves of her strength, Sariphi pushed.
Meanwhile, outside the bedchamber door, Lanteveldt leaned against the wall while Cy and Clops paced by the door nervously, listening to Sariphi's cries of pain.
"Oh, I hope she'll be okay! I wish we could help her in some way!" Clops said anxiously. "Help Sari." Cy added worriedly. "Chill out, you guys. Sariphi may not look it, but she's a tough woman." Lanteveldt said. "I'm sure that she'll tough it-"
A loud, shrill, agonized scream coming from the bedchamber quickly cut him off. Cy and Clops grew even more anxious. "SARI!!!" they wailed, fearing the worst.
Then they noticed Leonhart marching down the hallway towards the bedchamber door followed by Anubis. "Your Highness!" Lanteveldt exclaimed before he quickly bowed before Leonhart. "How is Sariphi?" he asked.
Cy and Clops approached him. "Your Majesty! Sariphi is still in labor!" Clops said. Leonhart didn't want to waste another second longer as he headed towards the double doors.
"Sire, wait! You mustn't! Men are forbidden to enter the birthing room!" Anubis said. Behind the bedchamber doors, they could hear Sariphi gasping in pain. "I must tend to Sariphi! I cannot stand idly by while she's in pain!" Leonhart said as he pushed the bedchamber doors open.
As he entered the room, the sound of an infant's wails reached his ears as he stared at the sight before him.
The midwife was carrying a crying white bundle in her arms. Sariphi was lying in bed, her pale face dotted with drops of sweat and panting heavily. "Sariphi!" Leonhart exclaimed as he quickly rushed to her side. "Sari!" Cy and Clops cried as they followed suit.
Sariphi didn't respond to their cries as she was too exhausted to lift her head. Leonhart knelt beside his queen and gently held her hand. "Sariphi?" he asked.
Sariphi wearily opened her eyes. "Leonhart?" she asked. She tried to get up, but she felt too tired to move. Leonhart gently helped her sit up. All the while, the little infant continued to wail. The midwife turned her attention towards Sariphi as she walked over towards the bed.
"Congratulations, Your Highness." the midwife said with a smile as she placed the swaddled infant into Sariphi's outstretched arms. "It's a boy. You have a healthy son."
Sariphi gently removed the blanket, revealing the baby's face. The little baby beast had soft fur as white as clouds, the same color as her hair, a tiny wet pink nose, soft tiny fluffy ears and two tiny little bumps on top of its head. The newborn beast waved its little paws as it wailed.
Sariphi smiled as joyful tears rolled down her cheeks. Her baby son was simply the cutest little thing she had ever seen. A symbol of her and Leonhart's love, a perfect mixture of both her and him.
Sariphi held her newborn son close to her chest. Hearing his mother's heartbeat, the baby beast's wails softened into whimpers. He then reached his tiny paws out to her. Sariphi gently pressed her thumb against her son's little pink paw pads.
Soft and squishy, just like Leonhart's, she thought. Leonhart gazed down at his newborn son with a mixture of curiosity, pride and joy. He could hardly believe it. He was now a father. A father.
Leonhart knelt beside Sariphi and his newborn son. "Isn't he beautiful, Leo?" Sariphi whispered. "Indeed he is. I'm so proud of you, Sariphi." Leonhart replied. He then gently pressed his snout against his son's furry cheek.
Sariphi wanted to squeal at such an adorable sight, but she didn't want to wake her son. As Leonhart looked at his son, the words of the vow he made years ago rang in his mind:
"No matter what predicament my blood places my heirs in, if they are the children of our union, then I swear on my name, Leonhart, to defend them with all my body and soul." And he will see to it that his vow will be fulfilled.
"What should we name him?" Leonhart asked. Sariphi smiled. "I've already thought of it. From now on, our son's name will be Richard." she replied.
"Richard?" Leonhart asked. Sariphi nodded. "Since you've taken Leonhart as your name, we should name our son Richard." she said. "Richard. I think that name suits him." Leonhart said. "Welcome, Richard, our son."

Kuneko from Cassette Beasts could kill Macbeth! She actually applies for all three criteria I think - she (gender clause) is the OC of one of the male characters back when he was a kid (parent clause), brought to life via...some kind of magic about art that I don't fully get but sure as hell isn't being traditionally born.
((You are so lucky I had already gotten to that part of the game before I received this ask otherwise you would have been found dead in Miami by now))
Yes, Kuneko from Cassette Beasts could kill Macbeth!
Tumblr media
Being a childhood OC of Felix's that mysteriously came to life, she applies for all three Clauses!
Thank you for your submission!

What do you think about eggs? I mean...bots are aliens, who says that they have to exclusively give birth like humans do? The idea of a bot struggling to lay a massive egg, knowing its not the only one, does something to me...regardless of if the egg is fertilized or is a dud (kinda like chickens lol).
What about oviposition? A bot laying their eggs into another bot (or person, idk) cause they can't be bothered to lay them themselves or something like that (or maybe as a way of sexy punishing). They would still be a horny menace, with bulging bellies, tits full of milk and a raging need for more fluid lol.
I LOVE EGGS. i have a whole thing worked out and written out about how transformers eggpreg works, down to strange alien practices. i have had many conversations on here about valve ovipositors and egg laying. the hatchlings from the second transformers live action movie are literally what piqued my interest about transformers as a franchise i can potentionally get into. first ever tf fanfic i wrote was about bayverse starscream laying those hatchlings for megatron... i am a freak for eggs.

What's your interpretation that the left hand of cleric beast is much bigger that the right?🤔
Tumblr media
Well, like I've pointed out before, the only explanation I am seeing is blood ministration being done on the left arm!
Tumblr media
However, this might get a little more interesting with the Cleric Beasts, because Emilia is also one, yet her arms are symmetrical!
Tumblr media
My closest guess to why it happened is because of something Healing Church has been known to do with female bodies. Namely - do some sort of surgery/manipulation/operation on them in order to change their blood type into 'holy blood' one, which they are able to share with the hunters!
Tumblr media
English localization team had to use term "groomed" instead of whatever this actually says, and this is definitely going into top 10 of my biggest headaches with mistranslations! As you can see from the Japanese script retranslation ( x ), the meaning is more literal, implying a procedure. I always felt like it would be a surgery on bone marrow, since this is where blood cells are produced, and doctors in Bloodborne could have learned to alter them into having impossible type of blood!
So, as a female cleric, Amelia might have had her first communion with the holy blood as a Blood Saint, instead of generic blood ministration treatment like apparently everyone else has!
I am still not sure why female staff specifically was the Blood Saints, since apparently blood vials are not menstrual blood, as we can learn thanks to Adeline:
Tumblr media
Maybe it could have something to do with menstrual cycle, though, because of the whole cycle of moon vs menstrual cycle thing, and Laurence being affiliated with Moon Presence, and then Micolash also stealing his swag and basing his own institution on:
Tumblr media
I'd say this is either some sort of deeply rooted superstition within the setting, or in fact, yes, the holy blood links to the Great Ones who put HELLA importance on blood and birth, so being biologically female is crucial for that link to take intended effects.
Tumblr media
Ludwig is an interesting case, though! He was SUPPOSED to have blood ministration too, like Laurence or Cleric Beast of the Bridge! Why would not the first Healing Church hunter and the HEAD of their hunters do something so crucial? Especially since Cleric Beast of the Bridge drops the Sword Badge with which you buy Hunter Chief Emblem, implying that this beast is currently what Ludwig used to be? But his left arm is not bigger. In fact, it is even smaller. So I am trying to think of the variants of what had happened here:
1) Ludwig somehow merged with an actual horse, so his anatomy is simply no longer judged through the same lense
2) Ludwig is a leftie, and this is where he holds his Holy Moonlight Sword, so its effect would be a "remedy" for possible arm deformations
3) Ludwig is not a simple beast, but the one with a lot of Kin features, so his anatomy is simply no longer judged through the same lense (+horses are primarily herbivores, and Kin is associated with the flora in the setting, so maybe that's why he went horsegirl mode instead of getting something weak like antlers lol)
4) Ludwig is trans and actually was the first to get Blood Saint treatment rather than regular blood ministration (+we take Adeline's blood from her right arm, and notice that his right arm is a little bigger)
5) Ludwig is a cis man and was the first biological male who attempted to receive Blood Saint treatment instead of regular blood ministration, but that didn't take the intended effect because the gods Be Like That in the setting + his unusual visions and mutation might be the side effect of that and that's why Healing Church stopped doing that with male organisms. Basically, if a male attempts becoming a living factory for the holy blood, it will go "wrong".
6) Combinations of the above points
Tumblr media
.....Okay, that went a little unfocused from the initial topic, but you see my points here! Thank you for the ask!
_________________
Bonus ideas:
- Whereas Ludwig is holding the Holy Moonlight Sword in his left hand, Amelia also is grasping the Gold Pendant in her left hand. So maybe nothing was special about her, but holding a special item in the "effected" hand will remedy the asymmetry effect, and had Amelia not been doing that all the time, she'd be asymmetrical too?
- Amelia using recolored model for Bell-Ringing Woman for her appearance might be not accidental, but a fuel for the headcanon that she has Pthumerian blood too, and Pthumerians might simply evolve differently, or traditionally have different way they' go for the blood communition. Off the top of my head, look at Loran Clerics having same sized arms:
Tumblr media
Basically, I can answer why Cleric Beasts and the huntsmen have asymmetrical arms, but not why people like Emilia and Ludwig broke the trend despite being the first in line to have blood ministration normally... Because I just have too many ideas, and my preference usually falls towards the most logical ones, but when there are equally logical ideas I become helpless :')

It‘s Davout time!
Happy 253th birthday, dear iron marshal! ☺️🇫🇷🥖✨
Louis-Nicolas Davout is known for the devotion and love he had for his wife, Aimée Davout (born Louise-Aimée-Julie Leclerc), so I was interested about their correspondence. To cut a long story short, I started reading their letters (specifically the ones around the Russian campaign because I also wondered how Davout had dealt with this mess of a campaign).
Let‘s say it was simply heartwarming and I was melting away most of the time so how about I share one of my favourite little moments? Shall we? :D Davout‘s desire to have a second son and how he throws all of it away as long as Aimée‘s health is fine:
Versichere deine Mutter meiner innigen Liebe. Alles an dich. L.
English translation: The 12th of December I benefit, my dear Aimée, from the courier/messenger to reassure you about the health of your Louis; she is very good despite the harshness of the season. You will find my handwriting shaking. I swear to you the only reason for that is the cold and I feel more like writing in the fresh air to not miss out the courier/messenger. Desessart leaves for Paris tomorrow, he is fine. Beaupré, despite his age, is going well. Beaumont and both Fayets are just tired. I send a thousand kisses to my excellent Aimée, who is perhaps in pain in the hour I write her: May my Aimée give me a second son! However, if it’s a girl, she is going to be welcomed. I send a thousand caresses to the dear children, who are Louis and our two little ones. Assure your mother about my tenderness. All for you. L.
Just like Napoleon, Davout had a desire to sire sons and - as far as I am concerned - it‘s clear that his enthusiasm for the possibility of having another son is strong. We might say it’s even stronger than for the possibility of having another daughter although he wrote that a daughter would be welcomed. Now, let’s read the next letter he wrote to his wife where he threw all of that away, shall we? :D
English translation: Gumbinnen, the 17th of December I am quite troubled, my dear Aimée, of the long silence to which my circumstances forced me to and of all the worries it caused you, so ingenious of you, to torment yourself without reason. The state you were in on the eve with the birth caused me torment: Never have I felt more the desire to receive your news and I don‘t know when I am going to have the happiness despite the couriers who regularly arrive; but the count Daru, under whose cover your letters came to me, having left for Koenisgsberg, deprives me absolutely of your news. […] In the moment, your health is everything what causes me concern; when I am reassured, I desire to find out about your postpartum period: girl or boy, the child will be welcomed if the health of my Aimée is how I wish. […]
MY HEAAAAART, GAHWD, THEY ARE ADORABLE.

We don't talk enough about the fact Solid Snake sees dead people. Like he is the one who literally sees ghost and feels them in game stories.

Beast in the Woods part 9
Things continued like that for the winter. Wood didnt breed Miller nearly as voraciously as he had me, so I had to assume my own pregnancy meant he wasnt nearly as determined about it. But they did have breeding sessions fairly regularly, the watching of which had me on the verge of cumming every time. They both continued to pleasure me beneath my enormous belly, both fascinated and turned on by the growing size.
By January I was stuck in bed most of the day, every attempt to get on my feet an expedition. Miller helped a lot, and Wood slept in my room to watch over me more closely. I was almost a year and a half pregnant, and I was still growing slowly. It worried me some nights, thinking that our children may just burst out of me one day, but I had no way of knowing and nothing I could do to change it even if I did.
They were moving a lot more, which seemed like a good sign. I finally admitted there had to be at least two, from the way my gravid body moved sometimes. If anyone from town saw such a thing they would easily have screamed like a horror movie victim. But I was mostly used to it, the squirming and kicks roiling my body like a balloon.
One day I finally felt something different, and I realized it was a cramp. I alerted the boys to the fact that I was in labor and they both rushed to me. Miller tried to arrange my room to prepare for it, but Wood clearly had other ideas. He scooped me up and, even as heavy as I had become, carried me outside. I cried at him uselessly, not particularly wanting to give birth in the snow, but he could not be swayed. He carried me out to the nearby stream and laid me gently in the bank. I admit it felt nice for a few minutes, because my whole body was hot and itchy, but soon the cold began seeping in. "Wood! Please. Please I'm begging you to let me go back inside. It's too cold out here, I'll die if I stay long."
He ignored me, curling his warm body against my back to support me. It helped, but not nearly enough. I labored like that for hours, my body clenching and my core temp fluctuating wildly. After what felt like forever, I finally felt my water break, rushed away but the stream. I wished Miller had been able to keep up when Wood hauled me away, but I was alone and scared.
After a few more hours like that, my body shivering and tightening, I finally felt something crown. Wood held my legs back while I pushed his young out of me, too tired and frozen to even cry out. It was a struggle, but eventually I felt something much larger than a human baby leave me.
Wood pulled it out of the river to rest between he and I. It was a tiny miniature of him, no human features at all. It was a little fluffier than he, and didnt have any moss growing in its fur yet, but it had the same dark eyes and strange mouth on it's back. It was about the size of a beagle when unfurled, though narrow and stilty like a baby horse.
I only had a few minutes to admire how cute he was and how impressive it was I carried him inside me before more cramps overtook me. I still had yet to birth his twin, while he galloped around the bank on shaky legs. He was curled up around a nearby tree by the time I finished my second birth, so tired I thought I could sleep and never awake again. Wood lowed at me as he cleaned off his second son, identical to the first. I drifted off, unable to stay awake any longer, as I murmured to Wood, "what should we name them?"
When I woke up I was finally warm again, buried under a wool blanket in my own bed. Miller was talking at me rapid fire as soon as he realised I was conscious, telling me how worried he had been, how Wood had brought me back with the little ones, how cold I had been. I sighed and insisted it didnt matter anymore, it was over.
I felt strange suddenly being empty. I was still sore and swollen over my womb, clearly recovering from the ordeal of birthing two monsters. But I mostly felt okay, my body not really preparing for breast feeding or anything. I asked Wood about it but he just seemed confused.
The twins didnt seem to need that, as that night I watched Wood bring them a deer carcass that they ripped to shreds and devoured in under an hour. Miller and I both shuddered slightly, clearly unnerved at the little piranhas I had birthed, but everything else seemed fine.
Weeks went on like that, the twins following Wood into the forest every night to presumably learn from him, and by day they all slept around the property, bathing in sun and burrowing in snow. By spring I had recovered completely, and the twins had only grown slightly. Wood hadn't touched me since I gave birth, but I didnt know if it was a concern for my health or if he lost interest now that he had his offspring. He did continue breeding Miller at least twice a week, though.
Despite their lack of growth, the twins were clearly gaining smarts at every turn. One would figure out how to open the gate and let all the goats out, and the other burrowed under the porch for a dark place to hide. They were like toddlers, always touching, prodding and knocking over things in order to understand them. Miller and I named them Oak and Elm, which seemed appropriate given their father. We spent very little time around them, and they seemed self sufficient for most things. Wood had been teaching them to hunt on their own, and i often caught them chasing vermin around the compound to snack on.
By summer, Miller and I both had begun returning to town for things. Everyone clearly knew us to be a couple, and we wore it well. It felt good, strangely enough, to have a deep dark secret locked between us that no one could ever know.
Just when I thought maybe everything was finally over, Wood started to breed me again. He hopped from me to Miller and back constantly, and as the pups got older he seemed more willing to spend hours on breeding us.
One day I walked out on the porch to find him deep in Miller, both of them in the throes of cumming. Watching Miller be flushed and exhausted beneath my mate was enough to light my blood on fire, so I shed my own clothes and went to kiss Miller senseless until Wood's knot went down.
As soon as it did I spread my legs for my turn. Wood seemed more than capable of breeding us together, and he immediately went hard. His cum-soaked appendage went into me easily as I pressed flesh to flesh with Miller. We both moaned and gasped and touched each other while Wood bred me, too.
We went on like that all night. It was the hottest thing I had ever experienced, and I chattered enough to make both of my boys feral. "Wood please, give me more of your babies. Give us both pups! Get us both so pregnant we cant move, let me watch Miller fill out so hot and pregnant and full. Please breed us, we're your breeders to use."
True to my begging, Wood did more paired mating sessions after that. We all seemed to enjoy them, Wood because he had multiple breeders to use, and Miller and I enjoyed having a human hand to fill in some touches we didnt get from Wood. I thought we were living in heaven for a while, a beautiful triad relationship fulfilling our needs nicely.
But one night I caught Miller crying in his room. I tried to sooth him but he just kept sobbing. After some pressing he finally admitted he didnt know how to reconcile our happiness at the loss of his brother, how he could let the same thing that murdered his own family breed him. How could he carry the pups of his brother's killer?
I soothed him, rubbing his back. "Dont you see Miller? That's the beauty of it. We dont have any choice. We both belong to Wood and there isn't anything we can do about it. I gave up worrying about any of that long ago. He's never going to let either of us leave. He would hunt us to the ends of the earth if we tried. Choice removed from us, we are really free to do whatever else we want, as long as we're breeders. It's just the way nature is, as much as the old trees in the forest or the changing of the seasons."
I couldnt tell if my speech made him feel better not, but I added, "I doubt you can even carry, anyway. You're still taking T, and have been forever. I struggled to get pregnant for years, and I didnt have anything hindering me at all."
I seemed to have jinxed him, though. Because a few weeks later, Wood was nosing at Miller's womb.

Could the Beast from Over the Garden Wall kill MacBeth? He's pretty consistently referred to with he/him, but he's more of a grim reaper figure or eldritch god than a person, so probably doesn't have a strong idea of gender. He's also a tree and a mythological figure and probably wasn't traditionally "born," plus being debatably a creation of Wirt's psychological conflict like the rest of the Unknown
Considering the fact that we are shown scenes from within the Unknown after Wirt is back in the modern world, I seriously doubt that the whole thing is supposed to have been in his head. For our purposes, we'll be considering that a popular fan-theory and not actually canon, and will continue off of the assumption that the Unknown is an actual place that Wirt and Gregory were transported to.
Now, as for the Beast himself, we don't ever really get any evidence on the nature his origins. We don't know whether he's some sort of primordial entity like you said or if he was once human. Though, considering he is revealed to look like... this:
((Image has been relocated under the cut due not only to it being a major Over the Garden Wall spoilers but also to act as a MASSIVE trypophobia warning))
...I'm inclined to believe this is closer to either a primordial entity or an entity composed of several others, like Frankenstein's Monster. So, while we don't have anything definitive, I'm willing to tentatively classify him underneath the Unconventional Birth Clause and Birth Parent Clause for now.
Thank you for your submission!
