S/he's reasonably attractive in a conventional sense, but all the work s/he's done to master hir chaotic magic has given hir an aura of relaxed power and confidence that can be absolutely irresistible to the right bottom person. S/he feels little need to prove hirself in the arena of dominance, and takes no offense to the uninterested. S/he doesn't grasp after power or demand it; s/he simply has it.

(This makes it all the more hilarious when an actual romantic relationship forms, throwing hir off that confidence...)

👂 : Does your OC have an attractive voice?

Most people think so - it's low in pitch, with a small amount of vocal fry. Here's another sample of hir vc, Rekha, speaking in a BBC Hindi interview.

😍 : What does your OC find irresistible in others?

It's well known that s/he is attracted to difference and uniqueness - not just physically, but in aura/vibes as well - but s/he is also very attracted to other strong personalities.

S/he's aware that hir own personality is very strong, as it has to be to maintain hir sense of self when the alternative is drowning in a sea of chaotic magic (this is why D&D sorcerers have to have a high CHA stat!). S/he much prefers to be with someone else who is also kind of A Lot - in part because they're simply more interesting to hir, and in part because they are so much less likely to get overwhelmed by hir own force of personality. Being a submissive does not mean being a doormat, after all.

When his magic began to manifest during his childhood.

Hjordis

Hjordis is always reevaluating herself and what she needs to do to improve. There's no big transformations of note.

Marcus Aquila

Going from an unassuming middle child status within a noble family to suddenly being it's Head.

The most impatient, living, adult Hjordis knows is her aunt, Morga.

Marcus Aquila

Marcus Aquila works in The Palace. I'm sure that many of the nobility he might work with could be impatient. I think he also is in control of the wages of the palace staff, so someone might show impatience in that regard...If we want a named character it's probably Valerius.

Heron

Heron has grown a lot in the year+ since he was first conceived as a character. A particular voice has emerged and a lot of magical theories and a system has developed around him (and Jinana) during that time. His personality has grown as well into something far more complicated. It's hard to even just pick a few things specifically.

Hjordis

Hjordis has probably had the least development of the three, but I like to think I've made some fun things for her character in the time since I first created her. There's a greater RP universe that's a sort of Urban Fantasy setting that has a version of her that has seen the most growth. Mainly in that she's a YouTube/TikTok content creator who travels around killing/capturing demons and other dangerous entities.

Marcus Aquila

Marcus Aquila had a heel turn on eir personality. Ey became much kinder as a worked with em, far less apathetic and more compassionate towards others.

Heron's childhood was spent learning about magic and how to control it alongside Jinana. He had loving parents and a skilled teacher to also help him along his way to adulthood.

Hjordis

Hjordis spent her childhood growing up alongside the orphaned children of The Scourge in the harsh environment of The Scourgelands. The lot of them were raised by her mother Ragna, and the few other non-combatants who were not slain during the campaign against the Kokhuri.

Marcus Aquila

Marcus Aquila spent eir childhood mostly on eir family's estate under the watchful eye of eir mother and tutors. Ey excelled in mathematics and music, but also had an affinity for horses and was a very good polo player.

Random Fact(s): 

Has a couple exes and has multiple flings over the years - her first "ex" was another monk in a different monastery she had a long pen-pal correspondence with in her teens. The two of them really bonded over shared feelings of alienation and overcoming internal frustration and anxiety. They broke up very nastily when they first met in person and it turned out she wasn't a half-elf and he wasn't a tiefling (they were both 17 and so desperately upset. They both regret stuff they said.) Her other ex is the owner of an inn in the middle of nowhere (North East of Scornubel outside the Reaching Woods) who was kind enough to let her stay a while as she healed from the injuries that caused the scar on her face (she was lucky enough to be found by an adventuring party and dragged there to rest off the levels of exhaustion.) She stayed for a couple years. Their relationship ended amicably but out of necessity when she was fully healed up and ready to move on. They still write sometimes, but the inn owner has since married and settled happily into family life while she still wanders.

Between those two exes she spent about 10 years thinking herself completely unlovable and unworthy of attention and affection - she got better though.

She's missing the very tip of the hook of her tail because she accidentally bit it off as a toddler.

Has taken to calling Karlach 'Soul' when she uses 'Soldier' (used with affection, of course.)

Soft OC Asks

🍁 Where does your OC go when they need to have some time to themself? Would they ever have their own “comfort corner” filled with all the things they like? Do they have a favourite spot outside that feels like its theirs and theirs alone?

Morgan has a couple different places that she will go when she needs space! The first one would be the crow's nest of her father's ship, the Lady Circe. When she's at sea, she'll climb up there when she can't sleep. The second place is her Rainbow Pool! It was brought up in her romance tale. Basically, it's a little pocket dimension made by ancient water mages from her country. It's anchored to an abandoned temple in Vesuvia, but she could move its entrance location if she wanted. The third place is basically just any and all beaches.

🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

Morgan tends to notice people's smiles, or the way that people act when they're happy. That often lifts her spirits. She also tends to cheer up when she sees kids being kids. Is that cheesy? Absolutely, but we are pro-cheese here.

Finally, FINALLY I have collected enough assets to do MerMay!

This one will go a lil differently from previous Renderpaloozas - I'll be taking requests all week (5/1/23 - 5/7/23), but instead of trying to cram all the renders into the same week, I'll be pacing myself and releasing them throughout the month.

Glossy/Metallic/Pearly/Bioluminescent - I can make the tail have a fancy sheen or bioluminescent markings!

Clothing/Jewelry:

Pearls, gems, gold, silver; rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and body chains; facial and body piercings - I can adorn your mer in jewelry if you like! Give a general vibe and I'll do my best to fulfill it from my large library of jewelry assets. (Otherwise, they'll just have their usual jewelry.)

Armor - I can put armor on the top half of your mer. Choose from fantasy or realistic styles.

Modesty top - if your mer has breasts, they can go bare (will mark the render as Mature) or I can choose a little fantasy top for them to wear. (If your mer goes bare, I can absolutely give them nip piercings btw)

Masc mers can absolutely wear a little crop top too, as a treat :)

Hair:

Unless otherwise specified, characters will have their usual hair, but you can request a long-haired version for your mer!
