this is a Bojack horseman roleplay blog, obviously.

I will not rp with anyone under 18 because I am super old

Been rping for over 15 years

Prefers 2 to 3 sentence rps but can do paragraphs

I have adhd and depression sometimes it gets too bad I can't write.

Please don't pressure for fast replies. If I'm a week late message me I won't be mad as I'm forgetful

Should be obvious I do not condone bojacks shittyness / what happened with penny is a 100 percent bojacks fault.

I do not consider 17 minutes canon.. i felt it was a retcon .. Bojack does feel deeply responsible for her death still and will probably never forgive himself for that bender

A deep self loathing

suicidal thoughts but he is more terrified of death since his drowning

Bojack timeline is currently set after season 6. He is trying his best to be better but he still has a lot of flaws such as self loathing, running off when overwhelmed, getting smashed on very stressful occasions

Bojack is anxious, deeply self loathing , lonely, clingy, sometimes he's a dick and egotistic but he is doing better at least thats what he tells himself.

He desperately wants to be a better man and a good friend to loved ones. His love language is buying things and trying to give advice and comfort when he sees people being blue. He has severe depression and understands how damaging it is.

Also has major mommy issues which can lead to ending in not great relationships he's prone to want to please authoritive women as he spent 50 years trying to please his abusive mother and has a deep seeded need to be taken care of

Is very protective towards kids and young people after losing his beloved costar Sarah lynn in a bender and becoming sober his brain finally put together the abuse she went through that he basically ignored on set something he deeply regrets.

Sarah lynn is his biggest regret and he strives to be a kinder and a better role model for young people

Has a podcast dedicated to drug abuse. As well as Child abuse and how to better protect child actors.

Both podcasts accept donations for charity's

He has a podcast about why the old doctor who is the best one. His most controversial podcast

He doesn't do politics he forgets to vote and after his stance on troops he keeps his politics to himself however he is mainly left leaning .

Pro gun. Anti drugs. Anti war..

He is LGBT rights friendly but has internalized homophobia due to his parents

Has a fear of romance in general due to all the failures...caused by himself.

I've spent so much time with the dubs that I can say the worse is italian i do not recommend it.

weakness season opinion is 6 I didn't care for the pickles/joey pogo plotline and found minus 4/5 eps of it to be dull but thats just my opinion.

as much as i think it be cool to see more prison time bojack its great to finally have an adult show with an actual ending

i. bojack: " usually, when people ask how i'm doing, the real answer is i'm doing shitty, but i can't say i'm doing shitty because i have nothing to feel shitty about."

ii. bojack: "you know that i don't do the whole love thing. either you end up hurting someone or they hurt you. so, what's the point?"

iii. (*this one deserves some context, so here's the full scene transcription) bojack: "taneisha, nobody completes anybody. that's not a real thing! if you're lucky enough to find someone you can halfway tolerate, you sink your nails in and you don't let go, no matter what."

taneisha: "so what? i should just... settle?"

bojack: "yes! thank you, exactly: settle! because, otherwise, you're just gonna get older and harder and more alone. and you're gonna do everything you can to fill that hole- with friends and your career and meaningless sex, but the hole... doesn't get filled. and one day you're going to look around and realize that everybody loves you... but nobody likes you. and that is the loneliest feeling in the world."
