The first book (or Arc 1) will be themed around Sun, the second book/arc on moon, and the third based on stars (concept and colour still subject to change)

Im also thinking that the bytes of lunacy side fics will be included in the back of the third book.

Master post for all @naffeclipse book cover designs (except song fish amid the stars) since I decided after finishing the third one I was just going to do one for all of them n didn’t wanna spam post back to back.

My brain just keeps gridlocking whenever I try to think of one for song fish. Something with Circus I just know it, but what without it being cluttered idk. Will put a lil vid below the collapse of me trying n failing to come up with one, just so it’s not left out

I love all these stories! It was fun to honor all of them with this project since I know I’ve been a little artistically biased towards certain ones, but now I scurry on to other projects. Maybe take a break, drink some hot cocoa maybe. The smell of fall is in the air so who knows where I’ll wander off to.

Another old cover design redraw. I was actually pretty pleased with my first attempt but wanted to see what I could improve with my new skills and I think it turned out well! (New on left old on right)

Book is Ash by Malinda Lo / @malindalo a beautiful thoughtful retelling of Cinderella with themes of grief and healing, deals with dark fey and an LGBT protagonist. Go check it out!

drew some more perns just now.. it's been years but i remember the wings on the covers of some of the books being insect-like and the text backs this up a little in places. i thought a variable wing morphology would be fun, the propatagium can be extended or relaxed similar to slats on a plane to increase wing surface area and lift at low airspeeds. here we have a light and fast blue (top) and a more robust brown (bottom)
