I view her as a possessive and controlling type of yandere. She would have deep and intense feelings for her object of affection, and a strong desire for exclusive companionship and ownership. Her possessive behaviors would likely involve a willingness to monopolize the affection of the one she loves and a need to control and possess them. She would likely see herself as entitled to the sole attention and devotion of the person she is obsessed with, and would probably use manipulative and aggressive methods to ensure she is the only one who has access to her beloved.
She's very observant when it comes to her object of affection. She would pay close attention to all their behaviour, movements, and actions in order to maintain a high level of control. She would likely be highly aware of any potential threats to her dominance and control over the one she loves, and would be quick to take action and make sure that the one she loves remains dedicated to her and only her.
Mary constantly noticing and observing the minute details of their behaviors and actions. This attention and observation include a heightened awareness of their emotions, thoughts and feelings, allowing her to quickly pick up on subtle shifts and changes in their moods and states of mind. No dear, of course she will not use your emotions against you. She just love watching you.
She's easily jealous and prone to intense episodes of possessiveness when the reader is with other survivors. She would likely become extremely controlling over her beloved, demanding absolute exclusivity and ownership over the reader. Any presence or interactions of darling with other survivors would likely cause intense feelings of jealousy and insecurity in blood queen, causing her to respond with anger, aggression and a desire to remove or eliminate any competitors for the Darling's attention and affection.
She'll become extremely possessive and clingy, demanding excessive attention and time from the reader. She would likely become extremely possessive and possessive over her darling, demanding them only interact with her and no one else. She would likely resort to stalking, spying to ensure their attention and affection remained solely with her. She'll show extreme levels of jealousy and aggression towards any perceived romantic competitors for the reader's affection.
She'll manifest in her intense and unhealthy fixation on her beloved, to the point of losing sight of the difference between fantasy and reality. She would likely start to lose the ability to differentiate between their actions and behaviors in reality and those in her fantasies. She would likely act as if she is actually in a relationship with Darling, and would start to act as if they have actual real feelings for her, blurring the lines between the relationship she wants the two of them to have and the actual state of the relationship.
she's likely be plagued by recurring, intrusive thoughts or urges about her darling, such as the need to possess and control over you, or the need to keep you in her life. These urges would likely manifest in her obsession with you and her obsession with owning the you.
Mary would suffer intense feelings of anxiety and discomfort when those urges or thoughts are not being satisfied or followed, and struggle to function regularly unless she is able to fulfill those urges.
She would likely feel frustrated and angry that you're avoiding her, feeling as if you're purposely not interacting with her and trying to snub her. Bloody queen would likely react with more obsessive behaviors, becoming even more possessive and controlling of you in an attempt to force the reader to interact with her and give her attention. She would likely become even more intense and aggressive, becoming more volatile and unpredictable to force you to stop avoiding her.
Bloody queen would react with extreme anger and aggression if her beloved always hit her with the reality that you don't care or love her. She would likely feel hurt by the rejection, and would likely respond with a strong display of anger and hostility, potentially leading to violence and an attempt to hurt you.
Mary would not handle the rejection well, and would likely respond with more obsessive and controlling behaviors that could lead to a greater level of aggression and hostility.
If she felt rejected and ignored by you during trials, she would likely become very angry and aggressive. would likely feel deeply hurt, angry and insulted by the rejection, and might not be able to control her violent impulses or outbursts. She would likely want to cause physical damage to the reader as well as psychological damage, and an attack would likely be a way to do both.
She would likely attack the reader as a way of venting her frustration and expressing her anger at the reader for not giving her attention and affection. She will launch violent attacks towards you, trying to harm and even kill the player as a way to express her angry and aggressive feelings. She would likely want to make you feel the same way she feels, and would likely want to inflict a similar level of pain and damage that you have caused her.
She would act soft and gentle towards you in certain situations. She'll become soft and gentle when you're showing a level of kindness and compassion towards her that you do not normally have during trials.
There are some cases where you may see a softer side of Bloody queen in certain special events. Mary could show mercy or kindness towards the reader in these situations. Her sudden gentleness toward her darling would be jarring and unexpected after her usual hostile and aggressive behavior, but it would also be refreshing to you.
Though she is known for her violent and aggressive behavior, Bloody queen has also been known to express some gentleness and affection towards the one she loves, and dolling you up could be a way she expresses a softer and kinder side of her. Dolling up her beloved would likely involve applying makeup, hairstyling and dressing them in a way that emphasizes your beauty and appeal to Mary.
Bloody queen likely have a desire to see the one she loves look and feel their best, and this would manifest in her dolling up her lover. She would likely pick out nice clothing, accessories, or hair and makeup that she thinks suits you, and would likely feel proud of the appearance and beauty she has bestowed upon the person she loves.
Bloody queen sees you as a source of satisfaction and validation for her obsessive behaviors and her attachment to you. She would likely want to please you and make you happy, and would likely consider your praise and worship as the highest form of attention and affection.
However, her worship of you would likely be in a somewhat dominant and controlling manner, rather than truly praising and worshiping you as a superior being. Bloody queen might express her praise and worship towards you, but with the intention of reminding and enforcing that you're within her control, and also to further express her authority and dominance in the relationship.

I don't know if you've posted about it before but do you have any hopes/wishes for the last season of Ghosts? :)
I don’t think I have shared any publicly, just yelled about what we may see in the book to a couple mutuals. So, I’ll list a couple ideas that, to me, would be neat, though we must keep in mind that we have seven more episodes tops now to wrap this up. And that is hard.
I have a lot of ideas, apparently, and here’s a few for you!
- this is surely an unpopular opinion but I still wish Mike was killed (or lightly fried) at the end of s4. Now he can see ghosts, he can interact with ghosts. Better yet, he is a ghost. (It’s in the works, I am trying.)
- Humphrey achieving some sort of happiness, success, a bloody miracle at not being kicked for another season.. then being sucked off. Personally, I wouldn’t say the side character is ready, there is still plenty more trauma and backstory we will never get to see. Even so, I’m in two minds about it. As it hasn’t happened already, for some crazy reason, Larry may aswell stick his neck out some more. But something is telling me, it’s coming. I say, more Humphrey, period. I am me, after all.
- more alison/mike lore. Just a glimpse of a souvenir of their first date, a snapshot from their wedding, ANYTHING but them having a baby who can see ghosts and is named mary PLEASE. They’re having a baby aren’t they. *long sigh.
- a continuation of the ‘virtuous’ Julian arc. Him using his powers for good, and not so good with Alison, along with maybe touching up Fanny whilst we’re at it. (I’m a fan of ‘old money’, what can I say?! Those two have such potential.)
- speaking of Fanny, more Fanny exposure. There’s just something about Ghosts that seems to still gloss over Fanny and her backstory especially, through no fault of the idiot writer’s own - they all need their time in the spotlight, sure. But even after four years, Fanny still feels underdeveloped and overlooked to me at times. Martha’s delivery of her is spot on, and she gives and gives and gives.. I just think, Fanny has a lot more work to do, but she really has come far. We, as a fandom, should celebrate Fanny, actually.

I feel that Scudworth's cloning is REALLY bad. Like I see people saying the clones are literal and I like that idea but nobody can tell me he was good at it.
I headcanon older figures like Joan, Jesus, Confucius and Helen of Troy, aren't actually clones from them, bodies were buried in places it was said the figures were but the bodies weren't the people but random people specially for Jesus and Confucius since there is not one interpretation of them and Helen of Troy isn't even a real person
I like your biannchinetta headcanon. He would easily mess them up, no clue why there's double clones
this is so canon I refuse anything else. I feel the double clones (like Harriet n what not) would happen because he doesnt Pay TOO much attention on who he clones. (This is basically confirned in the bloody Mary episode where he clones a Donnor party member thinking it was someone else) ALSO LIKE. JOAN WAS BURNED WITH THE PURPOSE NOBODY COULD FIND HER BODY. also considering "both" of Columbus body are both not allowed to be touched. (There literally in fancy ass tombs. Scudworth is NOT putting in that much effort for a body.) its just... FUEL

Bloody Mary, Skin, and Hook Man
Third Person POV
Just over a month and a half after the case in Pennsylvania, and several other, low-scale hunts, the Winchester trio caught wind of a case that really piqued their interest in late January. After all, everyone knows of the age old, urban legend surrounding Bloody Mary. The one that goes if a person goes into a bathroom at night, with the lights off, and says “Bloody Mary” three times, the spirit will appear and kill you by first gouging out your eyes.
Now, having grown up as a Hunter, and years of reading all sorts of lore on different spirits, demons, and supernatural entities in general, the Winchesters knew that there was a chance the way things played out could be slightly different than what all of the various versions of lores said. Which seemed like this case may just have been a very real possibility of actually being Bloody Mary.
After all, what had started out as a simple game of truth or dare between three high school girls ended up with the tragic death of the one girl’s father. Reading over the gruesome details of the father’s death, Sam knew that there wasn’t remotely normal about a man’s eyes liquifying in his skull and bleeding out from that, despite the press’ attempt at trying to pass it off as a fluke case of spontaneous combustion.
So, of course, when Sam found a story from a newspaper clipping that seemed to be the urban legend becoming reality, he knew that it was a case right up the Winchester’s alley. Once he had shown the article to both his brother and Mickey, the three of them headed to Toledo, Ohio and then to Fort Wayne, Indiana to crack the case, with one of Sam’s nightmares about the death of his girlfriend happening during the drive, one that he refused to talk about.
It was in Toledo, Ohio that the Winchesters found out that the tragic death of Steven Shoemaker came as a result of a “Bloody Mary” dare that had gone wrong. It took a hefty bribe to get the morgue attendant to even let them look at the body, confirming the thought that there was no logical or possible way for this man to have died of spontaneous combustion, considering that Mr. Shoemaker’s skull was filled with blood and his eyes were truly liquified.
Despite not having a clear cause of death, but knowing that it was more than what a normal human could comprehend, the Three Musketeers, or rather Winchesters, attended both the eldest Shoemaker’s funeral and his home shortly after. One thing that the youngest daughter said piqued all three of the Hunters’ interest, and it certainly wasn’t her blaming herself for her father’s death.
At least, not entirely. But, rather, it was the reason as to why she blamed herself. After finding out about the dare to ‘release’ Bloody Mary, the brothers and Mickey set out on a search for clues, while also being as discreet and respectful as they could be. It didn’t take the trio long to determine that there was indeed something suspicious about the death of Steven Shoemaker, and Mickey gave Charlie, one of the best friends of the late man’s oldest daughter,  her phone number with the message to call if she thought of anything helpful.
Sure enough, Charlie gave Mickey a ring later that evening after having been on the phone with her other friend, Jill, when she too had tried to ‘summon’ Bloody Mary in her own mirror, as a joke, and died before she got the chance to hang up. Upon investigating Jill’s bedroom, and the mirror in question, Mickey found a clue that would crack the case wide open, revealing a connection, not to the classic lore, but rather to a far more tragic, human mistake.
Gary Bryman. The young boy that Jill had killed in a hit and run with her vehicle. Finding this clue led the Winchesters back to the Shoemaker household, and more specifically Mr. Shoemaker’s bedroom, based on a hunch that Sam had. His gut feelings paid off when they found the name of Mr. Shoemaker’s late wife scrawled on the mirror.
It didn’t take long to figure out the widow’s wife had died under suspicious circumstances, labeled as a sleeping pill overdose. And, it took even less time for Mickey to offer up the suggestion that Linda Shoemaker hadn’t died accidently, but rather that her husband had killed her and made it look like an accident.
Now, there was a connection, and a strong lead. The Winchesters weren’t dealing with a childhood scary story to tell in the dark, but rather something more dangerous, and far more deadly: a vengeful spirit. However, Dean’s own gut instinct was telling him that there was still something about this case that involved a woman named Mary, blood, and a mirror.
As it turned out, and much to the disappointment of the brothers and Mickey, the case actually had nothing to do with the Bloody Mary lore and much more to do with just a vengeful spirit. While the case may not have turned out to be what any of them were expecting or hoping for, there was one good thing to come from the month in general.
And that…that was Mickey winning the race against Sam in high heels and getting dibs on the front seat for the entire month, much to Sam’s surprise.
Flashback
“I’m telling you, Dean, this will be the easiest race of my entire life!” Sam says, stretching out his legs.
“I’m not so sure, Sammy.” Dean leans against the front of the Impala, his arms crossed and a smirk on his face. “I told you, Mickey is fast.”
“She may be fast in her sneakers but in heels? I bet that day in Pennsylvania was a fluke because the alarm was going off.” The youngest shakes his head.
Before he can speak once again, the sound of click-clacks are heard. Sam looks up to see Mickey walking toward him, the heels from the last hunt on her feet. She has a large smirk on her face as she fixes her gym shorts.
“Ready to lose, Winchester?”
“You’ll be the one losing, Storm.” He playfully rolls his eyes.
“You already lost, Sammy.”
“Alright, alright.” Dean chuckles, putting his hands out. “The rule is: No pushing each other. Sam doesn’t need to break a nail. I’m going to stand in the middle of the parking lot while you guys stand by that light post over there. The first one to smack my hand is the winner. Do you guys remember what your prize is?”
“The front seat.” Mickey glances at her best friend with a smile.
“You gotta stop being all lovey.” He rolls his eyes before smirking again. “I also keep my seat without complaints.”
“Great!” Dean rubs his hands together as he walks over to the middle of the parking lot. “Get moving.”
Mickey grins and starts walking to the light post, clicky clacks following her again. Sam shakes his head and follows her after slipping off his jacket to lay on the hood of the car. They both make it and turn toward the eldest Winchester.
“Ready?!” Dean calls out.
“Yep!” Mickey answers, getting into her running stance before whispering. “You’re going down.”
Sam rolls his eyes, getting into his own stance. “You wish.”
The eldest Winchester begins to count down from three before throwing his hands out with a chant of ‘Go!’. Both Sam and Mickey take off like a bullet out of a gun, the latter’s hair whipping in the wind but that doesn’t slow her down. Despite the youngest having longer legs, he was no match for the female and her heels.
When they were about twenty-five feet from the eldest Winchester, Mickey sped up, making it to her boyfriend first. She smacks his hand, slowing down behind him, her heels skidding across the asphalt. A few seconds later, Sam smacks his other hand, his eyes widening slightly. When he stops a few spaces behind his brother, he looks at her, slightly out of breath.
“How…what…the hell…”
“I tried to tell you, Sammy.” Dean turns around, grinning at his younger brother.
“But…She…heels.”
“Girl’s superpower.” Mickey giggles, still out of breath.
“Damn it.” He says, moving his hair from his face.
The eldest Winchester wraps his arm around his girlfriend’s waist, a proud smile on his face.
Flashback Over
Sam was slightly upset, losing his seat for a whole month. He felt so cramped in the back, often moving around so he could get comfortable. He timed it to the day, making sure she got out of the seat as soon as he could. Another good thing that had also happened in that month was celebrating Dean’s 27th birthday, an occasion that they were actually able to celebrate with all three of them being together for the first time in years.
Tumblr media
A little over a month later, at the end of February and the beginning of March, the three of them found themselves in St. Louis, Missouri. And it wasn’t because of St. Louis’ famous ribs, much to the disappointment of Dean and Mickey. The real reason they were in town was due to one of Sam’s old college friends, Rebecca “Becky” Warren, saying that her brother, Zach Warren, was framed for the murder of his girlfriend, Emily.
While at first this may not have seemed like it would be one of the normal cases the Winchesters - or any Hunter for that matter - would take, it didn’t take long for them to realize that they weren’t dealing with a typical, human homicide, but rather a shapeshifter case. At first, the whole thing seemed iffy, especially since Sam’s old college friend claimed that her brother had been with her at the time of the murder, and it’s impossible to be in two places at once.
This was no Harry Potter movie.
Shortly after their arrival in the city often referred to as the Gateway to the West, there was another murder, and just like with Sam’s friend, the suspect in the second case claimed to have been in two places at once. It wasn’t until the shapeshifter had taken on Mickey as a disguise to trick the boys, did the trio realize just what they were dealing with.
Following the case of the second murder, the trio ended up getting separated around the second victim’s apartment building. All when the three of them followed a bloody trail that led into the sewers. While they were down there, they found the evidence they needed that proved that they were dealing with a shapeshifter.
When the shifter attacked the three of them and ran off, they all ran after it, but ended up getting lost in the maze that was the sewers underneath the city. Mickey and Dean continued searching the tunnels, and Sam went back above ground, knowing he’d meet up with his brother and Mickey at the Impala.
Plus, this would give the youngest brother a chance to regroup, get weapons, and possibly even confirm his suspicions about the shifter. Sure enough, as he was locking and loading up with one of his guns, Dean showed up. He freaked out for a solid five minutes when he found out Mickey wasn’t with his brother.
Flashback
“What do you mean she’s not up here?!” Dean says, running his fingers through his hair.
“I mean, I haven’t seen her since we separated. I thought she was with you.” He answers, closing the trunk of the car.
“Son of a bitch!” The eldest Winchester yells out slightly, quickly turning in circles, hoping to catch a glimpse of her somewhere.
“Maybe she's on her way back?”
“She better be. She knows to come back to the car if we separate.” He says, pacing back and forth.
“Of course I do.” Her voice is heard behind them.
Dean whips around to see his girlfriend, walking toward them, a small smile on her face. He immediately runs toward her and wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her close. His other hand comes up and cups the back of her head, holding her close to him as she wraps her arms around his waist.
“What happened down there? One minute you were next to me then the next you were gone?” He whispers.
“I heard a noise. I thought you heard me.” She whispers, hugging him close.
He pulls away and cups her cheek, looking into her hazel eyes for a moment.
“I guess not.” He whispers before speaking louder so Sam can hear him. “You think he found another way underground?”
“Probably.” Sam says, watching the two of them.
Dean nods slightly before biting his lip, just staring at his girlfriend.
“Should we drive around, see if there are any more signs of him?” She asks, softly.
“That would be a good idea.” He answers.
“Can I drive?” Her eyes light up softly.
Without changing his expression, he nods softly. “Of course you can. Sam got the keys.”
She grins before rushing past him to the youngest Winchester. He opens the trunk again, allowing her to look through it to pick her weapon.
“Hey guys, didn’t dad once face a shapeshift in San Antonio?” He asks, glancing toward his older brother.
Dean approaches them and looks at his girlfriend, wanting her to answer.
“Oh, that was Austin.” She answers, looking up from the trunk with a smile. “It turned out not to be a shapeshifter, it was a thought form. A psychic projection, remember?”
“Oh right.” Sam chuckles softly before tossing her the keys. “Here ya go.”
She catches the keys before looking back into the trunk when the brother’s make eye contact. Almost a second later,  the brothers bring up their guns, pointing it directly at the female.
“Don’t move.” Dean says, staring at her with a small glare
She turns and looks at him, raising an eyebrow.
“Dean, what’s going on?”
“What have you done with her?”
“It’s me, guys.” She giggles slightly.
“I don’t think so.” Sam says, never lowering his gun.
“Where’s my girlfriend?” The eldest Winchester asks, his voice deepening to a growl.
“You’re about to shoot her, Dean. Calm down.” Her smile fades from her face.
“Mickey hates driving” He growls. “She only got her license because dad made her in case she needed to get away.”
“I just wanted to drive, babe. It’s not a big deal.” She rolls her eyes.
“She also knows the signals we have.” Dean continues.
“Now, where is Mickey?” Sam speaks up again.
She turns toward him with a sigh. “I’m right here, Sam. Come on!”
“You’re not my girlfriend.” Dean snaps.
“Why don’t you pull the trigger, then?” She glances toward him, discreetly grabbing something from the trunk. “Hmm?”
The eldest Winchester just stares at her, glare clearly on his face.
“It’s because you’re not sure.” She states, watching his hesitation.
Before either Winchester could blink, ‘Mickey’ cracks Dean in the face with the weapon she grabbed from the trunk. A crowbar. The eldest Winchester falls straight to the ground while Sam pulls the trigger of his gun. ‘Mickey’ crouches quickly, dodging the bullet before standing and cracking him in the face as well.
‘She’ glances between both now knocked out men before cracking her neck with a grin, her eyes flashing silver for a moment.
Flashback Over
One thing that the brothers hadn’t accounted for, though, was them being knocked unconscious and taken hostage by the shapeshifter. After Sam had regained consciousness, he figured out that he and Dean were trapped down in the sewers. Nearly 10 minutes later, the brothers realized that Mickey was there too when she made a grunt of discomfort and woke up.
The three of them talked things out, confirming with each other that they were dealing with and how to take care of it. Of course, things weren’t so easy for them. Not that they ever were. On top of the usual, supernatural related obstacles that they encountered on any given hunt, this one had an added one, from humans no less.
They had the FBI on their tails, and were wanting to charge them with a long list of crimes. Including charging Mickey with the brutal attack of Becky using jealousy and calling it a ‘crime of passion’ as the motive for the attack. See, when the shifter had assumed Mickey’s identity, claiming ‘She’s hot. Anyone would believe a hot woman’, it had been invited in, as Becky thought it was Mickey, another girl that she could talk to, and maybe get to know a little more about Sam, especially since he had left college so suddenly.
And the shifter, disguised as Mickey, had brutally attacked Becky, and only left her alive because the SWAT team showed up. While this had been going on, the Winchester trio had been tied up and trapped down in the shifter’s lair in the sewers. By the time they managed to escape, Mickey’s mugshot was plastered across every news station playing on TVs across the city.
They had made their way back to Becky’s house to try and figure out what had happened. Sam went inside, while Dean went to go get the Impala, never wanting to leave his Baby unattended for long, and Mickey ventured back into the sewer alone. Knowing that it would be in her best interest to stay below ground, out of sight from the FBI, she went to track the shapeshifting creature that had made her life a little tricky at the moment.
The eldest Winchester hated splitting up, especially from his girlfriend but right now, it was needed. He knew it would not keep her safe from the shifter, but at least it would buy her enough time from having the FBI on her tail to figure out where the shifter was and come up with a way on how to take care of it.
It didn’t take Mickey long to find her way back to the shifter’s lair, and realize that it had now shifted and taken on Becky’s identity. Due to lack of cell service in the sewers, she was unable to call Sam who was still at his old college friend’s home. And she couldn’t even get in touch with Dean to try and get him to warn Sam.
Mickey knew that she would have to warn her boyfriend’s brother soon, and she had to be quick about it before the shifter could do any harm to the man that had become a younger brother to her over the years. She did the only thing left that she knew she could do and hightailed it out of the sewer tunnels and back to Becky’s house.
She had arrived, just in time, to see Dean shoot at the shapeshifter that had once again disguised itself as her, in an attempt to get it to stop attacking Sam. Watching him kill the shifter that looked like her briefly made her wonder if Dean was 100% certain that it wasn’t actually her before he pulled that trigger, or if it was proof that Dean truly would put protecting his baby brother above anything and anyone, no matter who or what it was.
She got her answer when she stepped into the room, met Dean’s gaze and he’d rushed over to her, glad to see she was unharmed in any way whatsoever. When the police had shown up, Mickey had hid in the Impala to keep up the ruse that she had ‘died’. Whatever story Sam had managed to concoct and spin to the cops had them pinning the murder of Zach Warren’s girlfriend, Emily, on her as well, leaving it as a closed case.
As Dean drove away, with Mickey snuggled up to his side in the passenger seat, wanting to keep her close and Sam sprawled out as much as he could in the backseat, Mickey couldn’t help but joke about how she was missing the one funeral she’d ever be guaranteed to have. And both the brothers couldn’t get over how much they had a sudden disdain for pea soup.
Tumblr media
Two weeks before Mickey’s 27th birthday at the end of March, the Winchester crew were called to Ankeny, Iowa to investigate a series of morally and religiously driven, supernatural related deaths. They knew they had to be the ones on this case because the only witness to the murder reported that the attacker was invisible.
The witness had said that she was in the car with her boyfriend on 9 Mile Road when they heard loud scratching noises. Rich, the boyfriend, had gotten out to check what was going on when he suddenly disappeared from her view. Not even a second later, more scratching noises were heard before a couple loud bangs came from the roof of the car.
When both sounds ceased, she exited the car and began to run toward the wooded area. After getting a strange feeling in her gut, she turned around to find her boyfriend suspended from a tree upside down above the car, meaning he was the one who was making the noises attempting to get help. Needing to blend in, Sam and Dean walked into a fraternity house while Mickey joined the sorority nearby.
While the brothers were in their fraternity house where the victim lived, they found out he was seeing Lori, the daughter of Reverend Sorenson, meaning she was the one that was there that night. Mickey ended up meeting Lori at the sorority house and talked with her for a little bit learning their rooms were a few doors down from one another.
She wanted to wait for Dean and Sam before asking any questions about the case, wanting to get on her good side first. Lori invited her to her father’s service later that day but before she could call her boyfriend and his brother, they were already there, waiting in the pews. After the service, Mickey introduced her new friend to the brothers, allowing them to start questioning her, but they didn’t get any useful information.
The young girl believes she was just seeing things and that something else happened to her boyfriend. When Lori left, the trio talked about the case and decided that it sounds like the Hook Man Legend. Needing more information, they went straight to the library to research the case, knowing that the internet wouldn’t give them anything but ‘fake facts’.
In 1862, a preacher named Jacob Karns killed 13 sex workers using a hook he wore in place of the hand he lost in an accident. He was later arrested and executed. Wanting Mickey to stay close to town, in case of an emergency, the boys traveled to 9 Mile Road in search of the Hook Man but they were discovered by the sheriff, who arrested them.
He wouldn’t allow them to have their one phone call so they weren’t even able to call the unofficial female Winchester. While Mickey was waiting for Lori, she didn’t realize there was another door to enter the building. She ended up falling asleep a few minutes after Lori already was in her room.
A few minutes earlier, she got into a fight with her father about living in the sorority house, which blinded her. She went to her room and discovered a large scratch on the wall but didn’t think anything of it. She went to turn on the light but noticed Taylor, her roommate, was already asleep and decided to keep the light off.
She got ready for bed and laid down, not noticing that Jacob Karns was in her closet. The next morning, she woke up and screamed loudly at the sight of Taylor’s bloody body with the words ‘Aren’t you glad you didn’t turn on the light?’ written in blood on the wall. Mickey immediately ran into the room, shocked by the discovery.
After finally being able to call her, she went and picked up her boyfriend and ‘adopted’ little brother, taking them back to her dorm. With her help, they searched the entire room the best they could without being caught and discovered a cross symbol drawn in the blood that they recognize from their research.
A little more research concluded that there were more killings in the area, also by clergymen. The three of them presumed that the spirit of Karns is latching onto the reverend’s repressed emotions and killing everyone he feels are immoral. They came up with the plan that Sam would stay and watch over Lori while the couple would go find Karns grave.
Lori noticed Sam outside her father’s home and decided to talk to him. She reveals that she feels cursed and that she’s the reason that everyone was dying around her while revealing that her father was having an affair with a married woman. She ends up kissing him, which he does kiss her back but Jess runs through his head, forcing him back, informing her that he can’t do this.
Reverend Sorenson watched from the window and went outside to bring her back in but The Hook Man appeared behind him. He stabbed him with his hook and dragged him back inside the house. Sam ends up saving the Reverends life but the next day, the trio were bemused that burning the corpse didn’t stop Jacob from returning.
Mickey revealed that the hook wasn’t buried with him, it was melted down and made into objects for the church. They rushed back to St. Barnabas Church in hopes of melting down the silver and finally putting an end to the Hook Man. When they entered the church, Sam found Lori sitting in a pew alone, crying.
While Sam talked to her, Dean and Mickey rushed around, finding anything silver and burning it. Sam and Lori had an encounter with the Hook Man, which ended up with the Winchester being stabbed in the shoulder. Before the Jacob Karns can kill Lori, the couple showed up, with Dean shooting the ‘invisible man’.
Confused as to why he was still around after they destroyed all the silver, Sam noticed Lori was wearing a silver necklace. ‘A church heirloom her father gave to her when she started school’, she informed them. He immediately ripped it off her neck and handed it to Mickey, knowing she’s the fastest.
Taking off like a bullet from a gun, she ran as fast as she could to the fire they had started. Back with the brothers and Lori, Karns tries to once again kill Lori, finally having her cornered. When he raised his arm, he froze in his spot, his hook began to melt before he disappeared for good. The next morning, Sam had to be patched up in an ambulance, not wanting to go to the Emergency Room.
Lori made sure to thank him for saving her and her father. The couple watched from a distance, wishing Sam could have the happy ending he deserves.

Deconstructing The LOA, Using the Kybalion
I was actually talking with @birdwizardofficial about this and so, let's begin.
The Basic Premise of the Law of Attraction is that one can manifest a desired outcome into their life through the usage of certain techniques which promote certain sensations. For example, positive thought brings in positive energy, negative thought brings in negative energy and so on. I'm going to reread my copy of the Secret but for now, let's talk about the Laws of the Kybalion in this regard.
First off, the thought-reality pattern. This can be ascribed to the idea of Mentalism, which is the idea that all that is, was and will ever be is the product of the Mind of the All. This idea of the All being the Spiritual Mind of the Cosmos, in which all things happen in accordance with the patterns of thought of this same Mind allows the operant to view the world in a lens that allows them to also use their own Mental Law to aid in their well-being. What is rarely understood is that this entire idea is self-mastery based, it is not necessarily just plain avoidance. The mind is a mess, and as a requirement for well-living, the mind is to be cleaned and mastered. This means that one is required to actively work with the mind, work with the Universal Mind as a result. Let us assume for a moment that what the Saviour said in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene was correct, that visions are mental. This would mean that the mind is the interacting point between the personal self and the Cosmic Mind. It would then also be safe to assume that the mind can be hindered by various ideas and experiences, which are only exaggerated by the direct avoidance of them in pursuit of a faux, temporary happiness. What does not come out in waking is bound to come out in dreaming, or even in a cathartic episode. This then leads to the downward spiral in which the magus, having expressed a part of their mind that was contradictory to a dogma which they had based themselves on, falls into a pattern of guilt and self-blame.
So, positive thoughts and negative thoughts and the duality that exists between them are there, but it is the duty of the magus to manage both, to be the High Priestess and to understand the actual bloody thing and work to improve themselves as a result, rather than ignoring one part for the other which results in an imbalance. By acknowledging and expressing anger, it is then transmuted. By repressing anger, we're just giving it space to do its own thing until it comes back at a later point.
The Second is the idea of the Law of Correspondence, that which exists above will occur below and that which is below will manifest above. This can be considered akin to the idea of Mentalism and the work between the Astral/Energetic and the Physical. We are often told to raise energy in rituals, do trance work, do astral work and this may be considered the reason why. In order to affect a change, we work with what may be a malleable energy, that of the astral or archetypal. Let us say that we are taking the intent for money, we connect to the astral force, or an archetype associated with our intent, and we begin to move things in the astral and align them. The idea of "when the stars are right" applies here. A basic idea can be drawn as follows:
The Intent: The Pure Energy -> Construction -> Grounding -> Manifestation.
This means that we work with an energy of some sort, give a form and intent, give it a basis to work on in the material (such as a candle, a money bowl, the journal prompts, sigils, diagrams) and allow it to come into play. Again, this comes with the above Law of Mentalism, if the magus obtains a mastery and balance in the mind, then their work in the astral will be easier, even if just because they don't become overwhelmed. Additionally, this puts forward the second part, the actual movement. It can be thought that the magus operates on Three Levels:
Mind, Body and Soul Soul representing the aforesaid pure energy Mind representing the things such as intent, study, incantation and the same Body representing not only the material used for the ritual but also the action put into play for it to occur.
If we are creating something in the astral which alters a way that events can work, it would make better sense to go to a point where those events are able to work. Finding a partner, make the pathways for the partner to be found.
The Idea of Vibration:
This is something that bugs me because it is often taken so out of context and is used to favour the faux-positivity. This law speaks on the idea that the differences between points of reality are vibration. Material vibrates at a lesser rate (but even the elements have their own movement and vibration, the atoms in earth are packed and thus solid, the atoms in water are less packed than earth, the atoms in air are less packed than water, ad infinitum). The mind and soul are then at "higher" vibrations and the All-Mind is at the Highest Vibration. Now, let us look at this first:
The Body vibrates at a lower vibration because of one key idea, it is a solid, it is tangible, it is material. The body exists in the material world. What this more so refers to is the mind and soul which are immaterial and again can be cultivated. Theurgy presents High Vibrations, so too does actually working on practical means and methods to obtain those vibrations. If the body did vibrate quicker, sublimation or even just straight up kaboom would occur. The mind being of a "higher" vibration as compared to the All Mind would simply mean an altered or higher state of mind which is prominent in works of Theurgy and Divinization. This can also be considered with its partnering law, the Law of Polarity.
The Kybalion speaks that those who have obtained Mastery over the Law of Vibration have conquered the elements, let us consider this in a basic way found in most occult practices: Invocation
Again, the altered state, the mind being closer towards a particular divinity and, as a result, is better able to see how things are and how they work. Ultimately, it is considered that all people are divine in some capacity or another, the Law of Vibration can be seen as a path to attune to the All-Mind. Again, emotions are said to have an effect on vibration but emotions can be understood, and transformed, and the repression of them does not take away their effect on the vibration.
Now, we come to an interesting detail on the Law of Duality, that is that everything has two poles. Do note that it doesn't so much mention a separate duality as it mentions duality on a single item. Happiness and Sadness can then be considered as reflections of each other on the emotional polarity. If we were to really get into the theology part of this, then all emotions would be considered lower vibration because they are experienced as a response to an event.
We come into another idea which is the Idea of Detachment which is often bastardized from Buddhism. The Idea of Detachment works with the Two Poles by achieving a sort of balance between them. Now what does detachment mean? Put simply, it means the removal of attachment, which means the removal of expectation. When we expect something, we become anxious for it and also experience disappointment if it doesn't come along. Yes, even the expectation of a spiritual identity promoting something is an attachment. Even the expectation that a negative emotion will cause a negative response and a positive emotion will cause a positive response is an attachment. The goal of Detachment is to become an observer which goes along with the first idea of Mentalism, learning and seeing, and gaining control over the mind by working with it because, lo and behold, it is not something separate but it is you. If we did go onto the entire rant of "you're not your body" then you are your mind, and your mind is also flawed and thus, working with it will promote a better life, with or without LOA. Interestingly, the Kybalion also mentions this by saying:
"And yet there are degrees of Hate and degrees of Love, and a middle point in which we use the terms "like" and "dislike," which shade into each other so gradually that sometimes we are at a loss to know whether we "like" or "dislike" or neither. And all are simply degrees of the same thing, as you will see if you will but think a moment."
You are a person liable to human experiences. No amount of manifestation or keeping to one side of the spectrum is going to take away the fact that you have a personal responsibility to yourself and to your life. This means that you also have the responsibility to see your life and to know it, to know yourself.
The Law of Rhythm is the next and is quite well to associate with the spiritual path. Let us consider the idea of a Dark Night (of which there are two). The Dark Night is the retreat, the flow inwards, as compared to its finalization in which the Dark Night ends and then outward movement is experienced. In a similar fashion, this study of the movements to and fro in both nature, life, death, the sea, the lunar cycles, the self and just general existence helps one to manage these rhythms. Trying to stay on one side of the spectrum doesn't dismiss the fact that the spectrum exists.
"They cannot annul the principle, or cause it to cease its operation, but they have learned how to escape its effects upon themselves to a certain degree."
The Principle of Cause and Effect
Every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause and is the cause of its proceeding effect. This goes in line with the Law of Vibration which references the idea that the mind and spirit can work in tandem with Higher Vibration in order to understand the natural works and to, through that, be able to work them rather than be worked by them. This means, however, that the idea of personal responsibility is to be taken in order to actually work with the Polarities, with the Vibrations, with the actual spectrum of Human Life and learn to manage it, handle it and not become worked.
The Principle of Gender
This is actually an issue for me because I've never considered gender to have any basis in religion, according to Genesis, the creation of the Man precedes the Creation of the Body itself which means that the soul would've been something unified, a sort of Baphomet-esque figure. Therefore, it is a duality which should be considered under the idea of the Law of Polarity.
Tumblr media
This is a table from Benebell Wen's Tao of Craft which I feel best represents the rhythms and ideas of Duality and how they work together with each other, rather than against each other.
---
TLDR:
The Mind is liable to human experience, rather than trying to deny yourself humanity, allow yourself to experience, to learn and to manage the rhythms which occur in yourself, in life, and use these to your advantage, basically: eat when you need to eat, sleep when you need to sleep, drink when you need to drink.
Emotions are manifestations of the same bloody thing, if you really want to overcome it and become a better person, maybe look at Stoicism and taking responsibility for your whole self, negative and positive.
Detachment refers to the idea of expectation rather than attachment to physical reality which applies to all parts of the being.
The body is lower vibration because it is solid, the mind and soul are of varying vibrations because they are immaterial, since the All-Mind is of an indiscernible vibration but what we may assume as something apposite to the world in some means or another, then the idea is less about using your vibration as a means to get something but as a means to obtaining enlightenment or resonance with the All-Mind.
Since emotions can be considered a part of the mind and the mind itself is manifested in the actual selfhood, they don't go anywhere, they don't suddenly disappear. To master the mind is to learn all its faculties, including those little negative aspects.
The Idea of Polarization without having experience the polarities is flawed because we are then subject to Rhythm, that is to say that by constantly acknowledging this positive aspect rather than trying to balance out the positive and negative aspects, you will be hit harder by the negative aspect, as a result, what you feel as a failure because you didn't stay positive will result in a downward spiral based on guilt, anxiety and so on. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Yes, I'm largely writing this post from a non-duality basis. I don't believe in dualities, I believe in spectrums. If you want to master or improve the human experience, then experience it and learn what you can do to master it.
Ignorance is Bliss until Realization occurs.

Summary:based off the 2012 episode were they seen their fears, you see yours but it makes you angry and you attack Donnie
Warning: there might be some triggering things like talking about the past of someone.
Version:2014/16
Donatello didn't know what happened to you but he knew that what ever happened wasn't good cause there you were in his lab sweating, looking around scared, and you were gripping your leg to the point it bleed. He didn't know what was happening but ever since you guys (you and the turtles) got back from your mission the boy he knows and loves isn't there. And it only got worse and no Donnie couldn't go near you because ever time he does you scream but not the kind of startle scream no like the kind were your actually scared terrified actually. So instead of having you scream bloody Mary he just sat back and watched hoping this wasn't to bad and it will all he over soon. Oh how wrong he was. He left to go get something not even 5 minutes he was gone. But when he came back you were on the ground sitting on your legs with your hands in front of you. He could see the sweat going along your arms and how tense you were. Just by seeing you like this caused him to panic. So he ran over there only for you to look up then scream the scream that shows actually fear. You tried to stand up but for some reason your legs couldn't so you tried to crawl as fast as you could trying to get away from Donnie. But it wasn't Donnie you were scared of, it was a person the gave you your greatest fear, this person was all you could see. Everyone around you was this person and even though they are doesn't mean there saying the same things. You could hear Donnie bit this person is drowning him out. All you can hear is the mocking laughs and this person screaming its all your fault. And everything else is pitch black. Donnie grabbed your belt and pulled you towards him to try and calm you down only for another terrified scream. He tried he really did but his heart broke everytime he heard that scream. And he figured you finally thought he was a monster. But he seen your eyes and knew it wasn't him your scared of. Your irises are turning white same with your pupils just a darker shade of white. He let you go knowing he's making it worse. He wants to ask for help but he knows that won't help so he locks down his lab just to keep you safe And hopefully your fear can decrease. By time went on it got worse to the point your fear was turning to angry. While Donnie was standing on the phone with April you watched him only seeing a person who taught you the meaning of fear the wrong way. Your eyes were almost completely white and it was getting darker for you. So you charged at Donnie quicker than ever before. It was like you weemre turning in something that's not human but no time to think of that. While you charged at Donnie April got confused since the phone randomly got cut off and she only thought the worse. You had tackled Donnie and was now straddling him. You and grapped his face basically trying to change it. Not wanting to see their face you had an iron grip on his face and kept saying your not real. Donnie didn't fight since he knows it won't work that amount of fear running through your body isn't good so him attacking will only make it worse. But he did try and talk to you.
"Y/n hey listen it's me okay it's Donnie"
You couldn't hear him but he wasn't giving up.
"Hey y/n I know your scared but you have to listen okay i don't know what your seeing but I promise you it's not real okay"
It was starting to work he just had to be louder than their voice.
"Y/n I understand your scared but pleae trust me okay it's me Donatello I'm not who or what you see okay it's your friendly red ear slider turtle"
Hearing the word turtle seemed to work but just enough for you to tell it's Donnie and not them.
"Donnie"
"Yes its me Donnie I'm trying to help you but you have to let me"
You nodded but didn't move just removed your hands from his hand.
"How can I help you y/n. I can't see in your head so I can't just know how"
You didn't look at his face. You grapped his hands.
"Just please don't move your hands from were I put them"
Donnie nodded and watched as you put his hands over your ears and closed tour eyes. And he did just as you asked. He kept his hands over your wars and didn't move them until you feel asleep and fell on his plastron and since you were taller than him you almost head butted him. He putted you up with a tad bit of struggle and took You to his bed. He sat you down before climbing in with you. he didn't know what you seen or heard but he hopes it doesn't happen again he doesn't think he would be able to see you go through that pain again. But he's glad your okay. Before Donnie went to sleep sith you he kissed your forehead and watched you smile in your sleep. He smiled awell before finally going to bed.
A/n:Hi i hoped you enjoyed.

RANDY MARSH IS A CLONE lets talk about one of my favorite south park characters - randy marsh! or rather, about how much he has changed through all 25 seasons, turning from a geologist and a loving father into a selfish drug addict. the main question is - what caused him to change? (spoiler: it's not because of weed)
my friend came with a theory that randy, who we see in recent seasons, is actually a clone. initially it was just a joke, but i tried to seriously look into this theory and we came up with a conclusion, that it really fits into events of the show. now we will chronologically look through all the things, which have happened to randy, based on our hypothesis.
at first, randy is shown as an ordinary middle-aged man. he has a wife and kids, his job is a geologist and his character is pretty phlegmatic and apathetic. randy is hungry for public approval and admiration, so he fills this need with pretty common ways - benefits the society with his geologist work. he's not a perfect father, often expressing indifference towards stan's problems, but nothing out of ordinary. he's a simple man.
the 302 episode "Spontaneous Combustion". this episode plays a big role in our theory. the citizens of South Park start to randomly explode and randy is the one to come up with a solution, despite being a geologist and not having much knowledge in human anatomy. randy is awarded with a noble prise, which frustrates his opponent - doctor mephesto, who thinks the prize should go to himself for his seven assed Galapagos Turtle. he gets revenge on randy by blaming him for the arising global warming. the man falls into despair, his prize gets taken away, but thanks to kyle, stan and the Bible (could there be any religious subtext?) he saves the town once again. everyone's happy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but mephesto wasn't shown. what's his reaction? is he mad for not getting his vengeance? or.. did his revenge succeed?
despite mephesto being known for his many-assed animals, in episode 105 we see his new creation - stan marsh's clone. this clone was very flawed and unintelligent, but his son worked on it for the most part. anyhow, mephesto is capable to create a human clone and he already practised on randy's close relative - his son. doctor could've actually create randy's clone behind the scenes, replacing the real one. real randy is either dead or was kidnapped by mephesto.
Tumblr media
now let's see what exact changes did "randy" go through. in my opinion, all notable traits of our new randy marsh (the clone), such as selfishness and alcohol/drug addiction, were present in the real randy, but were far less severe. these flaws became the key part of clones character, progressing as the show went on; he turns into a more unbearable man. but the clone seems to have its own temperament - he became more hot-headed, comparing to the real randy, and is way too fanatic and immature. overall, the clone acts differently, even in his manner of speech.
episode 308 "Two Guys Naked in a Hot Tub". it's hard to tell if the actual randy had a repressed attraction to men, or it's just the clones trait, but that doesn't matter. the events of the episode can hardly be called abnormal, but the plot is interesting - it's realistic and could've possibly happen to an ordinary person. randy is shown to have a familiar to the viewers temperament, unlike in first seasons or the crucial 302 episode.
episode 616 "My Future Self 'N Me" - randy cuts off mans hand (without particular reasoning). it is also necessary to note that his attitude to marijuana is rather skeptical and he's afraid of stan becoming a drug addict.
episode 914 "Bloody Mary" focuses on randys developing alcoholism, selfishness and infantilism.
episode 1109 "More Crap" - randy breaks the record of his most largest crap. should i add anything else?
episode 1206 "Over Logging" reveals randys unusual sexual tendencies, featuring proclivity for zoophilia, which affirms in season 24.
episode 1403 "Medicine Fried Chicken" - here randy really loves weed and is ready to obtain testicular cancer for it. throughout the show, his love for drugs becomes stronger and more uncontrollable.
episode 1414 "Creme Fraiche" once again touches the topic of randys sexuality; he develops a food fetish, becoming obsessed with it.
throughout all these episodes randys egoism, obsession, addiction tendencies progress. the climax of all his traits - things he goes through after moving to Tegridy Farms. i feel like they don't require further explanation..
next thing i want to discuss is unusual physical characteristic or even superpowers randy possesses, that have appeared in last seasons. it is another proof of randy being a clone.
2401 "The Pandemic Special" - for some reason, not many people joke or discuss this episode, but it plays a major role in our theory. randys DNA not only literally caused the covid-19, but also served as a cure to it. this is not a typical thing for humans organism to have.
in 2506 "Credigree Weed St. Patrick's Day Special" randys superpowers are shown for the first time, which he uses to escape from the prison. he just shoots rainbows with clovers, nothing strange about that.
"South Park: The Streaming Wars Part One" - in this special his superpowers took a hold of him, randy turns into his second (after lord) female alter-ego - karen. he causes chaos, while his egoism and racial prejudices progress even further. his insanity and sudden destructive superpowers even lead to amnesia. his "magic" became different, more devastating, comparing to his leprechaun persona.
i think it's important to put forward this theory right now, when the second part of streaming wars was released not too long ago. this exact special made it clear, that the whole show and characters (including randy-clone) understand, whats happening to him, while mocking fans for hating Tegridy Farms and asking to bring "the old randy" back. but that randy is gone. weed didn't cause randy to change, he kept the mayhem going even while being sober. because that wasn't even randy marsh. it's just that the show prefers to focus on mephestos creation, spiraling out of control.

-During the weeks Dean spent looking for Cas in purgatory, Dean prays to Cas every night. Until one night he decides it's not worth it.
And Cas spends all night worried Dean died, until Dean resigns to starting up again the next night.
-It's "Carry On". Cas slips away from heaven and cuts out his grace, planning on living out his life with Sam and Dean. He's fully human. He gets there just in time to meet Sam. On his way back from the barn. Too late. Dean's gone.
-Jack moves back into the bunker and adopts another snake. It escapes and Cas and him look for it for hours.
They find the snake on the kitchen floor with Dean standing on the table trying/failing to look casual about it.
-Sam watches Cas make and slide Dean a cup of coffee in the morning. "Cas, why do you always make Dean a cup of coffee in the mornings?" "I like the taste of coffee." "You never make yourself a mug-" And realizes and Dean is just dying.
-After his wings are restored, Dean has Cas fly him back in time just so he can purchase a replacement of that wine colored carhartt shirt his loves, because it's discontinued.
-They're not together yet. Dean comes home to find a single rose in his room, like Cas was going to give the manager from Heaven Can't Wait. Only Cas could have left it. Bonus: This idiot can't figure out what it means.
-Post Despair, Sam walks by room 7b one evening and overhears Dean inside. He sneaks a peek and Dean is just sitting against the wall, eyes closed, bottle in his hands, "telling Cas" about his day.
-It's not that Cas CAN'T fly, it's that it'll burn him out with the rest of his grace and he won't survive it. They're surrounded. Cas grabs his hand and it's over before Dean even knows what happened.
-It's Tombstone, but it's not Cas. It's just a shapeshifter or leviathan. Dean doesn't test him and gets himself killed, from his brief perspective, by Cas' hands.
-Jack starts flying Cas around as often as he can because he notices Cas misses being able to fly badly.
-Dean never wears sunscreen because Cas always just heals him at the end a long day outdoors. The first outing after Cas is human Dean gets the worst sunburn of his life. Bonus: Sam made sure Cas wore his sunscreen, so he's fine.
-Cas returns to the bunker s15 after Mrs. Butter's leaves. Jack is distressed that Cas missed it all. The first night when everyone is asleep Cas finds Jack in the map room with an un-carved pumpkin, a poorly wrapped Christmas gift, and a smile for him.
-After Cas is taken by the empty and Chuck is defeated, Dean can't bring himself to talk to Sam about it. He ends up going to Jody and breaking down, telling her everything and letting her comfort him.
-Charlie dresses up Cas as the 10th Doctor for Halloween ("You basically already dress up as him anyway!") and afterwards Cas won't wear anything BUT converse.
-Cas comes back to the motel room to find Kaia with a salt filled shotgun aimed at Dean. Claire is painting his nails while Dean looks ready to murder everyone in a five mile radius.
-Sam, Dean, and Cas trying to walk on a frozen pond and none of them even halfway have their footing.
-Season 8. Dean for some reason ends up hunting, like ACTUALLY hunting deer. Things go wrong and then worse. Dean ends up disarmed and running from an angry territorial buck. Cas straight up has to fly in and smite a deer for him. (Prompt by Matt)
-"Goodbye Stranger" but Cas doesn't break out of it in time. He just stands there after it's done, expecting it to reset like it always does in the warehouse. Another death. A new Dean. Except it never does. He comes back to himself and it's too late.
-Cas' bunker closet consists of one tan coat, a suit, three blue ties, a single pair of shoes, a sentimental cowboy had and thirty seven old band shirts he's stolen from the back of Dean's closet when he's not looking.
-Dean keeps putting "kick me" post-it notes on Sam's back and Jack and Cas keep just obeying them because they don't know not to. Bonus: Eileen figured it out a long time ago, but thinks it's even funnier than Dean does.
-Cas starts entering Dean's dreams like he did with the dock in season 4. He helps Dean fight back the nightmares every night while he sleeps.
-Dean burns both of their cowboy hats when he can't have a proper pyre because The Empty didn't leave him a body.
-Set in the episode "Carry On". Sam having to pull his brother's boneless cooling body up off that nail. Having to drag him out and cover it. He's never built a pyre alone. He's never been the one to wrap the shroud. And he's never burnt Dean before.
-Sam drags Cas and Dean out to investigate a case at a resort, but there is no case, Sam is just forcing Dean to take a god damn vacation the only way he knows how.
-Human Cas, established Destiel.
Dean notices Cas buys this fruity strawberry shampoo, and he hates it. But seeing it's what Cas likes, he buys it next time they’re out.
Cas notices Dean buys this fruity strawberry shampoo, and he isn't a fan. But seeing it's what Dean likes, he buys it when they run out again.
Sam snuck the shampoo in there to fuck with them.
-Months after the empty took Cas, Dean has to move Cas' truck. When he turns it on, THE MIX TAPE™ is playing. Dean barely keeps it together.
He needs a distraction, maybe something with Sam. He opens his computer and searches. A pie festival. Perfect.
-Claire calls Dean and prays to Cas individually for backup on a case. When they get there she locks them both in a warded closet and tells them they can't come out of the closet until they 'come out of the closet'.
-Dean's Birthday: Cas surprises him with a Betta fish and Dean has literally no idea what to make of it.
-Dean's birthday: They host a surprise party for him, but he has the reflex reaction like being woken up in Tombstone.
-Dean's birthday: He's turning 12 and they're at Bobby's and he's making sure it's the best he can manage.
-Dean's birthday: It's the year Sam is away at college. His dad is hunting separately. He is alone.
-Dean's birthday: Dean walks into an utterly destroyed bunker kitchen and is presented a plate of cookies by an excited and flour covered Jack. (Bonus, Cas helped and is somehow more of a mess.)
-Dean's birthday: Cas/Sam/Eileen/Jack are all celebrating with him at a diner.
-Dean's birthday: Cas gives him a mixtape.
-Dean's birthday: Crowley sends some sort of clearly thoughtful but wildly demonic present to his doorstep.
-Dean's birthday: He's choppin off vamp heads, blood flying, wearing a blood splattered birthday hat.
-Dean's birthday: Dean comes home to find one of every type of pie that can be bought laid out across the map table with like 30 cans of whipped cream.
-Dean's birthday: Cas and him sitting, watching the sun set. "Was it a good birthday?" "It was."

Hi! I'm rewatching S4 (and re-reading your TAB meta :) and I have a couple of questions. When do you think Sherlock tells John about Mary? Right after the Tarmac scene? I imagine something like this. S: John, I lied about Mary, she didn't save my life, but Magnussen was our priority... John: Yeah, I know u lied. I haven't forgiven her. I know she's dangerous. She bloody shot u" And when does Mary find out that they're trying to take her down? (Oh, I need to see why she wanted them to leave Baker Street in TSOT) Have a nice day!
The tab meta
Yeah pretty much lol, I think Sherlock would tell him right away as soon as they had a moment alone and they'd immediately formulate a plan proposed by Sherlock to keep up appearances and communicate without arousing Mary's suspicions, which is where the whole emotional cheating subplot in TST comes in.
I'm of two minds about what happens when Mary runs away, if anyone has recent-ish meta about the Mary/Ajay/TST conflict please link it, but if we're to lean towards the simpler/literal interpretation (which we shouldn't be doing by default with these episodes) and Mary is the one running away, she does it immediately after John writes a made up scene with Sherlock confronting Ajay (John mirror) about the USB drive, like truly one of the bluest blue scenes in series 4, which has all this information when the real drive that John had was probably empty like the AGRA chest, and also it flashes to John's POV when Sherlock is on screen to a conversation he wasn't present for, so I assume that's when John found the information he needed and that's when Mary also caught on, but she would've also been preparing to fake her death already. At that point her and Moriarty could've been planning long term to manipulate John into killing himself as the ultimate revenge against Sherlock, or maybe Mary took things into her own hands and the plan adapted to get revenge on John in a personal way, but either way it's a great setup to making Moriarty and Mary perfect villains against Sherlock and John. Mary wanting them to leave the loft reminds of the updated M-Theory that Mycroft and thus Moriarty have cameras and spyware all over the place.
I do love the idea of John being blunt with Sherlock about how he tried to manipulate him in the HLV loft scene lmao. "She bloody shot you" exactly. Like he looks like he's about to attack Mary when Sherlock is being hauled away by the paramedics. The six months before the tarmac scene could also be an element in play, but either way John is ready to play along with the marriage by the time he makes the vague threat to Mary during christmas. I think he'd be more angry (or maybe I'm projecting because I'm so angry for John because the fandom is doing this by proposing Sherlock is dreaming series 4 lol) because Sherlock is underestimating how smart he can be, though he might not actually say that and he loves Sherlock and is still willing to follow him and look after him after his relapse. That's why I love that series 4 is John's blog so much, because he isn't as cunning as Sherlock in the same way but he's very emotionally observational/intelligent in a way that Sherlock thinks he isn't and is able to convince the entire world the story is true by anticipating what people think, what they expect, what their preconceptions are (intra-universe and irl), and when series 5 opens, convince Sherlock and Mary/Moriarty that he's dead.

So... I watched the Owl House.
AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
I might have a problem or two with the narrative choices, but MAN, what a show. I really look forward to next episodes!
Of course, my favorite characters are Eda, King, Hooty and Hunter. HUNTER IS SO SO PRECIOUS OH MY GOODNESS
He has Zuko vibes. HE IS A BABY!
I love Lulu and Hootsifer dynamics
Eda is like, the best character I've ever seen. Kinda Gruncle Stan vibes, but... well, she is a little less pathetic in emotions stuff.
King is just perfect. I didn't expect him to have a character arc, but man, did I need it. I like the way he is being developed, and have high hopes for him. Dude, even HOOTY is getting a character arc! C'mon, this show knows what its doing.
I love Willow and Gus, they are precious and soooo cute! I love how Willow can be strong AND fragile depending of what is demanded of her.
Lilith... I don't really know what to say about her. She is very funny, and exhales chaotic energy some times. I like her.
The pacing of the show is very fast, but not dumb. There are just... a few problems with the logic. Like, why didn't Lilith just took Luz and used it to bribe Eda? Or why didn't the Emperor send better agents to catch her? How come all those guards with Lilith couldn't even cast a spell to make Hoody sleep or something like that?
Despite that the show is quite consistent, carrying the plot ahead using what they estabilished and stabilishing new things.
I left the best for the end. I absolutely adore Luz and her role. I was afraid she might turn into a Mary Sue, like some other main characters I've seen, but she actually feels like a normal person. She has virtues and makes bad decisions sometimes, and I love that.
She may have some character inconsistensies sometimes (like being super attentive to how other people feel in one episode than being completely oblivious in other one) but it never really took out my imersion.
I liked the way they built up Lumity, that was really well developed. And I like the way they never make the bullies irredeemable, because they are just children. OH, I WISH OTHER SHOWS AND FANDOMS COULD UNDERSTAND THIS. HAHA, RIGHT? BECAUSE NO CHILD IS IRREDEEMABLE THOMAS BLOODY ASTRUC-
Ok, sorry, I got a little carried away. I loved how Amity was introduced and her development, same for the other kids. They show her flaws and her virtues, like a real person. I love that. She was never too bad or too good. I could keep talking about it all day.
Best of all, I love the mocking they do to Harry Potter sometimes. Its just HILARIOUS! (The sorting hat eating the students, the headmaster having favorites, the magic games having a cheap way to win, etc.)
But I also noticed some weird narrative similarities between this show and Gravity Falls. Yeah, I know some people in the crew belonged to GF, but man, this is too similar. Sometimes and could actually predict what would happen based in Gravity Falls. I may dissert about it in some other post.
I love the references and memes they put in the show, it's priceless. And the worldbuilding? Gorgeous. I'd like to know some more about the boiling isles and if there is more places in the magical world, but I think that is going to be explored latter.
Sometimes I get real hard Star vibes from the show and get scared (I hated the ending and the creative choices made in that cartoon), but it always manages to surprise me for the better.
I think Lumity should have waited more to become canon, but I think its a very bold move to have Luz and Amity already together, giving space to develop their dynamic in a relationship.
As I said, I look forward to the next episodes!
Unpopular Opinion: They also did better representation in 1 season and a half than the whole Steven Universe show

See y'all next time!

how would you describe Stan and randys relationship?
Oh God I have some thoughts.
Well I think that Randy legitimately loves Stan. I also think that despite Stan saying 'I hate you' to Randy recently that Stan still legitimately loves his dad, too. It's just getting harder and harder to express his frustration for Randy and for living on Tegridy Farms as a whole because using his actual words has gotten shot down HARD. Especially considering the Pandemic Special it's hard to root for Randy, but I think that if they still lived in town their relationship would be mostly fine, and I think if they moved back to town their relationship would be mostly recoverable from where it's at.
But as a whole until recently I think their relationship was close. Yeah Stan was embarrassed by Randy....a lot... at things like baseball games. But he's also defended his dad despite being embarrassed by him. He's also sincerely smiled at and wanted to spend time with Randy, doing fun things together. He's also consistently had no problem with telling his parents when things are wrong with him on a personal level. He talks to them over dinner when things go bad without any arm-twisting, and really without even hiding anything. Even now that Randy is extremely dismissive, Stan says outright to his parents that he wants to move back to his old home. Even with being repeatedly ignored, they DO have a relationship where he feels safe and comfortable enough to voice his feelings about stuff like that, or about having bad days at school-- getting bad grades, not getting along with kids, whatever. He hides very little about himself from either of his parents unless he has to to sneak out to hang out with his friends or something of that nature.
What he DOES hide more of recently is his depression. Not over things like wanting to go home. He does say what would make his life easier. What he actually WANTS. But the depth of being sad, the degree to which he's struggling is very uniquely something he does not talk to his parents about. In the Pandemic Special
Sharon How was school, Stanley?
Stan It's not school! It's a freakin' joke. We're not even learning anything.
Sharon I know this has all been really hard on you, Stanley. Do you wanna talk about it?
Stan No, I'm fine, Mom! You know, I'm strong. I'm just worried about how this is all affecting weaker kids like, you know, like Butters.
Sharon Yeah. Well, it's nice you care about our friend, but if you need to talk... I know this is really hard on everyone.
Like it's not even that he's not talking to his friends out of embarrassment. He's also not talking to his parents about it. And WHY he's not is right there: he wants to seem strong for them. But why is that?
And that's something that comes down to, primarily, his relationship with Randy. It is honestly, truly, filled not only with love but like. He often has a good and friendly relationship with Randy when he's not being embarrassed by him. It is also filled with dysfunction. That's true for his entire family dynamic (like his parents breaking up and getting back together a million times), but a lot of its focal point is Randy, plus that's what the ask's about so I'll hone in on that lol.
One of my very favorite, like hands-down VERY FAVORITE Randy and Stan moments is the end of Bloody Mary after they talk about going home and Randy gives him a piggy back ride.
Tumblr media
I love the hell out of this. There aren't that many moments on South Park, collectively, where you can say parents and kids actually like hanging out together. This is a moment where it is clear as day that Stan and Randy love each other and WANT to spend time together. Randy loves his son. Stan WANTS his father.
It's also come at the end of an entire episode of Stan having to play the adult while his dad plays the child because he's an alcoholic. He's had to take on the role many alcoholics' kids take and tend to his dad's emotional and physical needs-- even, at eight years old having to drive his dad around because it's ON HIM to get his dad help, or Randy will just drive himself and risk getting in a car crash or getting arrested and spending 10 years away from his family. As a side note, this episode is a fantastic foil to recent seasons: in this episode, Stan actually drives the car to keep his dad from getting arrested, because he loves Randy and wants him there at home. In recent episodes, Randy is again threatened with being thrown in jail for a long time and Stan is filled with relief just because it means he can finally go back home. That is a big, big, important change.
Moments like that, moments where he's loved his dad with his whole, entire heart and put himself at risk to protect Randy, have affected his ability to share the things that make him weak. That make him have to really be the child, taken care of for more than a day or two. He might ask to go to the doctor, he might say something's wrong-- but the extended support, the actual admittance that he's not coping well, is difficult for him to talk about because he's been slammed into the caretaker role with Randy since he was in the third grade at the LATEST.
The change has been depression. And not just Stan's. That's made it difficult for Stan to talk about things, sure. But the entire family has been depressed.
You're Getting Old:
Randy Because I'm unhappy, okay?! I've been unhappy for a long time! [Sharon reflects on this for a moment and her voice goes soft] Sharon I'm unhappy too. We both are, obviously. How much longer can we keep doing this? It's like, the same shit just happens over and over and, then in a week it just all resets until- it happens again. Every week it's kind of the same story in a different way but it, it just keeps getting more and more ridiculous.
Randy I don't know if I've changed or you have. I just feel like I might not have a whole lot of time left and... I want to enjoy it.
Sharon I want to enjoy it too, but... I can't fake it anymore. You just seem kind of shitty to me.
Randy You kind of seem shitty to me too.
Sharon People get older, Randy. People grow apart.
Ass Burgers:
Sharon [somber and unsure] We talked a lot and, we know it's what's best for you kids and, I don't know...
Stan No, Mom, sometimes you've got- a left turn.
Sharon People get older, Stanley. And as you get older you realize... the best thing to do is just... stick with what you know.
Dead Kids:
Sharon There's been another school shooting. Stan's been shot.
Randy Shuh-should we get down there?
Sharon [Sighs] It's not the end of the world. [smiles]
Randy [sighs in relief] Aaaaah. I love you, Sharon. [they hug as he cries on her shoulder]
Tegridy Farms:
Randy I am seriously over it. Don't you just wanna start over? Go back to simpler times?
Sharon What do you mean?
Randy I've had it. School shootings, pieces of shit taking Ambien and tweeting, priests raping kids, and somehow... I'm not laughing anymore. Let's do it, Sharon. What I've always talked about. Let's get out of here. Go buy a farm and live off the land.
Sharon Are you being serious?
Randy Never been more serious.
Randy and Sharon have been depressed. They've been struggling. They struggled as a couple. They struggled separately. And they continue to struggle after getting back together. They continue to be depressed and miserable and feel the weight of the entire town of South Park. They struggle so much against the weight of everything that's fucked up, that they eventually cave to 'fucked up' being 'normal' and just...don't care when Stan's shot. Even though they do, ACTUALLY, love him. They're just so worn down.
So they make a radical change and move to Tegridy, where they can get a fresh start and be happy.
Except they aren't.
Sharon, Stan, and Shelly all think it sucks and say so. They're willing to chalk it up as a failure, even when it seems to have nothing to do with making enough money to stay afloat. They're all in agreement they should just go back home because moving has done nothing to fix what was actually wrong with them.
Randy fights it.
But the thing is, Randy's depressed too. He thinks Tegridy, his dream, sucks too. He's still depressed. He's still an alcoholic. And both things are worse than before. He's seen drinking more. He's seen going on more hard drug benders than in earlier seasons. He is miserable and he is spiraling.
The reason he can't admit it is because he and Stan are a lot alike. Admitting Tegridy Farms isn't making him happy is the same as Stan admitting that the weird quest he tried to rope Kyle to going on to fix his cynicism wouldn't have helped. When it comes down to it they're both faced with admitting that the problem is them. That they're just cynical, depressed, miserable. That where they are, who they're with, isn't going to change that. They've both turned to their addictions to cope. They're both shorter-tempered than before.
The family as a whole is in a terrible mental space.
So Stan and Randy's relationship is dysfunctional in the way real world relationships are dysfunctional. They love each other. They even just like each other. They will protect each other. But Stan's been pushed from being the child to being a parent by, at the absolute latest, third grade. He grew up with this as his normal. And yeah, when he was younger he was aware enough it was embarrassing, but when he was younger he could kind of handle it. He still loved his dad. He still wanted to spend time with his dad. The embarrassing stuff was like, a quirk. Just a 'well you know how my dad is' shrug of the shoulders. He was still happy and healthy, naive in many ways to alcohol abuse and mental instability. He could handle it even if it wasn't a good dynamic, and even if he knew it wasn't normal.
Stan's becoming depressed himself, becoming an addict himself, and losing the innocence of childhood that protects you from the bad things the world holds. He's becoming more and more weighed down, but because of his dynamic with his family, and Randy in particular, he's just kind of stuck with it. Telling his friends feels like a burden. Telling his family feels like a burden. He's been trying to help himself, both in unhealthy ways like addiction, and in healthy ways like making new friends and playing card games/board games. But it's hard. And his and his dad's problems are feeding off of each other. Stan and Randy are very much alike. In good ways, and in terrible ways.
Even their best as we know it on South Park isn't normal or a situation Stan should be in. But I do think that Randy loves his son and even now at its worst I do think that Stan loves Randy-- he's just so ridiculously exhausted he can't stand his dad at all. They need a lot of help to get to a healthier place but I think there's a core there that could facilitate it in a way I don't think is possible with some other family relationships in SP.

12x06 - Mary is Dean - So Jody Mills, You Learn that Boy Some Soft
Sam and Dean stop at Jody’s - Their mom has walked out and maybe they needed some motherly affection from Platonic mom Jody.                                                                 -  or  - Dean needs to hear that you can both be badass AND have feelings watch chick flicks. Whhhaaaaaahhhhh?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Toxic Feminity. [“Pick a bloody side!” ‘Or What?’] I don’t think it’s a coincidence that in this episode we get Max Banes, a cute and openly gay witch who hunts with his sibling. Below the cut for analysis of 12x06, Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox (cont. under the cut)
Mary is being portrayed as a stand in for Dean, or at least Performing!Dean.  In 12x03 she likes Bacon! She likes loud music! We must be the saaaaammmme peeeerrrrrson. ‘We are so related.’
Tumblr media
When we met young Mary in ‘In the Beginning’ she was a stand in for Sam.  Mary wanted to get out of that hunter life her father brought her up in, she got dragged in by tragedy but that wasn’t her goal.  Like Sam, Mary has come to be drawn to hunter life by 12x06 to hide in it from her pain.
Instead, in season 12, the show has made Mary a stand in for Dean.  Mary had herself her very own muscle car as a stand in for performance personality baby, she was ‘saving people. hunting things.’ she inspired another hunter ... but that’s a different essay.  [Common! Bacon and loud music guys! they are like, clearly the same person!] Mary is scared.  She blames herself for everything the Winchesters have endured, not just in the 12 years of the show but over their entire lives.  If Mary hadn’t have made the demon deal, she reasoned, none of it would have happened.
[Okay let’s just move on and not note that actually Sam was always going to be Lucifer’s perf vessel and Dean, Michael’s, and let’s FURTHER ignore the fact that John would have been dead and Mary would have been single mom to Dean and Sam wouldn’t have existed. Not mentioning, because it does not matter, nope. nope. nope. ahem. anyway.]
It’s not just bacon - it’s about guilt - it’s about not feeling you are deserving of love - that you deserve to be saved.   I have just NO IDEA WHO THAT MIGHT SOUND LIKE. [cue Cas/Misha in my brain].
With this cloud hanging over Dean, the boys go to visit Jody and we learn the truly shocking news.  Jody. Watches. Chick Flicks. Mind. Blown. Yes, Dean, you aren’t the only one. You don’t have to hide your secret shame. We already know that you like chick flicks.  You admitted it in the season 11 finale.
Now that we’ve established that, Jody can challenge him on actual feelings once Mary shows up.   Awww, surrogate mom meets Mary mom.
“Is that why you spent the entire ride up here telling me in extreme excruciating detail about how you killed Hitler but uh, you neglected to mention that somehow your mom is back from the dead?”
Jody might be teaching Dean that it’s okay to have feelings. But fake Dean Mary has some learnin’ to do too.   Billie is talking about Mary the way she will later talk about dean in season 13 .  But now Dean can step up and talk about feelings, sort of.  Mary’s learning that she didn’t just condemn Asa, she saved him and he saved others.
Mary: “I didn’t ask to come back here” Billie: “No, you didn’t, and you hate it. You’re all alone.” Dean: “Well, she’s not alone.   ... Billie says if Mary dies she can give Mary a ‘one way ticket upstairs’ Mary looks at the boys, clearly worried they are about to lose her again, and tells Billie, “Well... Then... Then I guess you’re just going to have to wait.”
Dean watched this - Dean’s learning that model him is choosing to live over going straight to heaven.  Both characters develop, continuing to move that needle.  There’s a reason this episode title focuses on the life of Asa Fox, not the death. In a few short episodes Sam and Dean will make a deal with Billie, prepared to trade one of their lives to progress the story.  Mary steps in, ready to trade the life she may not even want for their lives.
It’s Cas that will step in, kill Billie, and lose his absolute shit at them again like DEAN YOU CAN’T KEEP DOING THIS TO ME. STAY ALIVE. -  FUCKING WINCHESTERS!   - [Just love for Cas and what he does to this fam and comment if you think that car scene involved holding hands.]
Dean’s daddy Kripke ending didn’t have him learn, didn’t have him change, didn’t have his character develop from believing that the only way for Dean to find peace was to die, in a blaze of glory. If Mary can learn that there is value in staying alive - trying to return to the Mary that was yearning for family life, then so can Dean.
This continues in the clues as to why the finale was so tragic to fans.   Finale Dean died the way Kripke always envisioned, he got Chuck’s Dean after we spent 15 years watching this performing!boy grow into a [more anyway] emotionally mature man. Dean was on a 15 year arc of overcoming this nonsense, overcoming toxic masculinity, overcoming trauma response, this self hatred.
Finale!Dean doesn’t have to be your headcanon. And that’s okay.

Anger and Love
I can tell you this. I still hurt over the ending of this show and the reasons roll into each other, like tangled yarn tossed in a bin. (In this metaphor, I am the bin.)
Castiel
The BURY YOUR GAYS trope. My GOD when will this show learn. (The answer is never. Never, because it’s over.) In 15x18 Cas confesses his love and then dies. Guess who else dies in this episode? Charlie and Stevie! The writers said, “Who will hurt the most to lose? Ah, yes. Charlie in the new and terrified bloom of love.” We can ASSUME that Charlie and Stevie come back, but we don’t get to see it or hear about it. And we get the barest throwaway line that Cas comes back in 15x20, but not seeing him physically return after over a decade on the show feels like a blow that just won’t stop.
More EMOTIONS below the cut.
On Thursday, I said to Boris that it would have been better if we’d never been tossed that crumb about Cas’s love. Why give us this FEAST and then take it away like Chuck poofing away a dog? Many people have pointed to network cowardice, and that’s certainly a possibility. Some people have put forth the theory that exposing Cas’s love for Dean was simply a season-ending ratings move. Either of those could be true, or some mix of them. Listen, I can spin myself around that stupid knot for days and we’ll probably never get the whole story. Instead, I have to look at the core of what Castiel coming out means for me. And the truth of it is, it means A LOT. It means I love him a whole lot more. Cas is mine, he’s ours, he’s one of us. And I’m angry as hell at how it went down, but I’m still glad we got Cas’s side of the story. I have a pride pin on the lapel of my Cas trench, and it’s never felt more perfect.
So I’m angry, but I’m also incredibly glad. Ugh. Knots.
Boris: We’ll never know what actually went down during the production of this season and the hiatus changes or the show’s narrative arc, but I have to believe that Robert Berens was given some kind of go ahead and planned for a lovely and beautiful ending for Dean and Cas. That his story was taken from him at the end (much like Wayward’s eventual ending), is so unfair. Because Cas’s story wasn’t completed. Dean and Cas’s story will forever float out there for us to ponder. Like Natasha, I will cling to Cas’s confession and see it as a beautiful coming out moment for a character I love very much. I’ll be forever despondent that we didn’t see Dean’s story play out on our televisions.
Dean
I didn’t come out as bi to more than three people until my late 30’s. It was something I was first in denial about, and then it just seemed “not relevant” for a large swath of my life (married for 18 years now). Talking about that with my family and friends surprised me - how relieved I felt. How free. As I was working through this, I was also slipping into Supernatural fandom, and watching a show where Dean COULD BE bi. Reader, I projected myself right onto Dean Bean. Maybe he was like me. Clueless, then in denial, then thinking that part of himself irrelevant. So giving us Cas without Dean, given the scenes we watch on the show, feels like a personal affront. I know I’m projecting here, so I’ll acknowledge those feelings and move on to the next…
I am also PISSED about Dean’s story. All his life he’s been “daddy’s blunt instrument” and ready to die bloody on a hunt. It’s spoken about so often that we think surely - at the end - we’ll subvert that. SURELY he’ll survive. The last couple of seasons, he’s fighting for control - freedom from Michael, freedom from Chuck. He finally achieves that freedom and then loses everything anyway. There are no rewards on Earth. He died solving one last case from John’s journal. Daddy’s little soldier to the end. It’s disgusting to me to take this beautiful, complex character who is textually SO FULL OF LOVE and then take a pass on imagining what he might do with a real life on earth. It’s lazy writing, used for a cheap, fast, emotional reaction. The more I unpack Dean’s fate against the rest of the series, the angrier I get.
Boris: I think so many of us confused and discovering things about ourselves later in life see Dean as a character that matters. His story, had it been told fully, would have mattered. I don’t buy his death or his peaceful afterlife. It’s still too raw to process because he deserves happiness in life!
Billie
“I know Supernatural has a history of killing off characters of color,” I told people, “but Billie’s a main character now!” W O W 15x18 is the kick that keeps on kicking. I did actually enjoy Billie’s arc quite a bit, but losing her still makes me angry, in the broader context of the show.
Women
“Supernatural isn’t great with women,” I said. “But we have Mary now! And Billie!” Please picture me as Olaf when I say. “Mary DIES. Billie DIES. Only sad men remain.” Sure, we get some throwaway lines. We know Donna’s alive in 15x20 because of the call to Dean’s phone. Actually, scratch that, we know someone talked to Donna…because this show didn’t want to address that literally no other hunter knew about or mourned Dean’s death so they had a random stranger call Dean’s “Other other phone” for help. Great. Now I’m mad about Dean again.
We can probably blame some of how the final episode shakes out on COVID. Presumably, the final scene in Heaven would have been a party with Mary, the roadhouse crew, original Charlie, maybe Eileen? Kevin? etc etc. Instead, it’s an empty, lonely end on screen.
Which brings me to Eileen. Sam’s romance was laid out carefully throughout season 15, so what the fuck happened here? We assumed we’d at least get some confirmation that Sam ends up with the woman he brought back from the dead and then dated as recently as a couple episodes ago. Instead, there is literally NOTHING. No attempt is made to say that Eileen’s the one Sam ends up with other than his son having dark hair. There are no family portraits. No sign language to the faceless mother by the house. (Standing in a floral dress, like a good housewife.) Is she dead? Did Sam end up with someone else? Even without dialogue, there are ways to show Eileen’s presence that weren’t used. I’m so angry that she was an element of the season and then…hand waved away as irrelevant. The faceless wife MY GOD, SHOW.
Boris: Yikes, I cynically see the reason to not include Cas in the end because homophobiaTM but to not even give us Eileen and Sam? Clearly, they wanted to erase every person that mattered to the brothers from the end. Ugly.
Heaven
The funny thing is that I’m constantly trying to write a “happy eternity in a now-free Heaven” in my own fan fiction. If anyone should like 15x20 it should be me! I’m always trying to argue that it isn’t major character death, because their souls are infinite and now free, blah blah blah. So ultimately, my problem isn’t with peace in Heaven. It’s with Dean’s EARLY DEATH, and how empty Heaven feels. How desolate and devoid of life. Dean leaves the Roadhouse and drives alone until finally Sam dies and joins him. It reads like the ultimate fuck you to the “family don’t end in blood” storyline. If COVID filming got in the way of filling Heaven with life, then we have all suffered a great loss. It should feel ecstatic and full of community. Instead, it just feels wide and lonely.
Ultimately, boiling the season finale into an intimate portrait of brothers should work on paper. It SHOULD, but the show leaves so much unsaid and unshown about the community and family they’ve built along the way, and tells us to be happy with the scraps we’ve gotten instead. It tells us they were never that important, in the end.
The Future
I’m still going to watch the show. I’m still going to enjoy the show and the characters. There are reasons I have watched all along, and they don’t have anything to do with needing the show wrapped up in a neat bow. I’m angry with Supernatural’s conclusion, because I love it. And I’m okay with that.
Boris: I love this show so much, and I know I’ll continue to love it. I need time to lick my wounds and forget about this episode. This show is about the characters and the journey and that’ll never end.

Supernatural Rewatch Ramblings: Bloodlust
2020-21 has been a huge transformative time for many of us. Whether we wanted it or not, we have been forced to stop, switch gears, rethink, reflect, let go, make new priorities, discover who we really are and who we want to be in the face of adversity.
One of those transformations for me has been giving up on control and finding a way to surrender to the power of the universe. Another has been to not let perfection be the enemy of good.
You may well wonder---What does all this have to do with the Bloodlust rewatch and review??!
Probably nothing LOL except for the fact that I still have to write up my review on Bloody Mary and have been unable to write for various reasons. And then because the Bloody Mary review was still incomplete I could not write about the next one etc etc etc.
So when we watched Bloodlust two days ago in the continuing re-watch, I decided that I am going to re-start the review, and from exactly where I am right now!
If time and life permits I might fill in the gaps later. If not, well, life is unpredictable and weird and we keep calm as it carries on….Thank you for coming to my Philosophy talk….:)
Read below for the Boodlust  review, Season 2 episode 3 and look out for the post from @soulmates-for-real on this rewatch too!!
Tumblr media
The opening scene is the perfect switch and bait because we as an audience have been trained to latch on to types and identities and representations.
Woman in white night gown screaming and running--victim
Person who brutally beheads her—villain.
A few minutes into the episode we realize that we were wrong.
A good few minutes later we realize that we were wrong about being wrong.]
Haha.
We are idjits, swept away on the eddies and currents of this masterfully written and directed episode. Thank you Sera Gamble and Robert Singer!
The acting and the mesmerizing beauty of the two leads is worthy of an entire essay of its own but in order to have a life and finish this review I shall only say this—Oh my goodness HOW gorgeous is Jensen Ackles?!!
Tumblr media
It is sometimes impossible to look at him in this episode because my eyes didn’t know where to land! That perfect face? The lips? Those eyes?? The quirk of the eyebrows? Those micro expressions that are constantly weaving across his face? The smile? The way his lips move when he talks?? His hair? The Samulet?
And then the shot pans out and includes his hand and the ring and honestly it’s a miracle I could follow the plot at all.
So the images I am going to include in this review, much as I love Sam Winchester and Jared Padalecki, are all of Dean Winchester. It’s a criminal waste to not do so when the man is just an ode to perfection.
*
Sheila O’Malley’s review of this episode is in itself a work of art and a thing of beauty so I will direct you most enthusiastically towards it and only add here my little pennyworth bits. Do click on this link but be prepared to sink into a one hour read which will make you feel like you were dropped into the episode itself.
https://www.sheilaomalley.com/?p=87187
Here is a quote from her review which is so insightful.
These are the details that a director like Robert Singer never misses, and at this point his relationship with Ackles and Padalecki would be almost telepathic (it’s probably 100% telepathic now). He has said before that he and Kripke were such a good team because Kripke’s primary concern is Plot/Gore/Horror and Singer’s primary concern is Character/Relationship. And they both end up in the same place. It’s a good mix. If Singer were also Plot/Gore/Horror focused, we wouldn’t have the depth of relationship which is the real point of the show, its real hook.
*
For a much briefer and far less technically adept and analytical review, read on here!
*
The opening of this episode shows us the Impala from every possible angle. Gleaming, gorgeous, road -worthy. This is mirrored by Dean. He is also gleaming, gorgeous and roadworthy. He is in a happy mood that not even Sam’s little brother snitty comments can deflate.
Tumblr media
Here is the soundtrack of this episode for those who are interested.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0835248/soundtrack
Here is some random but fun trivia:
Dean tells Sam in one scene "If it's     Supernatural, we kill it." One of the rare times the title of the     show is actually spoken in the dialogue.
This is the first episode where Sam began parting his     hair down the middle, the hairstyle he'd keep the rest of the series.
( I didn’t like his hair too much in this episode honestly but then again I could barely see anyone beyond Dean :D)
During the filming of this episode Jared injured his     hand when he fell badly during a stunt. He thought it was merely sprained     and went straight into filming the next episode without having it checked.     But it got more and more painful and finally he went to the doctor and     discovered that his hand was, in fact, broken. Because he had already     begun filming, he couldn't bandage the hand until filming for that episode     was finished. The writers ended up writing in an accident for Sam and his     line "I think she broke my hand" to explain the fact that for     the following few episodes he would be wearing a cast.
When Dean kills a vampire, blood is sprayed on his     face, mostly on his right cheek. In the next shot the pattern is     different, and notably the right cheek is almost clean. Furthermore, his     mouth was agape when he made the kill, risking the blood getting into his     mouth and turning him into a vampire. While the brothers didn't yet know     how a vampire is made at that point, Gordon did and should have been     alarmed that Dean might have gotten some of the blood in his mouth.
*
A random behind the scene shot from the episode:
Tumblr media
Guess who she is? Apparently this is Jensen’s sister in a super brief role in Bloodlust!
On to the review, or rather some of my thoughts during the re-watch.
The first scene with the Sheriff they are interrogating him about the cattle mutilations is hilarious. The way they bluff their way into the morgue is hilarious. Dean always leading and Sam following.
Tumblr media
Random trivia: When Dean enters the morgue with Sam and sees the name tag of "J Manners", it has been thought the name was to honor Jeffrey Dean Morgan and series producer Kim Manners. Dean guesses "John" - Jeffrey's character name - and the intern corrects with "Jeff"
Tumblr media
*
It a testament to the way Supernatural has trained its audience that we barely blink when they pull out a decapitated head in the morgue, squabble over who is more chicken, dig into the mouth and eventually discover vampire fangs.
Tumblr media
Yes, of course they do.
*
Next scene: Two hot guys walk into a bar…..
…….where the adorable Benny, who is not Benny in this episode but a random dude ( spoilers—later we find out the dude is a vampire), gives them directions/ mis- directions to a possible vampire nest.
Tumblr media
We see the first glimpse of Gordon Walker, amazingly played by Sterling K. Brown, and making us worry about and dislike him almost right away. The way he is shown with the light and shade bars on his face from the window blinds is so menacing.
Tumblr media
The next few scenes continue to build that sense of unease where the Winchester brothers, apparently telepathically, decide to double back and catch him following them, then he shows them his car and his weapons, where he references their dad and then refuses their offer for help.
The scene where he shows them his car is like a painting. (The car by the way is just as inconspicuous as the Impala –which is to say NOT AT ALL!! How do these people stay below the radar of the regular law enforcement is a mystery….).
The dust highlighting the rays of light, the two brothers on one side of the car and Gordon at the other, it’s all so consciously set up for a few seconds worth of screen time. Impressive!
Tumblr media
Next comes a truly brutal kill, at Dean’s hands, which we don’t even see except as a spray of blood on his face. Poetic! But it is Dean’s expression that makes my stomach clench. His eyes are dead and he is somewhere deep that even Sam can’t reach, as we can see from the distress on Sam’s face.
Gordon of course is all chipper and full of bonhomie and offers to buy them drinks.
That following scene is the one which gives Wincest brother-wives vibes like 100%.
*
Sam plays the role of the disgruntled ‘wife’ to perfection. No one but hubby is allowed to use the nickname. He hates the male bonding going on with Gordon and the more Gordon seems to slip into Dean’s inner circle, the more uncomfortable Sam gets, until he finally decides that he just cannot physically be there any more.
Dean’s smug expression when Sam tells Gordon off for calling him Sammy, his instant worry at Sam going back alone, his hand raised in exasperation to convey to Gordon—look what I have to put up with-- the tossing of the keys to his car----it is all a symphony of Dean playing his part in the brother-wives orchestra.
Tumblr media
The last line?! ‘Remind me to beat the buzzkill out of you later.’ And Sam’s expression at that? That’s exactly the way a bullying /abusive husband would react to a nagging wife who doesn’t like his toxic friends and wonders how he can be so blind as to not see them for the bad influence they clearly are.
( Bad Dean!!!)
Tumblr media
Sam goes back to the motel and does his due diligence by checking with Ellen, gets kidnapped by vampires, released and on his return is disgusted to find Gordon inside their motel room.
*
The next scene is where Dean erupts, having clearly had enough of the shifting power dynamics between them over the evening. Sam has been silently judging him since the kill and Gordon has managed to ‘other’ Sam and make Dean feel validated in his own bloodlust as a hunter.
Dean clocks Sam one.
Wow. I did not see that coming. And what shocked me at this re- watch is that Sam just takes it.
Like an abused wife, he just takes it. Not only that, sometime later in the episode he tells Dean to hit him again if it is going to make him feel better.
NO Sam! NO!!! This is NOT healthy and this is NOT the way to deal….ugh. Sigh.
*
Then the second half of the episode swings in and the moral dilemma they face becomes clear when the victim and villain switch roles and Dean is shook enough to question his dad’s judgement!
Dean is still kind of trying to give Gordon the benefit of the doubt even though he sees him literally torturing the vampire. But of course all bets are off the instant he touches Sam. Dean pulls his gun on him. I was surprised that he didn’t shoot him just on principle later simply because he hurt Sam even if it was a small cut.
Tumblr media
That is Dean’s definition of monsters-- Anything that hurts Sam. 😊
*
We don’t know it at this time, and spoilers ahead, but maybe Dean has been so annoyed and violent with Sam at the idea that he is standing up for MONSTERS is because he might also be one….and the way he looks at the end when he realizes that his whole life’s philosophy has been upended.
There are the details about the vampires who drink cattle blood so they don’t harm humans and therefore want to be treated as the good guys. Of course it is all about the inherent struggle between who you are and what you do—something that shows up hugely magnified in the later seasons when Sam is struggling with his own demon blood addiction and the knowledge of the demon blood inside him.
He needs desperately to believe in this as the utmost foundation stone of his life and its purpose—what you DO is more important than what you ARE!
So even if you are a monster, if you don’t behave like one—that is your redemption.
But it’s not just anybody whose faith he wants in his struggle to prove to himself that he is not a monster. He needs it from Dean.
Tumblr media
Remember the dialogue from the panic room “Don’t you say that to me. Don’t YOU say that to me.”
And the fake voicemail set up by Zachariah exploits this at the time of the breaking of the last seal.
*
Of course he doesn’t know any of this yet, but that’s Sam fucking Winchester for you –always purer and better than his circumstances allow. Always struggling to do better, be better.😍
*
It is fascinating how the visuals and the roles these two play are of rugged handsome men, badass heroes-- Dean of course super macho role playing all the time. But there are so many layers upon layers and honestly if it wasn’t for Jared and Jensen’s fine nuanced and impeccable acting adding depth to the characters, the show would not have held our interest for this long.
We are shown Sam as the brains with his lore and research, but then in the very next episode (Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things), we see Dean connect dots faster than Sherlock Holmes.
Dean is shown as the instinctively violent one with the gun under his pillow, trigger happy, and in this episode even that brutal kill of the vampire on the docks. But then please remember the way Sam kills Gordon finally. Or the insane way he bites himself to get blood for drawing sigils. Or the way he just simply shoots the crossroads demon point blank!
We see Sam as the soft hearted one and he does rescue kids once in a while, but he is never shown to bond with them even a fraction of the way Dean does—so effortlessly. Also the ladies of course, all of whom have a soft spot for Dean. The exceptions being Sarah and Madison, both of whom completely ignored Dean. Oh and that doctor from Sex and Violence.
Dean has had his share of bad dates of course with Cassie, the woman who gave birth to his magical superfast growing daughter ( who was killed by Sam), and the whole Lisa arc, but somehow we are shown Sam as the one who is invested in relationships. Hello?! Sam was planning to marry Jessica without having told her a thing about his life while Dean told Cassie the secret as soon as he thought he was in love and wanted a relationship.
So anyway, just to say that a rewatch is so brilliant because we know more about them at this point than they do and the character arc is such a thing of beauty to see unfolding!
*
That last scene where Dean is in a thoughtful frame of mind, the sun is rising overhead ( as a metaphor for him seeing the light, maybe?)--that insanely gorgeous shot of Dean with the ring of fire and light and his absolutely perfect face in a close up…sigh.
Tumblr media
Then he thanks Sam for pushing him to see this grey area and for the first time in that episode Sam finally smiles.
His big brother is back with him.
Tumblr media
And then he commits to Dean too. Ah…how it warms my heart to hear this dialogue!
DEAN I wish we never took this job. It's jacked everything up.
SAM What do you mean?
DEAN Think about all the hunts we went on, Sammy, our whole lives.
SAM Okay.
DEAN What if we killed things that didn't deserve killing? You know? I mean, the way Dad raised us...
SAM Dean, after what happened to Mom, Dad did the best he could.
DEAN I know he did. But the man wasn't perfect. And the way he raised us, to hate those things; and man, I hate 'em. I do. When I killed that vampire at the mill I didn't even think about it; hell, I even enjoyed it.
SAM You didn't kill Lenore.
DEAN No, but every instinct told me to. I was gonna kill her. I was gonna kill 'em all.
SAM Yeah, Dean, but you didn't. And that's what matters.
DEAN Yeah. Well, 'cause you're a pain in my ass.
SAM Guess I might have to stick around to be a pain in the ass, then.
DEAN Thanks.
SAM Don't mention it.

Guess Sam does stick around for the next 15 years to be a pain in the ass 😊

Some quotes from the writers about this episode:
·  "The episode was really about what Dean would become if he didn't watch out: that Gordon was Dean in ten years if Sam didn't ask the difficult questions and keep him from getting too militant." - Executive story editor Sera Gamble
· "We set out to create a monster episode where you weren't entirely sure whether these monsters should be killed." - Eric Kripke
· "For me, the show is at its best when the supernatural story reveals something new about the brothers, or forces them to change in some way. Sam and Dean's realization that they've basically been raised as 'monster racists' was really meaty stuff. Exploring these characters' flaws is just as important as showcasing their heroism - these are the things that make them human, that make us invest in them." - Raelle Tucker

I have already finished watching the next episode ‘Children’s Shouldn’t play with Dead Things’….so let’s hope I get around to writing a review sometime soon !

Reverse Hareem I watched in 7th grade that are actually amazing and cute:
The Wallflower aka "Rejection does not equal Disgusting" the anime.
Tumblr media
Main girl enjoys creepy, scary, gorey and bloody things
Her aunt sends her to live with 4 boys--as a way to help improve her self image and make her a 'lady' (idk why, go with it)
Lives with 4 boys but none of them try to harass her and even try to make her comfortable when they think she went through a bad experience with men.
All 4 boys embody tropes but they're all still unique and fresh
There are 2 other girls in the anime (one not shown up there) that befriend our main lady and never try to make her feel worthless for what she enjoys or belittle her
Each boy has some screentime with her, and despite the narritive pointing to 1 specific boy the others are contendors
In the end, we get to learn about her family life--which surprise surprise-- is actually very healthy and supportive of her.
My only gripe is in the 2nd episode, there's this group of really tan-brownish girls, big pink lips, seen as agressive and rude and dumb....so, uh, yeah. Take that as you may.
Kamisama Kiss aka "HOLY SHIT FIGHT SCENES, OVERARCHING STORY AND GODS" the anime.
Tumblr media
Main girl loses her home and is kicked out at 17 because her father gambled money--sty with me it gets better
After she saves a mysterious man from a dog, he grants her a place to stay--and she becomes a shrine God.
Her familiar (the fox-boy) is an a-hole but really cares about her.
The other boys have different personalities, motivations, etc. And slowly shape into good people thanks to her kindness
2 seasons, and a story that spans over both seasons and OVA's as well.
Shows a protagonist who is a *bit* of a Mary Sue, but I see it as a girl who despite everything never gives up and still believes in humanity as a whole and tries to help people the best she can.
You already know what it is y'all.
Tumblr media
Do I REALLY need to explain? I will.
Main character/leading lady is not at all like the normal building-block lead protagonist.
Haruhi doesn't define herself with gender labels and judges people based on their character
The Host Club give her a chance to pay back her debt since she doesn't have the money, and have her become a host
Each episode showcases different tropes/ways they entertain ladies
Everyone drinks their Respect Woman Juice everyday.
Each has an episode (besides Mori, still pissed about that) about why they joined the Host Club, their troubled family life, etc.
LGBT rep, Haruhi's father is very much bisexual and crossdresses (albeit for his job mostly) and even when his wife died, he said he'd never love another woman. Haruhi doesn't seem to mind romancing girls all day and even Tamaki was open to hosting Haruhi when he thought she was a boy.
Emphasizes how despite Haruhi always being independent, it's okay for her to depend on others whether it's the Host club at school or at home with her father.
