I'm reading through MTMTE and I think this particular image is important

Without divulging too many spoilers, the whole crew basically has a time limit until facing what is basically a certain death scenario

At this juncture Tailgate and Cyclonus are... sort of close but in that way where Cyclonus won't say jack shit because he doesn't want to burden Tailgate or whatever blablablah

So this is of course a good gesture of reassurance in more ways in one

Then there's Swerve

And Swerve.... rarely ever has anyone to turn to for things like this. He's clearly losing his shit.

And Cyclonus? Is like hey you know what it's cool

I've got your back

We may not be the most buddy buddy but I'm still here for you

And given how Cyclonus is generally pretty standoffish, and how Swerve may be off putting to the others but also has complexes for his complexes on not having anyone who considers him a friend really.... this is really unspeakably important to me that this is the interaction. The creators could easily have had Swerve by himself or half hidden or even that nothing in this composition is changed except Cyclonus is focused entirely on Tailgate.

And they didn't, and I'm glad for that.
