Note

On users' blog archive (if they haven't chosen any tags to be spotlighted) there is a list of their commonly used tags with a number in parentheses following it. What is that number? I'd assumed it was the number of instances of that tag, but I verified by counting the number of posts listed once I'd selected that tag (on multiple blogs/archives) and the number in parentheses =/= the number of posts. So what is that number supposed to indicate?

Thank you for flagging this with us. As it is, it is supposed to indicate how many posts have that tag. And if it doesn’t, well, then that’s a bug. We will look at this as soon as possible and get this fixed.

In the meantime, we would invite you to submit a Support ticket regarding this issue with any and every supporting information and materials you can.

Archive

It is with such a heavy heart that I have decided to no longer continue with this blog. I will not be deleting it so you can still continue to read what I have written. But I have moved on from this portion of my life. The memories I have made from this time in my life will always follow me. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities and the friendships I have made here. It was here that I fully got to explore my love of writing, and it was a way for me to express myself during hard times in my life. And I will never forget it. The Spot of Mummery Blog Archive is now fully available!

Back in April, I began a project that felt almost impossible – so much that I didn’t attempt it before. However, with my trust in outside blogging platforms such as Tumblr and WordPress flagging, I finally decided that I wanted to move my content to a place I have complete control over it.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but as a creator -

I am fine with "the audience" -

downloading my fics

printing my fics

copy/pasting or screenshotting my fics

sharing your saved copy of my fics with anyone else who might want them in the unlikely but never impossible case that my fics are no longer available on ao3

making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss

doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc

I am not fine with "the audience"

doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity

feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever

Save the fandom things. Preserve the fandom things. Respect the fandom things.

Enjoy the fandom things.
