“Miruko was in the middle of a fight when she got the call that Hawks and Endeavor were in danger.

She leaves the fight, never knowing that she'd been hit with a time loop quirk - not realizing that she would pass it on to the next person she touched. It's something she finds out the hard way, when she kicks Dabi in the face... and then finds herself facing him again. And again. And again.

In between time loops, the heroine and villain reluctantly get to know each other.

BNHA 290!!!!! SPOILERS!!

I’m so glad all this build up wasn’t for nothing. We all expected this to happen eventually and even though this wasn’t surprising, it was still so damn GOOD.

Dabi casually washing away his hair dye and revealing himself just at the right time,

Rei seeing that her lost child has actually been alive the whole time...

And this guy who I’m assuming is the “get over all might and accept endeavor as the number 1 hero now” guy during High end’s battle finding out that his fave hero is a freaking child abuser. It’s like finding out your fave content creator was canceled for being racist or a pedo.

Dabi actually plotting to kill Shouto all this time?? It’s all so amazing. Really this arc has just consistently been getting better.

I can’t even begin to imagine what’ll happen to endeavor after this? Will be retire? Make a public apology first and promise to do better? With the shaken hero society can they even afford to kick Endeavor out???

Caleb Cook, the official translator for the manga pointed out that Dabi has been planning this thing out for a longass time.

“Don’t go dying on me”

He’s been rooting for him for a while. Why? To bring Endeavor down HIMSELF. He wanted to destroy his legacy, everything that endeavor worked for, the reason behind Touya’s abuse. It’s an amazing revenge plan.

This last panel was amazing, Endeavor is shocked to the core, staring at the physical manifestation of his sin. While Todoroki is experiencing a mixture of shock, fear, and probably sadness. He never did get to know his brother after all.

“THE PAST NEVER DIES” what powerful words man. Endeavor can do whatever the hell he can to redeem himself, but the damage will ALWAYS be there.

And lastly, I hope y’all who were fuming at Horikoshi during the joint training/internship arc with Torodoki, Deku, and Bakugou for supposedly excusing Endeavor’s abuse see what’s happening right now.

Everything was a buildup to this, a total public humiliation lmao. Makes me wonder if Endeavor will actually kick the bucket in this arc.

All in all, this chapter definitely ranks as one of the best bnha chapters of all time. I’m guessing we’re getting the full backstory of what actually happened to Dabi when he supposedly died, and I can’t freaking wait!!!

Ozai might've exiled his son and all that but Endeavor did much worse

1. Endeavor fucking made Shoto Todoroki's mom, Rei Todoroki go insane and put her in mental hospital

2. He gave his son Shoto Todoroki brutal training when he was only a child

3. Is the sole reason why Touya faked his own death

4. Endeavor is also the sole reason that Touya wanted to kill Shoto and why he crawled to his older brother Natsu Todoroki crying his eyes out everyday while questioning why he even existed.

5. Touya became the villain known as Dabi because of Endeavor

So, in conclusion Endeavor is just as abusive as fuck.
