I’m going to Sweden and Denmark in a few weeks with my BF and I’m nervous because but looking forward to it. The pandemic did a number on me but I’m getting back to where I was before and I feel so much better.

I used to manifest meeting a man who would pay for everything for me and I got it. I also manifested another man who pleasures me the way I want. Who said Women couldn’t have it all?

My second set of beauty products(I told you guys that I was obsessed with skincare)

1. Facewash - I didn’t like it at first but now I’m in LOVE with the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. It’s great for washing my face off after I work out and I’m all sweaty

2. Clay Mask - Got this Pink Clay Mask from Peach & Lilly and it’s great for closing up my pores on my bad skin days.

3. Toner - Son & Park Beauty Water. Need I say more?

4. Essence - Love this essence from Missha. Not as expensive as the the SK-II but I’ll be getting that one too.

5. Serum - Niacinamide from The Ordinary for my blemishes.

6. Eye Cream - Once you hit 25 years old you should start using an eye cream so this one isn’t for younger people. This brand is really good and I got it for free.

7. Moisturizer - Not super in love with this one but I got it from Sokoglam so I still want to give it a shot.

8. Lip Scrub - Gets your lips nice and soft and if you’ve been out in the sun all day and want to prevent your lips from tanning use this the night of and for a couple days after.

I have 3 sets of products that I rotate depending on my skin issue that day. My next post will be about the high-end stuff that I use.

Going to do a jewelry/sunglasses haul here and on my Instagram page really soon!

It’ll be affordable because I know a lot of people can’t afford Hermès, or Valentino which is where I typically get my jewelry from.

Also was thinking of doing a post about SHEIN since my cousins and some girlies from Twitter put me onto them. I was skeptical at first until the shoes showed up!

I definitely feel as if we’re coming to a tipping point in terms of representation for Black Women.

There’s no denying the fact that Black Women are slowly becoming the new “It Girls.” We can talk about how colorism and body politics plays into this another day but the fact still stands. Now we just have to decide what to do with this new status.

I definitely suggest that post quarantine, Black Women ride the wave in terms of everyone idolizing Black Women. This isn’t the time to be Social Justice Warriors or mules for anyone’s causes. Focus on yourself and your improvement and I promise you sweeter things will be on the way.
