Bowtie Pasta Salad
Bowtie (farfalle) pasta is my absolute favorite!
1 box of farfalle
1 red bell pepper
1/2 of a bag of frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 of a bag of frozen okra
1 small can of artichoke hearts
1 container of mushrooms
1/2 of a lemon
About 1/3 cup of oil
About 1 tbsp of white wine vinegar
2 spoonfuls of garlic
Salt
Pepper
Oregano (fresh, if you've got it)
Other veggies you could use: zucchini, squash, cauliflower, peas, asparagus
Note: feel free to use fresh veggies and leave them raw for an even healthier version. I had frozen veggies, so I used them. Use what you got!
Start cooking your pasta according to instructions on the box. While that's going, chop up your mushrooms and add them to a pan along with the broccoli and okra. Set that to medium heat and stir occasionally. Once the veggies are cooked, turn the heat off and allow them to cool. Chop up your bell pepper and throw that into a big serving bowl. In a small bowl, mix up the oil, lemon, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano; set to the side. Once your pasta is done cooking, strain it and run some cold water over it. Add the pasta to your serving bowl along with the veggies in the pan. Pour your dressing over the top and mix everything up really good. Let it sit in the fridge to cool, preferably for a couple of hours. Enjoy!

haha, i think this is related to me confessing my love of italian food
honestly i have no favorite shape bc it depends on the pasta sauce but i think bowtie is amazing bc it’s so silly
