Being best friends with Shinso Hitoshi

Characters: Shinso Hitoshi x reader (platonic)

Content: fluff, crack kinda?, little bit of Izuku Midoriya x reader, reader is a crackhead 'cause why not, also a kinda dark joke that my mom wouldn't appreciate, this is long and I have no regrets, this is so self indulgent💀

Alright lets be honest here first. When you two first met, Hitoshi made some small talk but other than that didn't really wanna converse with you. The crack energy was too much for him. He kept his distance with you but no matter where he went, it was like the universe decided to torment him 'cause he always seemed to bump into you.

Time skip to a more run ins and you talking his ear off, there you were, two best friends. The dynamic between you is basically, You: Crackhead, Hitoshi: tired of the crackhead.

He'll act all grumpy when you drag him somewhere to hang out but don't mind him, he loves hanging out with you. Hitoshi also loves the fact that you don't see his quirk as "evil" as many people do.

If you are a cat person, he is in heaven. It will be a sacred ritual to go to a cat cafe once a week. If you cancel on the plans, well get ready to receive the silent treatment.

The sassiness between you two is high on this one. Its like you'll be minding your own buisness and he'll just randomly go "can you not? Your existence is giving me a headache". Of course he doesn't mean it <3

You two are attached at the hip a lot of the times. And with that comes speculations from people if you two might be a couple. When someone actually asks if you two are dating, Hitoshi would be like "pfft why would I date this ?" and you're there just like "bitch🤚 no cat cafe meetings for a month" and he'll crumble like "NOOOO" .

You are the only being in existence who is allowed to touch his hair. If you ever want to style it, he'll make a offended face but nevertheless let you do it and he'll keep it if you say and glare at anyone who makes a joke of it.

You constanly scolding him about his sleep schedule like yours isn't fucked up as well. Hitoshi will call you randomly at like 3 am to tell you a cat fact. Most of the times, his training with Aizawa stresses him out so you drag him to have a self care routine. God forbid you sneak a picture of him with a face mask and cucumbers on, he will bury you alive.

He acts like he hates it and will groan everytime you tell him stupid ass jokes. Though sometimes he laughs like that one time you went " 'Toshi, 'Toshi" "what?" "Whats the difference between a lightbulb and a pregnant woman?" ".....what?" "......you can unscrew a lightbulb" and cue Hitoshi trying not to burst out cackling.

Friends don't judge each other, they judge other people together. This is a motto that you two go by. Ya'll be in a cafe or a park or just walking and you two would just judge other people together and roast them to hell. And Hitoshi acts all nonchalant but he is definitely interested when you come around and gossip about shit that just happened with other people.

The UA people didn't even know you existed until one day you decided to randomly pop up to embarrass Hitoshi. Its not that he avoided talking about you, its just that they never asked and he is a private person by nature so they just never knew about you.

Denki audibly, and dramatically, gasped when the usual stoic Shinso Hitoshi cracked a small smile on seeing you running at him full speed. The others were kinda surprised too when they saw how easily he conversed with you.

After that, your presence became more and more frequent around the group. One time Mineta tried to flirt with you disgustingly and after you quickly ignored him, Hitoshi dragged Mineta....somewhere. Nobody knew where Mineta was for two whole days, all while Hitoshi had a small smile on his face.

Hitoshi pretended to gag in disgust when one day you came to him rambling on about how lovely and adorable Midoriya is. He will however push you to talk to Izuku when the group is together 'cause he can see how much you like him.

So basically, being best friends with Shinso Hitoshi is definetely a whirlwind. He'll act all cool and stoic but with you its like his brain cells just die and you both radiate crackhead energy. And he'll always be there, supporting you, motivating you and being a shoulder to cry on.

And he will rarely say it but he is glad and feels lucky to have you as his friend.

And whatever he had expected was diverted when he opened the door to see you holding a raccoon, a fucking raccoon.

Dabi was close to scream but stopped himself from embarrassing himself in front of his protégé.

“What the hell is that and why is it inside our house??!!”

You had a wicked grin on your face and eyes gleaming like you had found the pandora’s box but still holding the animal as far away from your body as possible, clearly terrified of the animal attacking you.

“His name is Larry and I love him more than life itself. Can we keep him?”

Your question was a lot quieter than the rest of your proclamation of love.

“No..., go put it back outside.” Dabi said walking away, upset of the heart attack you almost gave him.

Your smile flattened and you looked at Larry.

Do you know how Bakugou gives everyone in his class random nicknames? Like, ‘dunce face’ for Kaminari, or ‘half-and-half bastard' for Todoroki?

Yeahhh, at random times when he’s alone, he either thinks of the nickname and proudly pats himself on the back, or he laughs the living shit out of himself.

And I'm talkin giggles to wheezing typa laugh. But what can he say? He thinks he’s so clever, that he got it so accurately. He can't help but laugh.

I also think when he laughs to hard, little mini fireworks come out from his palms.

(people wonder why they hear random fireworks when they pass by Bakugou's dorm. ^^ that is why.)

He sleep talks the most random words you'd expect.

"umbrella…uh-mm…. carrot.."

during bakusquad sleepovers, Kaminari and the others try guessing his dream based on the random words he let out.

at the end, Bakugou doesn't tell them anyways. Bakugou 1 - squad 0

This guy definitely has a sewing machine but it's hidden somewhere in his room.

His parents are all about fashion so it's not really surprising to learn that the oh so scary kacchan makes his own clothes depending on his mood.

Another secret is that he's made at least one small penguin plushie as an experiment.

The plushie was a success but is now sadly hidden all the way to the back of his closet.

There was a time where Bakugou's voice cracked during his daily screams, and since then, his cracked line became a known meme in class.

I like to think that since Bakugou isn't big on verbally showing appreciation or affection, he’d show his love by buying little gifts without letting them know. Kind of like a tooth fairy who leaves coins under a child’s pillow.

He’d buy something like a small pastry and leave it at the person’s desk, not even leaving a note to who it was from.

He’d only admit it was from him if they asked. He didn't like knowing he owed anyone, anything. So this is the least he can do without much fuzz.

(the person he mostly does this to is Kirishima. you can't tell me otherwise.)

The games I see him play are valorant, roblox and minecraft.

Bakugou shouts a lot when he games. So he was forced to buy those acoustic foams, and now has his house room and dorm wall full of it.

The guy has rage quitted SO MUCH in his first few times of playing the said games, I swear.

He even punched a hole through his computer at one point.

(he was grounded for months after that incident)

He has at least 6 hit tweets about All Might on twitter.

Before they met each other, All Might quote retweeted one of the tweets and he swore he almost fainted.

Def bragged about it to Deku the next day. 💀

Bakugou memorized trending TikTok dances but never tells anyone about it.

the bakusquad only found out when he corrected Mina on a move she was doing wrong.

listens to jazz when he wants to relax. I will not explain any further.

bonus:

When arguing with his significant other, no matter how heated up the argument, he will always, and I mean ALWAYS leave dinner for them on the table.

Especially when he knows he's at fault, he'll make their favorite meal as an apology.

He may be shitty at expressing himself, but he knows when he's wrong.

ぞ | hmmm, TAKEMICHI would have the ability to see glimpses of the near future. if he were the protag of bnha, his story would be that he wasted the potential of his extremely useful quirk by choosing to live a plain, ordinary life without aspiring to become a hero. then something absolutely terrible happens, but he gets the opportunity to turn things around for himself and for everyone else, if he goes back in time and claims the rank of top hero and saves the world. op music starts playing and takemichi starts his hero's journey ☆☆☆

ぞ | MIKEY would have the ability to put people to sleep. not just sleep, actually, his quirk enables him to turn people's systems off and render them comatose. if we're talking side effects, he's just sleepy ♡♡ and falls asleep real quick when he gets tired. he's quiet, a little shady but also very sweet, and whether as a hero or a villain, he'd be super powerful and useful <33

ぞ | i'll do DRAKEN a favour and let him have his motorcycle body. he's a cyborg. like genos from one punch man !! he has to get his prosthetic limbs removed and maintained regularly, and needs oil changes LMAO. imagine being the mechanic that takes care of him though <33 or the scientist that creates new body parts and weapons for him.

ぞ | BAJI is like Four Arms from Ben 10 SKHFHKH, he's big and muscley and has four arms. the perfect person to turn to, when you need a good sukuna cosplay. by the time he graduates hero school, he stands at 6'10" ♡♡ and so popular with everyone. holds fan events and meets, is super fun and friendly, good with kids — and he never turns down those calls asking for help bec a cat got stuck in a tree and needs saving LMAO

ぞ | ok ok KAZUTORA would have blood iron manipulation. realistically, your blood doesnt have THAT much iron so this is leaning towards the fictional side — but yeah, he can control your blood (maybe the flow of it out of your body, after a slash?) via the iron in your blood cells. he would be a hero turned villain <33

ぞ | MITSUYA definitely works in the rescue division. he has restoration abilities. i'm not calling it regeneration because it doesnt work on living creatures or people. it works on non living formations and structures, like stone and all. he's one of the front liners of the rescue teams. they locate people trapped under fallen buildings and such, and then mitsuya carefully restores walls and pillars, fixes cracks in the ground, and creates a safe path to reach the people from. he's also really pretty, a good leader, and skilled at providing guidance and reassurance, so everyone has a lil crush on him <33

ぞ | PAH-CHIN would have super strength. he's a lil like sakura from naruto (are there other sakuras? bec i dont know lol) and he would work in rescue, too, but in the opposite way that mitsuya does, i guess. he breaks down obstructing structures like walls and rubble, and paves way towards the people in need of saving.

ok that's takemichi + the toman ot6 but let me think of some more.

ぞ | of course KISAKI has an intelligence quirk. his ability allows him to make foolproof, precise plans that lead him straight to his goal— the catch being that they're only arranged according to his heart's desire. every step of his vision has to be followed out thoroughly to completion, to reach the end goal. however, some steps are incredibly self indulgent (step four: kill takemichi. LMAO) therefore, he's a loner at work, and more of an anti hero type. he does what he wants, how he wants, by himself. unless he met someone that was fine with doing things all his way <3

ぞ | HANMA can speak to the dead. if you come to him with enough grief and longing in your heart, for someone that's dead, he can summon their soul by channeling the power of your longing, and bring their spirit back to the edge of life for a short period of time. he would be a villain with a tragic backstory that's only revealed much later — and he works as the recruiter for his organization, by scouting people with useful quirks that have lost loved ones. "hey kid, if you do this for me and my boss, i'll let you see your sister one last time." that typa beat.

ぞ | i feel like SANZU would have some sort of energy absorption quirk. he absorbs fear. growing up, he was timid and more afraid of others than others were afraid of him, so his quirk was kept in check. however, once he joined the villains' side, he became ruthless — his gruesome murders, skilled escapes and endless number of successful heists make him his organization's beloved poster boy (which honestly only helps people to recognize and therefore fear him even more u_u).

ぞ | SENJU has a camouflage quirk. she's able to change her body to match the colours of whatever she places both her hands against — and therefore, she's part of almost every stealth mission the heroes carry out. she's leader of her division, and gets invited to a lot of workshops and expos — she's got a million fans, and the bnha universe twitter is full of senju stan accounts i just know it !!

ぞ | KOKONOI has charmspeak. it fits him really well — he's an excellent talker, silver tongued to begin with, so when he applies his quirk and slides in, he's able to coax information out of anyone he wants, and get his way no matter what the circumstances. he would've considered being a hero as a kid, but then he gets strung into a villain organization, where he decides to stay.

ぞ | if i mention koko i must mention INUI, who has a shielding ability. he's able to reflect the effect of quirks off him to some extent, giving him some level of immunity to quirk based attacks — and he uses this alongside physical shields provided to him by the hero association's weapon devs, to be both a physical and a mental shield to himself and any one he partners up with.

Aizawa 💤

💤 ; he isn't a people's person, we all know that. Preferring to keep things to himself and prefers to avoid social gatherings and social interactions. However despite not liking the idea of being a 'people person' that doesn't mean he doesn't like kids

💤 ; he doesn't know how to explain why this is, but he hates seeing kids (especially his students) hurt. And this includes age regresors. He is most likely not a stranger to the topic; teaching a whole class id guess there's at least 2 students that regress. So telling him about this was a lot more easier on your part.

💤 ; quite frankly you didn't even plan on telling him at first. After his class before you went to Mic's class he pulled you to the side. he asked you a few questions about it; and after some reassuring words you told him about your regression. He just nodded his head and that was the end of it. Right?

💤 ; well, yes and no. This didn't affect how he taught you in his class. And he didn't really lower his intensity when it came to his rough training. (Afterall, you need to learn the hard way to get better at hero work right?) However after studying your behavior for weeks, he knew when you were Regressing and when you weren't. No matter how good you can mask it, he can sense something going on. Yk, dad senses.

💤 ; he knew he can't physically do much when it comes to training. It you were to slip during mid training he will take you to the side to have a small chat. If you're nonverbal/just don't want to talk about it, he'll take you back inside the school and let you hang out in the teachers lounge for an hour

💤 ; the teachers lounge is basically your small playground because of aizawa. There's a tv, books, a pillow fort, a toy box and fidgets. Don't have it? Just ask and he'll find a way to get it into the office

💤 ; he trust me. He was on his knees begging Nezu to just bringing in the books. Took alot of begging and convincing to get Nezu to bend. But he's got it

💤 ; can and probably will hold your hand at random when you're little. Missions are scary, especially if you're little and can't handle the stress— he will always hold your hand as if spiritually telling you he was there for you

💤 ; anyone saying anything mean to you/about your regression is a good way to be tied over the highway (of course not to the intensity point to where that person is in immediate danger. But to prove a point he wasn't to be messed with. Despite it sounding cruel, nobody says anything to his students. Even the other students.) Or he might just tie the person to a streetlight and it would take hours to get down. It just depends really

💤 ; immediately protective over you. If a villian even so much as put a hand on your shoulder, better watch out. Aizawa is on a rampage and nothing will calm him down until he got you back. And he always finds a way. I can promise you that

💤 ; if you misbehaved the only thing he'd do is put you in a corner and afterwards give you a stern talking to. But don't worry, he usually cracks and he can't find it in his heart to be stern with you

💤 ; proud dad. (holding a picture of you); "LOOK AT MY DAUGHTER/SON/CHILD!!" and will make sure to shove that picture in people's face like a trophy. He's.. interesting lol

💤 ; no such things as limited petnames? Have suggestions? He'll listen. If you don't want to be called anything, he'll listen! But if you don't care, he'll settle with "kid/kiddo/my baby"

💤 ; like taking naps? So does he. He'll invite you to his sleeping bag and will cuddle you inside it. He takes naps like 50% of the time. His favorite hobby fr

💤 ; the type of caregiver to check in on you often via messages. And hey, If you ask enough times he'd stop by your favorite restaurant before coming home

Sir Nighteye 🖍️

🖍️ ; being a caregiver isn't all sunshine and rainbows for him. He's often insecure about the caregiver 'lifestyle'. Often thinking you'd be better off with a different caregiver, or at least someone who could provide alot more than he could.

🖍️ ; after him being forced to stop being a mentor for Mirio, he grew distant and stopped trying to put effort into helping students in UA. Until he met you.

🖍️ ; him being your mentor and you being his new Mentee was something he didn't agree with at first. All might suggested the idea and he was like "I guess it wouldn't hurt to try."

🖍️ ; he was your mentor for let's say,, 5 months. And you two grown considerably close. Like any mentor and Mentee would. And that's when you had to tell him. It wasn't your cup of tea, but he'd end up finding out sooner rather than later eventually. His response being "oh. I think I saw that in a book of mine somewhere.." so I think he supports?

🖍️ ; it wasn't until the 7th month of his supervision he became your caretaker all together. (With our without guardian (s)) he still looked after you. Took you under his wing when you needed it the most you could say

🖍️ ; he noticed you slipped for the first time when you had a shut down. When he saw you start to cry, he began to almost cry too. Not that he can't handle negative feelings, but it's a weight in which if he messed up he knew he couldn't make up for it (depending the situation)

🖍️ ; that day he kept you in his arms, shushing you quietly and reassuring soft words to you. Not good with actions, but has a way with words for sure

🖍️ ; he cried once you drawn a picture of him. He put a thumbs up and said with a trembling breath: "it's good" while his glasses fogged with tears threatening to spill. My man can't handle affection in any way, trust me. Hell just end up either crying (happily) or praise you for like 2 hours. No in-between.

🖍️ ; he's like siri if you set a reminder but she doesn't stop reminding you and she doesn't shut up. That's basically how he is. "Did you drink water today?" "Did you get a good rest?" "Are you feeling better today?" He has good intentions, but he doesn't shut up

🖍️ ; carries around a backpack with things you might need. Coloring books and crayons, comics/books, maybe a few DVDs if they have a TV in the building, snacks, drinks and any gear if you use any

🖍️ ; if someone has something negative to say, they better say it to his face. And trust me, nobody wants that.

🖍️ ; afraid to look into your future, fear he may see something that he doesn't want to see. So, he tries his best to not do direct eye contact, to not trigger his quirk when with you. He is pretty cautious when it comes to the eye thing ,
