He tenido muchas ganas de hablar de este nuevo prototipo eléctrico que está cambiando el juego en la eficiencia del consumo de energía. #ElectricVehicleTechnology🔌 🚗 Primero que nada, este impactante prototipo de BMW, revela una batería con un impresionante alcance de 370 a 400 millas. ¿Podemos tomar un momento para apreciar eso? ¡Es casi el doble del rango de algunos de los coches eléctricos actuales en el mercado! Se nota que BMW está haciendo todo lo posible para mantenerse a la vanguardia en la evolución de los coches eléctricos. Pero vamos a hablar de la tecnología que está detrás de esto. La mayor parte de los vehículos eléctricos se basan en la carga rápida para compensar la falta de autonomía. Sin embargo, el nuevo iX de BMW está diseñado para funcionar de manera eficiente, reduciendo la necesidad de recargas frecuentes. La tecnología detrás de esto se llama "batería en swap". Una "batería en swap" es cuando el coche consume energía sólo de una porción de las celdas de la batería en lugar de toda la batería. Esto significa básicamente que su coche va "intercambiando" o alternando entre distintas secciones de la batería para mantenerla fresca y para extender el tiempo total de conducción. ¡Parece algo sacado de una película de ciencia ficción! Pero no todo es tener más autonomía. Hay también una ventaja ecológica en esta estrategia. Al hacer que las celdas trabajen menos y por menos tiempo, probablemente la vida útil de las celdas de la batería se alargará. Esto reduce la necesidad de fabricar nuevas celdas de batería, lo que a su vez reduce el impacto ambiental. ¡Es una situación ganar-ganar! Otra característica interesante a mencionar es el sistema de manejo del calor del vehículo. Se sabe que las baterías eléctricas tienden a calentarse cuando están en uso, reduciendo potencialmente su rendimiento. Sin embargo, BMW ha desarrollado un sistema de gestión de calor para mantener las baterías en su temperatura óptima. ¡Imagina tener tu propia "chaqueta" de clima controlado para tu batería! En resumen, creo que el iX de BMW es un gran avance en la tecnología de vehículos eléctricos. Es evidente que el aumento en la eficiencia energética será una tendencia en los años venideros y BMW está tomando la delantera.
