she has the most classic princess dress style in the entire series (pink with the royal banner belt) but she has a cap sleeve/vest thing going on which i am obsessed with AND the plain cape is *chef's kiss*. but i am mostly very taken with her because of the ginger hair tied up in a bow. very very cute design. also toon Zelda supremacy!!!

LU boys as the songs I listen to when drawing them

I’m not the only one who draws with music and I tend to use a mix of LOZ songs and songs from my personal playlist. So basically for this one Imma use songs from my personal playlist because with LOZ songs I tend to just listen to each boy’s OSTs and that boring. Links(heh) to the songs will be included and this is only some of them, I’ll make a part two if y’all are interested 

Time = Nancy Mulligan, technically more of a Malink song but it gets his less sad vibe across and also it’s a jam to just listen too. Listen here

Twilight = Nightmares Never End, look listen to it and you’ll get why it fits him, plus I can loop it a lot and not get tired of the song. Listen Here

Warriors = Getcha : Kira self cover, I got into a heavy vocaloid mood when I started drawing Warriors more so the two got connected for me, usually I’ll pop on some Kira and start doodling unless it’s a dramatic piece. Listen here

Sky =  Kaleidoscope, Sky usually gets his game’s soundtrack but when he doesn’t this bubblegum pop is usually get’s me in the mood to draw birb boi. Listen Here

Wild = Miracle, Wild once was more of a favorite and then fell out of my favor but whenever I do draw the arsonist this is usually what I play if I don’t use BOTW’s Soundtrack for background Noise. Listen Here

Legend = Ghost of a Rose, that or the soundtrack of Princess and the Pauper depends if I want the mood to be somber or not also it has sad marin vibes so that’s good, Listen Here

Hyrule = The Shire, Hobbit Hyrule enough said. Listen Here

Four = Faster Car, this literally has nothing to do with Four except Four is low pressure to draw because I know no matter what Four stans are just happy to get content and Faster Car just my relaxing song I use to just chill and draw. so yeah no real reason it’s just a nice song. Listen Here

Wind = Up is Down, this is a weird one but since I don’t draw Wind a lot when I do he either get this or the soundtrack of Assassin’s Creed 4 but Wind’s more of a Will Turner than a Edward Kenway anyway. Listen Here

Revali is my favorite BotW character so here, I took the time to doodle him legitimately.

1. First drawing, relatively detailed in the purpose of getting a good grasp of drawing his head and forearms.

2. Salty ravioli and KFC (the favorite birb of all birbs, with ghost half and Sky Fracture)— Aaaaa I forgot to draw the little green ghost things around Ravioli DDD:

Whatever, I can live with it. Also, I originally planned to draw them holding hands, but Revali’s drumsticks are short compared to the rest of his body, and the opposite applies to Youmu/Blaziken. So their hands at this state can’t meet.

3. This bonus is from when I drew little dots as the placeholders for the eyes in a WIP. A friend wanted me to keep them, so that results in...

i just finished Age of Calamity, and i'm like.... i'm in tears?!?! in tears or close to it

okay i got this game on release day. i wasn't able to touch it until recently because irl's been actually insane

i've been going through it recently so i decided to start playing it, if only for some stress relief

somehow, i managed to avoid most spoilers (thankfully, even tho i started playing mad late), but i did hear a lot of ppl's opinions on the storyline and characterizations and stuff

i tend to pick things apart a ton bc i'm a very analytical person so i went into this game determined to NOT do that, lol

(i'm very glad that i did.)

Nintendo really went, "yes, we know the timeline for this franchise is already hella screwed so why even bother fixing it? </333"

i purposefully tried to distance myself mentally from BotW and previous Zelda titles because it's Hyrule Warriors and i just wanted to enjoy the game for what it was

i'm just... i'm...

the story is a whole mess, but for what it's worth, it made me feel something. seeing Zelda's struggle through her own eyes as opposed to Link's was really touching, and i found myself relating to her a lot as the story progressed

i think that the way they chose to focus on Zelda more instead of Link through this storyline was kind of cool. i know we don't usually get to see a ton of depth with Link, but we usually see even less with Zelda incarnations, and this felt really special

i'm such a Zelda stan, can you tell?

Impa was cool! she looked too much like Paya to me tho ;-; i kept calling her Paya kjfghkdhfg. her playstyle was difficult for me to master at first, but i can appreciate her (and her devotion to the King/Princess)

i also appreciated the further characterization of the Champions. as usual, Revali and Urbosa had the most personality, i feel, with Mipha and Daruk a bit slighted. even still, seeing Daruk afraid of dogs and Mipha with baby Sidon and Urbosa calling Zelda little bird and Revali failing then succeeding in front of Zelda just felt so perfect. it made me so SOFT

being able to play as the Champions was so cool. i appreciated them all individually, but my favorite is Revali (i just love my arrogant archer birb, and i'm not a Revali local). i loved him instantly from BotW when most of the fandom was slandering him. Urbosa's lightning gauge is brilliant, and tossing her shield around like a frisbee is goals. Daruk being a slow, powerful roly poly was a 10/10 experience, and using Mipha's Grace as Mipha was kind of surreal after like 500-600 hours' worth of BotW. using all the Champions' abilities while playing as the Champions was incredible

bruh, okay, tbh, i loved Hestu in BotW, but making him a playable character in AoC was a questionable choice imo...... AND HE'S VOICED BY THE SAME PERSON AS MARINETTE??? he so slowww. but he kinda cute? i don't use him that much ;-;

lowkey everything kinda went downhill after Hestu tho in terms of continuity within the game itself

random time travel glitch in the matrix to bring Riju, Teba, Sidon, and Yunobo to the scene </3333

playing as Riju is kinda rough; i still haven't grasped the rhythm that comes w playing her yet, but she and Patricia are such a dope team. Teba is EVERYTHING; i loved having another archer to play as, and his glide is so cool. Sidon's surf shark is genius, and his combos flow fluidly (ew, pun). Yunobo... is Yunobo. i don't think i used him very much kjdfgkjdfhg

the Great Fairies were an... interesting addition? so was Monk Maz Koshia? i don't use them much either, lol

BUT MASTER KOHGA LOL. ngl i love seeing various interpretations of the Yiga Clan (ones where they're sinister, ones where they're devious, ones where they're bloodthirsty), but seeing them as silly bad-guys-turned-good was cool. Kohga's surprisingly easy to use too?? he's such a clown, and i appreciate it

King Rhoam is a jerk. but he also has a cool playstyle, and i honestly... ugh, i wish Nintendo would let Zelda and Link have non-dysfunctional parents. whenever i write fic using Rhoam, he's not going to be a jerk bc both he and Zelda deserve better ;-; his little beard stroke whenever he does a special move, lol

idk if i'm forgetting any characters, but... if i did, i don't use them </3

my mains were Zelda and Revali with Link, Sidon, Teba, and Rhoam as supports. i also really liked Urbosa, Daruk, and Kohga but used them less for some reason

but YEAHH. after 67 hours later, 73% of my map is completed, and i'm finally done with the main storyline

i feel... happy ish now. life is difficult right now, but this game made it even a little bit more bearable for me, and i think that that's part of its beauty

gosh, i could write meta after meta abt this game, but i probably won't because i want the magic to still be fresh in my mind

My Nintendo Switch Screenshots 2019

Time for another batch of screenshots! Looking back at these they bring me back to a time where I had way more time to consume longer sessions of gaming and I miss that. Even if it was just a year ago, so much has changed. But one thing hasn't changed for sure, I’m still playing BotW! 

More Breath of the Wild

As you can see from previous screenshots and the ones below, BotW was a game I took MY TIME with. There was this feeling that I had never seen every inch of the world in front of me and wanted to soak it all in. So it took me three years to finally feel like I had accomplished it all and was finally ready to let it rest after finishing the expansion pass content. Now all that is left to do is to wait for Breath of the Wild 2 to release...... still waiting for more info on it but I’m sure well get something this year.... maybe in 2020.

This challenge right here. Trail of the Sword. Yeah, it was pure torture. A lot of it I have suppressed and forgotten but I do remember how important it was to sneak up on the fairies in between each challenge to gain back some hearts. And the fish in the ponds as well. 

The group of monks at the end of the pathway after completing the trail is a nice visual touch and made it feel even more epic. Took the time to look at the many little details embezzled around the walls that depicted each champions landmark and what seemed to be constellations decorated above the champions. Seeing the monks together at last had me zooming in and noticing any subtle differences between each other. It’s like a game sort of, pointing out the similarities and changes in their poses, accessories or hair style. 

The more content unraveled from the expansion pass was just the icing on the cake for me. After all the hours put into the game while progressing through a story line that had all the champions dead it was nice to spend more time seeing their personalities in past memories. Even though all the extra screen time were moments from the past, it exposed sides of each champion we have yet to see or confirmed feelings the player already sensed from the relationship shared between the champion and the hero. It would've been a nice ending to bring the champions back to life but I knew from the get that their deaths were permanent. Yet I so desperately wanted to bring them back somehow. 

Learning more about each champion in the past made their deaths more understandable and important to the story. That sacrifice was heavy which made me feel pretty much alone during my journey. Now looking back I appreciate that there is no option to bring the champions back. It sets a heavy tone that you have to carry throughout your journey as Link. Each time you look out into the distant, you can’t help but notice the legacy each champion left behind. Reminding you how fragile the state of Hyrule truly has become with the loss of multiple figures that meant so much hope for each of their respective villages.

OK, enough about dead champions.

Kass is back!

I was always looking froward to hearing his tune change each time I would see him again at another stone hedge location.Going from a simple tune to the final masterpiece: The Champions’ Ballad. I was hoping he would magically appear next to each divine beast after defeating ganon blight v.2 just so I could hear him play Urbosa’s theme again. But no. He no longer ventures out of Rito lands. You can now find him playing on a ledge at his home town. And if you get there at the right time you can watch him sing along with his daughters, a show I find myself turning on my Switch for the sole purpose of listening for a couple minutes cause man, I love hearing him play.

Revali fluff

You and Revali are normally really fluffy and cute couple.

But also treat each other like best friends.

Isn't your partner just a really good friend but you can kiss them and stuff?

When you're in a date with him, everyone thinks that you two are best friends.

Knowing the reputation that Revali has, it's normal.

Everyone thinks that until you can touch and use his bow without a problem.

Normally your dates are going to eat something, cuddle in cute places, talking while doing something else.

Nobody knows when you two are in a actual date.

Revali is not of showing a lot of love in saying or touching.

He's more of getting sure you are safe and fine.

Like “Be careful”, “It's going to be freezing there, you will have to wear the snowquill set, if you not use it, you might get a cold and that's the last thing I want”, and more.

He always wants you to know that he loves you, even if he is not used to show it a lot.

You probably felt neglected at some point, not everyone can understand or is not used of that way of love.

He find out pretty quickly.

He can notice even the smallest of things if it's about you.

He was determined to talk about it

“My dear, we need to settle this issue, I have noticed that you had been quite depressed, I know it's because you're not used to the way I show love and I admit I do not have a lot of experience with it, no words can describe how sorry I am”

That was kinda long, sorry.

You cried almost immediately.

He rushed to hug you.

He just wants you to know he loves you no matter what.

The rest of the day, he did everything he could to cheer you up.

Cuddles are always first.

He just holds you, and for the rest of the day, never lets you go.

He normally wouldn't do that, you thought it was nice for him to try new things but you didn't want him to go more of his limit.

In this account we love fluff but we want all participants of a couple be happy with each other and show mutual love, not just one sided love.

Anyone who say otherwise... I gonna wreck you two pieces.

You also tried to make Revali more happy as much as you could.

It's seems that you two are just really full of love.

As I stated before, you two can't actually kiss because of his beak.

But you can do the version of kissing of the Rito.

Normally it's snuggle your foreheads, but you can also snuggle in his chest or neck.

But any of that stops you for sometimes kissing his cheeks or beak.

That just immediately makes him really confused and surprised.

so today i went to calico (or something like that) lake in the faron region and found kass playing his accordion and there was a storm with lighting strikes and shit, and i got near kass to talk to him cause it always means he’s gonna give me a shrine quest

and i was getting near him when fucking LIGHTING FELL LITERALLY NEXT TO HIM, LIKE INCHES AWAY FROM WHERE HE WAS, and he stopped playing and looked at the spot where it fell ALL HORRIFIED and the grass around caught fire and he was watching it burn and i got near cause i got WORRIED

CAUSE I LOVE KASS, LIKE HE’S MY BIRB BRO, and he wouldn’t talk to me cause he kept watching the place where the lighting fell all scared for a couple of seconds, then he collected himself, looked at me, started playing his accordion again and talked to me omfg
