Once upon a time, in the Shattered Teeth, in a time far before Vox Machina, Scanlan Shorthalt was attacked and knocked unconscious by a giant crab.

Bobby Socks, a literal child druid, brought Scanlan back to consciousness with a unicorn bandaid (aka cure wounds)

Scanlan, Bobby, and the rest of their party and Dr. Dranzel's band then went on to Tal'Dorei, where Scanlan eventually would meet some half-elf twins, a half-elf druid, a human gunslinger, a gnome cleric, and a goliath barbarian who would all become his close friends and would save Exandria

Without Bobby saving his life, Scanlan would not have saved the world

just a quick life update:

1. computer died and I don't think it's rescue-able this time

2. dad got in a car accident and now we have to go do wellness checks on him almost every day, plus it made the first threads of dementia he was having a LOT worse , he keeps forgetting I live in town now and will talk about visiting me in a town over an hour away that I've never lived in

3. this back up laptop overheats and randomly shuts off. There is no way it can handle adding any programs, and so I am using the web version of spotify and it is SO different - but my new releases bell is back!! though I can't find discover weekly or release radar

also I don't have adblockers and I'm worried about even adding one because it just runs so slowly already, I hate to bog it down - it does have avast though

4. some things I don't know that password for and neither does google so I can't get in, FUN

4. I have no interest in doing anything ON tumblr - but I thought I'd let you know I was alive

5. Bobby Socks by Green day is a bop/it fucks (whatever is the current slang for that, and I'm only three months late)
