First of all, thank you so much for the response to the first post of this

And special thanks to @drachenfalter and @sepublic for the help

Here is the edited map.

I marked locations from the responses I got, corrected the Bonesborough’s location and added Looking Glass Ruins in the Forearm Forest.

Snowy Ribcage was mentioned also but I would assume that’s a larger area rather than a single location, so I didn’t mark it.

However I want to make a new more detailed and accurate map so Snowy ribcage will be included there.(We’ll see tho)

I now plan to rewatch the whole show, take more screenshots and try to find the location of more places.

As we advance further & further into the Reconstruction Era of the Boiling Isles, there is one important thing we must also reconstruct along with our everyday lives - our history.

50 years of Emperor Belos’ reign has come to an end along with the Coven System, through those 50 years we have seen an unfortunate cutback of funding for historians, schooling, and other educational opportunities & institutions. Not only have we seen heavy budget restricts throughout these 5 decades, but heavy restrictions on knowledge in general.

Using one of the most simplest ways to convey information quickly, we wish to provide insight of the lost history, culture, & magic of the Boiling Isles.

Now, 50 years doesn’t sound like much but do not be fooled, dear reader. For the damage done goes back further than Emperor Belos’ reign - centuries possibly. Therefore, we have a lot of work on our hands!

Join us readers, and you will see our progress in restoring forgotten history as we bring it back to the people. From analysis, theories, artifacts & more - the Boiling Isles Historical Restoration Movement awaits you!

Fear not, reader! We have plenty to offer! While our main focus is on the Boiling Isles Historical Restoration Movement (BIHRM), we’re also looking forward to the future of the Isles!

The efforts of rebuilding the Isles has gone at a steady pace, even better than expected since we started 4 years ago! An impressive feat, we will be doing monthly interviews with the many, many people at the centre of the Reconstruction Era! Getting a glimpse into what they think & plan, and the current progress of providing a Boiling Isles that will be free and safe for all!

Our team of young journalists known as the Bonesborough Library Junior Journalist Division go all over the Isles covering stories & topics important to today’s readers! They provide us with little snippets of local news and are always looking for more members!

Interested in learning more magic? With the abolishment of the Coven System, we have entered a new age of magic! Affectionately called, “The Free Period,” now is our time to relearn magic & experiment! We know some readers may be afraid of this new change, but fear not! We are working to educate and stop the stigma of covenless & wild magic alike! The times are changing, are you willing to change?

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Suzie Mirage. I’m the new principal at Hexside School of Magic & Demonics where I originally taught illusions! Headcanon that the Boiling Isles is decently hotter than the human realm. The boiling rain and boiling sea aid this. Witches and Demons have adapted to the heat and don’t get dangerously hot until the temp reaches the hundreds. However, Luz realizes that temp is usually hotter when she notices she is sweating all the time. Temp hc for places:

- Bonesborough is in the upper eighties depending on the day. At night, it goes in the low eighties.

-Latissa is in the mid nineties during the day and mid eighties at night.

-The Swamp Toes are in the low hundreds during the day and mid nineties at night.

-Palm Stings are in the mid hundreds.

-The Knee is an exception where the temperature is always very cold / freezing.

The collector not knowing that other creatures need to be fed and sleep to work so the game of owl hose has been goin on for 3 days he's still fine but Luz and King are starving and sore and begging their body's not to give up on them.

I have three people asking to hear more about this au so here y'all go

Luz and King are pretty smart kids, so they manage to sneak in 'tea parties' sort of things so they can actually Eat, but sleep is a whole other matter they gotta account for. eventually they decided on taking shifts, one being 'set aside' while the other played with the Collector. sometimes the Collector just Wouldn't Let Them so they'd have to ride it out until they could pass out. Luz spun it as a sort of thing where characters used up all their abilities and needed a 'cooldown' time.

the Collector is still super grumpy about it but King's somewhat managed to nudge them to focus some playtime on the other residents of Bonesborough rather than the two of them, which Luz feels really guilty abt and King has to keep bapping her like "we can't help them if we are DYING FROM DEPRIVATION"

and, yeah, the Collector doesn't take kindly to their new friends being yoinked away. Eda risked it all really early on in the beginning to nab her kids back and almost got pancaked and rolled into a pincushion. it certainly didn't help she was still struggling with the recent loss of an Entire Arm. King is currently in the midst of negotiations with the Collector to see if he can convince them to make Eda a new arm. its not going well

(Head?)canon that Bonesborough, Latissa and other big cities/towns on the Boiling Isles still have well-maintained city walls, like most towns used to have in the olden times.

Of course there weren't any active wars while Belos was in charge, but those walls are still useful to keep out dangerous beasts, so they stick around.
