Any opinions on Bombacass? I think it's underrated!

It is!! When I first got into cats and saw the part of the ball when Bombalurina takes over I remember literally thinking, "she and that brown cat are lesbians". I honestly don't think I ship ship anyone other than Cassandra with Bombalurina. Like I understand Demelurina and Tuggerlurina but like Cassandra is right there!

They're both badass lesbians and they fit together like puzzle pieces.

I like bombacass! It’s one of those that you really can’t go wrong with.

The only thing is they’re pretty independent of each other story-wise, so any onstage interaction is most likely actor improv. This doesn’t make it less nice, I just feel like there’s less you can do with anything narrative between them.

They’ve got that vibe of “you’re out of my league” “no, you’re out of my league!”

alonzo going into demeter's room at macavity's lair in the dead of night, sitting with her as he bandages the wounds macavity gave her with so much gentleness that it makes them both cry

the first time demeter holds his paw when they're in the junkyard, showing their affection off in the company of other cats, and just feeling so safe and warm with each other and their family

I don't necessarily ship it but I totally see the appeal and understand why people would ship them. They are both gorgeous Queens and there's definitely chemistry there, and I think with Tugger the three could have a super hot poly trio going on.

Cassandra and Alonzo, but yeah they're besties!!

My OTP for them 

Bombacass/cassalurina listen they're just neat, ok? also I have this one hc that when Bomba pushes cass out of the way from dancing with Tugger is cause she was like super jealous. not of cass but of tugger, like "yeah enough fun for you"

also I hc they're pretty competitive with eachother too, but it's mainly instigated by bomba fur fun and Cass is happy to play along.

My second choice pairing for them 

Cassmeter!!! especially in 2019 cats but I also ship them in stage verse. like cass usually being very relaxed and reserved I think could really compliment Demeter's skittish and cautious nature.

My fluffy pairing for them

Cassoffelees, she needs her short magician bf who's always trying to impress her, and you know they can enjoy each other's peace. magician and assistant mwa mwa.

My angsty pairing for them 

I don't really think I have one? but I think there's some angst potential with any Demeter pairing since they all involve her learning to love again after Macavity. So, I suppose cassmeter again.

Was looking at my 'Cats moments that I want to gif in the future' list at the same time I was thinking about my 'Cats fics I want to write in the future' list (parkour, babey) and I realized that I didn't have any bombacass moments jotted down amongst the other Background Moments I have listed.

And then I realized I don't think I've ever even really noticed them interact at all in the productions I've seen?

And then I realized that i don't think I've seen anyone gif any bombacass moments either?

Like. they must have interacted before, right? In at least some production?
