Well even if it WASN'T, I've heard a few sources say that actually September IS bisexual month so I MIGHT be in the clear on that regardless but only a few sources say that so who knows. (But I do find it particularly funny that I almost mistyped that in my tags and it turned out to be a legit thing) I also found different sources saying whether it was the bisexual umbrella that was being celebrated for that week or just the label bisexual so I made sure to include Alya (who is pansexual in my au) just in case. I feel bad that I got Adrien and Marinette cute outfits and Nino is currently sticking to his usual one BUT he is the least fashionable out of all of them so it's fair to assume he'd stick to his normal. The flag was a hassle to draw and color but for now I'm happy with how it turned out.  P1

All bisexuals who read this today our day, Day of visibility of bisexuals.

Many people think that be bisexual is easy, I can choose who love and be in triangle with different genders not problem for you.

But truth is straight and gay people can't really understand you. Your range of attractions to women and men can be different in different parts of your life.

What I try to say is be bisexual may be difficult but I never accept to be someone else. Because it's my way and I appreciate all things I gone through.

I can't believe I forgot what this week is!! It's bi week! Thank you, tumblr, for reminding me!

This is a really long post, feel free to just skip around if you want. I would definitely check out the links/video!

(Before I start talking, yes, I have done research and I will be providing a bunch of great articles about bisexuality.)

IF YOU ARE BISEXUAL AND/OR QUESTIONING, STEP ONE OF REALIZING YOUR SEXUALITY IS AKNOWLEDING THAT YOUR FEELINGS ARE VALID!

I myself have this problem where I invalidate my own fears and insecurities because 'it could be worse' and 'I'm just being dramatic' and 'I should stop being such an attention seeker.'

Biphobia, especially the internalized kind, is VERY real.

NO, dating someone does not suddenly alter your sexuality. If you are a masculine-identifying individual dating a man, but previously identified as bisexual, you are still bisexual during the relationship too!

People will sometimes unknowingly invalidate bisexuality because they do not understand this. If you are an ally or hope to become one, please do some basic research before making assuptions.

I've found that reading books and articles that include bisexual representation are helpful when you feel particularly alone and when you are questioning yourself.

By the way, Bisexuality does not always mean that you only like male and female individuals! If you scroll down, there's more info on that in the article link titled 'bisexual vs pansexual.'

You don't have to be romantically attracted to someone to want a relationship! If you are not aware of the term queer-platonic relationship, a quick google search should clear it up pretty well.

as bi week comes to an end, I wanna make a few more reminders to everyone and all bisexuals reading this.

you are still bisexual if you have a male leaning preference

you are still bisexual if you have a female leaning preference

you are still bisexual if your preference goes outside the binary

you are still bisexual if you don't have a preference

you are still bisexual if you're single

you are still bisexual if you have no desire to date

you are still bisexual if you're in a same sex relationship

you are still bisexual if you're in a different sex relationship

you are still bisexual if you're in a monogamous relationship

you are still bisexual if you're in an open relationship

you do not have to pick a side

you are not "promiscuous" or "confused"

you're not "50% gay" or "50% straight" you're 100% you and 100% bi 200% perfect!

you define what bisexuality looks like for you! Bisexuality is a spectrum and varies for different people. And that's ok!

Lastly,

bisexual people don't need to "pick a side"

bisexual people aren't "confused" or "whores"

bisexual people aren't more likely to "cheat on their partner(s)"

bisexual people more than likely don't wanna be part of your orgy :/

bisexual people aren't "pretending"

bisexual women aren't straight

bisexual men aren't gay
