So read through volume 31 of BNHA. I’m pretty torn about Endeavor. 

Like, on the one hand, he recognizes that what he did to his family was wrong, that he doesn’t really deserve their forgiveness, is admitting to everything he did publicly, and is working to help society in the best way he can, by still helping people as a hero, even with many people hating him or not trusting him anymore, for good reason. I don’t really know what more he could do to try to own up and make up for the amount of harm he caused to his family.

...on the other hand, part of me is still bothered about him walking free, considering that at least in the US (I don’t know about the specifics of Japanese law, though I’m guessing they have laws on the books about these situations as well), I’m pretty damn sure that the level of domestic abuse and child abuse that Endeavor inflicted on his family would be considered a crime, especially since, while the first two children he had with Rei were consensually conceived, I’m pretty sure that Shoto and possibly Natsuo were conceived under duress (to put it nicely), given how Rei felt about her husband discarding their kids if they didn’t have the correct powerset. 

It feels pretty messed up that the face of the group fighting against crime and villainy doesn’t seem to be held to the same standards as other citizens would if they did the same thing, even if he IS genuinely sorry and trying to make up for it as best he can. 

So yeah I’m torn. I’m not a huge fan of punitive justice and prefer more restorative principles, but something about that situation still feels pretty messed-up.

Thanks for the answer! ^^ yeah, that's the panel I was referring to. I actually didn't know that, I thought that that happened as a way of censoring something inappropriate in the panel and was wondering what was inappropriate about Shigaraki's room haha. that's very interesting tho. Do you know of any other examples of the magazine versions of chapters in BNHA being different/not shown, or is that the only one?

Would’ve love something like that, to see whatever was inappropriate enough to be censored in Shigaraki’s room; would’ve been amazing. Alas.

There’s a bunch of changes! If you go onto the bnha wikia and any of the articles about a volume, they have the changes listed. Might not be all of them, but a great deal of them are recorded. Mostly adding backgrounds and details; but sometimes whole pages are added (ex. in Volume 31, Chapter 302, Todoroki family flashbacks.)

🌩 MY HERO ACADEMIA VOLUME #31 🌩 🌩 Post-guerra, todo es un caos y aunque lo peor "ya ha pasado" este arco sigue sintiéndose "estresante" o incluso tenso. Vamos a hablar de lo que yo quería hablar de este tomo, la familia Todoroki, todo el mundo le echa la culpa a Endeavor de lo que pasó con su familia y con Touya y si bien es cierto tiene parte de la culpa (estando de acuerdo con Rei) pienso que en una comparativa Touya tiene el 80% de la culpa de lo que le pasó, literalmente se obsesiono el solo, eso de "solo mirarme a mi", "no apartes la mirada de mi" me suena a dady issues...siento que Endeavor esta realmente arrepentido y si muestra signos de querer hacer las cosas bien, así que si, yo apoyo a Endeavor y si pienso que el merece ese perdón y esa reforma de carácter. 🌩 Por otro lado esta Shigaraki que si bien es cierto esta siendo controlado por All For One y parece que está en desacuerdo (yo veo que en un futuro eso va a traer tanto conflicto que probablemente Shigaraki se ponga incluso de lado de la justicia dejando de lado a AFO) aquí estoy de acuerdo con Nana, pienso que es insalvable y que hay que matarlo...😶 (que no se note ni nada el rencor que le tengo por lo que pasó con Midnight, que por cierto...mi pobre mujer 😭 al menos Horikoshi nos ha regalado un dibujo muy bello de ella ❤). 🌩 Más cosas, lo de Deku siendo probablemente el último portador...tremendo para la historia 😌 además que tiene cierto sentido no? So to put in context how for behind I am in My Hero Academia/Boku no Hero Academia...

I only read the manga as it is released in America in book stores...

So I have read up to manga volume 31, and the last time I watched the anime was when they just moved into the dorms... wow that was along time ago!

I would try to catch up on the anime, but I don't have all the Seasons on DVD/blu-ray, and don't have whichever streaming service that got the rights to mha/bnha... yeah real flimsy excuse I know.

The other reasons are just YouTube and me reading instead of watching anything.
