In season 1 episode 2 of A Discovery of Witches, when Matthew says “I’m craving her” that is truly the most sexually explicit thing that’s ever aired on television

Connie I am LIVING for bat Max this is the cutest thing! (Where do I find one of those to snuggle me!?)
Also, the casual Matthew and Diana vibes? I’m not sure if you did it deliberately or if that’s just where my mind went with the vamp/witch “legend” but I love it!!!!
Okay the Matthew and Diana vibes are accidental they're just INSIDE MY BRAIN.
And it's *that* time of year where I do my annual real-time read of A Discovery of Witches, so they really are just up inside my head and I'm not even mad.
But for right now I'm just gonna go cry about how kind this is and how delighted I am that you're out there seeing extraordinary parallels in this little story right as it's starting to get off the ground. 🧡🧡🧡
Matthew and Diana forever, bitches!

Not me remembering how in the books, Matthew was straight up drugging Diana and then, whilst telling her about that, told her about that time he killed the woman he loved.

Which alters when it alteration finds
VI. “Let me make this good for you,” Matthew said, scoring through another line in the document. Diana found the Montblanc fountain pen rather an affectation as she’d seen him move with furious speed editing on his laptop, but he’d insisted it was important to observe tradition and it was so hard to observe many of the ones he remembered, she had held her tongue.
“I was satisfied with what Philippe had arranged,” she said. Pip was somehow, miraculously, sleeping and Becca was well into her regular three hour afternoon nap and she could think of many other ways to spend the time than renegotiating her marriage contract into a post-nup. If Matthew wasn’t similarly inclined, she had a paper on Bohemian death-rituals and herbology to revise; it would be nice to finish before her deadline, even nicer for the journal she’d promised it to.
“Philippe was generous, yes, but he would have expected this,” Matthew said.
“Expected you to micromanage my dowry?” Diana said. Matthew was squinting at the page and she began to consider making a pot of tea.
“Expected me to make amendments that reflect your needs. What you most properly deserve and require, in the 21stcentury,” Matthew said. “Philippe would have expected me to make sure the principle of the contract was fulfilled in iterations that are appropriate to the time period. He wasn’t a time-walker but someone who lived as long as he did began to approach the same comprehension.”
“As long as you don’t try to finagle that place in Andorra for me,” Diana said. “That’s Verin’s favorite and she’s just beginning to be nice to me.”
“Verin isn’t nice to anyone, mon coeur,” Matthew said, glancing up and giving her the most brilliant smile.
“Well, she’s something and it’s not dismissive and not contempt,” Diana said.
“Relax,” Matthew said and it was odd, sometimes, to hear him speak so colloquially when she could so clearly remember him speaking to the other members of the School of Night, murmuring to her in the night in Occitan. “The place in Andorra isn’t an issue. But he had some holdings in Izmir—”
“Smyrna?” Diana said. “How?”
“The Silk Road,” Matthew said as if that explained everything. It could, once Diana had asked a dozen more questions. At least. Maybe two dozen.
“All right,” she said. “But I want Hamish to take a look before I sign anything.”
“You don’t trust me?” Matthew asked.
“You have been many things, my Mateu, prince, philosopher, spy, scientist, but you haven’t passed the bar in any American state. Nor do you practice in Great Britain though I think a peruke and silk robe would suit you beautifully,” Diana said. “What’s the point of trying to make something better if you won’t get an expert opinion?

2, Who’s the messiest? The cleanest?
Aleksander lives in organized chaos. No-one can understand the mess that is going on in his work area but him, and anyone disturbing it should fear for their lives. Alina, on the other hand, is too used to having few possessions and the orderliness dictated by the orphanage and the army to ever create a mess.
13, Who stays up late? Who sleeps the most? Does the other have to force them to sleep/wake up?
Alina is pretty regular when it comes to sleeping, falling asleep and waking up at normal times, feeling rested--at least once she has recovered form her wasting sickness. Aleksander, on the other hand, has stress-induced bouts of insomnia, makinf him sometimes stay up until the small hours of the night, only to be basically unable to drag himself from bed the next morning.
12, Can they stand silence? Who talks the most? Who talks the least?
They can exists/work in perfect silence, parallel to each other, taking solance in the fact that the other is right there. But beyond that, Diana is definitely more talkative.
4, Oddest place they’d have sex?
I don't know the specifics, but some place with a huge historical-cultural significance, filled with rare works of art (in a bed in which some notable historical figure once slept/was born), which is treated with a dreadful casualty by Matthew.
