kyle -- reddit. super annoying about it too. is a mod for 2-3 midsize subs where everyone hates him because he takes it far too seriously and is constantly making pinned posts reminding everyone of sub rules. always making snarky comments like “not sure why i’m being downvoted...” that are then in turn downvoted. Bitches to Stan about mod drama who gives it the good ol college try pretending he cares about the power struggle between him and mod u/PoohDonkey420

butters -- split between Pinterest and TikTok. likes a lot of paper craft and seasonal decorating ideas on Pinterest and then makes videos of his attempts to recreate them on TikTok; becomes a minor celebrity subject to many conspiratorial YouTube documentaries about his living situation given how often Stephen interrupts a video to yell at him that butters is not tech savvy enough to cut out in their entirety.

craig -- also 4chan. almost exclusively sticks to /co/ and /mu/ but likes to pop-in to /lgbt/ to remind everyone on board (see: Cartman) that traps are indeed gay.

clyde -- twitter. Gets no engagement whatsoever but is posting all day every day. Is always direct messaging chicks with onlyfans links in bio to see if he can sweet talk them into nudes for free. Never does. cries to Craig about it who then calls him pathetic.

tolkien -- instagram. gym thirst traps and pictures of expensive family vacations. Super into grindset posting about no days off and aspirational graphics, power of positive thinking type shit. falls victim to the charms of hot women hawking tummy tea.

jimmy -- also reddit. master of fake-post-as-creative-writing-exercise posting. Frequents r/TIFU and r/jokes, then cross-posts his r/jokes post into r/standupcomedy to ask “is this anything?” and receives maybe two comments, three if it’s a good day. is the “you sir win the internet have my upvote” guy.

tweek -- tiktok, but it's a love-hate relationship. the never-ending stream of short videos is the perfect time-wasting relaxation pit due to his severe ADHD but induces extreme paranoia about what exactly the algorithm *does*. never posts, just favorites funny and/or cute videos to show craig later; Craig laughs at maybe every fifth one.

Hey there. Hoping you're doing well. This is gonna sound random but I need a reason to watch He's coming to Me. I was looking at a list of all gmmtv shows and I've seen them all, except He's coming to me. And the weird thing is I don't have a reason. I adore Ohm, i don't particularly like Singto but that has never stopped me before. I have no problem with paranormal bl or sadness in bl. But for some reason every time I think I'm gonna watch it, I don't. I don't know if this has ever happen to anyone else but every once in a while this happens to me with a show or a film, like there's nothing wrong with it but I can't press play. And I have no idea why. I was hoping for some motivation I guess, just cause I'm a completionist and it's nagging me that I only have that one show left. Anyway, I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. It has color-coded boys in love. <- The reason I showed up

Med/Mes is a stable, loyal, and intelligent Blue Boy who is happy (yellow) even in death. Thun is a Red Rascal who is spontaneous, energetic, and passionate. The love was always there, but seeing the color exchange always brings a smile to my face.

It's only eight episodes, and they are FREE!

Think of this as an eight-hour workday. Eat some breakfast, clock in to YouTube, watch five episodes (because after episode 5 is the PERFECT place to pause a la Bad Buddy), eat lunch, come back, watch the final three episodes, then clock out.

I know nobody wants to think of watching shows as work, but sometimes it helps to see the finish line at the end of day. Structure aids in productivity. And free is my favorite kind of watching experience, so it makes it even better.

The rooftop scene needs to be shown respect.

The team behind it are elite professionals.

Aof, the director and an out gay man, has given us EVERYTHING! Bad Buddy, A Tale of Thousand Stars, Moonlight Chicken, and so much more. Rath, the cinematographer, has served us beautiful visuals every single time in Never Let Me Go, Dark Blue Kiss, and countless others. The screenwriter, Title, gave us the MaxTul vehicle MANNER OF DEATH. Imagine the Powerpuff Girls, but with film making. THAT'S the level of power behind this show.

The cast is stacked.

You already mentioned Singto and Ohm whose backs must hurt from carry the plot of so many shows on their shoulders, but the rest of the cast is A+ as well.

Sing and Chimon play the best friends, and they are the very BEST best friends. Sing has given us Todd(Black), and Chimon is about to embrace his sugar baby-ness in the upcoming Dangerous Romance. If they can stand next to THE Gun and the Perth, while holding their own, they deserve some recognition.

The supporting cast could beat every other supporting cast in a fist fight without breaking a sweat. We have Gunsmiles (who is no longer on the GMMTV's roster, sad times) who played in one of the best plots in 3 Will Be Free. We have Ampere who plays the office ally in GAP and La Pluie. Then we have Jum who only knows how to play the kindest mother from GAP, The Eclipse, and the upcoming Last Twilight. The twins, AJ and JJ show up, as well as Love who riled up enough people with her performance in Bad Buddy to get her own GL show!

Finally, we have the main ladies! Gigie makes you feel bad that this is a BL, so she won't get the guy, but that's because she is such a good character! Then there is Sine. I won't write much about her because I'm in love with her. I can't be rational about her. She never misses, and as a vegetarian, I would eat meat if she told me to. I. Love. Her.

The plot carries.

We all know shows that drag out the main plot for far too long. This show isn't one. It understands the assignment, and has a genuine plot beyond two boys falling in love. It also has twists and turns throughout that make sense to the original plot. Nothing seems disconnected, and everything seems logical in a show about ghosts.

The love is real.

For only eight episodes, in which one is mainly about a CHILD seeing ghosts, the way the love unfolds between the two leads is realistic. It is odd to see them first encounter each other when Thun is a kid, and Med is already a dead adult, but the way they come together as adults is touching.

The conflicts are believable.

Because of the way Med and Thun meet, and the overall plot, the conflicts are believable. They aren't just having issues because they don't want to communicate, or because it's the second to last episode. NO! One is a ghost who had his entire life ended, and the other is a young adult trying to figure out his life. The hesitation, the separation, and the conflicts in between are plausible.

The coming out SCENES are top tier.

If there is only one reason to watch this show, this is it! I don't need BLs to have a coming-out scene. Ever. If all of these shows existed in a magical bubble where being gay is the norm, I'd love it, but something about how Thun comes out in several ways, first to himself, then to his friends, and finally to his mom are all handled in the most endearing ways. These scenes healed my soul long before Be Loved in House: I Do hit me with its coming-out scene.

It has a happy ending.

Not only does it have a happy ending, but it has several happy resolutions for all the plots. It makes sure to wrap up the narrative while giving a little extra that completes the stories without feeling rushed or random.

Now that I've given you all these reasons, I hope you find it in yourself to finish the series. I know the first episode is rough to make it through, but once you get to the second half of episode 2, it should be smooth sailing.

As for me, I need to go write up He's Coming to Me (in Colors) post.

What did I think of the book?

The Ivies by Alexa Donne My rating: ⭐ 1 of 5 stars (1.5 really) *Disclaimer: Spoilers.* So far, my experience with author youtubers who give advice on writing hasn't been great. The advice is usually solid, and in Alexa Donne's case, I found many of her videos really helpful for figuring out what was wrong with my own writing practices. However, I'm starting to realize why best selling authors with strong prose, plot, and characters, tend to NOT be youtubers. Author youtubers seem to excel at teaching, and giving information, but their actual writing doesn't tend to reflect their apparent knowledge (speaking from my own experiences). So, here lands The Ivies. This is the first of Alex Donne's work that I've read, and I'm totally confused. Despite the fact that the book had me finishing it in two days, rapidly going through page after page on the edge of my seat with it's insane rabbit hole; it left me feeling that the story just wasn't finished. I don't mean "finished" as in, there needs to be a second book; I mean, in the end, no one really solved anything, and there was no closure on the murder. No one changed or grew or improved, if anything, the characters just became even more unhinged as the book went on until it lead to a deflating reveal of the actual killer with a horrifically ridiculous motive. The story was drowned in red herrings and misleads to the point of suffocating the fun out of the book. They were so frequent, and so many that it became downright frustrating and exhausting to read. There were more loose ends that were never tied up than a torn knitted jumper. The "false" reveal was a lot more tense and interesting to read, and the book honestly could have cut out the entirety of act 3 for me, and skipped to the end. The pacing was good in the first half of the book, but suffered in the second half, and dragged on. By the end, I began to suspect Olivia, the MC. Maybe this wasn't the intention, but her choices at the end of the book made me seriously consider if I just got mind-fucked by what she was narrating to herself for the entire story, and she really was the killer all along. Might explain why she never got anywhere in her "investigation" or withholding information from authority for her so-called friends, and we're just being lied to as the readers (she did, after all, have access to everything apparently). While the writing style was easy to get into, it had one issue: Too. Much. Telling. (and swearing…). At the end of almost every chapter, whatever big revelation occurred in the chapter is just told to you in black and white, rather than letting you ride the wave of the realization in your own head. Much of the natural tension of having the realizations on my own as the reader were completely lost, and ruined every tension bubble attempted to be created. It worked great for the end of the first chapter, but it just didn't for the rest. The same can be said for all the schemes the Ivies apparently did. We're just told they happened, but we never get to see these girls actually in action from their PoV. Favorite character/s: Well, not many of the characters are "likeable". It's almost laughable how unlikeable the characters are to the point of 'okay, I kind of hate you all, but I want to know how far the rabbit hole goes, so…'. What drew me to the book? I wanted a thriller to study that wouldn't give me nightmares, and finally check out Alexa Donne's work. Stars: 1.5/5, pretty interesting concept, but too many problems with the execution of it. We all love the hits “mine”, “freakum dress”, “jealous” — they’ve all made it into our top songs this year, released by none other than rising singer Amara Imani. But who is the singer actually and why do we adore her so much?

Amara Imani Éwandé is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter and dancer. Nicknames as “Princess of Pop& RnB”, she has been gaining fame quickly, rising with rapidity to the top of the music industry. 

Imani started her career on a feature on the single “Brown Skin Girl” for Beyoncé’s Lion King Album when she was 20 years old. The latter had often praised the girl, saying “Imani reminded her of her young self”. Before that, the Cameroonian singer used to upload various covers of songs like “halo”, “saving all my love” and “just the way you are”. For a short time, the singer had joined a band but their hiatus after a year saw the chance for her own chance in the music industry. 

𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐑:

Amara Imani Éwandé was born on October 7, 1999 in Douala. Cameroon to a Nigerian mom and Cameroonian dad. At the age of seven, she moved to London, UK as her dad got a job as Ingenieur there. Imani competed from a young age on in art competition, primarily in dancing, winning a lot of trophies. 

So how exactly did our queen switch to pop? And what makes her so special for us, so important that we go whenever she drops a single?

Imani launched her singing career at the age of 15 after sustaining a fatal injury to her knee that stopped the development of her dancing career. The singer had often said that dancing had been her career and she had only started singing as a side hobby. Imani gained her fame and platform in 2016, when she began posting videos of herself singing covers of popular songs on YouTube after her music group disbanded. In 2018 she gained the attention of Beyoncé, who had mentioned her account in an interview, praising the young girl. Her singing career took off from then on. 

The singer was approached by several record labels but refused any offers, preferring to keep her career low for the beginning. She resurfaced in the music industry a year later in 2019, when she partnered with Beyoncé and Wizkid on the song “Brown Skin Girl” for Beyoncé’s Lion King Album. After that, she signed under the record label Universal Music Group. 

After the success of Brown Skin Girl, Imani gained presence in the music industry world wide. She then began working on her first single followed by her first album. The popular song “Motivation” was her first release, topping the charts for a few weeks. Imani had said after the announcement of her first single “my music will be a mix of pop and R&B because this is what I grew up with. I’m trying to create new things with the two genres.”

“Slow Motion” counts as her second release with singer AMARIA BB as feature. Even though the song went 

But let’s just sway away from the facts and focus on her influence. With the appearance of Amara Imani, many doors of new genre mixes were opened. Who would have thought that pop and R&B went together. We have danced to Taylor Swift with her beautiful pop songs and sung our hearts out to Beyoncé’s iconic R&B ballads but we have never seen both in one. It was only a question of time that the young singer was given the name of “our next Bey”. With the release of her first album, Imani was able to break some of the records the Beyoncés had broken. the album “This is her” managed to stay in the top 10 of the charts for more than 25 weeks, a new record for rookie artists in the music business. 

And songs like “diva” or freakum dress” proved Imani’s point what she was trying to achieve in the music world. 

And let’s not forget her success off-stage. Especially in her romantic life, Imani was responsible for some big headlines after getting cozy with millionaire heir Evan Henderson. The latter had already expressed his interest in her music and often praised the girl, we quote “I love her music, she just gets it and manages to reinvent music. Definitely my favourite artist.”

The pair officially met at the launch of the new beauty collection of Sephora in 2021, one of the first events after the long quarantine. Till today, the couple is going strong but went through many on-off phases between summer and winter 2022. Close sources say, wedding bells are ringing and he is planning on popping the question. Our next Jay-Z and Beyoncé? We can confirm at least that we have found our next rising Queen B.

Already That Girl: New Healthy Habits I've Adopted

I thought I’d share my latest habits so that it may hopefully inspire others as well.

Starting with the Scorpio Full Moon from 15/05/2022, I decided to challenge myself every day with new habits and routines that propell me in the direction of my goals, but also improve my wellbeing and mental health (we’re all about the holistic glow up here, ladies).

1. Matcha latte

I started drinking matcha daily, along with lemon water. I already drink black tea for the energy kick (or green if I don’t need extra energy) every morning instead of coffee, along with a glass of water. I tried matcha latte after being curiously spurred by all that girl reels on IG and honestly, I fell in love with it. I don’t resonate with running with the crowd for trends, but matcha is a good one. It has amazing benefits for your health, tastes great, and it’s also green.

2. Daily greens

Adding a big, nutritious salad to my lunch every day. Packed with goodies and topped with my favorite dressing: tahini + lemon. If you haven’t tried this combo, and want to incorporate more salads into your diet, you should definitely give it a taste.

3. Going to the gym with a trainer

Hiring a personal trainer and going to the gym 2-3 times a week has been a longtime aspiration of mine.

I have wanted to make going to the gym part of my lifestyle for a few years now, but after several failed attempts, I realized it had to be my way in order to be sustainable long term. I have high standards and expect quality for any service I go for, and as such have not been satisfied with the trainers I’ve worked with in the past (I can write a separate post on that if anyone is interested). Even so, I refused to give up!

I kept switching trainers until I finally found the perfect one for me, and I’m so happy I did. I know myself well enough that I do need a mentor to guide me. Worrying about researching posture, anatomy, movements, what to eat or how to formulate my workout plan, was not the way to go for me. I prefer an expert to do it for me, and all I have to do is show up and get the exercises done, so I can spend the rest of my time & energy on my other goals. Besides, having a mentor waiting for you at the gym, who motivates and uplifts you, makes a huge difference in creating consistency & good habits when you’re right at the beginning!

4. Jogging, long walks

Doing cardio (jogging, jump rope, long walks) at least once a week. I have found that cardio, particularly jogging, does wonders for my body and my mental health. It boosts mental clarity, alleviates anxiety, clears my head. That boost of endorphins is better than anything you can do in the four walls of the house, there’s only so much you can journal, blog or paint your way out of negative thought patterns.

I’m a nocturnal animal, so I knew that integrating jogging into my routine would not be sustainable long-term if I forced myself to do it in the morning. (Scheduling it for the evening when I don’t need to slather myself in SPF50 is also an appreciated perk.)

I’ve also been making it a focus to add yoga and stretching into my routine – daily if possible, but especially after strenuous workouts.

5. Leveling up my skincare

Using sunscreen, Vitamin C serum and retinol in my skincare regimen consistently. Vitamin C is a new one, but I’m enjoying La Roche Posay’s Vit C10 serum so far, after seeing it recommended by every dermatologist on Youtube.

6. More homemade food

Less takeout, more homemade food. Cooking is not a favorite pastime, but I love wholesome, home-cooked food made with love – it does have a different energy than when you just order in. I’ve been enjoying baking bread, looking up vegan recipes and just creating meals from scratch.

7. Rescheduling negative thoughts

Any negative thoughts after 9 PM are postponed until next day. No use stressing over things you can’t do anything about, and which may be caused simply by fatigue! All you need is some chamomille tea, a hot shower, and a good night sleep. Tackle tomorrow’s worries tomorrow.

Life themes: yours and mine.

🌸For anyone who resonates

I was watching a youtube channel of a woman who posts her life. It reminded me of my teenage years and early 20s years when I was too naive and careless like her. I would make drawings, cards, record songs and really dedicate myself to people I cared for. I would not think consciously of what I was doing and just followed my heart. Somehow when I got at a low point in life, I felt like I was depressed and started living my childhood again. I would tell my childhood stories and venting as a joke but later i realized that it was no jokes it was serious trauma. Then began a long journey of internet research and contemplation on human psychology and mental illnesses. Obviously, now my perspective was changed. I started looking for underlying faces, ulterior motives, signs of manipulation and really take lies seriously.

But somewhere in my heart was a bitterness "why me?" If other women can do the same things as me but flourish, have smooth lives and socialize, then why was I bumping into detours and psychological pain? For eg, some woman can post picture of her award on social media and be proud of it. But if i do it, i would feel intense regret and shame "what if i am imposter?" "I am so entitled and narcissistic" "i am just lucky, my good karma will run out then I will face failures" "There are so many girls who worked harder than me but did not get award" and so on. A cycle of self destructive thoughts and not under my control either.

Later, I read that it was my unconscious telling me I was on the wrong path, one that was not determined for me. What we see in other people's life is not necessarily meant to work for us either. Other people do have softer life paths and imitating them will do you no good, if your life has been darker than average. Life is not black and white, some days are really nice, some memories are really nice but if you think that the downsides outweigh the upaides then it is time to rethink if you are making some mistakes, that is if you are walking the path not meant for you? Simple example, some person can do love marriage all fine, but you keep getting into heart breaks, does this mean you need to go by arranged marriage route? Or, some people can succeed in business all fine but you seem to make losses, does this mean you need to go by job route? Or, some people can eat carbohydrates all fine but you seem to get sick from too much carbs?

I make a list of all the things I did in past and whether they were mistake ❌ or correct ✅? If they worked out correct for me then that is meant for my life theme but if it was mistake for me then I would not do it again. One more thing is to use tarot to ask question and write down cards that come up then in future reflect if this decision was mistake ❌ or correct ✅ for you? Eliminate mistakes and repeat correct decisions. This strategy is same as told in many self help books.

Basically, individual life theme differs between people. You are not living the life I live, although we both are interested in astrology. It might take some practice to figure out life theme but I think it can help some people who are prone to chaotic decisions making.

i'm getting spoilers left and right on youtube for this, and it does look good, so might as well watch it.

oh, the hero of old is female. neat. also seeming equal opportunity female and male nights. cool.

oh, i mean i saw the mechanical prostatic, but the setting is different from what i expected. full on medieval but also tech i'd expect in cyberpunk. the houses are stereotypical medieval, but with neon and large screens. i fucking adore it.

oh, and the death of knight having to come from noble lines (so semi more accurate to how they started).

also the dress is amazing. evoking medieval or even armour feel, but made with modern cloth.

omg it's gay and i love it.

really interesting that one of the main characters is the knight in black. it's a trope that those are the evil ones. fun fact: that's rooted in "fuck the poor". painting your armour was a way of protecting it from things like rust. black paint was cheap to make. so saying someone wore black armour could be pointing out they had little coin to go around, that they were poor or had fallen on hard time. potentially seen as not worthy of being a knight. putting the poor, not noble, knight in black armour is thus carrying a lot of deeper rooted baggage. very cool. (look at me having some actual insight for once!)

wow, that was one damn strong scene. nice, oh... au, oh nevermind yay, ah fuck.

damn, did he remove more of his arm? in the scene it looked like it was cut mid upper arm, but here he attacked it starting at the shoulder. i also questioned how one would be able to cut trough armour and arm just like that, but probably with super swords. then again why don't they also have super armour?

oh, he doesn't have a sword... yea, makes sense with his past.

this world is just so neat and weird in the best way. tower as part of a wall, next to a bit of a junkyard. it's such a weird and awesome combination.

1. What’s your favorite sims death? I personally never experienced this death while playing but the "running with scissors" death in the Sims 2 is hilarious and also disturbing lmao.

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I always use Maxis Match for hair but the rest is more Maxis Mix.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Never have and don't plan to do so in the future!

4. Do you use move objects? I'm not a builder but as soon as I change to buy/build mode move objects needs to be activated lmao

5. Favorite mod? Probably MCCC but I also love Wicked Whims/Wonderful Whims. For CAS the more CAS Colums mod is nice. I also enjoy the Realistic Childbirth Mod a lot!
