Arghhhhhhhhh!!!!! 🥺🥺🥺 I'm goona miss the bayview murder club / the bayview crew. I'm completely and totally smitten by Karen m mcnamus's bayview world. And I loved how in every book the members kept increasing and they all become kind of a found family.

Myyyy Goddddd 😮😮 In One of Us Is Back : the secrets, the plot twists and the tension, the juicy characters made my jaw drop.

Romance subplot was magical ✨😇

I am head over heels for every character present in this books - Nate and Bronwyn are ENDGAME, they are infinite. Addy is the bravest. Kris and Copper have my heart. Maeave is so damn intelligent and along with Luis, they are so cute. Phoebe and Knox were totes adorable and deserve everything. Supporting characters - phenomenal.

I enjoyed reading Jake and Simon's chapters. And how everything came back to them in the end.

The endinggggggg Ugh so beautifully written and so well deserved.🫶🏻🫶🏻

Thank you thank you thank you thank you @writerkmc for creating this universe and gifting us these characters. I'm definitely going miss them until next reread time.🩷🩶🤍🩵

✅ DO Address the literary agent name by name. Personalization is important for queries. You're trying to stand out among thousands of query emails. You have to make yourself memorable. Mention why you're querying a particular agent. Maybe they represent one of your favorite writers—mention that!

✅ DO Research the literary agent. The more you know about them and what they represent, the better you will be able to gauge if they are the right agent to represent your story. Don't just query anyone! Be sure they represent your genre. Be sure they are still seeking those types of books. A quick Google search will go a long way!

❌ DON'T Avoid saying that your book is the nest bestseller, or that you're the next Stephen King or J.K. Rowling. Doing this is your one-way ticket to an agent closing your email and moving on. Be formal. Be professional. Don't brag about yourself or your story. Even in your bio, remain humble.

❌ DON'T Email the literary agent insults or "that they've made a mistake" if you receive a rejection letter. This will get you on a list that will lead to you receiving rejections from every agent within the publishing industry. The book community talks. We love tea (all kinds). You will be put on a "do not represent" list and never be considered after you've crossed this line.

i loved every moment of reading this book, it had me in fits of giggles so many times! also, i found the representation of brad's ocd and his compulsive thoughts to be well done! i highly recommend checking the audiobook as well, the narrators did a phenomenal job!

Meine Lesung vom 04.08.2023

Schön, dass Ihr wieder Interesse an meinen neuesten Auslassungen habt.

In der heutigen Geschichte habe ich meine Gedanken zu dem Thema verarbeitet, welche Verantwortung wir als Deutsche für das ukrainische Volk haben, wenn das immer wieder in politischen Diskussionen zum Krieg in der Ukraine als Argumentation fiel. Welche genaue Verbindung haben wir zu diesem Land, dass einmal auch ein Teil der sogenannten Sowjetunion war. Und dabei stieß ich auf Details zum Massaker von Babyn Jar oder wie man es auch nennt Babi Jar.

Das Massaker von Babi Yar war ein schweres Kriegsverbrechen, das während des Zweiten Weltkriegs stattfand. Hier sind einige Fakten dazu:

Das Massaker von Babi Yar ereignete sich vom 29. bis 30. September 1941 in der Nähe von Kiew, der heutigen Hauptstadt der Ukraine. Zu dieser Zeit war Kiew von der deutschen Wehrmacht besetzt.

Die deutschen Besatzer ordneten an, dass alle Juden der Stadt sich am 29. September 1941 auf einem Gelände namens Babi Yar versammeln sollten. Die genaue Anzahl der Opfer ist nicht bekannt, aber schätzungsweise wurden dort mehr als 33.000 Menschen ermordet.

Die Opfer des Massakers waren hauptsächlich jüdische Männer, Frauen und Kinder, aber auch Roma, sowjetische Kriegsgefangene und andere wurden dort getötet.

Die Ermordungen wurden von deutschen Einsatzgruppen und ukrainischen Kollaborateuren durchgeführt. Die Opfer wurden gezwungen, sich am Rand einer Schlucht aufzureihen, um dann von Schützen erschossen zu werden. Die Leichen wurden anschließend in die Schlucht geworfen.

Babi Yar war nur eines von vielen Massakern, die während der deutschen Besatzung in Osteuropa stattfanden und Teil des systematischen Vorgehens zur Vernichtung der jüdischen Bevölkerung waren.

Nach 1945 gab es verschiedene Bemühungen zur Aufarbeitung des Massakers von Babi Yar und anderer Verbrechen des Holocaust. Hier sind einige Aspekte der Nachkriegszeit:

Nach dem Kriegsende wurden in den Nürnberger Prozessen Kriegsverbrecher angeklagt und verurteilt, darunter auch Personen, die für Verbrechen in Babi Yar verantwortlich waren.

Die Sowjetunion erklärte das Gebiet von Babi Yar 1946 zum nationalen Denkmal und errichtete ein Mahnmal, das später erweitert wurde, um auch anderer Opfergruppen zu gedenken.

In den folgenden Jahrzehnten wurden weitere Gedenkstätten und Denkmäler in Babi Yar errichtet, um an die Opfer zu erinnern und das Bewusstsein für die Verbrechen des Holocaust aufrechtzuerhalten.

Die Ukraine hat sich seit ihrer Unabhängigkeit 1991 weiterhin mit der Erinnerung an Babi Yar auseinandergesetzt. Es wurden Initiativen gestartet, um die Geschichte und die Erinnerung zu bewahren, darunter auch eine umfangreiche Renovierung der Gedenkstätte im Jahr 2020.

Die Aufarbeitung des Massakers von Babi Yar ist ein fortlaufender Prozess, bei dem die Erinnerung an die Opfer bewahrt und die Bedeutung dieses Verbrechens in der Geschichte des Holocaust betont wird.

Und so wie wir alles Unrecht überall auf der Welt verurteilen sollten, so haben wir doch diese Verantwortung in Gedenken an die Verbrechen jener Zeit für einen gerechten Frieden einzustehen, mit allen Mitteln, die dazu notwendig sind.

Jeder kann sich dazu natürlich eine eigene Meinung bilden. Meine heute erzählte Geschichte soll ein winziger Beitrag zum Nachdenken sein.

Lunatic - Archer and Mac 🫶🏻🫶🏻 these guys are really cute together and there was so much sexy angst 🔥 and scorching hotness 🥵 between them.

The plot was interesting and I loved all the characters appearance, mostly Adam and Noah ~ they are my favorite couples and they are so damn cute 🥰❤.

Finally only one book to go in the series, Thomas and Aiden. I am excited to devour there story.
