LeeHee/BillyJean Birthday Set Conversion 2T4

I could not believe it when I found this set! I’m a huge fan of BPS (wish they had not closed) and Leehee is one of my favorite creators of all time. I hope they don’t mind me converting it because I just had to have it, HAD TO, and I give full credit to them, but I will take the post down if there are any issues. That said, I know there are others out there who just love their work and I decided I would share it. This is a conversion, so these meshes are not mine.

21 objects are included in a zip file so you can pick and choose.

The mini blackboard has 10 total swatches, 9 of which were added by me just for some variety.

All LODS, including shadows.

All meshes are preserved and have not been altered from their beautifulness.

Blackpearlsims downloads with pictures!

Ginnie has been uploading bps / blackpearlsims downloads with images over at simscave for months now, and I highly urge you to take a look! You will need to register, but it's so worth it :-) keep in mind it's still a WIP - the uploads are uploaded alphabetically by creator and atm Ginnie is on "P".

An Update from 2bpsbackup

It's been ages since I last logged in to my Weebly account, but today I decided to update the archive and with it: the site. So here's an official update on the state of the Archive:

"Hello everybody, the BPS archive is being uploaded to SimFileShare at time of writing to make it easier for people to find things and to have a second backup. This means the site is also going through some changes. First of all: you may have noticed the new page "TS2 Creators". This page will become the new home of the BPS Backup. Each creator has a foldable tab containing their policy (if found) and links to both SFS and MEGA. This is much easier to navigate and maintain. Similar pages will be created for the TS4 CC and the non-creator specific sections of BPS. I'll also be switching the site to a new theme at some point. In the meantime you can still use the links on the "Backup" page. Thank you for your patience."

These mugs are smaller versions of my Boho incense mugs, in order to minimize the clipping when sims use these BGM INSP drinkable versions.

PAPER CUPS

These cups are retextured & scaled down from Vil-lain’s deleted Starbucks cups. I also used some of Banana/OBP’s Starbucks cups and added them in here.

SODA POP

These are retextured versions of Tinkles’ 2t3 vintage soda bottles that used to be at BlackPearlSims.

Soooo....I'm old AF. At least, old enough to remember 2009 when the Sims2 community was imploding.

TSR was the first paysite as we've come to know it. At thst time it was run by a weasley little dude named Thomas, and good LORT was he a piece of work. Doxxing his own employees and nuking other Sims sites, because before Tumblr there were various user-created forums that ruled the community. TSR and Co. personally took down a couple of the big ones, aka SimsCave and ReflexSims (which became BlackPearlSims, and finally SimPearls as it still exists today). PMBD (Paysites Must Be Destroyed) was born out of that controversy and the movement to keep user-created cc free.

The latest in 2022 has mindfucked me a bit. Like bad deja vu. Because the game is the same and only the players are different. Chess board pieces that keep moving around. I was in my late 20s in 2009 (because yeah...old af). The game of pixels....Nothing Changes.

This is appalling. All of it.

I have a few creator friends' backs 'til the bitter end. They're not like the bullies, thieves, and cutthroats out there doing their shady shit. They know how to mesh. They offer early access. They don't resort to dickish tactics to keep patrons around.

The one thing I urge folks to do is not get caught up. Support those who create solid content, and don't lump all Patreon creators into the same ugly box. My personal belief is that most truly are awesome people either trying to make a living or simply loving the game.

Retextured Clutter

I was going through the BlackPearlSims archives, and some of those old meshes were pretty nice, but I decided that the textures needed an upgrade. I replaced the textures directly into the files, so you can’t have both my versions and the originals at the same time, sorry!

Meshes are:

- Adele’s Gothic Table photos (actually from MTS) with Skell’s Victorian photos

- AnYe’s vintage books and magazine, with TS2 and TS3 textures

- Betsy’s grandma’s knitting, with basket texture by Cassandre

- Cassandre’s summer bag, with TS2 and TS3 textures

- KCR’s power of pink shelf (which has slots!) with goat’s wood

- Tinkle’s Pantry set (4 meshes), with TS2 and TS3 textures

Also, I recolored the TS3 Storybook towel stand (converted by Fabulous Zombie) with textures by TheJim07 at MTS.
