Being a Dany stan is trying to explain over and over again why a child bride who was forced to marry a warlord does not deserve to have her baby murdered for the sins of her husband or because of a prophecy.
For a fandom that loves to scream about how characters who try to act for or against prophecy are always destined to fail and are bad people, they sure do love to justify the prophecy-driven murder of an innocent, unborn child because they hate his teenaged mother for being apart of a system she was forced into.

Recluse Owner, Bookshelf Gremlin, and the Cute Cafe Guy
A new bookstore/cafe opens, almost overnight, in Gotham.
They say it can find very rare books, heck maybe even books lost to time, unfinished manuscripts, rare writings from famous writers, etc etc.
As long as you respect the books within you won't have a problem with the recluse and introvert owner GW.
As for the cafe side, you can always count on friendly Danny to help you out, either it be an order from his cafe or to finding a book if GW isn't around. (Though beware of the younger, sometime around Dani (with an I) is working, she's a bit of a troll compared to her brother)
Jason totally is checking the place out... You know cause its totally giving weird vibes (good weird vibes, almost like its calming the raging Pits) and not just because it has a first edition Jane Austin (that the owner is totally maybe thinking of selling to Jason cause he can sense this man would treat it with respect)... Or that the tea is calming as heck.... Or watching Dani ("I like you. You can totally call me Ellie!") chaotically troll everyone around her.... Or that her older brother is fucking cute as hell... Who he may or may not had watched accidentally kill the Joker when the guy had been closing up the shop alone one night and had been caught in the alleyway on his way home...
No its totally cause this place is... off. Nothing else.

12.08.2023 prompt - Love Among the Shelves
Barbara was at the children's section's front desk when he approached.
It was her day shift, but every instinct she developed during her over-a-decade time as a vigilant, screamed inside of her that this man was DANGEROUS.
"Excuse me, sir!" She called him, as she took a quick look at the population.
(fifteen children, ten mothers, and a teen- probably a babysitter, or an older sister).
"How can I help you?" She asked as he stood in front of her, almost 2 ft over her. She quietly unlocked her wheels, and reach for the emergency taser.
"I want to get a library card." He says.
"This is the children section, mr...?"
"Dan. Just Dan. And that not for me, that's for the hellion". He gesture to his left, only seem to notice no one's there.
"ELLIE!"
"Sheesh, Old Mold." A kid show up. "No leed to yell. MY ears are still new and working."
"You can't just disappear without telling anyone!"
"What, am I in prison now? Oh, wait, I'm not the one who's been locked up!"
"You little hazard. What did we say about telling OUTSIDERS private information?"
"Do it for fun and profit?-"
And the man just grab by the back of her hoodie, and pick her up in one hand.
"That's the Hellion. She needs a library card."
The kid move a little, trying to escape, before giving up and just looking at Barbara.
"Hi! I'm Ellie - WOW ARE YOU JAZZ'S CLONE?".
-OR-
After learning that Danielle just travel around the world on her own, Dan's core re-develope his old obsession.
(protect her)
They travel across the world as Dan& Ellie - father and daughter.
Ellie wants to go to Gotham, (They have WEIRD THINGS) and they try getting a life there.
On an attempt to get something like normal (halfa?) life, Dan take Ellie to get her first library card.
Enter Barbara Gordon, a librarian extraordinary by day, and a vigilant named "Oracle" by night.
Somehow, she keep meeting that single dad (ex-prisoner) and his daughter.
(she CAN'T be introduced to Damian. The world may not survive it).
Or: I started thinking Dan/Barbara and now I can't unsee it.
Tag some I think would like this:

DPxDC prompt
Team Phantom all have an inside joke where they refer to Dani as Danny’s daughter, while also calling Vlad an absentee mother who doesn’t pay child support.
Eventually Danny’s at the Justice league space station and hears some of the senior members talking about how the current Robin has attempted to stab a multiple people.
Danny curiously asks them about Robin and eventually they tell him he’s 11 and he just accidentally blurts out that his daughter’s around robins age.
The league members, stare at “eternally a teenager” Danny and go through mini existential crisis about the member that looks like a child having a child of their own. One of them asks if his daughter’s adopted and Danny says that she’s biologically his.
They ask about her mother or other parent and he says that if his daughters “mother” paid child support then he could have a say in things.
Eventually the conversation gets to Batman’s ears and he corners Phantom, not for learning sensitive information about Robin, but for parenting tips.
Now Danny’s giving Batman advice on how to treat/care for a surprise ex-assassin child with an absentee criminal “mother” who obsesses over their child’s father.

i do not like the dany and rhaenyra stans that hate on sansa and alicent for "bowing down to the patriarchy" and "not stopping their oppression". dany goes through a traumatic marriage at thirteen in which she is regularly raped to the point of contemplating suicide. she forces herself to love her husband and make him love her to spare herself more abuse. she then gets pregnant with his child and goes through a horrific birthing and loses her baby at only fourteen. this whole situation is very, very common for women in their society. the only difference is that daenerys gains three dragons at the end. they empower her and help her move forward to claim her 'birthright'. let's looks at sansa in comparison. she is sold off as a child bride at twelve years old. her betrothed arranges for her to be publicly stripped and beaten. she is then married to the son of the man that killed her brother. her new husband sexually assaults her on her wedding night, but does not rape her. pretty much every man that she encounters tries to sexually harass and assault her. she escapes her marriage and is now being groomed by her mothers childhood friend. she knows that his feelings and actions towards her are wrong, but he's all she has. sansa has to use "a womans courtesy and grace" to get herself out of potentially harmful situations. we also see this with dany's 'seduction' of drogo. the only difference is that sansa is never given dragons to protect herself like daenerys is. she still has to rely on herself. people call rhaeneryas dragon moments 'badass' and put alicent down for sticking to the patriarchy. alicent sticks up for herself by calmly telling her husband that he can take her daughter away from her when she is cold and dead in her grave. that is the only thing she can do in that situation, and its a a risky thing to say to her groomer, abuser and husband (who is also the king) but she still does it to protect her daughter. when alicent is feeling lost, she prays to the mother. when rhaenerya is feeling lost, she rides syrax. alicent and sansa (and even cersei) are not afforded with magic and fantasy to escape their abuse, they have to do the best they can with what little power the average noble woman is given in their society.

Does it make sense to make fanart for a book that does not yet exist? Yes. I think yes.
I may have spent all night drawing it in a haze, but when I found out @jazzfordshire small town au is turning into a book, the whole thing was beyond my control.
I'm just so excited and proud of Jazz! I can't wait to read all about Dani and Eleanor and to have this book proudly sit on my shelf!

Ghost of fries and Hero of cookies part 2
All work words count: 14 593
Words in this part: 1 794
Summary of whole work: Duke wasn't expecting to wake up from his quick rooftop nap to some meta kid with fries. He also wasn't expecting kid to stay Or Danny asked Dani to stay safe while she was in Gotham. Where would she be safer than under the wing of local hero? And he looked like he needed bad day combo anyway
This part summary: Of new names and teasing
Beta read by @audhumla-sailor though English is second language for both of us, so proceed with this in mind. I also know all of the charaters through fics alone, so probably ooc. Stay catious if it's something you don't like
First part
Duke knew that Dani was in their agreed meeting point, he even vaguely knew where she was floating but not much more. She used her invisibility, which was weird since she knew it didn't work correctly on him. It was fifth time they met, of course they knew.
"Hey Signal, remember how you said that I need a codename if we're going to hang out in future and that all my previous ideas were horrible names?" a disembodied girly voice asked. Duke smiled. Ever since he raised the idea, the girl would come up with ridiculous names to be called, proposing them with absolutely straight face. It was expected from someone who thought Dani Phantom was a good alias. It didn't make her ideas any less amusing.
"Of course I do. Whatcha got for me today?"
"Alright, since you don't let me be a name stealer, I decided to take a sheet from local nightlife's notebook–"
"You mean take a leaf from their book?" He was sure she was rolling her eyes on him, but it didn't stop him. No one could maim English language like that with him around.
"Whatever. I chose to steal their idea and became a bird. It's only fair since I can actually fly!"
"Can't exactly disagree. So, what did you get this time?"
"You'll like that, I promise. But now, I introduce to you…"
Duke got ready to shut down every Robin iteration and all Birdgirls he could think of.
"HOOPOE!" Dani yelled, popping back to the visible spectrum. She was covered in bright orange cape with weirdly shaped hood and flimsy mask "I even did some costume changes to fit the name better–" in all honesty, one, yeah, he wasn't blind he realized, two, he needed a moment to remember how these birds looked (his first thought was 'wait it's a thing?!'). But then he got it and yeah, those were funny little creatures, just like Dani. It fitted her "–so even if you don't like it, it doesn't matter," she added, sticking her tongue out.
Duke patted her on the head. He was there, he knew it mattered.
"It's a great name Hoopoe"
Dani visibly though probably unconsciously, relaxed. Her mouth curved into a proud grin and her aura brightened. Normal auras didn't do that. He got used to Dani surprising him like that sometimes.
"Of course it's great, I made it."
Duke chose to not remind her about almost two dozen times she came up with absolutely not great names or about the fact that technically she didn't quite make this one either. He wasn't in such a petty mood. Maybe in future if he needed blackmail.
Oh, it was such a Bat thing, wasn't it? He needed to spend some more time with his civilian to get it out of himself, he liked his ability to interact with normal people in a healthy way.
*
"Wait, is your mask a paper?"
"What else could it be, titanium?"
"If you stop three muggings on the next three patrols each I'll get you a better one, okay?"
"Hey, my mask is perfectly fine"
"Yeah, but it can tear too easily. I can get you a mask that is more sturdy."
"Aha."
"It's the same material every Robin and Nightwing wear…"
"Don't care, my mask is flawless"
"..."
"Okay, better mask would be cool"
***
On the third patrol Dani joined, about a week and a half ago, they exchanged numbers. Duke knew how hard it was to come to terms with new powers on one's own and God strike him with a lightning or something if he ever lets anyone go through similar bullshit. Especially since she didn't seem to have anyone taking care of her. Girl her age shouldn't be able to hang out or respond to messages within ten minutes at any given time. Only twice she didn't do that, because she was on a celebrity hunt for autographs as she later explained. He would be teased endlessly if any Wayne or their associate learned about it, but he considered introducing Dani to Bruce. She needed help, okay?! He didn't inherit adoption tendencies.
But he hadn't done that, partially because he didn't want to scare Dani off and partially because of fear of teasing. And bet. Because of course in the meantime somehow there happened a bet.
He smirked at the video Dani sent as a response to the hydration check. She was tossing a coin and playing an elimination game to pick one juice from eight drinks she had. Steph jumped over the back of the couch to join him. At the start she was in front of him so to do that she had to run around the furniture but such minor inconveniences couldn't even wish to stop her dramatics.
"You're smiling at your phone ergo you either text your secret girlfriend/boyfriend/enbyfriend or watch memes. Show me the memes," she demanded, nudging him in the arm. Duke chuckled.
"Wrong guess. I'm texting my sidekick," they agreed it would be a funny way to introduce Dani to people who asked. Duke tried his best at this whole having sidekick thing anyway. As well as he could without help from other Bats because of this damn bet.
Steph froze for a moment.
"Your what–"
"And the lucky winner is… an apple with mint juice! Damn I really hoped it would be lemonade,"  Dani from the video announced cheerfully before opening the bottle" Shame it didn't make it past semi-finals. Happy hydration break. I'm going on an autograph hunt so I may not respond for the next two hours or so. Wish me luck, bye~"
Duke paused the video before it replayed. He glanced at Steph who finally rebooted.
"How come you got a kid and I learned about it just now?"
“In my defense I'm like 60% sure you're the second person in the family to learn about her. Depends if Tim got his ‘I have to know everything, gotta check body cams’ paranoid spree in the last two weeks or not. There was no teasing from Babs or anyone else if I'm being honest and no lecture from B, so they have no idea.”
“First was Alfred?”
“First was Alfred. I still don't know how.”
“That's our grandtler for you. You are forgiven but you have to tell me everything about her,” Steph demanded excitedly. “And show me the photos''
Duke snorted.
“She goes by Hoopoe and is about Damian's age. She can tell you her real name when B inevitably finds out and tries to interrogate her.”
“What if Spoiler drops by during the day?”
“You can try but give it another week and a day, okay?”
“Why?”
“We have bet that I'll hide her from B for three weeks. Tomorrow is the end of the second week. We both know how he is, he'll have questions if you randomly show up during the day."
"Stakes?"
"Speedster worth of winners favorite Batburger meal, 2 quarts of chosen drink and cookies"
"Valid. I ain't snitch, but I want to know more. Is she a meta?”
"Yeah. Powers I know of are invisibility, intangibility, superspeed, enhanced hearing and flight. Probably more. I think she already had some training with it because she has quite amazing control over this stuff. Like, it comes naturally to her. But her hand to hand is atrocious."
"Are you jealous?"
"No."
"Omg, you totally are! Don't be, she is just a baby with a better idea of what's going on with her powers than you have with yours. There is nothing to be mad about Duke, it's okay Duke–"
"Keep going and I won't tell you anything about her," he dared, trying not to snort.
"Sorry, sorry, you're doing great, please continue," she nudged his arm again "Don't be such softie, dude" He stared at her at the comment, disbelief clear on his face. Steph at least then looked a little ashamed "Okay, sorry. You're honestly doing far better than any of us would. Excluding Cass and Alfred."
"Excluding Cass and Alfred," he agreed easily enough.
"So, you think your kid has some training with her powers," she recalled eagerly.
"Yeah, probably from when she was helping her cousin. He is a hero in Amity Park, Illinois, his name is Phantom. It took very little digging even though Hoopoe does her best to stay mysterious. I swear this kid has no brain-mouth filter. But! I got my second shovel talk from her cousin!”
“The what?”
“After a week of hanging out with her, I got message on Signal’s twitter from Phantom that basically read as ‘I have nothing against you, really dude I’m a fan but here is list of my most powerful enemies, and let me tell you, there were some scarily powerful guys there, I won with all of them, if something bad happens to Hoopoe I can and will destroy you.’ After some research, yes, I think he could try and have considerable chance of success. Even if he didn’t fight would be painful enough to be a lesson. He and Hoopoe have the same powers and she worked with him for some time. She most likely learned then. She was called Dani Phantom, boy went by Danny Phantom then”
“Dear gods, their aliases were so horrible, who even let them go with it?! Are those their first names?!” Steph sounded genuinely offended by it.
“I don’t know,” Yeah, he knew, but he preferred to keep at least this secret to himself ”In boy's defense, because Hoopoe came much later,  he was fourteen and Amity went to shit really fast, so alias was probably not his first concern. And it’s much better than Invioso-bill, name he was given by the press. And he uses some intense gaslighting to make people believe it’s just Phantom now. And allegedly they’re both ghosts. Apparently ghosts don’t exactly have secret identity”
“You doubt it”
“You would too. She eats, she breathes and she is tangible by default. From what I know, ghosts don’t do that”
“They don’t, I checked. I went on a research spree when I first learned about Deadman. I just thought it was so cool you know. Ghosts being real and all,” Steph leaned towards him, almost vibrating with anticipation.
“Really?” he asked, knowing what he was getting into.
“Yeah, you see…”
And on she went, releasing expected infodump as if she waited for this opportunity ever since she first read about it.
********
Some additional name getting shenanigans
Signal: I won't call you Dani in the field
Dani: Why?
Signal: Ever heard of secret identity? Name is, like, half of it. Disguise is other half but it can be exchanged with lore. Superman made it work. Just make up enough lore for people to not question it.
Dani: Oh, okay *gremlin^2 mode activated*
Random they just rescued: And who are you little one?
Dani: *looking them dead in the eyes* I am clone of dead child hero, travelling around the world to find identity separated from my template befre mistakes made during my creation make me turn into puddle of primordal liquid and my conciousness fades forever
Random: *petrified* What?
Signal: *internally* I have miscalculated
Dani: Kid Signal
Signal: No.
Dani: It works in Central
Signal: We're not in Central
Dani: Signalgirl
Dani: I mean, Batgirl exists
Signal: No.
Dani: Monochromatic Signal. Y'know, Red Robin route?
Signal: ...
Signal: Just no. Don't make my name part of your name
Next part
Do you want to see some Hoopoe doodles I made? There were redesigns!!!

So, I have thought about something funny regarding my lil phoenix king Vlad au.
Is that he genuinely, just doesn't want to king.
He did at first, but after being the king of phoenixes for a prolonged time he, well. He hates it to be frank. They're stuck in their old way, old ways that make quite hard for Vlad to do frankly anything really, and they keep snubbing him for doing human things when he's something as glorious as a phoenix.
And they kept inviting themselves in unannounced at the most terrible of times to take with him, which has left Vlad a lacking of sleeping as well.
So Vlad uh, well.
He ran.
He just decided that he deserved a break from all of this, so he shrunk down to bird size (still relatively large for a bird), carefully contained his magical aura and then flew to what he was sure would be a great idea.
Daniel Fenton.
The boy himself did not seem all that amused by his appearance, amused at his reasoning but not all that when he was asked to hide him for an undetermined amount of time.
Dan? Currently still getting his feet under him after being turned into a Raiju (And nobody decided to inform him that the clone he was going to liquidize was the current vessel of a world destroying fusion of him and Daniel until he found out himself).
Danielle? Currently somewhere out in the goddamn sea and, well. Fire elemental, water elemental, mass amounts of water?
You can already see how that would go down.
And what about that man he caught Vlad in bed with a few months ago? They already knew about him, and he's currently indisposed at the moment with some magical shenanigan or scamming someone probably.
Point is, Danny has to hide Vlad from the phoenix council and their very terrible way of doing things and since Danny was a dragon, he would be the last those dull feathers would check.
Luckily, Danny agreed. So long as he didn't blow his cover as a non-human to the new family he found himself with.
The Wayne family.
Yea, they were a bunch of rich guys and maybe emotionally constipated but Danny likes what he's got going on here. They don't have any secret basements or labs, helpful to Gotham city itself and they're just totally normal people!
Emotional constipation notwithstanding.
Vlad agrees, he scratches Danny's back and Danny scratched his.
Vlad kept to Danny's room for the first few days, and would've kept to said room until he was forced out by Damian Wayne, who quite frankly scared him. The creepy boy was literally watching him sleep and he suddenly decided that Daniel's room isn't all that safe anymore.
The Wayne Mansion is big, so there should be at least one place Vlad could hide.

ASOIAF bitches have made an entire genre of literary criticism out of twisting themselves into giant, angry knots over how unfair and misogynistic it is that such a huge swathe of women in this text get murdered or tortured or raped for the purpose of influencing the male characters’ storylines but you make a single inadequately deferential point about how many women of color are made to swallow up huge amounts of graphic, intense suffering for that same purpose in the service of white women and they turn into stupefied, pearl-clutching children who just can’t understand why you’re being so mean to their Stronk Female Lead Who Has Been Through So Much

"Contrary to the other answers here, Dany’s not a great ruler. She’s impulsive, inept and, though well-intentioned, has a self-righteous streak a mile wide. It’s not misogynist to point out her actions leave Astapor a hell-scape, that she uses forced labour without pay in Mereen (there’s a word to describe that, it starts with S), and that she is frequently too quick to use violence to solve problems, especially as of the end of Book 5, where she outright decides to say ‘F peace!’ and starts burning shit."
● Wrong. Daenerys has a council made up of both rich and poor whom she always takes into account when making a decision. This is a girl who let a man spit on her in court and merely had him removed from the temple. A boy lunged at her to attack her and again, only had him removed. She plants trees and beans, has irrigation canals built, and she DOES pay her men to work until the gold runs dry, she then pays them with food and shelter. They have a choice, it is not slavery, and her freedmen STILL love her despite the hardship as seen in Tyrion's Winds chapter. They are crying out for her to come back and smash the slavers once again. She trapped herself in an unhappy marriage and locked up her dragons in the name of peace. She learned her lesson from Astapor, that's the entire reason she stays in Meeren, it's not like she kept on doing the same thing after, she refuses, and Astapor haunts her throughout her chapters. Nowhere in book 5 does Dany start burning stuff down because "eff peace" NOWHERE. I read her chapters all the time, that is false.
"Dany had red flags(and she had plenty)? Book! Dany is worse. She has no qualms whatsoever with slaves being rounded up en masse because it’s Drogo doing it with the intent of earning her Westeros. She’s willing to let starving slaves sell themselves back into slavery as long as she gets a cut from the earnings."
● This is just blatantly false. Unlike the show, the reason Drogo's Khalasar attacked the Lhazareen was because ANOTHER KHAL was attacking them first. Drogo surprise attacked him to gain more respect in his Khalasar and steal his victory, as Dothraki Khals do. The moment Dany realized all of the terrible things happening she tried to convince herself to ignore it for all of 30 seconds before putting a stop to it. Her power was dependent on Drogo, she was nothing to the Khalasar without him, so she had to work within his power to protect the women she saved. Also, the slaves of Meereen were not starving, Meereen had freshly fallen and the slaves who wanted to sell themselves back into slavery were "gently born" bed slaves, scribes, and teachers, who saw a better life that way. She freed them to give them choice, she was not going to force them to remain in Meereen knowing that war was coming. Also, it was Missandei, a former slave, who suggested taxing the slavery to deincentivize it and Daenerys put that right back into Meereen's economy. She never pockets any gold, her goal in Meereen is rebuilding.
"She has a wineseller’s daughters tortured before the man’s eyes because someone murdered two of her Unsullied in his wine shop: nothing ever comes out of it. Oh, and she’s doing it because one of her favorite slaves is murdered… on the other side of the city. She’s willing to impress the slaves she supposedly liberated into working for food and water in her public works projects, and somehow not see that literally is slavery."
● Daenerys approved the use of torture *once* in the series because 2 of her Unsullied her killed brutally and there had been many more murders before that with no leads. I don't know about this "favorite slave" you are referring to. Torture falls within the accepted values of society in ASOIAF; Crow cages for villages (Catelyn wanted Theon in one), Ice Cells for the Night's Watch (also Qhorin Halfhand tortured a wildling to death), Sky Cells and an abusive inkeep for The Vale, the Black Cells and torturers for King's Landing, I could go on. Stannis tortures Theon and lets people be burned alive, The Manderlys have a torturer named Garth, the Faith utilize torture for information, even King Jaehaerys the Conciliator used torture to get information. And above all of what I just listed, Daenerys is the first and only leader in the books to openly condemn and ban the use of torture afterward. She recognizes that it is useless and cruel. Again, she paid the freedmen wages until she was besieged and the gold ran out, she pays them with what she has. She DOES NOT force anyone to work, you're using the exact argument that Xaro, an unrepentant slaver who compared slavery to rain, tried to use to convince Dany to allow slavery again. I think you're missing the point. Her freedmen still love her and want her to rule despite the hardship, NO ONE is calling Dany a slaver in the books, not even the people who hate her. They all hate her because she is a liberator.
"Hell, her whole ‘kill a city of innocents’ schtick? She’s already done that in the books.
When ordering her brand new Unsullied to sack Astapor, she ordered them:
“Slay the Good Masters, slay the soldiers, slay every man who wears a tokar or holds a whip, but harm no child under twelve, and strike the chains off every slave you see.”
A tokar is a clothing that in Astapor is uniquely worn only by the freeborn. You claim show! Daenerys went batshit: her book counterpart effectively ordered an army to kill every man in a city that wasn’t a slave or wasn’t dirt poor or a hard laborer, irrespective of whether they actually owned slaves, including children above the age of twelve, and those under that age unlucky enough to look a bit old for their age."
● A tokar can ONLY be worn by slavers. Know why? Because it takes your hands to hold it in place. Only people who do not use their hands because they have slaves to do everything for them can wear it. It is the symbol of a slaver. Also, "harm no child under 12" DOES NOT mean "kill everyone over 12". In her society, a boy is considered a man at 14, they begin training with sword and shield long before that. The youngest commander of the Night's Watch was 10 years old, the same age Barristan Selmy was when he entered his first tourney. Doubtless, young boys would try to fight the Unsullied, but she didn't want them harmed so she gave a rough age of accountability on the spot. The Unsullied do not fill in gaps in orders, which is the exact reason Jorah urged her to buy them, they will only do what is explicitly ordered. I feel like people intentionally misread this to villainize Dany even though the entire reason she wanted to free the Unsullied was to save children from torture. She is constantly contemplating her want and love for children, you have to think about these scenes in the context of her character. Dany would never want children to be slaughtered. However, I think the most important thing to acknowledge when it comes to Astapor was that Dany learned her lesson and decided to take the next city without laying a hand on them, then stayed to rule in Meereen to stabilize it.
There is no meticulously built up madness arc, at all. The point of George's key 5 are that they are the underdogs of society who defy the expectations of their world at every turn, and even though some are hated, they will be the ones to rise up and save the world from the Long Night. George is not pessimistic, he's not centrist, and he certainly believes in righteous war and violence. At its heart, ASOIAF is still a fantasy series, George just doesn't brush over the hardships and ugly truths like most fantasy novels do. Most of your evidence is easily disproven by the text, I'll whip out book quotes if you want me to.
And then they didn't respond 🤷🏻‍♀️
