I know for a fact if you god forbid felt insecure he’s loving up on every part of you. “I don’t like how this shirt looks-” “Really cause you look perfect you want me to prove it to you?”

Now if it's more of a facial issue he definitely caresses your cheeks and comforts you and reassures you you’re beautiful in his eyes and he doesn’t understand why he can’t see the beautiful and kind-hearted person he sees in you.

Eating issues he’s definitely concerned about. If he notices you trying to avoid meals he’ll try and talk to you.

If you avoid talking to him he’ll wait until you’re ready to talk about what exactly is trying to make you starve yourself.

If you do tell him he’ll make your favorite comfort food and help you eat it while he snuggles on your shared bed and watches a movie/show you picked out.

If you have body dysmorphia either seeming too skinny or you seem more bloated and stuff he’ll reassure you your body is perfect to him no matter what size you are because you are always and will forever be perfect in his eyes.

Oh my god if someone made a joke to you about it, he’d kill them. “Isn’t that why-” “Shut the fuck up or I will shut you up.” and usually whoever is about to make a comment backs down after a masked 6’4 man threatens them 😭.

If you jokingly asked him to “Kiss the ground you walk on” He actually would just to prove how much he adores you

He likes taking showers with you, not for sex but for the intimacy of him washing your hair and him rubbing soap on you so he can praise you.

“God you’re so gorgeous.” “My perfect baby.” “I love you so much.” “You’re so beautiful right now I wish you could see yourself.” 

I enjoyed writing this a lot. Actually, this was cute :(!!

I like Letterkenny and Shoresy a lot - they're not perfect but they actually have a lot of progressive messages weaved into silly humour and they platform a lot of Indigenous Canadian actors. Notable mention for the ep when the town rallies to beat up white supremacists. But one thing that really irritates me is the lack of diversity in the 'hot' women. Men of all body shapes are allowed to be sexy and desired but there is quite literally one body type for the romantic women characters. Even if they stayed within the bounds of conventional hollywood/tv beauty, they are still incredibly narrow parameters in what types of women's bodies that put on this show. This of course doesn't touch on the wider discussion of real body diversity representation and desire being so subjective. This show won't even show a Beyonce-esque curve for goodness sake.

The women they cast are all excellent actors but after so many seasons watching, its hard not to internalize the message that there is one way to be hot if you're a woman which is wildly untrue.

One of my favorite things about How to Train Your Dragon as a franchise is the body diversity. If Disney made this movie they would all be body builders or rail thin supermodels. I love that Fishlegs is never the butt of jokes for his body (maybe for other things, but that’s beside the point) the background characters vary in size as well. Not to mention Snotlout being a short king.

Whenever people talk about hydrating the characters or making them fatter, Karlach is always left out. It’s always “Karlach is the only one it makes sense for to be buff” or “Yeah everyone needs some meat on their bones, except Karlach of course” like what?? Why not her too?
