On another side note, more ghost perspective pls. Especially after the final battle. Like post a bonus video a week after the finale yk? I want to see them make bets on who's winning.

On another another side note. Ren saying that they were loyal to the end in their ghost perspective is so ironic to me, but it literally doesn't help with my utter confusion of what's going on with Ren and BigB. So does Ren actually know?? Or did Ren just say that for a nicer final narrative?

What I hold dear about this animatic is all the little moments at the end. (I love angst, it feeds me, all that jazz.)

But what really gets me is showing all those happy moments and jokes, all those moments that made you crack a smile.

It’s not like those moments are gone, but it’s so sad and bittersweet and there’s grief for those moments that only exist in memory.

Double life is my personal favorite season and this makes me tear up and I keep coming back to this animatic at least 6 months after I found it and it still aches

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve rarely had an animatic or piece of art hit me this hard, even when I’m not lost in my head/an anxious mess

(And I remember silly little block people are the basis for this and I cry in a whole other way lol)

crying, been rewatching and I love how BigB plays in his episode 4 Double Life POV (where he's a red life).

Just starts dropping "I came here to kill you" in casual conversation.

Leaving cryptic signs everywhere. Urging people to read his signs. Scott called him out on a sign and his defense was "I'm red."

Threatens a dog so it doesn't get any ideas about letting on that he was snooping around.

Starts breaking agreements he made with Grian [secret soulmates, don't tell Ren about this] and just throwing around phrases like "I wasn't supposed to do this but I'm feeling spicy <3"

Absolutely tripping over himself and spluttering about how he "can't control himself, he's on red now" as his grand excuse for the horrifically cruel act of leaving a 1-star review on Scott's couples therapy session.

/gripping his sword, pacing back and forth and talking about the Relationship Ranch: "You want me to take him out of business??"

"Someone paid me to kill you, you wanna pay me more and I'll look the other way?"

/flirts with Grian, gets a bunch of gifts off him, takes off running: "Ren's gonna be so proud of me!! :D" -> Buddy, Ren's been going through every stage of grief over you cheating on him

stands on a ledge and starts pep talking all the zombies

follows Bdubs inside after the pool party, quietly closes the door, then turns back and starts creeping up on him before taking a huge axe swing
