If this is how God clothes grass, which is alive in the field today and thrown into the oven tomorrow, how much more will he clothe you. What little trust you have.
In other words, don't strive after what you will eat a d what you will drink; don't be anxious.
Luke 12: 28-29

Frislandic Phonology Addendum: Minimal Pairs -Consonants
Just providing these as the first part of a two-part series accompanying the post on phonology. This is going to be a long one (because establishing minimal pairs is always laborious) so feel free to ignore if you aren't really into this kind of thing. Note I'm not giving minimal pairs for every single possible pair of consonants in the language, only ones that are phonetically similar and thus could reasonably exist in complementary distribution to each other, because in many cases that would restate contrasts that can be derived transitively from the examples given (for example since buol 'acorn' contrasts with muol 'hole' and guol 'kidney', we do not need to also state that guol contrasts with muol to establish a minimal pair between /k/ and /m/).

God is supposed to be like all forgiving or whatevs but like what did that one angel do that was so damning he gets marked as the bad guy for life. Like he becomes satan for what ? Cause he was a rebel? How vague... Like yeah 100 years war and lots of other “justified murdering” on the basis of a religion I might mention claims murder as a sin, that’s forgivable come on up to heaven broski but like an angel disagrees with god and suddenly he evil. Not only that now he’s satan/ the devil and so like he’s a demon and has a horde of demons and I guess also somehow was the serpent in the garden of eden. Which like I guess he persuaded the original sin to happen. But you know who’s fault that was fucking god cause who sent satan down to earth, that so called benevolent fucker. Like maybe if you knew how to handle your own shit fam we wouldn’t be doomed from birth or whatnot. Now I gotta pay repentance for what cause you were bitter? Nah This is my general feelings growing up atheist in a Christian adjacent community. I’m agnostic myself and am currently half asleep so here’s the grain of salt you should take this with:🧂

On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side." Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!" Mark 4:35-41

susie: huh
kris: yeah so its entirely cool in islam to beat the baby manger to shreds. idolatry yknow

To your added addition, the Dragonborn is a legendary hero prophesized to fight the evil of Skyrim, so I think it fits that they’re expected to fight in the war, though no one actually does expect you to in game. It carries on no matter what.
Plus, if you can defeat Alduin, what’s a few ragtag recruits compared to the power of the thu’um?
As for the Imperials, yea I pretty much agree. That’s why I’d side against them even if Ulfric in fact were racist. In Tamriel, it’s pretty much a non sequitur as far as coming to choose who to side with is concerned.
As for the Redguards, yea, that’s the other reason why I’m convinced all of this is overblown. I put together something called the Stormcloak Bivle and one of the chapters outlines why an invasion of Skyrim from Alinor is pretty much doomed to fail. They have more natural barriers than Hammerfell, it’s too far away without a nearby port to base the invasion, they aren’t divided like the Redguards were initially, until now of course, and they’re acclimated to the cold.
See Russia.
Skyrim never had anything to fear from the Dominion. Cyrodiil however with its rolling hills and paved roads all around, does. See Rome.
The Imperials according to the Great War book even had intel that the Thalmor were down to numbers needed to defend their territory and couldn’t keep fighting after the war.
Titus Mede got punked however.
