Dragon and Oni Guardians AU!!!

Warnings: It involves my oc Red- (She is the youngest sibling of the smith family)

So Kai is a descendant of Dragons and is part dragon. While Red is a descendant of Onis and is part oni. And since Lloyd is both part dragon and oni, they protect him. Especially, since thay are more powerful than the First Spinjitzu Master himself since he was born from them (I thik-).They also argue a bit to get Lloyds attention as well. The others try to get them to calm them whenever Lloyd is in danger. Instead they would push them away and get hella angry and almost kill whoever hurts Lloyd, mentally or physically. Kai would be more kind to Lloyd and the others and would protect them, along with Lloyd. Meanwhile, Red would only focus on Lloyd and Lloyd alone. She would give not much care to the others. That, they get a bit upset about sometimes... So yeh-

What about Kai and Jay after Seabound event in Serial killer Nya, how did they feel after Nya merged with the sea?

I knew it would come to me if I started to write it.

Kai was trying very hard to not be relieved. He had just lost his sister, he should not feel relief. Even if the fear was finally gone. No more doubt that she would turn on him, because she wasn’t around anymore. No more stomach churning while he covered for her. For the first time since he was little kid, he wasn’t hiding from a nasty truth.

She was dead and he was allowed to be upset about that. He didn’t have to shove any feelings into the sand.

Her reputation was still his beloved sister. He wouldn’t have to cover anything up ever again.

There would be no more overreactions. Kai didn’t have to hid his injuries or discomfort to protect people anymore.

He lost his baby sister. He grieved her, sure. But he was crying from relief first and formost.

Lloyd felt like he had just broken free from a trance. Nya had become a consuming influence on him, darkening his soul shade by shade. Now that she wasn’t there, Lloyd felt clear headed again. He felt himself reset back to a place where murder was wrong and drinking blood was disgusting.

Mostly.

Damage was still done. Lloyd still knew what blood tasted like, still craved it to some extend. He still felt a festering little corner of rot where Nya’s touch would linger. It would probably never go away.

But now he felt like he could lock that up and keep it contained. Like he could finally clear the cobwebs away now that the spider that had been making them was gone. Her corruption was over. Without her, he could tame his darker biology again.

Lloyd hadn’t realized how much of an effect she was having on him until it ended. Was that how it worked? His oni biology never bothered him before he got exposed to Nya’s bad habits.

Murders. They were murders. He was clear headed again and not making anymore uncomfortable excuses.

Maybe his oni blood was diluted enough it only reacted when he was exposed to other forms of evil and destruction. Maybe that was why it only started to act up once Nya engaged it. Now that she wasn’t aggravating it, it was going dormant again.

Lloyd wanted to be sad about the lose of his sister, but he also wanted to adjust to having a confident conscious again. He needed space to think again without Nya’s infection blurring his every thought.

Jay was furious.

He’d sold his soul for this girl, and she got taken away!? He had killed his virtue and given the corpse of it to her like an offering. Now he was left with nothing, less than he started with!

It wasn’t fair.

Kai and Lloyd were coping with their own complicated grief. Jay understood and gave them that space. They hadn’t offered their morals up out of devotion like he had. Nya had taken that from them and carved away their objections with fear she wielded like a knife. They were dragged in without a choice, of course it was confusing.

The others though, Jay could scoff. They were grieving like they even knew her. They mourned nothing more than a costume. They assumed Jay’s impatience with them was the fact that she was his yang, dismissed it as a “deeper connection” and not them knowing nothing about her true self.

Jay wanted to honor her, the real her! The entire funeral was a sham; a memorial for a lie. What could he do?

He only had to rack his brain for a week before the answer presented itself.

The power dynamic between him and Vania is 4D chess.

She threatens to have him killed, he threatens mutually assured destruction. He lets her know he could tell the Geckles and Munce the truth at any moment and they'd believe "The son of Lilly/Gilly/Milly". She never let's him forget that he's on her home turf and that the people will always side with her.

She screams at him when he's almost assassined. He half jokes about telling Zame and Nya she's mistreating him when she annoys him.

They are one nasty couple's spat away from imploding Shintaro's economy and plunging the world into the largest war conceivable. Only their inner circle knows this. Anyone close enough to see through Vania's "Angel Queen" persona is still fiercely loyal, because they know she and Cole have the power to destroy everyone if they got cornered.

The entire world will go down with this ship.

Giant vampire lady au

Dareth is somehow the worst yet best familiar Misako has had

On one hand the man knows his ways around cleaning products suspiciously well.

Cares for Lloyd and is not afraid to put his foot down when Lloyd tries to hypnotize him for cookies.

This being due to his hunter heritage but Misako assumes it’s due to how ditsy Dareth is.

On the other hand Dareth has somehow managed to kill all of the latest vampire assassins trying to usurp her seat of power. He’s too damn good at it.

One of the assassins died via daylight when Dareth opened the door after getting fresh groceries to make his famous brownies.

Another assassin died falling on some of the garden stakes used to train the castle fruit trees

Dareth just wanted to make his ziti in peace until the newest vampire assassin got warded off by it being cooked. Basically death by allergic reaction.

Because some when turned into vampires actually do develop a garlic allergy as a result.

So death by allergic reaction for that one.

Garmadon is both concerned and Impressed by Dareth’s sheer stubbornness at hiding the bodies of their victims after they’ve been killed.

Garmadon: How do you know all this?

Dareth: Oh I was going to be a pathologist with a minor in forensic science. But decided teaching and childcare was more my speed. CSI: Ninjago City and Investigation Discovery also taught me how to dispose of them too.

Garmadon: Huh. Good job.

Also Dareth is a good watch human to make sure Kai doesn’t escape the castle.

Because Dareth quote on quote’s “I will never halfass my job and this isn’t that hard.”

Dareth also went through a twilight phase and is trying to ingratiate himself to Misako so he can become a vampire himself.

His vampire hunter ancestors are shaking in their graves

Misako, pointing to Dareth: "That is my pet Himbo. I love him very much. Someday I will probably turn him, but for now he likes sunshine and I'm not ready to take that away from him."

Man I wonder how Kairro Skybound will be. I know Kai isn't in that season much and it wouldn't be that interesting without Morro but also I'm thinking about how awful it must be for Kai. At that point, Kai is trying to recover from Morro but the media is harassing the ninja and the fans are not leaving them alone. So Kai's recovery is probably already really difficult but adding the media and the fans on top if it probably makes it worse. I'm assuming. Sorry this post is so long.

That is something I hadn't thought of yet.

The ninja probably try to get away with just not saying much about it, but fans are going to notice Kai's behavior change and demand answers.

Morro is a more private person, and Kai's temper isn't going to respond well to feeling like people are prying.

He ends up doing some things that are ill-advised by PR. Word gets out that he’s seeing a therapist. Trashy tabloids are running wild, things are getting worse.

Dareth however earns his keep and works himself to the bone to keep it all managed. He gets the love triangle stories rerun with Jay, Nya, and Cole’s permission to distract from Kai. It works pretty well before Nadakhan upsets things.

After Nadakhan is defeated, Jay starts to see the same therapist as Kai, though less frequently. Said therapist encourages them both to be more open about their issues, and Kai finally starts speaking about some of it publicly. The narrative changes from Kai being unstable, to how dangerous their line of work is for their mental states. Dareth pushes this hard. Once Kai gets comfortable talking more about it, he becomes a spokesperson for destigmatizing mental health.

Kairro au: what if their memories started mixing together as well and caused even worse identity crises? Like kai and morro start having "childhood memories" of wu working at the forge or training with nya at the monastery as kids and they start losing grip on what actually happened in their lives? They'd have memories of completely different things happening at the same age and I could totally imagine that messing with someone--whether it's kai, morro, both, or kairro if they completely fuse

Serial killer Nya au

Nya and the dawning realization that maybe she should kill Clutch Powers. Because he always manages to cause more problems for the ninja than he’s worth.

It’s not like anybody on the team really likes him and he stole that promotion from Misako even though she was far more qualified and worked her behind for it.

He also brought nadakhan to the realm so it’s justified to kill him even more.

She’s waiting for an opportunity, but the guy just keeps managing to be just out of reach for her.

IDK what this guys does in his source media, so maybe you meant they just have the same MO, but Jay is first and foremost a boy toy in the Villain Vibe AU. His official role is technically Nya's Arm Candy. His lab work is just his hobby (Csuse he gets bored easy, and playing with people's brains is both fun and useful.)

He likes his treasures, nice clothes, expensive sheets, etc. So he cares about his appearance.

Would harumi pretend to like lloyd and manipulate him?

If so, would it eventually lead to a predicament when lloyd falls involve; on which he struggles to enact the "family tradition" because now that he was manipulated by someone he like, it feels wrong?

That is a good question.

Although...alternatively.....What if Harumi's goal is to get to be a vampire? She plans to ditch Lloyd after that happens, but Misako's strict "no turning until you're adults" rule is kind of throwing a wretch into her plans?
