TW// Body Horror/overall disturbing shit.
Double Header is an episode I still like! Ren is at his wit’s end with Stimpy for the millionth time and this, tries to send Stimpy to Ursa Minor, which doesn’t go well as the two get ran over by a bus and sewn together, hilarity and freak outs ensue. Mike Kim’s character layouts are awesome, I like Tom McGrath’s storyboards and the story is mainly consistent!
I sometimes forget how Games Animation could be more balls out in regards to the insane and spooky than Spümcô was, in this case however, it works!
I prefer this over it’s sister episode, The Scotsman in Space. Because unlike that episode, it has actual plot and character!

The Ren and Stimpy Show is a groundbreaking animated series that aired in the early 1990s, known for its surreal humor, unconventional animation style, and controversial content. Created by John Kricfalusi, the show follows the misadventures of Ren, a temperamental Chihuahua, and Stimpy, a dimwitted cat. The series pushed the boundaries of what was considered acceptable in children's animation, with dark humor and gross-out gags. While it gained a dedicated fan base for its bold and innovative approach, it also faced criticism for its adult themes. The Ren and Stimpy Show remains a significant cultural artifact, recognized for its impact on the animation industry and its influence on subsequent cartoons.
