every time i go to the doctor it seems like there’s always one (1) thing about my blood work/exam/medical history/whatever that confuses and upsets them. there’s always something SLIGHTLY wrong. i for one have accepted the fact that my body is weird and doesn’t make sense, so it’s always kind of fun when they’re like “wow. you shouldn’t be like this, but there’s no explanation for it, and you’re not dying, so. carry on i suppose”

Why does it feel like the world is falling down around me? Why do I only want to sleep? Why do I find no joy in anything?
I've been forgetting my Vitamin D supplement, and I have a serious deficiency. Plus, I won't see the sun on a regular basis until May. Ope.

I know I’ve said this before, but I’m really really sorry to have been gone so long. I had a very medically difficult few months but I really appreciate everyone’s patience. I feel really bad about having been gone from here and fictionkin hell, but I appreciate everyone not bombarding me with questions like “where are you, why has it been so long, when will you do my request?” I’m sure it just didn’t cross you guys’ minds to ask because I have a history of inconsistent posting, but I genuinely appreciate just being given some space nonetheless. As of right now, requests are technically closed, but I’ll be working through everything in the inbox once my fatigue starts to let up. Thanks again for everyone’s patience, I hope to be back soon!

I think I might be a little sick in the head because I was thinking about that person who likes getting surgeries bc it's fun and I was like oooh that's so me. I love having medical things done to me. It's so cool and interesting. I love it when they stick monitors on me or use ultrasounds to look in my body. When I have a weird medical procedure/test coming up I tell people about it like it's an exciting activity. I look forward to it. If I didn't have vasovagal syncope from needles I'd be one of those people who watches when the nurse inserts the IV and I'd be all interested talking about it with them. That's not normal is it

Hey y’all! Weird question that’s kind of a longshot. It’s about vaccines and allergies (based on my specific allergy history)
If I’m allergic to the flu vaccine*, not allergic to the Moderna covid vaccine**, and not allergic to eggs, do you have any ideas what in the flu vaccine I could be allergic to/what other vaccines I am likely to be allergic to***?
*for once, it was like a normal allergic reaction? huge hive at the injection site (handprint sized) that turned into a bad bruise, but no other symptoms. My doctor said that even though it was a relatively minor reaction, I should not get the flu vaccine again, because of my history of severe allergic reactions.
**I did have a reaction to the covid vaccine, but my doc and I are both pretty sure it wasn’t an allergic reaction, it was an “anything stressing my immune system makes my adrenals be even more wrong than they already are”. Basically, my blood pressure TANKED for three days after my last dose, I got bad chills, but had none of my usual allergic reaction symptoms.
***from what I could find, egg allergies are the one people usually worry about with flu vaccines, but I eat eggs all the time with no problems
