I am not a huge fan of hip-hop music, but I am starting to love French Rap. Recently I made Zo listen to Youssoupha, but he didn't like him because he cannot understand what he is saying. Zo is one of those people that listen to hip-hop and judge it based off of lyrical content and musical composition, not off of how the vocals sound. I on the other had will listen to someone if I like the way their voice sounds. 

Being the semi stubborn person that I am, I'm determined to get Zo to recognizeYoussoupha as a good artist. I did some research:

Youssoupha (Lamine Youssoupha Mabika) was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo Aug 29, 1979. He is signed to Bomaye Music and has been rapping since 2002. He comes from a family of musicians and is a French Muslim. He is known for his nonviolence commitment and is extremely aware of the political events that occur globally.

(Zo) Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.  I can't understand one thing they're saying.  As far as I know he's saying Rumpa pum pa pa pa SUBWAy I get a medium pizza sub at SUBWAY  I always put melted cheese on my sandwich at SUBWAY. 

I just can't really appreciate it because I don't know what they're talking about and can't follow anything.  Now if it were French food on the other hand, I would be all on that shit....PA PA PA PA PA PA PA Croissandwich!!!

Actually, now that I think about it French food sucks, I probably like this better than most French foods....
