I Don't Want Sympathetic Villains

I've always liked Selene Gallio AKA The Black Queen of the Hellfire Club and one of the reasons aside from her impeccable taste in attire is that she is irredeemably awful.

There is no back story to make readers sympathize with her or leave room for her justification of being so vile. She's literally just a vile creature.

While characters like Mystique, Spiral, Madelyne Pryor, and even Sabretooth have back story that tells you about the traumas they faced, which turned them into monster. Selene on the other hand was simply born a monster.

I don't always want some backstory that tries to make me sympathize with an antagonist.

Also being a fan of an awful fictional (emphasis on FICTIONAL) character is not a reflection of the fan/consumer. I can like a vile character for plot purposes and despise them if they were ever to become real life individual.

Please more characters like Selene and Sauron.

Black Sails -Percy Jackson AU

Watching the PJO series made me think about Flint being a son of Poseidon and then I thought more :)

Flint- son of Poseidon, god of the sea (obviously he looks just like him lol )

Evidence: controls the weather, can parallel park a boat, horse girl energy, summons sharks on command

Silver- son of Apollo, god of prophecy, music, the sun, healing, head of the Muses

Evidence: accidental prophet (what he says comes true), silver-tongue story telling, healing (survived amputation without getting terrible infection), bisexual coded

Anne- daughter of Ares, god of war

Evidence: violence, knife first ask questions later, red hair, always wears head protections (hat)

Max- daughter of / follower of Hestia, goddess of the hearth, home and family

Evidence: obsessed with creating a home, ultimate goal is to build a stable place and hearth, ends up giving up the governorship to sit by the hearth (just as Hestia did with her Olympic throne)

Eleanor- daughter of Selene, personification of the moon

Evidence: just as Selene loved the sleeping Endymion who could never love her back, everyone in Eleanor’s life could never love her in the way she needed/wanted to be loved. Always inconstant as the moon
