Mha fic ideas #24
This post by @chandralia reminded me of this idea I'd come up with forever ago.
-
Bakugou and Midoriya get hit with an amnesia quirk. They get along surprisingly well, which shocks their classmates. The class tries to keep their past tension and angst a secret, but of course it gets out...
And do you know what happens?
They don't care.
They see themselves fighting against each other with so much pain and "hate" in their eyes and think: 'Wow. What a bunch of dramatic bitches.' They do not care. If anything, they're both amazed by how badass they look fighting together and try to recreate some of the moves they see.
Izuku, idly flipping through one of his journals to try to get his memories back, stops on one page and snorts. "Damn, Bakugou. You were kind of a dick in middle school."
Bakugou shrugs, "Who isn't?"
"No no, look at this entry. It's even got my tears on it."
Izuku turns the journal toward him, pointing at a specific paragraph. Bakugou's eyes widen as he gently takes the book from him.
"Wow." He says.
"I know right?"
"Is that why i called you Deku in the video? It's meant to be a shitty nickname? Wild."
"Is it weird I kind of like it? It's got a nice ring to it."
They basically just spend the entire time clowning their old selves and having fun with each other without the weight of their past to stop them from being best friends. Maybe even closer...
The class is VERY concerned.
Uraraka: "Uhm. I'm glad you two are getting along... But why are you holding hands?"
Izuku: "We're trying to create irrefutable evidence of our compatibility so our memory-selves can get their shit together and confront their feelings when the quirk wears off."
Bakugou, snickering and pulling out his phone: "Smile, Izuku. I'm putting you as his phone background."

Concept: Deku's future kid ends up traveling back in time as a toddler. All Might finds her and she seems to know him, but he doesn't recognize her, so he asks her about her parents. She says her dad is a hero, has green hair, and is All Might's #1 fan.
All Might assumes she is Sir Nighteye's daughter.

They are rare, but, BNHA X Batman fics are awesome.
I like the ones where Izuku gets thrown back in time or even a different dimension and ends up growing up as Dick Grayson or even becomes a Wayne/Bat as Izuku.
However, I'm surprised I have yet to see one where Izuku goes back and turns out to be Tim. I mean, I get making him the first robin and all but common, TIM IS RIGHT THERE.
*side eye*
Like, Izuku doesn't even have that much in common with Dick. And I can't see him being the pun master with Juan(the left cheek) and Jim(the right cheek).
(For those who don't know, the names are cannon names for Dick's ass cheeks)
Considering all the Izuku fics that are out there, he always turns out to be a cryptied, sleep deprived, coffee addict that knows how to hack...
REMIND YOU OF ANYONE?! *jazz hands over Tim Drake*
idk, I just feell like I need a Izuku is Tim fic.
*side eye intensifies*

Mitsuki’s good Parenting, Hurt/comfort, Chapter 362 spoilers
Katsuki survives the attack but the scar on his face cannot be healed entirely. He struggles with his self esteem and avoids his parents, convinced that they’ll only care about how bad it looks and how he’s ruined his face. He braces himself for his mother’s disappointment when he’s finally released, body tensing and breath held as cradles his face in her hands, rubbing a thumb over the scarred tissue and studying him closely.
He’s prepared for the worst, and he gets it. Tears well up in her eyes as she whispers.
“I thought I lost you.”

Prompts that got taken down on AO3 #17
This is a Suspected Traitor fic idea, but better because so many that I've read, I disagree with, even if I admire that the things I don't like were done for angst purposes, and worked great.
However, like I said at the beginning, this is a book of things I want to read or write, soooo.
Izuku is the Suspected Traitor because of his notebooks, obviously. However, unlike normal, they don't go rifling through his room.
Aizawa is blunt, and already doubts that Izuku is "evil" or a "villain", AND he values privacy and discretion, so after dinner one night, he goes up to Mido's room, and basically says, "Hey, kid, there's a traitor in the school, and they think you're it. They want me to take your notebooks to go through as proof. Sorry my dude"
Izu basically goes, "oh worm? I already thought there was, All Might and I had talked about it, but I understand why my notes would be sus. Here, I have nothing to hide. There are some potentially questionable things, but it wouldn't be true analysis if I only had good stuff, yk?"
Maybe throw in a little bit of some bullying history explanation from Izu to Zawa? Izuku writes down the key to his 3 level code, sticks it in the top notebook, and hands him the last few, plus his oldest one to prove it wasn't new at UA.
Zawa apologizes again, and takes them with him, Izu goes to Kacchan and explains. (just realized that the fic ideas where kacchan/baku is in a good light, have kacchan, neutral have Katsu, and negative have Baku)
Kacchan is heated, admits that he knew that Izu was better at analysis, and that's why he got mad about the books when they were younger. He volunteers to head to the office after Aizawa and doesn't bother to wait for an answer. He gets there, knocks, sticks his head it, makes his statement, and then sits or leans on the wall outside to wait. The only reason he's polite in any way is because he realizes that this is important, or he could be short one now-rival.
Let's assume this is in second year, so 2-A.
Nedzu doesn't even need to hear out Baku, as in the notebooks Izu has been theorizing who he thinks the traitor is, and also apparently All Might had made his own statement clear, by saying that he wouldn't have given OFA to someone he thought was working with or would turn out to be a villain. This statement was made very loudly.
Nedzu apologizes, and he and Aizawa and some select other teachers work together to figure out who the traitor is. (For my sake, because the Manga reveal was shit, it is NOT Hagakure, that's the obvious out, it is NOT Aoyama, though I can kinda understand, even if it turned out he wasn't, just it's not 2-A or 2-B or teachers.)
Pick a random business kid, no one would suspect a management or business kid, and they would easily pass under the radar, since no one pays as much attention to the other classes that aren't heroics or heroics adjacent.

Story idea: Quirkless au, an already-jaded-in-his-early-twenties Todoroki goes to his father’s preferred college to study…well, he doesn’t know what yet, but he knows it needs to be something his father hates. There, he meets his diligent classmate, Bakugou. Bakugou interests him immediately; rough around the edges personality, awful potty mouth, but is at the top of his class and even manages a double-major. Who does that? And how does he do it?
One day, Todoroki discovers perhaps the most mind-boggling thing about Bakugou: he’s got a sugar daddy. It’s not his first, either, and interestingly enough, Bakugou considers himself a professional at this sugar baby business. “I’m not stupid. Only trust-fund kids and sugar babies get an education this good. I’m not the former so I went for the latter.”
He’s good at it, too, not just at keeping the daddies hooked, but also at keeping himself and his investments safe. More than being attracted, Todoroki is enthralled by Bakugou’s sheer nerve.
And he thinks if he really wants to piss off his dad…he might just have to become Bakugou’s newest daddy.

I have this scene stuck in my head and it entirely sparked this particular au idea. It centers around Iida and his counterpart.
Let me set it up! Iida from the D!u has captured a mugger that attempted to rob him. After the criminal has been caught Iida and another few heroes from the L!u show up. They’re wondering why D!u Iida of all people broke the law.
L!u Iida: “Why did you engage in vigilantism! You are already on thin ice because of the dimension traveling and breaking the law will only make things more complicated!”
D!u Iida: “I did not engage in vigilantism. I did not use my quirk. They attacked me first and as such as long as I do not use my quirk then it is simply self defense.”
L!u Iida: *spluttering*
L!u Hell class heroes: *shocked and staring at D!u Iida in disbelief*

Imagine Zutopia but Nick Wilde (the fox) is Shinsou from My Hero Academia and Judy Hopps (the bunny) is quirkless Midoriya from mha
I just feel like their characters would fit so well into that story and dynamic

Ok, so there is this one TikToker I watched that made this one Deku and All Might TikTok, and I'm gonna keep going on that idea. The TikToker was @leo_ani_
So the premise of the TikTok was Deku asking if All Might would have done anything if Deku hadn't stepped in. Then Deku says something like "you have a record of 0 casualties when on the scene, how many times have you been there and no one knew"
So like what if Deku hadn't been there, and Deku sees a news report later about how Bakugo died during the sludge villain attack, and there's a recording of the crowd and everything. And Deku sees him there, he sees all might in his skinny form just standing and watching. And the trail of hate that would put him down, this could motivate him even more to be the first quirkless hero to prove this bitch wrong, he might end up going the villain route, or Support Course with the worst case of spite. THE POSSIBILITIES!

Ditto Fic Ideas #27
(Bkdk 🧡💚)
"What? Not up for the challenge, Deku?"
Izuku frowned, "That's not-"
"Then put your money where your mouth is." Bakugou flashed a smirk, holding up a measly 2000¥ bill in his hands. "The rules are simple: First one to fall in love loses the game."
Easier said than done, when both participants are under the influence of a mutual-emotional-attachment quirk.
"You're on."
-
The main idea is that these two idiots get hit with a love quirk and, to spare themselves a scolding from Aizawa and prevent them from missing a class trip to one of Japan's largest hero exhibits, decide to keep it a secret.
Between codependency, secret handholding breaks, and an insane amount of across-the-room eye contact, they begin to wonder if their pride is truly worth pretending to care more about the 2000¥ than the (not so) new bubbling feelings...
Shamelessly inspired by this meme:

He stared blankly as the skeletal figure of the man walked away from him. His vision blurring, making the man look like a blob as he disappeared from his sight. His footsteps growing distant as the man continued to speak, apologizing and giving him suggestions.
"I know it's painful, but it's best to remain realistic." The man states as he opens a door. The green haired teen's continued silence caused the blonde man to sigh. Without any more words, he closed the door behind him with a soft click.
As though the sound had brought him back to reality, the teen began to tremble. Feeling his legs growing weak under him, he fell to his knees. Sobs wracked his body as he allowed his emotions to overflow.
"Why?" His broken voice croaked out, "Why is it so bad to be quirkless? Why am I considered so weak?" He asked the empty space of the surrounding roof.
The boy could feel the familiar feeling of anger bubble up within him. Instead of holding onto it, he let it out in angry cries that rattled his throat, "I'm human too damn it!! Just because I don't have a quirk doesn't make me less than!!"
The teen took in a deep breath and let out years worth of frustrations and anger out in a loud yell. His throat burning in protest even as he stopped to cough. His tears continuing down his freckled cheeks like streams of a river slowly began to trickle to a stop.
The boy curled into himself, numbly. His eyes itchy and irritated, throat scratchy and dry. He sniffled softly into his arm as he hugged his knees to his chest, "I just wanted to help people... I just wanted to be a hero..." He hid his face from the world, his body shuttering with tearless sobs, "Why can't I just be normal?" he asked himself as he closed his eyes.
Warmth, that's the first thing he was able to register. Warmth that enveloped his body in a comforting hug and beckoned him to fall back into slumber. But wait... wasn't he on a rooftop a few moments ago?
A gasp and a yelp, the teen sat up quickly to look around the room. It was both familiar and not at the same time. He didn't understand. The walls had posters hanging on their walls but none familiar despite the familiar faces. Quick steps rushing towards his room caused the teen to flinch and look up just in time to see the door burst open.
"Izuku, are you okay!?" Inko asked as he looked down at her son with worry in her green eyes. Izuku stared up at his mother with a bewildered look.
"Mom? Where am I?" Izuku asked confused
Inko's eyebrows scrunched up a little in equal confusion, "What do you mean, sweetheart? This is your room, are you alright baby? Did the fever get worse?"
As she spoke, Inko walked closer to place her hand on her son's forehead. A relived smile crossed her lips, her shoulders slumping, "Oh, thank goodness. It seems your fever has gone down. Perhaps you're just a little disoriented."
"A... fever?" Izuku asked, confused as he watched his mother pull his dark green curtains open. He didn't remember having a fever recently. He does, however, remembers being on the rooftop and an explosion. His body had reacted on instinct, and he ran for the stairwell.
Izuku could feel his body stiffen when he remembered tripping over a sidewalk. His eyes becoming blank upon recalling the way tiers screeched on the pavement and people yelled over him.
"Oh my, you must not remember much from the fever. You came home last night and had fallen ill, sweetheart. It was dangerously high last night. I was really worried, especially when I couldn't take you to a hospital because of the sudden storm that happened last night." Inko explained while she tied the curtains to keep them open.
Turning to face her son, she frowned in worry at how pale he looked. Worried he may feel nauseous, she grabbed the trashcan and placed it by his bed as she sat on the edge, "oh, honey, are you feeling any worse?"
"M... Mom I-" Izuku paused as he got a better look at his mother in the morning light. Her once dark forest green hair was as black as charcoal, "Y... your hair...?"
"Hm?" Inko ran a hand through her hair with a confused tilt of her head. Her eyes flickered down to her dark locks in her hand, "Is something wrong with it?"
Izuku stared at his mother for a silent moment before slowly shaking his head, "Ah... no... I just... I thought it was green." he states cautiously.
Inko let's out a soft snort before giggling, "Oh, my. Green?" She ruffled her son's hair, "Oh yeah, you're definitely not going to school today." With those words, she got up to her feet, "Give me a few minutes, and I'll bring you your breakfast, sweetheart."
Izuku watched his mom step out of the room in silence. The moment the door clicked closed behind him, he scrambled out of his bed and to his feet. He quickly rushed to look into the mirror he had on the back of his bedroom door. His eyes instantly landing on his hair.
Black.
Izuku's hair landed on his hair, gently tugging and pulling as he leaned in to stare at himself in the mirror, "What the fuck is happening?" Izuku mumbled to himself as he stared at his reflection. Everything about him was the same except for his hair, just like his mom.
Not to mention that memory... "I was so sure I died..." He murmured to himself as he slowly walked back to his bed. Plopping down to sit against his pillows, "Is this the work of a quirk? But then, why would they change our hair? This makes no sense..."
Green eyes looked up to look around the room once more. The morning light brightening up the room. All of his hero merchandise was gone and replace with something else. It looked like posters and figures of anime, along with bands and artists.
"Code Lyoko? Attack on Titan? Sailor Moon?" Izuku mumbled in confusion as he read out some of the anime posters. Relief flooded the young teen when he saw a familiar face, "The Wild Wild Pussycats... Wait... world Tour?"
Blindly, Izuku reached over for his phone. Once it was in his hand, he quickly turned it on and paused. His All Might background was replaced with a picture of himself and two unknown people. A boy with tired eyes and a girl with dyed pink hair. With growing confusion, Izuku unlocked his phone.
Opening google, he quickly looked up the hero team by name. His mouth falling open at the results, "Musical group...? Pop punk? Huh?!" Clicking one of the videos, Izuku sat on his bed dumbfounded as he watched the music video and listed to the catchy tune.
"Oh my god..." Izuku murmured to himself as he quickly opened google again and quickly looked up all of his favorite heroes.

Izuku quickly shut off his phone and tossed it to the other end of his bed, only to watch it bounce and fall to the floor with a thud. Grabbing his pillow, Izuku let out a muffled scream. He knows the real identity of heroes, and they aren't heroes?! Quirks weren't powers either, and superpowers are things of fiction! What the fuck was happening? Where was he?!
"Izuku, I have your breakfast." Inko called as she carefully opened the door while balancing a bowl on a bed tray. As his mother set the tray on his lap, Izuku couldn't help but wonder if he died and was sent to some alternate version of his world, or if this was all the work of a quirk.

Major character death/near death,  phone calls, angst, dadzawa (for anon <3)
Aizawa getting off of a mandatory day off where his phone has been on silent, his kitchen is finally clean, and he’s had enough sleep to actually forgo caffeine for once. He hasn’t checked the news and nobody has checked on him, it’s glorious. He feels great, until he turns notifications back on and looks at everything he missed.
There’s a string of voicemails from Bakugou.
Or, Shota is forced to listen to voicemail after voicemail of Bakugou through an unexpected villain attack, starting from serious but coherent but growing more desperate with each call until the last...
OR, the one time Shota takes a selfish day off, he loses a student (or almost), and it completely destroys him.

Growing up (growing out) put your roots down (dig them up) by Skulled
Izuku has a plant quirk, but specifically exploring his early years, as well as how OFA effects it, and why it wasn't noticed, what plants he can grow on himself, if he can stretch them farther out like shiozaki, and more plant kid squad bonding at UA (with him, shiozaki, kinoko and any others you can find)

Story idea I would like to write one day (I’ve been on a soulmate kick lately):
A person gains multiple marks—soulmarks—throughout their lives. The marks represent the people that will be important to them, help shape them, help them explore themselves. Fundamentally, anyone can decide what to make of their own bonds…except the first. Every story Katsuki has ever heard tells him that the first mark a person gains will be the most important, the most special, the person that will be with them for their entire lives.
And he can think of nothing worse than being shackled to Midoriya Izuku for the rest of his life.
(Extra notes on the story: would ultimately be Kiribaku and whoever else I decide to pair with Izuku, I go back and forth on him. Ultimately this would be to satisfy my hunger for more platonic soulmate Baku and Deku, because I am wholly obsessed with their friendship and rivalry.)
