Dear Nintendo, why did you make Zelda's outfit so confusing -a BOTW fanartist
No hate to the artists who designed her, but I just find Zelda's main outfit to be so confusing.
There's a lot of nonsensical details and decisions that make her outfit so hard to understand. Everytime I draw Zelda I think I got her design down, until I look at the reference again and realize I misunderstood like 5 details.
Well I hope in the sequel, if Zelda ever gets new outfits, that they'll make a bit more sense :)

Finally “completed” one of the Link designs! I say “completed” because, you know me… I’ll most likely keep making changes. Especially those pants, my creativity flopped on that front.
Anyways here’s Champion, or BotW/TotK Link! There was a 3/4-year time gap from the events of the first game to its sequel, and I am fully convinced that Link is supposed to look at least slightly older in TotK, even though the game doesn’t really represent that? I tried to keep his design relatively simple and consistent between the two designs, where TotK is more of an “upgraded” version of BotW, rather than a redesign. He wears more or less the same basics but with upgraded gear!

Last apple at the end of tabantha’s growing season (headcanon revali is nice to link)
I was thinking that revali would have no reason to hate link before he drew the master sword. And I assume links father had business in rito village at some point, why not bring the family?

i'd say this is more or less how I imagine Bazz to actually look like, outside his Generic Male Zora NPC model and also my usual, more cartoony version of him
like, there's this slight angularity in his features, and his scales are more dark grey with bluish undertones rather than black
he's also at least a bit roughed up around the edges
