In my garden
Two lobe Clakia (Clarkia biloba) Evening Primrose family. This species is endemic to California where it’s mainly found in the Sierra Nevada foothills, although a subspecies is found near San Francisco as well. It thrives in large stands here in this foothill charparral with serpentine soils- appreciates the lack of competition I think.

Lobivia taratensis, second wave of flowers. Pollinated with Easter Parade and Dessau. ✌ There already is a fruit with Easter Parade, so the first cross of the season was a success.
