Simon x BPD!reader Headcanons
A/N : I’m suffering by myself so enjoy. More a/n at the end.
As friends
It was strange at first, when you told him that he’s your favourite person.
He couldn’t accept the fact that you picked him, out of everyone in Task Force 141 to be your comfort person.
The both of you started out as teammates, eventually turning into friends.
Later on, you started getting attached to him. You looked forward to meeting him during meetings, standing beside him, or just sitting in comfortable silence while the both of you were doing your own thing.
He didn’t mind you being attached to him like he was a shark, and you were a remora fish. He actually found it… pleasant. He felt wanted.
He noticed you feeling jealous when he cracked jokes to other people.
When you guys started dating, you started showing your true colours.
In a relationship
He didn’t know you were diagnosed with BPD until one day you had a fight with him over something minor.
You were yelling at him at the top of your lungs with so much anger- (you kinda scared your boyfriend) and the next moment you were crying while apologising, begging him to not leave you.
The both of you sat down and ended up having a chat about your anger. That’s when you finally told him.
Simon read about it online to understand how to make you feel better.
It all made sense- the jealousy, the constant validation, mood swings, dissociation, and low self esteem.
He has a few ways to make you feel better.
He gives you gifts and notes to make you feel loved and to let you know you’re always on his mind.
Whenever he’s out without you, he gives you a simple text to let you know he’s busy and will be back into your arms soon.
Constantly reminds you that you’re the only one he loves. He tells you that you do not have to worry about him abandoning you because he never will.
Whenever he catches you dissociating, he sits beside you and holds your hand, or he hugs you close to his chest and kisses your forehead while mumbling sweet nothings.
If you ever apologise to him because you feel like a burden he will have the angriest face on. A literal death stare. He will also go on and give you a lecture about it. Beware.
He loves you so, so much and who is he if he doesn’t take care of the love of his life?
A/N : I am diagnosed, and I am not at all saying that everyone goes through this the same way as I am. This fic is based purely by my perspective and I apologise in advance if I offended anyone.
Reblogs and feedback are appreciated :)
