How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met? BIG difference tbh. Both of them have a much higher respect for each other after getting to know each other and being able to see different aspects of each other over time. Rhys has been able to know Sal's traumas and how Sal loves and feels things so passionately vs how Sal has seen that Rhys is able to go through so much and yet still has it in him to be so affectionate and understanding, even with everything Sal does or says, Rhys still has it in him to carry on so strongly and that earns him a lot of respect and big ass crushing from Sal.

What do their friends/family think of their relationship? I mean,,,,No One Really There Huh. A lot of people at Eden's are good with it, seeing as they all know Sal and Rhys as separate people, although it's pretty tiring with how on and off they tend to be. I imagine a lot of them tend to have bets on when Rhys and Sal will finally end up together properly. In terms of Sal's family and Lost Lights, they actually quite like Rhys! Malcolm thinks he can be calming for Sal while Stella thinks Rhys is rather fun to be around. Perigee,,,well,,,she's a bit confusing tbh.

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other? Well Rhys and Sal are VERY similar to the point where I think they contrast each other. They both act the same and have so many shared aspects that it causes them to clash, like a lot of their fights tend to start with the fact that Rhys and Sal tend to be too similar in some regards. The fact that neither of them exactly enjoy talking about their feelings and traumas leads to a lot of misunderstandings and needing to always account for each other without knowing exactly how or why something could go wrong. A lot of their miscommunication brings about these fights but...also it means that Rhys and Sal just KNOW each other well enough that a lot of their actions can be done without needing to worry about either one of them doing something wrong,,,,they're messy Okay.

What is their favourite aspect of each other? I think Rhys has said before that he really likes Sal's passion and Forwardness to things that he wants, honestly Sal is just. Terrible and Rhys just,,,somehow finds ways to see the good in him. But on Sal's end, he really loves the fact that Rhys is stubborn. Sure, it's annoying in some ways when he's set on staying with Sal despite how awful he can be. Rhys holds out through anything and he always has ways of making Sal feel happy and like he doesn't need to worry about most things and he HAS the confidence for most things, like the amount of times that Rhys has made Sal feel better about himself or worth something. Both of them have a lot of the same traits, but it's just easier to appreciate them when they're on another person.

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other? Sal really hates the fact that Rhys never seems to "let go" of his crush on him and often worries when he does something incredibly self-destructive, he really hates it when Rhys is upset over his actions. Rhys, on the other hand, really hates the fact that Sal can never seem to accept the fact that he cares about him, which causes a lot of struggle between them both.

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight? Rhys tends to apologise and go after Sal fairly quickly, often placating him with treats or words and on Sal's end, he likes to try and ignore the fight and...also offer things to distract Rhys with. Both of them have a poor habit of trying to find things to distract themselves with...and to be fair, it does work better than we give them credit for

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together? I don't think they'd really CHOOSE to go anywhere?? But maybe somewhere near a beach since Sal was often told stories about them from Perigee and beaches are the closest thing that Sal really thinks of in regards to his home planet. Although if Rhys wanted to go anywhere in particular, I don't think Sal would argue against it. If it's somewhere that makes Rhys REALLY happy? 100% I think he'd be more inclined on going there, purely just so Sal can see Rhys enjoy himself since he tends to enjoy places more while Sal tends to enjoy things more, if that makes sense???

Think of a new way (AU, different situation, etc.) they could have met for the first time. I think in terms of angst and stuff, a neat au Rhys and Sal could meet back in the facility Rhys was placed in, mostly because I feel like it could be interesting for them to share a same source of pain together and how that affects how Sal views affection, maybe it makes them a lot more closer as they're the only ones who can really trust each other. Other than that, I think an au where Sal's an alien coming to see Earth, a little like Perigee's style and ends up coming across Rhys? VERY funny with this pale man just stuck with a floaty alien who knows nothing about human stuff.

How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met? I'd say their views have shifted a fair amount? Jen's got a deep look into Rhys as a person and she definitely thinks a LOT of him in terms of how she knows him better and sees Rhys as someone who's so much stronger than what people give him credit for. Meanwhile Rhys had gotten a chance to see more of Jen's worse traits that she doesn't really like most people knowing. I think it definitely assures Rhys more of Jen's flaws and makes them both feel like it's easier to accept each other.

What do their friends/family think of their relationship? Smashers love Rhys! He's got his own relationship with each of them so there's a pretty big area of support when it comes to dating Jen, and Jen's father, Morris is rather supportive of her relationships so long as Rhys treats Jen well of course. As for Rhys's family,,,well, I don't think they would really approve of the relationship but AHA that doesn't matter when it comes to them.

How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other? I'd say they both work well when it comes to stuff like banter or helping people? Jen has her whole "I'm she-hulk" thing but Rhys himself has a way with people and usually knows the right things to say in order to help people. Though most of their skills do tend to contrast quite differently when Jen in general is just more social and able to talk to people as well as he physical strength vs the way Rhys often has a more rough and hands on style of handling issues such as getting into fights or off the top of his head plans in order to help someone out.

What is their favourite aspect of each other? Jen definitely loves the fact that Rhys is so passionate with his feelings. He's someone who loves her with all of his heart and means it and that's very important to Jen who needs to be assured in more ways than just "you're pretty and smart". She likes genuine words and Rhys always has them in full. In a another manner, I like the fact that in your birthday ask that you answered, you focused on the point that Jen DOES pay a lot of attention to Rhys and who he is and I feel like he really appreciates the fact that she always knows what he needs or wants at the time, especially if it feels like something that could be hard to ask for at the time.

Do either of them have pet peeves about each other? Uhh,,,I'd say Jen gets frustrated at times when Rhys refuses to talk about his feelings or the fact that he gets so upset about the way people can talk to them? This is kinda a combined thing for them really as Jen has the same issue with swallowing back her own issues, leading to both of them keeping quiet about a lot of things that they should try and talk about. Both of them DO try with a lot of issues, but it doesn't stop the fact that Rhys and Jen will often still keep certain feelings to themselves, which can cause a lot of stress between the two and also for their own feelings.

How would each reconcile with each other after a fight? I think both of them would need some time to cool down in their own ways, but I'm soft at the idea that Jen and Rhys are always those kinds of couples who just naturally drift back together after some time apart and both of them just end up finding each other in the kitchen/living room before one of them will apologise. Usually in particular Jen will wanna talk about the fight and they feelings so they can be sure they'll never have a fight over smth like this again.

What would be their ideal vacation getaway together? I'd say a beach! It's warm and Jen loves sunbathing, but also it could be nice at night for her and Rhys to walk along together. Either that or some cabin in the woods during spring or summer, where Rhys and Jen can have some privacy together and not worry about anyone needing them in battles or trying to bother the two of them.

Think of a new way (AU, different situation, etc.) they could have met for the first time. Maybe an au where Rhys meets Jen when she turns human? A little more 616 based where he just meets this nice human woman and isn't really aware that she's the She-hulk? Makes it VERY funny when Jen decides to share who she is with Rhys and then it kinda clicks he's been dating a 7'7 woman and she's only chosen NOW to bring it out?? I'm just a huge fan of the "I've been keeping this part of me hidden for a while-" and she's a giant green woman jjdjdj it's gold and also I think there's a neat difference to Rhys who's gone into meeting and liking Jen from knowing who she is to this other version of her that could impact their first meeting a little more than normal.

Leo unknowingly practicing ninja moves at a very young age not because of what he learned through Lou Jitsu movie osmosis but because he learned about magic tricks and wanted to pull them off.

His best was his “disappearing act” which was essentially him just distracting everyone and then running away very fast and very quietly (almost like he teleported) and he ends up being shockingly good at keeping to blindspots because of it.

More ROTTMNT headcanons: cause I’m bored

For the longest time, everyone thought Donnie was the second oldest 

But Draxum tells them that it’s actually Leo

And Leo loses his shit because he fucking knew it 

And he holds that over everyone's head until the day he dies 

Anytime Splinter tried to scold him he says something along the lines of “bold words from the man who couldn't even get our birth order right”

Donnie is still salty because even though no one treats him differently he claims he “doesn't feel respected”

And Leo will materialize out of thin air and say “how do you think I felt for 18 years”

Donnie is farsighted and Leo is nearsighted 

Donnie wore glasses until he found out what contacts were and made his own

Leo didn’t have to wear his glasses every day but he would get a headache if he didn’t use them at least once a week

And because he’s a stubborn little shit who’s “too cool for glasses” he ends up fucking up his eyesight

Now he can't see 5 feet in front of his face and Donnie has to make him contacts 

Because he might be legally blind but he still has standards 

Splinter also has terrible eyesight

He never wore normal glasses and he refused to wear contacts

So all he owned was prescription sunglasses 

April is legally blind her lenses are as thick as a brick

Donnie offered to make her contacts but she says that glasses add character 

She doesn’t want to admit that the idea of touching her eyes freaks her out 

She also can't be in the bathroom when the twins are putting in or taking out their contacts

It freaks/grosses her out

Mikey and Leo both had asthma when they were younger 

Mikey doesn't have it anymore and he claims he has “miracle lungs” 

But Leo has a lot of breathing problems after the movie

He can’t breathe when he’s sleeping without being hooked up to a machine

Raph ended up stealing said machine because Donnie couldn’t make it fast enough

Splinter and the boys have cloaking brooches but they never use them 

Cause one of the times, they went topside someone yelled “Lou Jitsu is that you?!” and Splinter freaked out and ran

Paparazzi were still able to get “exclusive footage of Lou and his secret kids!!” but that was the last time they went topside with the brooches 

Leo is the only one who looks halfway decent in that photo so he has it framed on his wall 

A lot of people are arguing about whether Casey Jr is actually Cassandra’s or not 

Some people think he is and some people think he’s a dumpster baby 

But my headcanon is Casey senior was Casey Jr’s godmother

And when Casey Jr’s birth mom died Casey adopted him and immediately changed his name to Casey

And if anyone wanted to say he wasn’t her kid she would say “what do you mean he’s not my kid he has the exact same name as me”

So I might have forgotten to say it, but in this AU, time doesn't just stop after 2003 Donny, 2012 Mikey, and Rise Raph get mentally linked. After getting their mental connection, they continue to live their lives and the adventures that come in the episodes.

So while Raph does get a bit of rest after the movie, 2003 Donny follows the 2003 third season, and 2012 Mikey jumps straight into the 2012 fourth season.

"Yeah, yeah," Sal scoffs and rolls his eyes, but it doesn't stop his cheeks from heating up at Rhys's affectionate tone, "Get 'em while they're hot, or whatever..."

Out of all of his luck, that stupid fucking spell that spider weirdo gave to Rhys, of course it had to mess with Sal's alien side in some weird way. But where as the pale man was perfectly fine, Sal...not so much.

Where his legs and ass should be, a large...hairy waist was now, with four furry paws sticking out and the tiniest tail Sal had ever seen on...well, what was supposed to be an animals' ass, he guessed? His fur was a deep chocolate, curly and warm as the hybrid sprawled across the floor since he was unable to sit up on any furniture right now.

The whole situation was fucking scary, barely helped by the petting Rhys was giving him. Even with how nice it felt and how his tail had started to wag, Sal couldn't stop the panicked whine from slipping out as he thumped his head into the floor, muttering a quiet, "ow" a moment later.

"Fuck! This is- what if I'm stuck like this forever?"

Unironically think that each of the bros (+April) don’t actually get how impressive their feats really are so they just do what they do and on the off chance someone comments on those feats they all react like:
