Hey! Would love to know your thoughts on the season finale of FAM.
(FAM 3x10 spoilers ahead) OMG!!!!!! many thoughts head full!!! i cried soooo hard while watching the last 15 minutes 😭😭😭 like i was not ready for THAT to happen..... i was expecting ed to die since the beginning of s3 and i was shocked when karen did. for real, i expected anyone to die but her. that whole bombing sequence was very difficult to watch, it absolutely broke my heart, and i felt very similar while watching gordo/tracy scene in 2x10. also i feel so sorry for wayne bc he lost both molly and karen 😭 that dude deserved better. wasn't that surprised that the writers decided to kill off molly, since she barely had any screen time this season, and i guess they just didn't know what to do with her anymore, after she was fired from nasa. at least they gave ellen somewhat of a happy ending in s3, i'm sooo happy for my girl <33 aaaand let's address the elephant in the room..... MARGO AND SERGEI...... yall......... i'm not gonna lie, it could have been MUCH worse. they're both alive and aren't imprisoned, so THERE'S HOPE. i thought sergei is gonna die 100% and i deadass screamed when he video called margo and looked so happy and healthy <333 before they showed margo in moscow i was almost convinced that she died in the bombings and i felt devastated. later, for a good few seconds, i thought she woke up in sergei's bed, because they showed her getting up straight after his scene 😂 but i guess that's just too good to be true HUH! anyways, i don't think it's over for them, still waiting for their reunion. not sure what's gonna happen next season, is margo gonna come back to the states somehow? will sergei become a series regular and work for nasa? 👀 we will have to wait and see!

Helena's Season 2 Timeline
As of 2x12 and all its reveals.
Pre-Season
Helena is emailing and talking on the phone with Mimi. Mimi tells her that she had a vision that Rosa came back to life.
Helena ditches Dirk and heads to Roswell.
2x01
Helena goes to Max's house and sees Liz and Rosa arguing about Rosa's necklace. Minor plot issue: how would she know they're at Max's house? Unless she followed Liz home from the funeral.
Picks up Mimi on the road to the Wild Pony at the end of 2x01 (which was apparently planned since Mimi was expecting her & happy to see her.)
In the car Mimi tells Helena that she saw Rosa in a vision. Helena responds that she had to see it for herself to believe it.
Helena tells Mimi that Jim Valenti told her when he was dying that Rosa could live again and that she was preserved. Mimi replies, "But you didn't believe him. No one ever believes us."
Helena says that if Jim was telling the truth about Rosa then everything else he said could be true too. "Like aliens are real and Jesse Manes has a weapon that can kill them. This means I have to go to war."
And then they go visit the bootmaker.
2x02-early in 2x03
Helena and Mimi spent a month in a hotel having girl time (watching movies and gossiping) while Helena tried to trigger more visions from Mimi.
Helena wears her blonde wig and goes to the hospital to steal Jesse's DNA. Did she also do something to trigger his stroke? For that matter, did he even have a stroke?
End of 2x04
Cam gets taken by either Flint and/or Helena
2x07
Helena makes her appearance at the Crashdown, has dinner with Liz and Max and Arturo, steals the ring and box, and signs the Crashdown over to Liz.
Rosa blows up her car.
Max confronts her as she's leaving and gets the ring back, but she keeps the box.
End of 2x08
Either Helena and/or Flint take Charlie after Max and Charlie rescue Cam from sniper Flint.
End of 2x10
Jesse kidnaps Alex.
Between 2x10 and 2x11
Flint steals Alex from Jesse's basement.
2x11
Apparently Helena tosses the box in Flint's trash can? Still don't know what the point of the box was other than A CLUE!
Writes Michael's ransom postcard, which Flint leaves on the trailer at Sanders' Auto.
Blackmails Michael (and previously Charlie) into developing the atomizer and toxin (i.e. the bomb)
2x12
We learn all of that. ☝️
Helena is the one managing Michael and Charlie while Flint is...off doing something else? She orders them to make two bombs. One loaded with alien DNA, one with Jesse's DNA.
Disguises herself as Jesse's housekeeper using her blonde wig and switches out the alien bomb with the Manes bomb while Jesse is in the shower.
Gives Charlie the alien bomb and tells her to destroy it (but basically gives her a choice in the matter...and Charlie doesn't know that she knows real aliens...still.)
Goes to Crash Con.
Argues with Flint who tells her that he "cleaned up the mess at the house".
And that's where things were left with her at the end of the episode!!
Crystal clear now, right? 🤔

Hello can you rec some good Octavia episodes? (apart from s6) i want to re watch but not the whole thing hahah
I would love to! Let me build you a complete Octavia episode list - what I consider the best and most important in her arc. (Under a cut, since it’s long.)
Season 1:
(I tend to skip the first four episodes, because I find them really cringeworthy, and Octavia is barely in episode 1x05. But if you wanna see her chase some butterflies, that scene is in 1x02.)
1x06 - “My Sister’s Keeper” - An obvious classic, where we get to dive deep into the Blake siblings’ history and how Octavia was exposed as an illegal child. Shows how simple mistakes can have lifelong impact, and really illustrates how complicated Bellamy and Octavia’s relationship is. Plus, this is where we get all of the first interactions between Lincoln and Octavia, and where Octavia’s rebellion against Bellamy’s rules takes a more righteous shape - from here, her goals shift from “do whatever the fuck I want because I finally can” to “do whatever the fuck I want because I need to protect this strange, new person, who is an outsider like me.”
1x07 - “Contents Under Pressure” - This is where Octavia’s stubbornness really takes shape, and we see her compassion and kindness in full bloom. She refuses to stay away from Lincoln, even though Bellamy keeps threatening her when she goes to the captive Grounder. She poisons herself to get Lincoln to give up the antidote, so Raven will stop torturing him. In a camp starting to go mad with power, Octavia is one of the few who tries to stop the brutality. The first time she talks to Lincoln, and he speaks back, and her face fills with joy and wonder - ugh, it gets me every time.
1x08 - “Day Trip” - Octavia’s role in this episode is smaller, but I really love the scenes she has. Realizing that everyone in the camp is tripping balls, she cleverly distributes the jobi nuts and uses the chaos to help Lincoln escape. I love her offering Jasper an “anti-grounder stick.” It shows her ingenuity, chaotic-good methodology, and her quick thinking, and I love all of her scenes in this episode.
Season 2:
2x02 - “Inclement Weather” - I think 2x01 is worth watching as well, if only to see Lincoln lug Octavia around like a sack of potatoes, and to see the first Trigedasleng lines spoken on-screen. But 2x02 is where Octavia really begins to shine again. After being given the antidote to the poison she was attacked with in the s1 finale, Octavia recovers quickly and is pissed. She takes Nyko captive, and attempts to use him to trade for Lincoln’s release from his people, who want to kill him (brutally) for being a traitor. When she stomps into their camp, holding a knife to Nyko’s throat and shouts, “I laik Oktevia kom Skaikru…and you have something I want!” - I fall in love. Ferocity in a tiny package.
2x10 - “Survival of the Fittest” - Octavia’s fight with Fio, which is one of my favorite scenes of hers. Everyone - from her own people to the Grounders - wants to stop her from getting herself hurt, from putting herself in danger. No one thinks she can handle it. No one trusts her to weather the storm, despite the fact that she’s been dodging lightning bolts her entire life. When she rises, again and again, refusing to go down, we really get to see her almost manic determination to prove that she’s a fighter, a warrior, and she won’t give up just because she’s in pain, or scared, or angry. Then, Indra offers her the chance to become her Second, and Octavia’s life changes forever.
2x13 - “Resurrection” - As one of the few to escape the bombing of Tondc unscathed, the pressure to save those trapped in the rubble falls on Octavia. She struggles to earn the respect of the other Seconds, but ends up saving everyone with her ingenious “let’s chuck this bottle of alcohol at this burning pile of debris and use the smoke as cover” plan. She’s able to keep everyone moving and takes charge, even while people continue to doubt her. By the end, she’s earned a respected and admired place among the other Grounders.
2x16 - “Blood Must Have Blood, Pt 2″ - Betrayed by Lexa, abandoned by Indra and the other Seconds, and knowing Lincoln is trapped and branded, yet again, as a traitor to his people, Octavia desperately tries to find a way to rescue the remaining delinquents inside of Mount Weather. She teams up with Bellamy, Clarke, and Maya to devise a plan, and ends up playing an instrumental role in protecting everyone - right up until Clarke is forced to pull the lever that irradiates Level 5. In many ways, this is Peak Octavia - she’s an excellent soldier, a badass, stoic warrior, and a surprisingly soft and understanding friend towards Jasper and Maya.
Season 3:
3x01 - “Wanheda, Pt 1″ - My primary reasons for loving this episode are aesthetic and pretty shallow. We get to see how far Octavia has come in learning Trig - she’s basically fluent at this point, and manages to act as translator between the Azgedans and the scouting squad. She’s in full Grounder gear, but is also clean and uninjured - a rarity for her. She saves Jasper’s life with a super slick knife toss, rides around on Helios like a pro, and shares some wonderful banter with Raven and Bellamy. It’s a fun one.
3x05 - “Bitter Harvest” - Octavia is doing her absolute best to protect both sides of her identity - the Grounders and the Sky People - but they’re making it very, very difficult for her. She has a bunch of amazing scenes. Saving the little boy named Gabriel, trying to warn the Grounders about the incoming attack, letting Gabriel pet Helios. Unfortunately, in trying to protect both sides, she betrays both sides instead, and Zoe Monroe ends up dead. It’s an underrated Octavia episode, because it really shows her true nature, and how even when she has the best intentions, she just can’t get things to go the way she needs them to.
3x09 - “Stealing Fire” - A really, really tough one, but essential to Octavia’s arc. The death of Lincoln kom Trikru, her savior, her soulmate, her true love. The building energy and tension of Octavia being born for this role, of using subterfuge and misdirection to sneak everyone out, of hiding under the floor with everyone, and of nearly escaping with Lincoln safely in tow…only for it all to go horribly, horribly wrong, at the last minute… it’s good TV, even though it’s heartbreaking. I’ll never forgive them for killing Lincoln. But Marie’s performance is stunning, and this is the beginning of Octavia’s downfall - which makes for some great television.
3x12 - “Demons” - I think this is one of the weirdest episodes of this show, but it’s also a really good one for Octavia. She’s pushed down all of her grief for Lincoln, focusing solely on getting the mission done, and on figuring out how to save everyone from ALIE. When she finds his book, and his jacket, and has that moment where she breaks down and shoves everything off the desk - my heart breaks for her. It includes some good Blake sibling moments, as well. Bellamy going from “don’t surrender, no matter what” to “here let me put these cuffs on myself for you” in a matter of 0.3 seconds because Emerson threatens Octavia is a top Blake sibling moment.
3x16 - “Perverse Instantiation” - Octavia reunites with Indra, and receives some pertinent and salient advice - don’t kill Pike until the fight is over, because they need him. Octavia fights with herself, coming close to ruining everything, but manages to swallow her rage long enough to fight alongside the man who executed her soulmate. But once it’s done, she does not hesitate - I was immensely satisfied, seeing her run him through with her sword, although it absolutely signals the start of Octavia’s descent into darkness.
Season 4:
4x01 - “Echoes” - Octavia begins her role as Skaikru’s assassin, taking out the men guarding Roan and allowing Abby to swoop in and save his life, saving all of their asses in the process. Again her role is limited, but she takes out the guards with a spear chuck and a badass knee-slide. It’s a cool moment. We begin to see the cracks in the surface as she starts spiraling more and more.
4x06 - “We Will Rise” - Tensions are very, very high in camp, as Ilian is being held as a prisoner for destroying the Ark, and pretty much everyone but Kane wants him dead. Octavia is still healing from Echo’s failed attempt to capture her, and has clearly gone even deeper into the darkness as a result of being pushed away by Kane and Indra. She allows the crowd to rush Ilian, then lets them drag him outside. She very nearly executes Ilian, in the same place Lincoln died, and in the same manner. Kane talks her down, and we get a very emotional and well-done flashback sequence of Octavia remembering Lincoln’s death. When she flees camp at the end, we can’t help but see her as a wounded, grieving kid, who took on way too much violence and brutality way too quickly.
4x07 - “Gimme Shelter” - Black rain strands multiple characters inside and forces them all to wait out the storm, dealing with rising resentments and anger. Octavia and Ilian find themselves sheltering in a cave together. Pushed to her limit by Ilian’s questions, Octavia very nearly walks out into the black rain, in an attempt to kill herself. Ilian rushes to pull her back in, and they consummate their brief, sweet relationship in a moment of mutual need.
4x09 - “DNR” - Octavia and Ilian try out peace for a while, to disastrous results. Her scenes are brief, but one of my favorite Octavia moments happens when she’s left to her own devices in the garden plot, moodily whacking at the soil, trying her best but clearly begrudging this peaceful lifestyle. Although the scene where she kills the other Grounders is brutal, it’s very effective. Octavia can’t escape the violence of her past, can’t pretend that she is able to go back to being an innocent girl. She still needs more time to see how much damage it’s caused her. Unfortunately, s4 kind of twists this arc and tosses it on its head, because she ends up being greatly rewarded and venerated for her ability to use violence to win the Conclave.
4x10 - “Die All, Die Merrily” - Even still, I can’t help but be enthralled by Octavia’s struggle in the Conclave. She uses her lifelong skills of hiding and making herself small to survive most of the battle. Then she teams up with Roan, showing that she’s willing to make allies out of enemies, if it ensures their survival. I’m still really sad at the way Luna’s arc ended, and that Octavia was the one who killed her - but it’s still a great episode for O, and one that really underlines her entire arc and character progression.
4x12 - “The Chosen” - Heda Octavia rises, though she’s never explicitly referred to as such, of course. Watching Octavia take the lead with uncertainty but steadfastness is so compelling. She takes on the entire human race as her people in 4x10, and then, she puts her money where her mouth is, forcing Skaikru to make the choice over who will be allowed to survive in the bunker, and who will be forced out into Praimfaya. It’s the beginning of Blodreina, in so many ways, and really sets her up well for her s5 arc.
Season 5:
5x02 - “The Red Queen” - Another classic. We get to dive deep into what happened during the six years that Octavia and the rest of humanity were trapped underground. Octavia chooses her new mantra, her new armor, and her new identity. She fights viciously, without mercy, and ends up triggering the start of an entirely new, but still very brutal, tribal culture. It’s a fun one!
5x04 - “Pandora’s Box” - My favorite parts of the Blodreina arc are where we get to see the cracks in the surface. When Bellamy breaks through the bunker to free Wonkru, Blodreina disappears and Octavia comes back, for the briefest of moments. She manages to look so small and vulnerable when she throws herself into his arms, despite her warpaint and armor. Her first interactions with Diyoza are so good, and the building tension of the other characters realizing just how much things have changed is palpable.
(For what it’s worth, I think most of the episodes between 4 and 10 are worth watching - but for the sake of keeping this as short as possible, I’m gonna skip those synopses. Octavia does a lot of posturing and power struggling with Bellamy and Clarke.)
5x10 - “The Warrior’s Will” - Blodreina is finally knocked down by her former friends. After throwing Gaia, Indra, and Bellamy into the fighting pits, she is thwarted by Monty’s dramatic entrance, with his miraculous flowering plant. Octavia, deep in her spiral, recognizes that the people around her do not understand that remaining in the bunker is untenable, impossible, and not something she can accept. She burns the farm. It’s the first time I was ever really mad at her, but it’s a very important part of her arc.
5x11 - “The Dark Year” - After an entire season of teases and hints, we finally, finally get the long overdue explanation of what exactly happened in the bunker during the infamous “Dark Year”. Although the cannibalism thing was pretty obvious at that point, and almost everyone in fandom had figured it out, there was still something very shocking and unsettling about seeing the way it played out. I think the true twist comes from two places - that is was all Abby’s idea in the first place, and that Octavia is forced to execute her own people in cold blood for refusing to take part. They’re epic, emotional, difficult scenes, and Marie knocks her performance out of the park.
5x13 - “Damocles, Pt 2″ - It takes losing nearly all of her people, and almost losing her adoptive sister/close advisor, but Octavia finally comes to see the error of her ways. They gave her about fifteen different, gloriously perfect lines to go out on. She marches into the light, shooting like a madwoman, screaming her mantra - and then she drops to her knees, ready to give herself up to save her family. In some ways, I wish she had died, but really, I can’t lie - I cheered and felt overwhelming relief when Emori, Echo, and Murphy bust in with the rover, saving the day. In the later half of the episode, we get some excellent Blake sibling moments, as well as a great conversation between Diyoza and Octavia.
Those are for you, anon, since you only wanted the first five seasons! For the rest, who might’ve followed along this far, and want to know where to go from here:
Season 6:
6x02 - “Red Sun Rising” - While everyone else goes crazy from eclipse toxin, Octavia just goes crazy. Seeing her struggle, wanting the surviving members of Skaikru to beat her up, is so heartbreaking. I think this is the episode where I really started to resent Abby and the way she treated Octavia. Lots of great little Niytavia moments, as well as a deeply frustrating but compelling Blake sibling reunion.
6x04 - “The Face Behind the Glass” - Giving Octavia a scared little girl to look after was one of the best things this show has ever done with her. Octavia thrives best with a clear goal, defined mission, and identifiable enemy. She has all of those things in this episode, but tragically, she cannot prevent the Children of Gabriel from killing Rose. It’s a surprisingly emotional arc in the midst of a lot of sassy angst.
6x05 - “The Gospel of Josephine” - The Octavia/Diyoza team-up this season was everything I wanted, and so much more. The scenes of them talking in the weird quicksand stuff are so interesting. It’s great to see Diyoza give her version of a pep talk to Octavia, and I love the banter between them and Gabriel. Also, the little nod she gives Diyoza after coming up out of the muck - “guess you want to live after all” - it means goddamn everything to me, okay? Don’t touch me, I’m emotional.
6x09 - “What You Take With You” - Our babygirl pops out of that anomaly lookin’ fresh and clean and younger than she did at the beginning of s5. We still don’t know what happened to her in there, but we do get a certain visualization of the emotional and spiritual journey she’s gone on, which has resulted in her dramatic transformation. I really loved her mindscape scenes, the return of the butterflies, and even Pike’s return, as much as he makes my blood boil.
6x12 - “Adjustment Protocol” - Bellamy and Octavia can finally work together again without going at each other’s throats. Seeing this improved, peaceful version of Octavia is so satisfying, especially after two solid seasons of her unquenchable bloodthirst.
6x13 - “The Blood of Sanctum” - At the end of reliving her arc in my head, via writing this, I have only one thing left to say: Octavia Blake is a badass mothafuckin’ bitch and there is no way in HELL that she is dead.
Thanks for reading! If anyone actually decides to use this as an actual watch guide, lmk. If you think there are any really important ones that I missed, give me a shout!

Katarina-related dialogues, not including Cape May and Requiem episodes.
This is quite long, but it’s my full list.
1x1 -
Red: I mean, look at you. Abandoned by a father who was a career criminal, a mother who died of weakness and shame.
2x10 -
Liz: I have no recollection of my mother or my father - not their faces, nothing.
2x15 -
Denner: And your mother? Liz: She died when I was young. The man who raised me, my adoptive father, his name was Sam Milhoan.
2x19 -
The Director: I never saw it before. Liz: Saw what? The Director: How much you look like your mother.
2x20 -
Liz: I had the photo enhanced. It’s a rough extrapolation of features since the face was almost entirely blown out. I ran it through every FBI database from facial recognition, mug shots, surveillance feeds - Tom: Or I could just buy this boat, and we could disappear. Liz: Do you know how many images are in the NGI database? Tom: If we go away, none of that matters Liz: And not a single one of her. Tom: Reddington knows who she is. Liz: I know who she is. That girl - that’s me. And the woman - I believe that may be my mother. Tom: That mean Reddington’s your dad? Liz: No. My father died when I was 4, in a fire. Reddington was there. I think she may have been too. Tom: Why don’t you just ask him? Liz: If Reddington wanted me to know the truth, he would have told me by now. He wants to keep me from knowing, and he will bully anyone who might help me into silence. Tom: Well, that’s his tell - the silence. Berlin had me keep tabs on him, or try to. The mere mention of his name was like I’d asked for their first born. He thinks the fear protects him, but the fear he instills - silence can’t hide it. You can see it in their eyes. Whenever I did, I knew Reddington had been there. Liz: What? Tom: That stamp. The ring - I’ve seen it before. Liz: Where? Tom: Berlin. He wore a ring with that exact hallmark. It’s a Russian inspection stamp. Liz: You know people who worked with Berlin. You could reach out.
Tom: Did the same thing last month. It’s probably why you don’t recognize me. Constantin. Berlin, man, he’s tough. I had to get away for a while, go to Germany, figure a few things out. Constantin: I come here for the peace and quiet. Tom: Sure. Sorry. Gosh, you know, I just thought maybe you could help me. Man: He said to piss off, pal. Tom: Just take a minute. Constantin: I don’t know who that is. Tom: I think you do. Why don’t you take another look? Attendant: We got a problem. Liz: Let him go! You okay? Tom: Yeah. Liz: I believe he was asking for a name. Constantin: I can’t. I swore on my life I wouldn’t. Liz: You swore to whom? Son of a bitch. Tom: Who’s Bill Kershaw?
Liz: Where is it? I know it’s here. That’s how you knew I was here, how you knew I saw the picture. It’s why you threatened people. Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Hello, Mr. Kershaw. I saw your name on the mailbox. I know you’re listening. You know how I know? Because this is where you keep all of your secrets. And you don’t want anyone finding those out, do you? Well, unless you answer my questions, I’m gonna find every last one. Red: Let me have your phone. You’ve made your point, Agent Keen. It’s time we discuss the photograph.
Red: The girl is you. And the woman is your mother. Liz: What was her name? Red: I knew her as Katarina Rostova. One of her many names. She was a KGB agent. Liz: The girl - the night of the fire, they called her - Red: Masha. You were born in Moscow. Your parents - uh, father and - they were both in foreign intelligence. Liz: You said she died of weakness and shame. Red: Yeah. Liz: You were there that night. I need to know what happened. Red: You want to know. There’s a difference. Liz: Dr. Orchard told me someone blocked my memory of that night. Was it you? Red: Yes. Liz: Why? Red: I’m not going to tell you. Liz: You have a picture of my mother in your weird, little apartment. Why? Were you in love with her? Is that why my father died? You killed him because you were in love with my mother. Tell me what happened. Please. Red: I’m not gonna tell you what happened, Lizzy. Liz: Then I’ll find out for myself.
2x21 -
Liz: There’s something I want to make clear with you. Red: Karakurt is known in the intelligence community as the left hand of the SVR. Liz: It’s not enough for you to tell me that my mother was KGB and that I was born in Russia. Red: In truth, he works for the Cabal. They smuggled him into America because they know if he commits an act of terror here, your government will blame Moscow. Liz: My mother and my father, who they are, what happened in the fire - I’m gonna find out the truth. Red: I’m sure you will, Lizzy. But listen to me. The Cabal is orchestrati - Liz: I get it. The Cabal is trying to start another Cold War, and an act of terror committed here is step one in making that happen. I am listening to what you are saying, and I know that it’s important, but it is no more important than what I am telling you, and I need you to listen to that!
Liz: Hey. Can you help me with something? Katarina Rostova - you heard of her? Masik: I don’t know who that is, but I doubt very seriously that that is Katarina Rostova. I don’t think there are any photographs of Katarina Rostova. Liz: Why do you say that? Masik: She’s a myth. Tall tales late at night over vodka shots. Probably an amalgamation of a half-a-dozen unknown female Soviet operatives - The Pinko Mata Hari. Liz: You said your CI works with the Old Guard. Could you ask him about her for me? Masik: If anybody knows anything about Katarina Rostova, he will. Send me a copy of your photo. I’ll see what I can do.
Liz: Reddington didn’t give it to me. I found it in one of the places he stays. Ressler: And you think this is a photo of your mother? Liz: I don’t know. That’s what Reddington told me. But that girl, that is definitely me. The agent back there, the CI he mentioned? That could be my chance to find out something about the woman holding me in that photo. Ressler: Why would a Russian CI have information about your mother?
Liz: I’ve got a lead on my mom. An Orea agent, he has a CI who might know something about Katarina Rostova. Red: Dr. Kimberly was a tenured professor doing genome research at Stanford when she was recruited by the private sector. Liz: I’m gonna find out the truth. Red: She makes her real money consulting. Costs a fortune. She did, however, let me name a lipstick color - “Fire In The Hole.”
Velov: The American government. They may not be done with me yet. I got a phone call from FBI. An agent named Elizabeth Keen. Red: Really? What about? Velov: She wants to meet. She was asking about Katarina Rostova. Red: Did you know Katarina Rostova? Velov: No, not personally. All I know are the same old ghost stories we all share. Red: Well, if you were in my employ, I would have to insist you not speak to anyone from the FBI or any other US intelligence agency. Velov: Of course. And Agent Keen, she wasn’t the first. Sometime back, two men from Justice Department come and ask me about Katarina. I suppose they think I am one of the few people left who still remember the old stories. Red: What sort of stories? Velov:They were asking about her KGB contacts, where she lived, and about a child. Red: They asked about a child? Velov: Yes, many times.”Tell me about her child.” I said, “All I know is they say she had a daughter.” Red: Dembe, the phone.
Red: Lizzy, you need to get out of there now. Liz: Why? Where are you? What’s going on? Red: You’ve been set up. The Cabal’s been asking about you, Lizzy. They know who your mother was. You’ve been set up. You were there when the Orea building was bombed. They wanted you to save Clifford Hawkins. They sent Karakurt to the memorial to make you think he was the threat so you would secure the Senator and infect him in the process. Liz: I don’t have the virus. Red: You do, Lizzy. I don’t need a test to know that you do. Your mother was a Russian spy, and now they’ve made it look like you are too. You have the virus. You infected the Senator, and now they will come for you. You need to get out of there now.
2x22 -
Liz: You were right. It’s all set up. Cooper and Connolly - I heard them arguing. He’s got it all figured out. He’s presenting evidence, using my mother, making it seem like all I’ve been doing is helping you commit crimes. Red: Lizzy, are you out? Liz: I’m leaving now. Red: Dembe’s on his way. As soon as you’re out, find your way to Illinois and Ridge. He’ll be there waiting. Liz: Yeah. Connolly: Hello, Agent Keen. We’ve been looking for you.
Interrogator: Cut the crap. We know who you are. Where were you born? Liz: I was raised in Nebraska. Interrogator: That’s not what I asked. You were born in Moscow. Your mother was a KGB agent named Katarina Rostova. Your adopted father had a criminal past you failed to mention. What is your birth name? Liz: What? Interrogator: Your birth name? For most people, that’s a pretty simple question. Liz: I never knew my biological parents, and my memories were blocked. Interrogator: You expect us to believe that? Liz: I don’t care what you believe. Interrogator: Intel indicates the existence of a Russian sleeper agent within the FBI. Liz: Then maybe you should go out and look for him. Interrogator: We know the truth, Masha. That’s your real name, isn’t it? Masha Rostova. Answer the question, Agent Keen.
Liz: Anton Velov? Agent Keen, FBI. We spoke briefly on the phone a few days ago. Velov: Keen. You were looking for information about Katarina Rostova. Is that why you’re here Liz: Not entirely, no. Velov: Good. Because if you were, you have wasted your time. As I told you, I never knew Katarina. Liz: I need you to tell me where I can find Leo Andropov. Velov: How should I know where he is? Liz: You were a CI for one of the Orea agents that died in the bombing. You recorded a conversation for him that took place here in this restaurant, and we know Andropov was a part of that conversation. So I’m gonna ask you again, where can I find him? Velov: There is a safe house in Ivy City. Liz: A safe house. An address? Velov: L Street, across from Olive’s Diner. Now, if there’s nothing else - Liz: That’s not what you told me on the phone. You said you could help me with Katarina Rostova. Velov: I don’t know anything. I told you how to find Andropov. Liz: And now I want you to tell me about her. Velov: I can’t say. Liz: First, you don’t know. Now you can’t say. Which is it?
Liz: You got to him. Red: I retained his services. Liz: In exchange for his silence about my mother. Red: Harold told me the man who infected you was the virologist Andropov. Liz: You got me out of the post office. You gave me a chance to prove my innocence. I know you think you care about me. But every time you do something that makes me think you really do, you do something else that reminds me that you simply aren’t capable of it. Red: I’m a sin eater. I absorb the misdeeds of others, darkening my soul to keep theirs pure. That is what I’m capable of. Liz: What sin of mine could you possibly have absorbed? Red: Andropov - do you have a lead? Liz: I do, and I’ll handle it on my own, because that’s what I’m capable of.
Liz: That’s everything! No! Oh, God! Stay with me! Come on! My mother - he’s the only one who knew about her. Tom: Liz - Liz, he’s gone.
3x1 -
Liz: If I didn’t know any better, I’d believe him. Red: But you do know better. Liz: They’re gonna believe I’m a Russian spy. My mother was a Russian spy. It doesn’t matter that I never knew her. It’s the perfect story. I’m the perfect patsy.
Liz: She was blonde. My mother. That picture in your apartment - she was blonde. I look like her, don’t I? Red: We are out of time. Liz: Is she alive?
Liz: When I was a little girl, I used to imagine that my mother was a prima ballerina who danced for kings and queens in London and Paris. And she only left me with Sam until she could come home again and sweep me away. I never would’ve imagined. What happened to her? My mother. Red: There was a time in my life when I was quite sure I knew exactly what happened to Katarina Rostova. But after all these years, I’m not sure I have any real sense of how or why she disappeared. Liz: Everyone talks as if she was a terrible person. Was she?
Red: Katarina Rostova was the cleverest, most resourceful woman I have ever known. Liz: What are you saying? Red: No matter how dark the moment, she could always find her way through. Liz. She was a Russian spy who I never knew. Red: No, you didn’t. But that doesn’t mean your mother is gone. I see her in you every day. She’s as much a part of you as the air you breathe.
Samar: All checkpoints just reported in. There’s no sign of her. Ressler: She didn’t get out. She’s gonna need a place to stay. Who’s gonna harbor an international spy? Samar: That’s it. A spy. Her mother was a Russian spy. Ressler: Son of -
3x2 -
Liz: He’s been turned. The Cabal framed me. Who better than the daughter of a KGB agent? Raskovich: Hmm. Katarina Rostova. Liz: A KGB agent was turned, but it wasn’t me. It was Karakurt.
3x5 -
Liz.: I lost my mom when I was a little girl. I know how you feel. Blair: You don’t. Liz: I still think about her every day - what we might talk about, what her voice might sound like. I promise you, I had nothing to do with your mother’s death. I will do whatever it takes to find the people responsible. But I can’t do anything until you take me off that site.
3x11 -
Red: The Cabal is in green. Their affiliates are in red. Their competition is in blue. Red: Since I’ve been a fugitive, the pestilence on this map has only grown. This is what we’re up against - a multi-headed hydra. You cut off one head, it grows two others, you have to cut off every head and burn the rest of it. It’s a mythic battle, and it’s not anywhere close to being over. Liz: It’s your battle, not mine. Red: I wish that were true, Lizzy. But the manhunt revealed certain facts that had long been hidden about you. Liz: Me? Red: Katarina Rostova was a name that had been lost to history. Masha Rostova was never more than suspicion and rumor. The manhunt and the publicity it generated changed all of that. Liz: But who would care that I’m Katarina Rostova’s daughter? Red: The daughter of a legendary spymaster, the secret-keeper who disappeared - Liz: Disappeared? You and Sam told me she’s dead. Red: The secrets she took with her could compromise any number of players on that map. They’ll be coming. They’ll be coming for you. Liz: But I don’t know anything. Red: They don’t know that. You can’t walk away, Lizzy. They won’t let you.
3x12 -
Red: Lizzy, I misspoke earlier about your child. I said that having it would be inconvenient. When your mother was pregnant with you, it was terribly inconvenient. The Cold War was ending. Her country was falling apart. Everything she had ever known. She dreaded having a child. Almost aborted it. Not one day of her pregnancy did she ever think of you as anything but a curse. And then, from the second you were born, there was never a day when she thought you were anything but a blessing. In my experience, there is never a convenient time to have a child. It certainly isn’t a convenient time for you. But if in saying that, I left you with the impression that I didn’t think you should have your baby, I’m sorry for that, because nothing could be further from the truth.
3x13 -
Liz: My mother - was she still alive when I was placed with Sam? Red: Yes. Liz; Why did she do it? Red: I let myself in because the situation is urgent. On Wall Street, a well-planned merger can return a windfall profit. Criminal enterprises are no different. The promnestria convinces sworn enemies that there is more profit in friendship. In return, he gets a percentage of the new venture. He only surfaces when he sees an opportunity for enormous financial gain. And I’m afraid he has resurfaced to unite two very lethal enemies. Liz: How did my mother die? Red: As I said, the matter is urgent.
Liz: I found a couple - to take the baby. Thinking about it is one thing, but actually doing it - How did she do it - my mother? Red: Your parents loved each other very much. The Cold War was hard -  too hard for your father. When the Soviet Union was collapsing, he took you from her. She gave up everything to follow him, to follow you. Liz: The night of the fire - that’s what they were arguing about? Red: Your mother, despite what he’d done, she wanted him back. She wanted them to be a family. As much as it pains me to say it, he was probably the only man she ever really loved. Liz: And I shot him. Red: It was an accident. Liz: Tell me. I need to know. Red: Your mother was never the same after that. The man she loved killed by the child she adored - it was just too much. Two months later, she went to Cape May and left her clothes on the beach, walked into the ocean and was never seen again. Liz: So, that night, I killed both my parents. Red: You were a child. There should never have been a gun for you to grab. Looking back, I’m not sure I shouldn’t have raised you myself. I don’t want you looking back with that kind of regret.
3x16 -
Liz: I just wish - despite everything she’s put me through, I wish my mom could be there. Cooper: Of course you do. That’s only natural. Liz: I mean, everybody has something to say about her. I just wish I knew the truth for myself, you know? Cooper: And you’re sure there’s no one who can help you find it? Liz: I tracked down this one man - Anton Velov. He said he didn’t know much, but I think he was holding something back. Cooper: Sounds like you should pay this Mr. Velov a visit.
Darla: Anton. Your guest is here. Velov: Thank you, Darla. Liz: Thank you for meeting with me, Mr. Velov. About a year ago, I came to visit you in your restaurant. Velov: I remember. You were asking about Katarina Rostova. Liz: That’s right. I was hoping you could answer a few more questions for me. Velov: She was just a name. One of many I heard when I was with Spetsnaz. Beyond that, I know nothing. Liz: Please. She was my mother. Velov: Dear, I cannot help you. I would if I could, believe me. I, too, have daughter. The life I led, the things I had to do, she won’t talk to me. I try to explain, but there are some - some things which can never be forgiven. Liz: I’m sorry, um - why did you agree to meet with me if you can’t help me? Velov: My daughter. I don’t know where she is. I am dying. I have written her this letter. You are with FBI, no? You can find her. Give it to her. Please. It explains everything.
Darla: He told her nothing. Red: You’re certain? Darla: He spent most of the time talking about his own daughter. Red: Thank you, Darla. Dembe: She deserves the truth. Red: Watch the road, Dembe.
Liz: My mother’s alive. You lied to me. Red: Velov is the one who lied to you, Lizzy, not me. Katarina Rostova committed suicide in 1990. Liz: Velov was the agent assigned to find her. He was getting close, she knew it. That’s why she allegedly walked into the ocean. She wanted the world to believe she drowned. Red: But Velov knows differently. Liz: He tracked her to a hotel in Prague. She had just left. But in such a hurry, she missed this - a photo of her little girl. Me. Red: That could easily have been planted. Liz: You said the name Masha Rostova had been lost to history until the manhunt. Now it’s out there, and someone’s looking for me. It’s my mother. Who else would care? Who? You were right. Some things can’t be forgiven.
3x17 -
Liz: Reddington. It’s her, isn’t it? Solomon’s employer. It’s my mother. Who else would call me Masha Rostova? Red: Lizzy, your mother is dead. Liz: Then who is it? Who? You owe me this. Red: I’ll tell you what I know as soon as I know you’re safe.
3x18 -
Liz: Reddington’s lying to me. I know it. If my mother wasn’t trying to abduct me, why’d Solomon ask for Masha? Tom: Do you really think this woman is gonna hire a team of mercenaries to kidnap her own daughter? Liz: If that woman knew Reddington, she would. She’d know it’s the only way to pry me out of his grip. But where’s she been all this time? And why’d Reddington say she’s dead?
3x20 -
Red: I was just imagining young Katarina covered in glitter. As an adult, it’s easy to dismiss this stuff as girlish frivolity. You forget the wonder it creates, the light captured, secret wishes evoked. It renders even the darkest days sparkly.
Red: I feel bereft, just like you. Dom: No, not just like me. She’s gone because of choices you made for both of them. First Katarina and then Masha. As far as I’m concerned, you killed my entire family! No, you’re not like me.
Tom: Liz was convinced that her mother was the one who tried to kidnap her. Reddington said she died years ago, but Liz didn’t believe that, and neither do I. I think we’re staring at Katarina Rostova.
4x1 -
Kirk: Listen. you were my entire life. You were all your mother and I ever cared about. Now you don’t know any of that because Reddington took you away from us when you were just a little girl. He and your mother had an affair. For a time, I thought maybe he was the father, but I have proof that he’s not. He’s just a spiteful, evil man. Couldn’t accept it when Katarina broke off the affair. One day I came home, and you were gone. He’d taken you. I never thought I’d ever see you again, until there you were - in the news, you and Reddington, the most wanted fugitives in the world.
4x2 -
Kirk: What’s the memory of a small child? You didn’t remember me or your mother or this room. Reddington lied to you, Masha. He told you your father was dead, but thanks to you - what you did on the water - I’m very much alive. All the stories Reddington’s told you about who he is and his connection to you - he knew you were looking for answers and he took advantage of that to re-enter your life. But the answers you’ve been looking for are here. Reddington, he was in love with your mother and he’s obsessed with you.
Katarina: There you are. Did you bring some treasures? Oh, these are beautiful! This is a time machine. One day you will come back here, open it, and remember me. Masha: Yes, Mommy.
4x3 -
Tom: Find anything? Liz: About Agnes? Maybe. About my mother? Definitely.
Red: Study date? Tom: This is what the FBI confiscated from Kirk’s estate. Red: Anything interesting? Liz: Yeah. My mother’s journal. She talks about you. About the affair. I’m up to the part where she writes about you pressuring her to leave her husband.
Katarina [Journal]: Seeing Masha with Constantin makes me think of my own father. I wonder what he would say now about the choices I’ve made. Look at me - in love with the man I was sent to seduce and betray. An American. Raymond wants me to run, take Masha and disappear with him, but how could I do that to her? She’s my entire life. She’s everything.
Liz: Reddington didn’t just have an affair with my mother. She was assigned to him, to be in his life - the way you were assigned to be in mine. Tom: For which I am forever grateful. Liz: Be careful, okay? I lost Agnes. I can’t lose you too. Tom: You haven’t lost her. When this is over, you’re gonna have both of us back.
Katarina [Journal]: Today, the doctor confirmed our worst fears. Constantin is going to need blood transfusions to raise his blood count. He’s known his whole life this day might come, but still it’s - it’s terrifying. The only blessing is that this accursed disease that has afflicted his family for generations is passed from father to son and that Masha is safe .... Masha.
Liz: I think I know why Kirk wanted that virus. I saw him getting a blood transfusion at Cape Breton. My mother wrote about his family’s history. Generations of Rostovs had the same disease - a rare blood disorder that’s been killing them for centuries.
4x4 -
Kirk: I see you’re wearing your mother’s bracelet. I’m glad.
4x6 -
Red: Any word from Kirk? Liz: You mean my father? Red: Honestly, Elizabeth, it astounds me that you could be hornswoggled by something as simple to fabricate as a DNA profile. Liz: Not just the DNA. It’s memories - places I recognize, things we did together. A time capsule we buried in the yard that no one else would know about. Red: Just because he was your mother’s husband doesn’t make him your father.
Liz: You know what’s gonna happen if I make that call. He’s the only one who can give me answers about my past, my mother. They’ll put him in a hole. I’ll never see him again. Tom: If you don’t, we may never see Agnes again.
Liz: Clearly your only concern is that it might actually bother me that I’m about to entrap my biological father, that because of me, he’s gonna go to prison for the rest of his life. If I go through with this, you will be my only link to my past. I lost Sam. I lost my mother. And I’ll lose Kirk. And whatever you want to call him, he was married to my mother. He raised me as a child. And he’s willing to do what you are not - tell me about who I am.
Kirk: There is no other way, solnishko. This man, that took your mother away from us, took you from me - he will not have my granddaughter.
4x7 -
Kirk: You remind me so much of her. Your mother. She was an amazing woman. I’ve been wanting to tell you about her. I thought we had more time. Liz: Whatever stories you have - Kirk: Not stories. Truths. About her and about Reddington.
4x8 -
Kirk: I don’t really know how we got here, Raymond. I remember being an honest businessman in a happy marriage until you came along. Red: Constantin, I can save your life. Kirk: Seduced my wife. To her credit, Katarina broke it off, but you couldn’t let go. Red: I have a cure. Kirk: I came home one night and they were gone - my wife, my child. Red: 202-555-0198. Kirk: My girl who’s not even my girl. Red: If you wanna live, call the number. Kirk: As you can imagine, I have many questions. Red: There’s a science. Some sort of genetics. It’s called CRISPR. Kirk: Your magic bullet to save my life is some experimental treatment they’re not even testing on humans. Red: CRISPR is not just experimental. Kirk: Gene re-sequencing may work someday, but I won’t live that long. Red: There was a breakthrough 19 years ago by a scientist who was murdered. His partner carried on his work on humans, not animals, with remarkable success. I have a doctor who can apply that science today. I can make her available to you. Kirk: And why would you save my life? Red: Because I want you to save mine. Call the number. Kirk: Because of my chronic illness, I’ve become something of an expert in pain management - what causes it, and what prevents it. Naturally occurring toxins, bacterial proteins, mutagens. I’m confident Mr. Kleeb can encourage you to answer some of my questions, Raymond. As I said, I have many. Now, let’s start at the beginning.
Kirk: I had proof that she was my daughter. A DNA test. Red: You saw what Katarina wanted you to see. She lied to you about everything. KGB trained her to seduce… foreign diplomats, intel - intelligence personnel - into - believ - revealing secrets. You always thought I was the interloper. The truth is that I was an assignment. I’m - I’m sure you were, too. Kirk: That’s a lie. Red: A cover then. You were wealthy and powerful. Gave her access. Kirk: All that matters is that we had a family, and you destroyed it. We had a daughter, and you took her from us. Why? Mr. Kleeb: If I dose him again, it could induce an Adrenergic storm. We could lose him. Kirk: Are you her father? Kirk: Are you her father? Answer me.
Kirk: Since we have a history together, I’ll give you the choice. Would you prefer to suffocate or to have a heart attack? Red: You’re not gonna kill me. Kirk: And why is that? Because that means I’ll die too? Red: Dying isn’t so bad. I did it once in Marrakesh. Kirk: Suffocation. You talk too much. Red: Perhaps I should listen more. Tell me about Katarina. Kirk: And why would I do that? Red: Because we both miss her. Because - after all these years - I have forgotten what she was - really like. Kirk: You remember what she did, and not who she was. Red: Remind me. Kirk: When - when we - when we first met, there was this house near where she lived, a case study house built by this famous mid-century architect. Over dinner one night, she said she wanted to look at it. I thought she meant look from the street. But when we got there, she jumped the fence. The lights were on. People lived there. She didn’t care. I stood there - frozen, angry, nervous. Then I felt - this rush of exhilaration. I climbed up, looked into the yard - and she was just - Red: Dancing. Kirk: Unafraid. Daring. Being. I’d never seen anything like it. She had - Red: A joy for living. Kirk: She was more alive than anyone I knew. When I heard she killed herself - I didn’t believe it. I still don’t. You’re wrong. I didn’t see what she wanted me to see of her, I saw her. And despite what happened, I know she loved me. Red: You don’t have to do this. Kirk: Raymond, there’s nothing in this world you can tell me to change my mind.
4x18 -
Kate: Your mother hired me to care for you. I promised her that I would defend you with my life. The reason I’m telling you this now is so that you’ll listen to me when I beg you - walk away. I gave the authorities enough to put him away forever. But you and your team must disavow any knowledge of the task force. Liz: So you served Reddington up on a silver platter to the FBI. You did that for me. Kate: Not you, Elizabeth. I’ve already failed you. I did it for Agnes. Liz: I can protect my own daughter just fine, thank you. Kate: Like you did today? What if I was one of Raymond’s enemies that would do anything to get at him? Please, do what your mother never had the courage to do until it was too late. Walk away from Raymond.
4x22 -
Kate: I’m sorry, Katarina.
Kate: I swore an oath to your mother I would protect you with my life. I fear I’ve failed you. Liz: What are you talking about? Kate: We’re at the end now, and I’m lost. Tired. I don’t know how to keep you safe. Liz: You don’t have to keep me safe. This could be over. It could stop. Kate: Masha, I can show you the truth. Liz: What truth? Kate: If you want to know why he came into your life - Liz: You’re scaring me. Kate: I can take you. We can go together. But it has to be your choice.
Liz: Kate, where are we going? Kate: I loved Raymond. And your mother. I loved her, too. Liz: This secret what Reddington’s hiding from me I think I know - Kate: Elizabeth, if you get out of the car, you choose Raymond. If you stay, you choose the truth.
Kate: I made a promise to Elizabeth’s mother to protect her girl at all costs. And I can’t do that from a cell - which is why I have a contingency plan. Isn’t that what you taught me, Raymond? Always make contingencies.
Liz: Mr. Kaplan was my nanny. Cooper: Somehow I’m not surprised. She loved you so much. Liz: And now she’s gone. Just like Sam. And my mom. Everyone who knew me best, knew the answers about who I was, where I came from.
Liz: What was it you said? A father who’s a career criminal and a mother who died of weakness and shame.
Dembe: Raymond, I’m not sure Elizabeth will ever be ready to learn about what you did to Katarina. Red: We gotta find that goddamn suitcase.
5x13 -
Dom: I wish I could help you. I can see that you’re a good person, kind - your eyes remind me of someone. Liz: You said you worked for Russian intelligence, so you knew operatives. Dom: Yes, but not Oleander. Liz: What about Katarina Rostova? Dom: Yes. Katarina. Yes, I knew Katarina quite well.
Dom: Her daughter? Masha? Of course. That’s who you remind me of. Ah, there’s such a strong resemblance. Liz: I never knew my mother. Dom: Ah, Katarina and I, we worked in the same building for a time. Ah, she was a legend already, even then. Everybody wanted to know her. Liz: And you were friends? Dom: I saw you with her once. She had to stop by the office for something urgent, and - and there you were, maybe 3 years old. Liz: Did you know Reddington? Dom: I don’t want to talk about Reddington. Liz: Why not? Dom: I just don’t. Liz: Do you think she’s dead? Katarina? I know they say she committed suicide, but there was a man, Anton Velov. He was a Colonel in the Spetsnaz. He said she might still be alive. Dom: I never heard from Katarina after she left for America. What really happened to her - I think there are some people who want to keep that information a secret. And I think they will do whatever is necessary even now to keep it that way.
6x1-
Liz: Our father, the real Raymond Reddington, cheated on your mother with mine - a Russian agent named Katarina Rostova. Jennifer: Our fake father’s a criminal, and our real one’s a snake. Liz: He took me from her in Russia. She followed him to America where we were staying. They got into a fight - a fire started - I got out, he didn’t.
Jennifer: So that’s why you were so sure about when he died. Because you shot him. Liz: They were fighting. My father and my mother. Screaming at each other. And others I think. He was hurting her. I saw the gun and I just wanted to make it stop. I’m so sorry. Jennifer: You were 4. You have nothing to be sorry about.
6x7 -
Red: You remind me so much of your mother. I don’t remember if I’ve ever told you that before, have I?
Liz: He said I reminded him of my mother. That’s what he said when I asked him why he gave us this case. Dembe: He’s right. You remind me of her too. Liz: You know everything. Don’t you? Everything about him. All the answers I’m looking for. Dembe: I do.
6x8 -
Marguerite: I never spoke to Mr. Reddington. Or the woman who arranged for him to have the procedure. Jennifer: A woman? What woman? Marguerite: Some Russian. I don’t know her name. Jennifer: Was it Katarina Rostova? Was that it? Was it Katarina Rostova who took Reddington to Dr. Koehler?
Jennifer: I talked to Marguerite Renard. She refused to say anything about Reddington, but she said there was a woman who arranged the surgery. Liz: What woman? Jennifer: A Russian. She wouldn’t confirm it. Liz: Katarina Rostova? She was there. My mother? Why was she there? That doesn’t - I don’t - I don’t und - Jennifer: I don’t know, but this - that woman, that nurse - She knew the name. I could see it in her eyes. Liz: That doesn’t make any sense. Why would my mother help some imposter - become Raymond Reddington? Jennifer: I don’t know. But Renard does. She knows more than she’s saying. You have to get her. And I can get us there.
Dembe: I acquired the package. Red: Did she say anything before you got there? To Jennifer? Dembe: Yes. That Katarina arranged the procedure. Nothing more. Red: That’s more than enough. You know what needs to be done. Dembe: There are alternatives. Red: There were before, not now. Not when she mentioned Katarina. Now Elizabeth will stop at nothing. Wherever we put Renard, she’ll be found, and she’ll talk. I’d do it myself if I could, but I can’t, and it must be done. Dembe: I understand.
6x9 -
Red: Agent Ressler. My goodness. After all these years, I feel as if we actually know each other. Ressler: I know the feeling. Red: Have you ever heard of Katarina Rostova? Ressler: Yes. She was a KGB officer. Red: Would it surprise you to learn that she and I had quite a complicated history? Sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll. Did I say “sex”? Sex. Ressler: Almost nothing you do surprises me. Red: How about that Katarina hid the fact that she was a KGB agent, stole the coordinates for the submarine U.S.S. Gideon, and passed them on to her superiors? That she, in fact, was responsible for the deaths of those brave young men? Sima: Objection. What surprises Agent Ressler is not relevant.
Red: You know what else is possible? That I was framed by Katarina Rostova, which I could prove if Your Honor would grant me even the shortest - Judge Wilkins: Alright, the court will stand in recess. During which time I will consider whether your willful disregard for my instruction suggests that while you are clearly competent to stand trial, you may be incompetent - to represent yourself.
Red: 35 years ago, a Naval intelligence officer working for the U.S. government fell -fell into a relationship with a beautiful Russian woman. Unbeknownst to his superiors, that relationship - which started as guarded attraction, quickly evolved into passion, which resulted in pregnancy. They had the child. A girl, whom they both loved. What the Naval officer didn’t know, but certainly should have suspected, was that the Russian woman was a KGB officer - that Katarina Rostova had been assigned to get close to Raymond Reddington and steal classified information from him. What Reddington could never have suspected, was that though she was a KGB agent, Rostova’s real handlers were members of a secret criminal organization, a multinational cabal working in the shadows to manipulate world governments, economic markets, trade, and international alliances. When Reddington discovered this, he confronted Rostova, who warned him that if he threatened to expose them, the Cabal would destroy his reputation, discrediting him so he could not discredit them. And that’s what happened. With the help of the Cabal, Rostova framed Reddington with the very evidence you’ve heard in this courtroom. To prevent him from protecting his country, she made it appear as if he had betrayed it. As a result, the Cabal remained in the shadows, Rostova disappeared, and Raymond Reddington became a completely different person. A man who has done many brutal, scary, illegal things. But not a single one ever that was treasonous.
Alan Fitch: They pulled me out of a meeting. This better be important. Katarina: Reddington knows. He knows everything. Fitch: Explain. Katarina: He’s discovered my identity. And the existence of the Cabal. Fitch: Can he be contained? Katarina: He took Masha. Fitch: Eliminate him. Katarina: He’s a decorated officer. His death would be investigated. Whatever they find, they will believe. But if we discredit him - The intelligence I stole - We leak that it came from him. No one will believe him after that. Not with the blood of 134 Americans on his hands. Fitch: Agent Rostova, I told you to eliminate him. Katarina: And I’m telling you there’s a better way. Fitch: Because you’re sleeping with him. Katarina: Because he has proof that the Cabal exists, proof that would be released in the event of his death. Fitch: The Fulcrum. Katarina: And because I love his daughter. My daughter. Fitch: I want this mess cleaned up. Get rid of him or ruin him. Just get it done by Christmas.
Red: Agent Ressler. Do you recognize the man’s voice on the audiotape? Ressler: Yes. It’s Alan Fitch. The former Director of National Intelligence. Red: And the woman? Agent Rostova? Ressler: It was Katarina Rostova, yes. Red: Why did you bring me this tape? Ressler: Because the government has a legal obligation under Brady v. Maryland to provide the defendant with any exculpatory evidence that can be used in the defense. Red: Thank you, Agent Ressler. And may I say you are both everything I dislike about the FBI and everything I admire about it? Nothing further, Your Honor.
Liz: Katarina Rostova gave that to you, didn’t she? She took Zachary from you. Minister D: You found the tape. Liz: You blackmailed the wrong person. Minister D: I thought I could use the tapes to punish people for what they’d done. Liz: To cash in on what they’d done. Minister D: To make a good living off the backs of bad people. Liz: You hurt a lot of people who deserved it. But you also hurt yourself. Minister D: No, I didn’t. Katarina Rostova did. Out of all the tapes, why ask me about this one? Liz: Because Katarina Rostova took someone away from me, too. Minister D: I’m sorry. Liz: So am I. Thanks to your tape - I think she just gave him back to me.
Liz: I don’t know how I can feel so relieved and so pissed off at the same time. Red: Don’t judge her too harshly. Liz: I don’t think I could judge her harshly enough. Whoever you are today, whatever you’ve become - It’s because of the lies she told. Red: She was between a rock and a hard place. Liz: That’s no excuse for framing someone for a crime they didn’t commit. Red: It’s easy to think that now. Back then - things were complicated. Liz: I grew up believing Raymond Reddington was a traitor. Red: Well, now you know the truth. Liz: I know a truth. Red: You know that your parents loved you very much. And that’s the only truth that matters.
Ressler: That must’ve been hard, hearing that tape today. Listening to your mother betray your father like that. Liz: To be honest with you, Ressler, this has all been hard. Ever since I met the imposter. But, yes, especially now, knowing that my mother helped this imposter steal my real father’s good name. Ressler: But why? I mean, before today, everyone thought Reddington was a traitor. The government, the press, and still, the imposter chose to take his identity. I mean, he went to a surgeon who could have given him the identity of anyone in the world. He could have been anyone. And yet he chose to be a pariah. He chose the life of a wanted fugitive. Why? Why would anyone do that?

Arrow Rewatch 2018: 2x10
Tumblr media
Quick Thoughts
- Oliver so annoyed that Felicity is not in the bunker
- Turns out Laurel was right to be investigating Blood
- Sad that Moira called Verdant a hobby for Oliver, she thought he was doing a good job last year when he opened it
- Dr. Simon Tam from Firefly has become a bomber
- Oliver saving people from a burning building - HERO
- Slade so full of rage
- Oliver hides his joy upon Felicity’s return REALLY WELL - poor Felicity has no idea how much he missed her. And Diggle just watches it all play out.
- So strange that it’s Laurel and not Oliver to suspect Blood
- Quentin notices the new mask!
- Poor Felicity getting slammed by Oliver because he’s jealous and misses her. LOVE that she stood up for herself! You go girl!! She knows she’s the best at what she does. Loved Diggle calling him out too.
- Blood is just stupid
- Love snippy Felicity especially while she helping to save Oliver’s life
- Have to say I’m surprised that Oliver told Felicity to head to the rally help Diggle - he sent her into danger...
- He shot Diggle!
- Oliver using an arrow to shoot a bomb out of the sky - AWESOME
- Even this bad guy of the week is better than Diaz
- Love how Oliver just severed the cord to stop all the bombs
- Totally creeped out by Maya - Blood’s mother, and Laurel just believes her!
- The Arrow making a deal with Blood - Oliver is not that stupid....
- No shirtless Oliver :(
Season 2 tally - 5/10 episodes with shirtless Oliver…just saying, I’m taking note. For reasons…

Arrow Rewatch 2018 - 2x10
— I swear, all of the action sequences in this show are SO well done.
— Whenever Oliver walks in a room, his eyes are searching for his girl.
— Someone misses his wife.
Tumblr media
— It’s like the passing of the torch. First Yao Fei had the Hood. Then Shado. Now Oliver.
— Oliver is carrying so much guilt about Shado.
— I thought Donner stopped working at the DA’s office since we haven’t seen him since the Count took him. Hah.
— Don’t endorse that crazy person, Oliver!
— “He did something completely out of character this morning. He showed up for work on time!” LOLOL.
— Well damn. That’s a big explosion.
— This looks like a scene from Chicago Fire! Except Oliver is not a firefighter. Haha.
— Whoa. Hello, superstrength!
— “We need you here.” Hubby needs his wifey always!
— First look at Oliver’s future campaign office!
— Blood, stop with the sob story. We all know you’re full of BS.
— “Right now, you’re the only thing that’s keeping me together.” Awwww. I love Theroy so much.
— IT IS SO OBVIOUS THAT IS OLIVER. I cannot and will not ever get over it.
— “Your blonde friend. She’s really good with computers.” That look on Oliver’s face. Love ittt.
— Oliver does not care one teeny bit about running through some red lights. Hahaha.
— Don’t get mad at wifey.
— “I’d like you to get your head out of Central City and get your head back in the game.” “Sure, as soon as you get yours out of your ass!” LOLOLOL.
Tumblr media
— My god, they are SO married.
— “I don’t think you had a problem with Felicity’s performance until she met Barry Allen.” DING DING DING! You are correct, Diggle. Jealous Oliver is in full swing.
— “He’s not exactly my boyfriend.” “Well digging things up on him wont be as much fun then.” Hahaha, Quentin.
— My question is, how does Oliver get in and out of places that quick?! As pointed out in 6x08, he does not have super speed. LOL.
— Oh jeez. Oliver. Be careful!
— The look on Felicity’s face when she finally hears his voice. So much relief.
— If anyone can disarm a bomb, it’s our girl!
— Moira, you see something about to come down and you just stop to stare at it? Run, girl!
— Roy doesn’t know what’s happening to him. Poor guy.
— This entire Olicity scene is in my top five favorites of all time!
— “I’m sorry.” “Are you talking to me or your quiver?” Snarky F.
— “I rely on you.” GAH.
— “You’re not my employee. You’re my partner.” MELT MY FREAKING HEART OKAY. I CANT.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— Oliver having to comfort Felicity about another guy is killing him inside. You can totally tell by his body language and the look on his face.
— The shoulder touch! Never gets old.
— Slade took the mirakuru. Oh boy.
— Maya is crazy pants. Of course Blood did that to her.
— “Sebastian is the devil!” Accurate.
— “Sebastian isn’t your nephew. He’s your son!”

compilation post of whichever bbc america employee who wrote the captain’s blogs being an ally and a hero via treating janto as more than just a sex joke, being genuinely warm and funny, and mentioning ianto super fondly in nearly every single entry (especially s2) because jack is in love with him despite what everyone else would have you believe. but i, a gay, know, and so does bbc america social media staffer circa 2007-2008.
some may call this “fringe canon.” i call it “some of the only specks of canon that respect the show’s canon gay relationship as the loving and affectionate relationship that it is.”
text pulled from ianto’s desktop, which is a fun read despite the defunct photobucket embeds - i only included captain’s blog stuff, but there’s a couple more janto tidbits in there. none as nice as these, though. under a cut because it is Long.
season 1
(one really cool thing the writer did for early season one is have jack note unexplained energy surges in the lower levels of the hub - handy foreshadowing for cyberwoman)
1x03 (ghost machine - alien tech leads to murder mystery):
Other issues: According to Ianto, Splott is pronounced "Sploe". I think Ianto may have been lying.
Upcoming issues: Energy surges in the lower areas of the hub still unexplained; there have been several more in the past week. Ianto volunteered to investigate, but has not discovered an explanation yet.
1x04 (cyberwoman - the episode where ianto’s secrets are revealed and we all have a Bad Time):
Other Staff issues: Ianto Jones temporarily suspended from active duty, to return at my discretion. His love for Lisa clouded his judgment, and he made some serious mistakes - but I have to wonder if I would have done the same thing in his situation. Ianto's personal needs and emotional state have been overlooked; I should not have missed something like this. During his suspension, I will try to spend more time with him. Hopefully we can establish a closer working relationship.
1x05 (small worlds - the one where the “fairies” abduct the little girl and jack has to let them, which makes everyone else very mad at him):
Staff: Ianto Jones' first week back after his suspension four weeks ago. I have tried to put him at ease, and have briefed the team to be as sympathetic as possible. Obviously there is a level of resentment remaining, but they are trying.
Other Staff issues: After what happened with Jasmine, nobody is talking to me (except Ianto). They'll come around. Everyone comes around.
1x06 (countrycide - the one with the cannibals and we all have a Bad Time):
Staff: Brought Ianto Jones along to get him out of the Hub, out of the city, get some relaxing time in the country with the team. May not have been the best decision I made this year.
1x07 (greeks bearing gifts - mindreading and predatory lesbian, the episode):
Other Staff issues: Ianto is still suffering, but putting on a brave face. Will try talking to him over dinner, outside the Hub, see if there's anything more I can do for him.
1x08 (they keep killing suzie - the episode that ends with ianto hitting on jack with a stopwatch):
Other Staff issues: Ianto and I stayed back to go over the case files and reorganize the safe. Internal security cameras were temporarily shut down to run diagnostic tests, so there was no monitoring of the Hub for approximately four hours - but there were no security breaches to report. Everything went very smoothly.
Upcoming issues: Need to requisition a new stopwatch. Old one damaged while moving a desk.
1x09 (random shoes - outsider pov, the episode):
Staff: Things seem to be calming down with everyone. Ianto is coping well; I'm pleased with his progress.
1x11 (combat - owen has manpain and fights weevils. whatever):
Other Staff issues: Ianto surprisingly proficient at the good cop/bad cop routine. Although obviously, he's the good cop. He's too cute to be the bad cop.
1x12 (captain jack harkness - jack and tosh are stuck back in time during the cardiff blitz and owen and ianto fight about what to do about it):
Other Staff issues: Ianto tried to stop Owen opening the Rift, and actually shot him in the shoulder. Everyone except Owen is finding this very amusing.
season 2
2x01 (kiss kiss bang bang - jack returns from his doctor who appearance, deals with his terrible ex spike from buffy, and asks ianto out on a proper date):
Other Staff issues: Gwen is now engaged. I'm happy for her, but I'm concerned about what it might mean - can she stay here, still keeping everything from Rhys? I worry that we're going to lose her. And I worry about Ianto. I think he took it harder than anyone when I ran off. It's going to take me a while to make things up to him. He is a decent, good man, and I'm lucky I met him.
2x02 (sleeper agent - the episode with sleeper agents):
Other security issues: Gwen taken hostage again. I’m beginning to think she’s jinxed. And why am I never taken hostage? I could be a good hostage. I never get any of that Stockholm Syndrome action. And according to Ianto, my bad cop routine needs some work.
Other Staff issues: I’m in trouble with Ianto for duct-taping a CB aerial to the SUV. Apparently the tape made the wing mirror “disconcertingly sticky”. Still, nothing a bit of warm, soapy water can’t fix.
2x03 (a man out of time - tosh’s cryo-boyfriend they unfreeze once every year. also, jack and ianto Have A Talk and then make out):
Other Staff issues: Ianto and I made some progress, talked things through. What happened with Tommy got to us all. I know it got to Gerald and Harriet, too, back then, considering what they went through to try and make up for it – but that’s another story for another day.
2x04 (meat - the episode with the whale and rhys finding out. some of the team gets taken hostage and ianto tazes a bad guy in the head and growls out “pray they survive.” or something and it’s VERY GOOD TELEVISION):
Staff: Ianto turned into a fighting, kicking, stun-gun machine, it was very exciting. I must get put in danger more often.
2x05 (adam - an alien infiltrates their memories and inserts himself into the team, and his plot is foiled by ianto reading his diary and finding inconsistencies because he’s Very Clever):
Other security issues: The only thing out of place was Ianto’s diary, which I found in my office. Naturally, I gave it back to him immediately after reading through it. Several interesting factual errors in there - and I thought he would know how to convert inches to centimetres. You think you know someone...
2x06 (reset - martha visits and owen ‘dies’):
Security: Must speak to Ianto about using names from ‘’Sex and the City’’ on fake IDs. Last week he sent me into an alien smuggling operation as ‘’Mr Big’’, without telling me. Wish I knew how he kept a straight face. I’d give him a stern talking-to, but I think he enjoys that too much.
(right after this is a very solemn paragraph about owen dying lmfao)
2x07 (dead man walking - jack resurrects owen and owen has manpain about it):
Other Staff issues: In big trouble with Ianto for risking everything to go and get the second glove. I should have told him before I went, but he’d probably have cuffed me to the chair to stop me. And I’ve fallen for that one way too many times.
2x08 (a day in the death - owen continues to have manpain):
Other Staff issues: Now that we have all tried, it is clear that only Ianto knows how to operate that damn coffee maker. I suspect it contains alien technology.
2x09 (something borrowed - gwen gets married, but not before playing host to shapeshifting pregnancy alien):
Security: ... Female Nostrovite proved to be extremely resilient to bullets, so I had to get my massive weapon out and take care of business. Ianto is still quietly chuckling about that now, days later. Gwen’s mother taken hostage. Must run in the family.
2x10 (from out of the rain - the terribly written ianto-’centric’ episode about circus film reel ghosts):
Alien activity: ... We only managed to save one of them, but that’s better than nothing. Sometimes in this job, one is enough. I can still see the faces of the people we lost - they weren’t part of this, they were just living their lives, until they were taken. Ianto took it badly, this one really got to him.
Staff: Have convinced Ianto to take me to a normal cinema, to see an actual movie. He’s also curious to know if I still have my old circus outfit. If I can find it, I think a private show is in order.
2x11 (adrift - gwen pursues a mystery about the people the rift takes and then puts back traumatized, even though jack resists. ianto is the one who gives her the info she needs. she also walks in on them naked in the greenhouse. wild):
Staff: Gwen would never have found the facility if Ianto hadn’t helped her. He was wrong to do that. But, of course, he was actually right in the end. There’s no way Gwen would have let it go. I should have trusted her with the information, but I knew what it would do to her. Sometimes, the only way to realise that you shouldn’t look behind that door is to actually go and look. Gwen learned that. Nikki learned that. We all did.
Other Staff issues: Seeing Gwen experience it for the first time took me right back to when I first heard that terrible scream. After Gwen had gone home, I just held on to Ianto for a couple of hours, as tightly as I could.
2x12 (fragments - a bomb explodes and everyone gets a flashback to how they joined torchwood 3 as jack and gwen rescue them from the rubble):
Staff: Everyone came out of the explosion pretty beaten up, but no major damage. We got lucky. And so did John. Because if he’d killed anyone - if he had hurt Ianto - I would have slowly ripped him limb from limb.
Other Staff issues: Although I have to say, Ianto does look good all messed up and dirty.
2x13 (exit wounds - jack’s brother comes back and blows up half of cardiff and kills owen and tosh):
Other Staff issues: The one glimmer of hope in all this? I still have Ianto and Gwen. Whatever the future throws at us, whatever madness the Rift vomits out next, whatever we have to face - Torchwood will be ready.
Capt. Jack Harkness.
Ianto, I know you’re reading this over my shoulder, pretending to fix that damn shelf. So get over here and take me out somewhere.

Supernatural Rewatch 2x10
(queued 2021/02/09)
Oh shiiiitt are hunters after the kids??? (telepath kids)
What a bomb to drop (Dean telling Sam that their dad told him he might have to kill Sam)
Dean is so scared omg
Sammy noooo don't leave
OMG (Sam explodes)
Oh Eva!! That vision though omg
That was graphic, just Sam blowing up
Oh jeeze supermassive black hole is playing in the road house (did not expect that)
I wonder how long ago Sam left. I'm guessing it's around a week cause TV show time
I feel like they made Ellen do too much of a 180 on her opinion of the boys. Like don't get me wrong I'm happy she still loves them, it's just a weird whiplash
@adhdeancas:  ellen ash jo and the roadhouse deserved so much more screentime and development in general
God yes
Ashhh
Awww Eva she's so sweet
Oh good Ellen told Dean
@adhdeancas: a little bit of a snitch
FUCKING GORDON
Are you SERIOUS
Fuck that guy
Oh fuck oh fuck
Code words (Dean got taken)
God what if Eva had stayed with them
@adhdeancas: I kinda loved her arc though
I know she's fascinating
God this episode just circles back around to "monster vs humanity vs what is human"
Gordon saying that he's not a killer, but a hunter. And that Sam is fair game
It's like where's the line
My GOD and they don't ever resolve this issue I'm... *chews glass*
And Gordon killed a girl cause he decided to torture a demon like WHAT
God and it's through the road house that he found out Dean must be so mad
Lol wow Gordon uses the If you had young hitler and you knew what he was gonna do later you'd kill him instantly right?
Jesus
Fuck OFF Gordon "now your Dad, if it really came down to it, he would have had the stones to do the right thing here. Are you telling me, you're not the man he is?"
Ya no he's NOT , he's so much more and so much better so GET FUCKED
Fuck dean omg (like his whole reaction while he thought Sam was dead, I couldn’t take notes, I was crying and shaking. His heart must have just stopped. His whole world just blown to bits. I’m making myself cry again)
"shouldn't take off your shoes around here, might get tetanus" Fuck but that hits differently NOW does it
---.---
@adhdeancas:NOOOO
Yap
God Dean must have went on a roller coaster of emotions there
Lolol Sam called the cops on Gordon wowow
Wits vs violence
IS THAT AN ANGEL BLADE??? (we determined it was not, but damn)
Tumblr media
If it isn't that's Damn close
@adhdeancas: Nah can’t… Can’t be
Dude. Wtf is it then. How the fuck
"angels don't exist" hunters say. "There's demons but never saw an angel" they say
Yet GORDON HERE
Has an angel blade. Or angel blade adjacent
Tumblr media
Ok so not quite an angel blade. But come on
It looks like one of those illegal by Geneva convention triple edge blade
But come on. I'm not over it. My brain just automatically associated with angel blade
Lolol "Dude if you ever take off like that again..." Trails off, Sam chuckles "What? You'll kill me?" Dean is unimpressed "that is so not funny"
@adhdeancas: god they were so funny
Sam "I'm not gonna ditch the job" Dean "screw the job. I'm sick of it anyway. We don't get paid, we don't get thanked, only thing we get is bad luck."
Season FUCKING TWO
@adhdeancas: i tell you. i will punch kripke on site
I cannot
Like notice it's only since their dad died? That he sees something more?
BAHAHA Sam "Dean, you're a hunter. It's what you were meant to do" Dean "I wasn't meant to do anything, I don't believe in that Destiny crap." Like holy FUCK
Team free will ground zero
It's SO funny considering the are literally bred for destiny
@adhdeancas: DOESN'T BELIEVE IN DESTINY
RIGHT???
@adhdeancas: ironic considered he fulfilled his own prophecy of dying on a random hunt
FUCK YOU
Omg
How very dare
Annndd they find out about Eva disappearing

buck is cleared for duty but later that night he collapses due to a blood clot in his lung aggravating his old wounds(scar tissue in his leg and lungs)
hes rushed to the hospital and treated.
When he wakes he is told that the blood clot was due to the screws in his leg most likely
buck stays under observation for three days and is told he can go back to work.
Bobby tells him that he cant be cleared due to the clots.
Buck is upset as he is put on light duty and then transferred to the
then athena trys to help and invites buck to dinner buck points out that his new test cleared him for duty and asks when he can come back to work.
Bobby tells him that he isnt coming back since bobby cant be sure that buck is serious about his job
buck is hurt and leaves
buck is extreamly upset and gos to a bar to get drunk.
At the bar he airs hi work issues to jason a cop who begins talking about his hard case
the cop is trying to take down a lawyer who was abuseing his clients
buck offers to help
between the two it is decided that theyll meet early the next day
the next day jason buck and the station chief meet
it is decided that buck will file a fake lawsuit  and record everything the lawyer does {he uses dirtycops for info on those that his clients are sueing and once he wins a case he attacks the cleint and forces them to hand over ther money}
buck finds out that the man works with [OWENSWIFE] and points out that he be able to get her involved
[owenswife] is brought in and agrees to help placing devices around their offices
buck files
the 118 freaks
two months later they have enough evidence to take the lawyer down so buck ‘drops’ the case and the chief gives him his job back
buck comes into the station and the 188 is frosty to him
he plays nice since he gets it, he hurt them
that night he gos home to his apartment and downs a glass of tea not knowing that it was drugged by ,,,,,,,,,, who takes the opurtunity to attack buck when he cant fight back
the next day buck is late because he went to the er and got a kit done and gave a statement
bobby reams him and puts him on scut work
the team ets called out and eddie hangs back to ‘supervise’ buck (he noticed something is wrong with him)
buck feeling dizzy heads to clean the showers
eddie finds him ten minutes later passed out and burning up
eddie rushes him to the hospital where its found that he was having an alergic reaction to the drug ,,,,,,,,,,, gave him.
Eddie stays with him ad asks what the hell is going on
buck tells him that he cant tell him everything but that his exlawer had attacked him for dropping the case and turning down the 6mil dollor settlement and that he drugged him.
Eddie though still mad about the lawsuit is pissed and takes buck home.
Bobby calls upset that they left early
eddie tells bobby that something happened that he cant disclose but that hes handling it and expects bobby to trust him in this.
Bobby is worried but agrees to it and gives them both the week off
eddie gos back inside and finds buck asleep on the couch haed in chriss lap as the boy pets his hair.
Eddie puts buck in the bed in the spare room and tucks chris into his own bed.
The next day eddie keeps trying to help buck
buck pulls him to the side and asks him to not make a big deal out of things / that he just wanted to forget about the incident.
Eddie agrees but cant help himself so buck makes him go back to work
that day jason stops by bucks apartment and tells buck that,,,,,,,,,, was arested and is not an issue for him any longer since he pled out to get a lesser sentence
{owens wife} sues the lawyer for the money he had stolen frome her firm and its granted
she puts it all into and account for buck. She shows up to bucks apartment and meets chris (buck introduces her as his mi’ada)
she ends up cooking for them both
eddie comes by and also ends up eating
when buck is teaching chris about the meal [owens wif] made she pulls eddie to the side and makes him swear to take care of her son before heading to her house
buck heads to bed while eddie takes chris home
four months after the case was dropped buck is on a different shift then eddie
buck is off that day while eddie works so buck takes chris to see a movie but finds that its sold out
chris is upset so buck takes chris down to the peir to cheer him up
the tsunami hits
buck looses his grip on chris in the first wave but gets him back and keeps him safe
chris falls in the water and dissapears
buck spends the rest of the day looking for him
at 8:30 hes dragged to the va hospital by a concerned civilian
the docs try to get him treated but he sneaks out grabs a radio from an abandoned fire truck and heads back out
he finds chris at 11:30  pretty briused and tired but not scared
“HIS BUCK WAS COMING”
buck is astonished to see that chris is holding a 3 year old old baby
buck dosnt want to risk the children be moving them so he settles for checking them over while routenly calling out over the radio for help
he checks chris over first
he has bruises all over and his right knee is dislocated
buck realligns the knee and wraps it in his over shirt
then he checks the baby over only to go deadly still
the baby a girl is his baby nadia right down to the hetrochromia she got from nathen
the baby is unharmed
buck asks  chris how he found the baby
chris found her alone floating in a carseat
he took her out of the carseat cause “babies arnt supposec to sleep in carseats carla said it was bad for them”
buck finally geta station on the line not the 118 but itll do
he gets them to drop him at eddies abuales as she can get chris help
pepa takes chris buck abula and nadia to the hospital and while she sees to chris buck walks two blocks to the 118s house and grabs nadias paper work from his locker(kept there for safe keeping) then he returns and cheks nadia in
both kids are released that night and buck takes everyone to his apartment
(peppa dosnt want to be alone scared of looters)
finaly buck get eddie on the phone and tells him everything leaving out nadia
the 118 is still working but will be off soon
buck calls judd and is surprised to  find out that hes in cali with grace visiting graces father
judds there withen an hour and is estatic over nadia being alive and to happy to question it
but buck is concerned but decides to ignore it
after everyone catches a nap 2:00am to 6:00am buck gets everyon (peppa abuela chris nadia judd and grace to the station)
while abuela and grace occupy chris and keep an ey on nadia
judd peppa and buck cook tons of food that  judd delivers to nearby hospitals
michael shows up with karen denny harry and may in tow
harry denny and karen join abuelas group
while micheal joins judd and may joins buck
the 118 gets back at 9:00am and are stuned at how buck is handleing things
buck meets them at the door and insists that they shower and clean up before they go up since the kids are up therewhile they shower buck gives them a rundown of chriss health which freaks out eddie but buck points out that the boy is fine and is siting with eddies abuela and is practically crowing about finding nadia
eddie asks who nadia is and buck tells them that shes his daughter and that hes been looking for her for THREE years and SOMEHOW chris found her in the midst of a damn tsunami
hen makes a joke about his luck and eddie asks if shes ok
“yeah chris kept her safe and sound” buck then points out that peppa and abuela came to the station cause they were worried about looters but that chris is bribeing her with baby time and jokes that {buck}he’ll have to share his daughter to avoid causing drama
which makes everyone laugh

Is it just me or has Clarke lost a lot of the relationships she had with the delinquents? Her and Jasper's relationship completely dissolved even after he stopped being angry. Her and monty have barely interacted in the past 2 season. Her and Octavia have been done for a while. Like I feel Bellamy is the only delinquent that she has a relationship with anymore. Hopefully, next ep we will see some more of her and raven's relationship. But it just makes me sad bc Clarke has almost all her friends.
No, it’s not just you and I think there’s a reason for this that plays into Clarke’s overall Character/Story arc. Again, y’all come and ask questions not expecting meta and then it just....springs out of my head because you guys just say the absolute right things.
What you said made me realize that...Clarke has been alone since Season 2. Like, we talk constantly about Clarke and Bellamy being co-leaders and discuss why that’s so frustrating, but we’re thinking as the audience, which means we haven’t taken the time to put ourselves in Clarke’s shoes.
Although we know that Clarke can always depend on Bellamy to make the big decisions with her, and that he in fact has always been there for the “lever pulling moment” (even in S3, the script tells us Clarke finds strength in the memory of Bellamy helping her pull the lever in S2), but for most of every Season, Clarke has been isolated from her strongest support system: her people (and specifically-Abby and Bellamy).
Most people, when they discuss Clarke, say things like “I really miss Season 1 Clarke!” and “When will Clarke get back to her Season 1 self?” And I’ve seen people say “She’s not that girl anymore because of all of the things she’s had to do!” but the key difference between Season 1 Clarke and Season 2-4 Clarke is that she didn’t have her co-leader by her side.
See evidence:
Clarke and Bellamy interact in a leadership based capacity in every single episode of Season 1, with no exceptions (they also have their friendship building moments). Clarke also has the benefit of being surrounded by the Core Four in this season (Raven and Octavia also play key integral roles in this Season). Clarke is noticeably not bearing the majority of the burden, and so even as she makes heavy decisions, someone else made the decision with her (even closing the Dropship on Bellamy wasn’t a decision she made by herself, Miller was the one who told her they didn’t have time and that they had to close the door now.).
Let me be clear and say that this in no way means that Clarke is more likable when she is with a man. I’m saying that Clarke is less burdened in Season 1, more open and she shares that burden more equally with those in her Core support system.
Season 1 ends with Clarke isolate from others and Season 2 picks up the same way, Clarke alone, in a white sterile room. And this should have been the first sign of what was waiting for us in regards to Clarke’s journey. Even as she is surrounded by the 47 in Mt. Weather, Clarke obviously holds herself (and her plans to escape) away from them. When she escapes, she doesn’t escape with one of her people, she escapes with Anya, a Grounder leader (clever bit of foreshadowing there). She is reunited with her mother and Bellamy for only 4 episodes before she agrees with Bellamy’s plan to go into the Mountain. As soon as she takes L/xa’s advice “Love is weakness.”, Clarke’s separation from her support system becomes even more obvious:
She and L/xa literally spend 2x10 away from their people being chased by a giant gorilla.
In 2x11 Clarke actually takes control away from her mother (”You may be the Chancellor, but I’m in charge.”) and in doing so she pushes away one of her strongest supports (Abby) while her other (Bellamy) is in the mountain. Raven (the third part of the Core Four) is still furious with her over Finn’s death, and Octavia (4/4 of the Core Four) is too concerned with Bellamy and Lincoln’s absence to be much help.
In 2x12, Clarke and L/xa abandon their people to a bomb, an act which leaves Abby horrified by her daughter and Clarke even more alone on this leadership journey than she’s been before (save L/xa), because Raven is at Camp Jaha and Octavia is in TonD.C.
In 2x13, Clarke is still only partnered with L/xa, a solitary leader.
In 2x14, Clarke is still partnered with L/xa, a solitary leader.
In 2x15, Clarke and L/xa attempt to open the doors, but ultimately fail (which is a large bit of foreshadowing).
In 2x16, Clarke is back with a team (Bellamy and Monty) and they succeed at taking down the Mountain but Clarke leaves on a solitary journey.
Everything about Season 2 tells us that Clarke does better, is successful, when she is operating as part of a team, not a solitary leader.
In Season 3, we open with Clarke again, separated from her people, and she remains that way until the very last seconds of episode 3x10 (almost the entire Season), even when she is back with her people for brief moments, she’s still rejecting the idea that she can, and indeed needs, to lead with others. Again, it’s not until the finale of Season 3 where Clarke stops trying to make decisions and lead by herself, that she finally succeeds and is able to defeat A.L.I.E.
We’re seeing it again in Season 4, Clarke is isolated, even as she is surrounded by her support system, because she has not released the lessons she learned from L/xa (primarily) and Dante (only a bit).
L/xa, as a divinely appointed leader, was raised to understand that the final say is and always should be hers. She was raised to believe that she did not need to depend on others, and that, as a function of her position, all others were subject to her wishes.
Dante, as president, is also someone who doesn’t seem to have a group of people that he reports to, or who hold him accountable.
Ironically, both faced similar fates (their people turned on them, both killed by a gunshot).
We actually see a bit of this happen for Clarke in Season 4 (when Monty reads the list and I suspect we’ll see it again in 4x11), because Clarke is not allowing others to lead with her, her people are turning against her.
Clarke has not yet accepted that she is not a person who is capable of being a solitary leader (Bellamy actually played on this in 4x11, when he pointed out all the times “they” saved everyone). Clarke wants to save everyone (her mother calls her on this in the pilot episode) and in her mind, part of saving everyone is also protecting them (at least she thinks she is) from making the life or death decisions.
But Clarke hasn’t come to terms with the fact that she’s never truly made a life or death decision by herself, she’s never done any of her biggest saves by herself, and every time she tries to lead alone, she fails. Clarke is a leader who NEEDS others.
And I am so hopeful that we will finally see the culmination of what has been a 3 Season long, achingly painful arc.
Good Character Growth is not linear, and sometimes it takes Seasons before it reaches the end.

Into the badlands 2x10 thoughts now that the anger has gone away... a little.
Starting off with Odessa. I hope she doesn't backstab Mk again. If her and Tilda get together I'm fine with that but she should try to understand Tilda and Mk's friendship. Tilda has forgiven Mk because she understands he couldn't control it. More than fear I think Odessa is blinded by jealousy. Probably thinking Tilda will be snatched away by MK but he already let her go when she stated she found a new "Friend".
The widow. You did not want a world of barons so why are you offering waldo the position of one. How would he teach someone to be free? It comes off as if you are just controlling them. And also she should at least hear Bajie out. I figure he would tell her the truth about what happened when he couldn't find her. If he didn't care about her he would still have his gift.
That Quinn and Lydia moment. That made me love Lydia because she's over him now. She was ready to tell his men the truth. Even though it was a failed attempt she had guts. She looked the man she once loved in the eye and literally told him she cant wait to see him die by Sunny's sword.
Declan was the closest to Quinn so why were they showing some other guy at some point and made Declan return the last episode to be killed?
The first bomb scene was okay but why didn't they pull out Sunny's body right away? That part I don't understand.
I loved how Waldo helped Tilda. He's just unconsciously becoming a father figure to these regents.
I loved the fight scenes with Sunny and Bajie. It was hard core and interesting. Too bad Bajie got injured.
Now....This part. The ending.
After all those stabs Quinn didn't die how? Im not leaving Sunny out he got hurt too. His clothes are leather right so I guess the arrows wouldn't go in so deep but he did get cut by Quinns sword. Quinn got these deep stabs about twice I think and then thrown off from somewhere. He should be dead. And for them to not hear him wasn't he groaning?
With Quinn I think the writers underestimated how fans would like his character and at some point gave up on the tumor plot. He had until winter to live. Im quite sure that's why the theme is snow all over the place. Those two things not being connected in season two show they wanted to give up on the tumor plot. Probably figured they just needed to mention the tumor a little and people wont worry about it. That's crap.
Also with this ending after Lydia told Quinn she would be there when he dies in an earlier episode I was expecting for her to show up at the last moment. Her dying with Quinn made more sense because she was saying all along she'd be there. Then when its over she can be with her son because she has nowhere else to go.
This Veil destiny thing the writer stated I don't acknowledge. If Veil had died in some other situation I would accept it but she just died after all that torture? From one stab? While others walking around like they from hancock. We saw her being ordered, crying. forced into bed, taken away from her son, be threatened and her killing Quinn to only die after all that is her destiny. She deserved a better death. Not saying they had to make her live to season 4 or 7 but after all that crap really? You made her a damsel. Her character did not grow. And you killed the best doctor in the badlands.
Bajie needs to be more honest with everyone. He's probably a good guy but he has too many secrets.
The writers better come out and say "Ha we trolled you. That's an alternate ending."
The guys came for martial arts. Girls came for the ship, martial arts and everything else. To kill off what we loved. If views drop seriously I am not defending this show.
I will watch this show for Henry, Sunny and their crew but not as excited as I was before this. It will take time. If they bring in another love interest, looking at Daniel Wu wouldn't make me watch this show. Not worth it.
I'll watch season 3 but not with the same excitement I had in season 1 and 2.
