I have one trope that I really enjoy : whumper and whumpee being on the same team, with the whumping happening in secret, maybe as a form of blackmailing.

The gut-wretching rollercoaster of Whumpee being threatened with worse things if they ever tell anyone of the beatings they endure; the team member closest to them noticing that they've been under the weather recently; the shock and disbelief when everyone on the team learns of Whumper's true colors, and... listen... the potential betrayal when some people on the team side with Whumper, because Whumper is a master at portraying themselves as charismatic and benevolent.

ohohohoho anon you are ONTO something.

whumpee's a bit of the team runt. beneficial to the group, yes, but maybe a bit rude, or a little shy, or in some way less than perfect to the team. whumper however has everything and more, never lies, perfect.

whumpee tries to tell anyone what's going on behind the scenes, but a handful of well-placed seeds of doubt from whumper and suddenly whumpee is the bad guy, useless, unnecessary, a liar. maybe even they're kicked from the team for hurting whumper's reputation like that.

and finally, their true colors come to light, and... oh dear, whumpee is never going to trust their team ever again, will they?

🕊 hey, 21F adv.lit–novella discord writer here who is looking to reignite her love for collaborative writing by engaging in a dark romance rp full of intense drama, sizzling emotions, and electrifying chemistry. i'm a little out of practice, but i can write multiple discord messages worth of content, hitting up to 2–6+ messages as an experienced novella writer. though, i'm also university student with a job, so i do reply at a relaxed pace (once or twice per week-ish), but i'm decently quick with OOC and employ a very lax reply policy for my partners (meaning you can do you with no worries). i will happily engage in lots of headcanoning, sharing aesthetics, tiktoks, ideas, and planning for rps, and i love to get that same enthusiasm in return !! don't be dry, contribute, and we'll get on well !! i can send pages of headcanons, and i will screech over our ocs, so let's fangirl together !!

an added note is that complex, imperfect, twisted, and flawed ocs are my bread and butter, and darker/villainous characters will always have my heart. so this is a love letter to all of y'all with a preference for writing well-developed, fucked-up ocs, your darlings have a safe haven with me. seriously, all my girlies are very far from cliche, and they're often decently messed-up, so i love it when i feel love&worry for your ocs cuz that's how you'll feel about my crazy darlings. i'm fine with dead-dove & darker themes (my only hard no is big age-gaps, ED's and incest, all other dark themes are welcome), other specifics like limits/kinks/rules can be discussed in dms.

idea-wise, i recently created twin sister ocs with a very interesting backstory, tons of darkness, and a codependent enmity. i'd love to write them within something akin to a mumu-esque rp– as in, writing two storylines within a shared timeframe/plot, two romances that are entwined, four characters that will overlap into each others lives and become tightly knit as either a 'found family' or 'clashing enemies'. so, it's like this: characters a/b and c/d may be our romantic pairings, but a/c are sister's with a complex set of issues to work through while b/d could be brother's, friends, rivals, etc (i'll leave that up to you, but i'd love if your two ocs also have a history) and we can have moments where their plotlines overlap where a/d might have a friendship moment, b/c may have a enmity storyline, while still writing a/b and c/d as main pairings.

note: a little cliche, but as of now, i am someone who prefers playing F roles within the MxF pairing, and also prefers to write with other F/nb writers (mdni).

themes i'm interested in: old money with criminal entanglements, different flavours of fucked-up characters, morally-questionable actions, rich kids gone wild, dark academia in university/high society, power imbalances, blackmail, old money vs new money, music/art scene (kpop vibes, rock scene, industry harshness, scandals) contrasted with corporate/business. my ocs will be east asian so kdrama/cdrama vibes are also welcome. dark romance is a must.

hello & welcome to our first official plot drop of the new year ! this is quite different from our previous layout but we hope that everyone will find it to be interactive & enjoyable. this plot drop is largely up to writer involvement & was constructed by our writers' suggestions, but we would also find it incredibly helpful to have new members or current members who are considering captive audience & empty eyes, & would be willing to write additional sets for them ! all that said, the outcome of all events will be driven by writer choice entirely & the aftermath of each set is entirely up to you ! there will be no follow-up written by ourselves. did your muse make it the talk of the town ... or did they bury their secrets & bury them deep ??

our goal is to involve new people in the group as much as possible. because of the nature of this plot drop, we're looking for roles filling the captive audience & the empty eyes. please consider applying so we can get you involved as much as possible !

THE INFORMATION OF THE PLOT DROP ARE AS FOLLOWS :

we ask you refrain from controlling the NPCs themselves other than what is established, unless we've given you permission. we'll instruct accordingly on how they'll react. but for the sake of thread momentum, you have creative liberty after making both choices.

muses were not randomly selected this time & injuries are based upon the choices made. our focal point was miroirs as requested by our writers, & our personal choice was "unlikely pairings" & following up on some plotlines that were set up at various points throughout 2023. in future plot drops, we'll be attempting to focus on muses who have largely been reactive & don't have designated roles.

as always, feel free to ask us kindly for adjustments to these scenarios if you feel the starting points given aren't accurate to your characterization, but we tried to make them as light as possible.

we did not select muses who were included in the january plot update we had rolled out, as not many have given focus to that in regards to their own muses involved yet. we want to see you progress before we give additional plotlines. please try not to forget them !

SET 1 ... CYREK & MIRAI.

POV: YOU WAKE UP IN A DARK ROOM : bones ache for reprieve as mirai wakes up on a cold table. the last thing she remembers is being clubbed over the back of the head. as she sits up and takes stock of her surroundings, cylindrical tubes filled with neon green & blue liquid illuminate the darkness of the room, some accompanying the silhouettes of missing persons illustrated on the moldy papers plastered outside payphone booths. it's quiet — an unnerving silence of the unknown — though she expects a huntsman to appear.as she searches the dark for an exit and pries open a door, it creaks and scrapes against the floor. a hand latches onto her arm & reels her back in, as cyrek indicates for her to be quiet.

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) mirai lets out a scream & the door slams shut on them & a minute passes before a strange mist begins to pool from underneath. the pair begin to feel dizzy from the effects of the smoke and become acutely aware they will have a limited amount of time for escape, or B ) the pair stay quiet & are able to proceed down the long corridor when a pair of nightcrawlers scurry past, deeper into the facility and passing by several rooms with similar tubes.

SET 2 ... KAEL, SEBASTIAN & MARISOL.

GHOSTS & GRAVEROBBERS : the light of marisol's flashlight shines upon the sight of a pair of individuals hacking away at the permafrost to dig up a grave. red-handed, the two members of the bastards gang are prepared to spin a story for their presence in the graveyard when they are all distracted by the sound of frantic digging. a turn of the head zeroes in on a humanoid figure pulling out chunks of the ground from marisol's brother's grave by hand, seemingly careless of the cold & unbothered to pull out chunks of hardened permafrost. as if it's looking for something ... the figure notices it's being watched and their eyes meet. BIGGLESWORTH BANDIT THE OUTLAW is distinguishable from its head & hat, & as the three look on, the outlaw animatronic draws its gun.

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) kael moves to push marisol out of the way of incoming bullets while sebastian ducks down in the open grave and bigglesworth escapes by running away into the wintry forest surrounding the graveyard, or B ) sebastian charges at the outlaw while kael draws his own weapon & marisol drops to the ground from their wound, moaning in pain. CHOISE SELECTED: B.

SET TWO CHOICES : A ) the bandit, indestructible to bullets with a metal exoskeleton, grabs a charging sebastian, & the metal talons of its fingers leave deep gouges in the enforcer's arm but a warning shot from kael startles it enough to release him before it can break his arm & bigglesworth escapes into the treeline, or B ) sebastian manages to tackle bigglesworth the bandit to the ground & they are locked in a tussle while bigglesworth locks its metallic hands around the enforcer's throat. in the altercation, sebastian is thrown into the half-dug up grave and into the open casket of kurt adler, & discovers there is no body. kael must tournequet marisol's wounds before attending to sebastian. CHOICE SELECTED: B.

SET 3 ... BRONX & KARAM.

CABIN IN THE WOODS : the rustic door of the dilapidated cabin is pried open as bronx responds to a favor by their former alliance. unbeknownst of karam's presence lurking within the cabin to revisit ghosts of his own past, they aren't immediately met with an intrusion as they rummage through the seemingly empty cabin for a trapdoor in the floor. yet, sights of bloodied weapons meet them instead. the lack of rust indicates that they are all brand-new, meaning something more than meets the eye may have been happening in the cabin. as bronx inspects them — a seemingly dysfunctional bow, amongst a few, activates itself and releases an arrow in their direction. minutes later, a gun shoots on its own not too far away from them but misses, giving an impression that someone might have indeed set up a perfect, seamlessly calculated trap, or those weapons are activated manually from a distance. or perhaps, something less humane might be at play.

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) the crossbow arrow hits karam's shoulder, causing him to bleed and for them to seek out for medical supplies. this might cause their movements to slow down, while all the other weapons begin to activate, or B ) both manage to avoid all the weapons successfully, finding that someone has indeed planted those - whom, however, remains unknown. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

SET TWO CHOICES : A ) the pair attempt to crawl along the floor in search of medical supplies, avoiding the weaponry firing around the inside of the cabin & are able to reach an empty room where an aid kit is stashed in the fireplace. bronx must remove the arrow sticking out of karam's arm, which reads property of Lieseil INC. on the side, or B ) the floor caves in beneath them from the thundering impact of arrows firing all around, & the pair are plunged into the darkness of the tunnels beneath them, discovered to be another section of the forgotten terminal deep within these woods. when bronx produces a light to get a look at their surroundings & search for a way out, as well as cauterize the other's wound, they discover the remains of two human skulls beneath their feet. CHOICE SELECTED: B.

SET 4 ... ANNISA & LEONARDO.

NURSE ? NURSE ! : leonardo has been asked by a co-worker to go down to the morgue after his shift & retrieve something for a coworker. as he approaches the door to the morgue in the basement of the hospital, he hears what seems like an eerie humming of a song beyond the thick double-doors. pushing them open, he discovers what appears to be annisa adler from the back, sitting on the autopsy table. she is sopping wet from head to toe, running her fingers through her hair. leonardo calls out to her & she turns her head robotically, but still, he cannot see her face. as he starts to approach, the real ara barges in a few steps behind him.

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) copy annisa turns around to reveal a jawless face, hung open with fangs protruding. copy annisa goes to attack the two of them & if she manages to catch one, they will end up with long scratch marks on their skin, or B ) the copy annisa goes to attack them but is subdued by one of the two — knocked out, they realize that the jawless display is hand-made, & that she is normal-looking, begging the question if that was only a prank or something more. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

SET TWO CHOICES : A ) annisa attempts to strike the copy of herself with a discarded scalpel. however, the scalpel is not driven with enough force to cause substantial damage to the miroir & it throws her to the ground. if not for leonardo's quick thinking to find a sturdy material & hit the copy over the head, annisa has a close call with death thanks to the clone's failed attempt to rip her throat out. the clone is knocked unconscious & the blow to the head causes a metallic plate to fall off its face, revealing wires inside, or B ) the copy & annisa are locked into a full blown attack as the copy deflects her initial blow. to draw the copy annisa away from an injured leonardo, annisa drives the scalpel she found into the copy's shoulder and runs out of the morgue, causing the copy to chase after her. she runs into the stairwell & ascends several flights before the copy catches her. when it does, in a struggle, she pushes the copy over the railing. it attempts to take her along with it, leaving her arm fractured. leonardo is able to locate her & tend to her broken arm. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

SET 5 ... BRYN & BAMBI.

NEW BEST FRIEND : cordiality comes easy to cardinal serpents after years of rigorous training, & an assignment weighs heavy in bambi's pocket. one evening, sitting on a park bench just outside pinnella pass, she calls out to bryn as they walk by. though they don't explain how they know bryn's name, bambi explains that they're new to town & asks if bryn would show them around & come back to their RV to help with a repair, turned around by signs covered in snow thanks to the brutal winter. there is something eerie about the encounter, almost a stroke of deja vu, out of reach. it's an off-putting first encounter to discover that someone knows your name outside of the woods that have been a point of contention, but stranger things have happened in anchorage ... right ?

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) bambi tries to construct a story of meeting bryn in the past before bryn moved to anchorage, somewhere along their travels & that they feel safe seeing a friendly face, or B ) bambi claims to know bryn through members of the roller derby team & they are impressed to find someone who shares alike views to their perception of anchorage. ( + additional choice: whether bryn rejects or accepts to help for either option given. ) CHOICE SELECTED : A.

SET TWO CHOICES : A ) bambi strikes up a game of twenty questions as they leave to head toward the trailer park together. they decide to take a shortcut away from pinnella pass & into the woods together, & bryn complains that they begin to hear the sounds of footsteps following them through the trees. the bad weather overhead breaks as it begins to sleet, & the pair retreat into a cabin for cover ( note: it is the cabin from set 3 ), or B ) they decide to walk along the roadway of pinnella pass to reach their destination & bambi strikes up a conversation about what they think of cryptids & tales of things unexplained that they had seen on their road trips. in exchange for bryn's promise of aid, the spy offers him a handmade amulet as a symbol of their newfound friendship. little does he know, the amulet is bugged. CHOICE SELECTED : B.

SET 6 ... SKY, ELIANA, & DAMIAR.

MANNEQUINS IN THE BASEMENT : the events of the halloween led in several different directions, from the confiscated tape to the mystery of the ventriloquist doll. sky has been given a new task to ask eliana moschetti what she thinks she saw that night when she allegedly witnessed the doll run past the doors of the house of wax museum. she agrees to meet with him at the museum while checking in on her son, damiar, & the three congregate in the basement where damiar is readying mannequins being used as a base for new wax figures. upon reaching the end of the meeting, the three of them are surprised to discover a body seemingly hanging from the ceiling. they investigate, & though life-like, it turns out that the body is none other than another mannequin, horribly disfigured. damiar reveals he is not the culprit, & the bewilderment grows when they witness more corpse-like mannequins left lying on the ground. upon reaching the back of the basement, those grotesque mannequins suddenly move & clamber to their feet, some crawling on the ground, emitting mechanical growls & groans and attempting to harm the three.

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) the three narrowly escape the horde of mannequins, damiar discovers recorded voices placed within each mannequin, but no clue of anything else or any signs regarding who might have set them all up in the first place. one of the broken mannequins lying on the floor then slowly turning its head, speaking to eliana : 'THE SEVEN OF SWORDS IS AMONG YOU ...' before deactivating, or B ) outnumbered and caught off-guard by the mannequins, eliana receives a slight injury while attempting to escape, but is quickly tended to by damiar. they manage to leave the basement, but are unable to find any clues as to what happened. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

SET TWO CHOICES : A ) damiar dismantles the mannequin in search of the audio tape that must be hidden somewhere within while sky & eliana barricade the door within the basement from the attacking mannequins. all three scour the remaining area of the basement trying to collect the audio tapes that are within the mannequins, but they soon learn that the tapes within the recorders are stuck & refuse to play, leaving them with only one clue, or B ) sky grows suspicious & asks damiar how someone else could have broken into the house of wax without his knowledge as he lives there. while the pair are arguing, one of the other mannequins lying around the basement grabs onto eliana's ankle from the shadows. the mother manages not to scream & not to alert the others, picking up the mannequin. it whispers in her ear, 'YOUR FAMILY ARE BAD SEEDS...'. it, too, deactivates. CHOICE SELECTED: B.

SET 7 ... VALERIE, ROSALIND & NADINE.

THE STORAGE ROOMS : valerie has recently agreed to an idea that rosalind had to collaborate the daycare's daytime activities with the hopeful light art shack & provide some additional engagements for the foster children in need. however, the aid comes with a price : rooting through the cobweb-ridden storage rooms that creak every time the wind shifts & shadows glide across the walls. the door is unlocked & lifted up to discover that someone is already there : nadine castellanos, waiting patiently for valerie's arrival & claiming that valerie has accrued a debt owed by her former manager & failure to pay would result in harm to her family. all of a sudden, the single lightbulb goes dark in the storage unit, mid-conversation. the sudden plunge of darkness causes all parties to stumble from where they were, & a scream ricochets off the walls from rosalind. the other two parties are searching for a source of light in the dark while the ominous rattling of strings that has been haunting the daycare returns, & the sound of a music box winding up.

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) the music box pops open as nadine manages to confiscate a flashlight & she comes face-to-face with a revolting jack in the box with its face distorted as it fires a BB gun into her eye & knocks her out & leaves valerie torn between helping nadine or saving rosalind, who is choking on thin strings from a kite wrapped around her throat, or B ) nadine & valerie bump into one another & they begin to tussle, thinking the other is the cause of the blackout, until they stumble & fall over rosalind's body, gasping for breath. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

SET TWO CHOICES : A ) valerie jumps to rosalind's aid instead of checking on nadine for any head wounds, & has to rely on her past knowledge from living in west virginia to fashion a sharp object out of the items lying around the storage containers when they discover their pocket knife has been stolen off their person. once she manages to cut rosalind free, she produces a lighter to search the darkness for nadine, only to discover the husk of a ventriloquist doll laying a few feet away from ros & strings dangling from it. the note on its body reads 'YOU'RE NO FUN ):', or B ) valerie, overwhelmed by the situation, dives toward nadine who is closer, & nearly slips on the slick of blood on the floor as she discovers that blood is pooling from the gang member's eye. in a panic, she discovers that the jack in the box is painted like the ventriloquist doll from the halloween party. hysterical as the sounds of ominous rattling continues, they run out of the storage container, screaming for help into the night. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

SET 8 ... ZELIHA & DUSTY.

THE ABANDONED TERMINAL : en route to down the rabbit hole underground mall, dustin & zeliha are forced to take shelter in an abandoned building while a harsh snow squall washes over the area. as the below zero temperatures enwrap them, they finally become comfortable below ground where there is greater warmth, they finally become comfortable - dustin notices strange things while walking along the dilapidated passageways and signage for the abandoned subway system, such as repeated graffiti on certain corridors & corners. there is a dreadful feeling as if the place is trying to devour them. the sound of the squall's wailing winds are beginning to die down against the thick concrete ceilings as dustin & zeliha make a sharp turn following an old exit sign & expecting to find the way out, only to be led back to the main room. they try again, over & over, until they notice that every time they pass the corridors read the graffiti, something’s always different about the wording.

SET ONE CHOICES : A ) dusty & zeliha manage to notice the graffiti word changes, which eventually point them to where the exit is. the sun shines outside by the time they manage to escape the strange building, or B ) dusty & zeliha repeatedly miss the words, causing them to be stranded in the building for the whole day, if not more, growing incredibly frustrated if not terrified as the surroundings repeat themselves. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

SET TWO CHOICES : A ) the wording on the walls begins to change as they travel deeper into the intricate catacombs, the walls plastered with names that haunt their past, from zeliha's past cases & dusty's firstborn son, various ominous threats & parts of baby dolls littering the ground or B ) a metallic clanging fills the air, following them persistently throughout the tunnels. when they turn around, glowing red eyes are staring at them in the dark. as they trek deeper, the eyes are closer each time they turn around. the fifth time, the metallic sinews of a rusted animatronic's face pierce the dark & grab onto dusty & he's thrown into a caved in portion of the tunnels where the floor has become a treacherous drop underground. CHOICE SELECTED: A.

growing up you were not always the smartest or the most outgoing but you were definitely one of the most creative in your friend group. it often felt like your head was in the clouds, often dreaming about faraway places and scenarios that you would later start to write down into stories. you had always been a story teller, one that could never find your voice to speak up in most situations but able to captivate those around you while recounting the event of something that happened, just by the way you told the story. becoming an author was something that surprised no one. you have always been quite anxious and jumpy. it started when you were younger, the feeling of always needing to look over your shoulder, the feeling that something unsettling was always hanging around the corner. and though you could never place where the anxiety came from, countless physiatrists bounced you from medication to medication to attempt to make it better, though it never fully subsidized. and that fact dictated a lot of what you did. you stayed home in michigan, feeling safe there. you opted to not attend your book releases or do signings, you hardly attended parties. you only showed up if absolutely necessary. some might say you were reclusive. and even just showing up here was a daunting task for you. and perhaps that feeling of paranoia and anxiety that you felt only got worse and worse once the blackmail started. it started when you made friends with someone in one of the video games you like to play. the two of you hit it off right away and quickly became fast friends despite never meeting. you felt safe with them and as time went on you started to confide in them. and perhaps you confided in them a little too much as friendship very quickly started to feel like something more to you. and just as you got comfortable, the blackmail started - threatening to release secrets you shared with only them, threatening to even spoil the plots of your upcoming releases. and they only agreed to keep quiet as long as you paid them monthly. and so you do, far too afraid to admit your mistake to anyone and far too afraid of the consequences of not doing so.

I met a girl and all the money I borrowed from a loan shark was gone in the blink of an eye. He told me I needed to work it off." His fingertips playing with the strands of her hair. "I started fighting for him, I would let myself get the shit beat out of me when the night bet against me, I would fight for my life when they voted for me." He glances to her. "My last fight, I put this guy in the hospital." He whispers. "My brother found out recently." He narrows his gaze. "He's blackmailing me and I'm not surprised but I have no fucking idea what to do."

Something I've been thinking about recently.

Caretaker and Whumpee have been friends for awhile. With caretaker often being the mom friend, reminding whumpee to not overwork themselves and such. Whumpee has always found caretaker a sholder to cry on.

But Caretaker notices Whumpee isn't doing ok. They soon learn Whumpee is being threatened by Whumper, someone that they knew in the past. Caretaker and Whumpee come up with a plan to stop Whumper, but it doesn't go well, whumpee and Caretaker split up, with Caretaker chasing after Whumper. A few hours pass and they get a text from whumper "This isn't what we agreed on you giving me, but I'll take your new offer." Attached to the text, a picture of Caretaker, brusied and unconscious.

Now Whumper uses Caretaker as blackmail, everytime Whumpee messes up, is late, trys to find them, ect. Caretaker takes the punishment and a photo is sent to Whumpee. (To be continue)

i just think it’s worth saying, if photos of your muse in a compromising position/etc were sent to connor in an effort to blackmail/shame/embarrass/etc your muse. connor would receive them, destroy them, and never mention them again except to ask if your muse is alright. maybe trace their source if it would aid in pressing charges. he is very firmly in the “i was never meant to see this and so I will act like I never did” camp, it does not matter what the information or image is, if it was not meant for him its content will not enter into how he views your muse at all. that’s the post

FALL 2022 SEMESTER PLOT SUMMARY

When the students of Ogden College all returned at the end of August 2022, ready for a new school year, the whispers buzzed about campus, all of them with one thing in common - no one had heard from the campus GOLDEN GIRL, Greer Morrison. She was the center of everything at Ogden - surely she’d be back soon. She even still won homecoming queen, after which everyone on campus received a mysterious text from someone who called themselves G. It wasn’t her, was it ??

Apparently not, because the very next morning, Greer Morrison was declared a missing person. 

As her disappearance was investigated, first by local cops and then by the FBI being involved, THE GOLDEN GIRL wasn’t quite as absent from campus as one would expect. Letters from her appeared in several people’s rooms on two separate occasions, and the entire semester, the mysterious texts from G continued, containing knowledge of secrets only Greer had known. G didn’t hesitate about using that to their advantage - playing games with the students, teasing them into doing their biddings and daring them to reveal truths about themselves they never would’ve anyways.

A black out on campus led to the perfect opportunity for someone to break into the office the investigation team had taken over, getting their hands on the notes the cops had - with a popular anonymous campus gossip blog making it clear that someone on campus had these files, and wasn’t afraid to use them. Making everything everyone said in confidence to the officers....completely fair game, with the potential to be leaked at any moment. 

It’s possible that either of these people - the one who was calling themselves G, the one who broke into the investigation office, or maybe even Greer herself - decided to toy with everyone even further. Because on halloween, just a short week after Greer’s birthday, something spooky was afoot. Clues were left - clues containing flight information, clues of Greer’s journal entries (redacted, of course, so there was no real info), and perhaps most ominous of all, notes, warnings of the circumstances in which Greer left. 

This certainly wasn’t a normal missing persons case any longer. If it ever had been.

The gossip blog wasn’t done tormenting all the students yet - no, they had been quiet. And because of that, it seemed people had forgotten about them far too easily. So they decided to come back with a bang, teasing everyone that they had seen the time capsule videos the students had recorded, only to be released in fifty years. 

As one can imagine, there was a lot of sensitive information on there. Including a video of THE GOLDEN GIRL herself. A video that led to her boyfriend at the time she vanished, THE NAIVE NEWCOMER, being expelled, walked off campus in handcuffs one morning. 

Thanks to the new information provided by the time capsules, the officers were back - this time with a much heavier FBI presence, looking into Greer’s disappearance. Everyone on campus was dragged in to meet with them, some people’s interviews going better than others. Like, much better. After these interviews, the officers had a list of of suspects - people they trusted, people they thought knew something, and people they thought might’ve actually had a hand in Greer’s disappearance.

To make it all better (read: worse), G somehow immediately knew who they had liked, sending those few students information. More clues, with no context. 

But now, a tumultuous semester behind them, the school provided all expenses paid trip for the holiday’s, starting shortly after Christmas and extending into the New Year. It was January 1st, in fact, when the snow started falling, leaving the students in a chalet, the after party extended indefinitely as they waited for the weather to clear - which was only prolonged when the power went out. Of course, as the students partied, a new year didn’t mean everything that had been plaguing them was left in 2022. Instead, it was all dragged in with them, when a student, Penelope Klein, was found dead, leaving people feeling like there was no way this was just a coincidence - it had to tie into Greer somehow. 

With all of this hanging over their heads, it’s a wonder the students of Ogden College were able to focus on school at all. Every corner they turned, their secrets were being dangled over their heads, loyalty was being tested, and the looming question that all of them had to face still had no answer - what if they had something to do with why Greer left ??

Or, even worse - what if they were the ones blamed for it ??
