So I'm trying to get back into reading my current book (Truthwitch), & honestly the knowledge of one of the conflict sources & my utter distaste for Prince Merik is making it really hard to keep going.
When my beloathed "withheld information that is the only reason this plot conflict exists" happened I put the book down for, like, a month? And I said to myself "give it a few more chapters to blow over & see if things improve & it just goes back to being basic fantasy fair that was Fine." But I'm just sitting here looking at Merik's POV in the next chapter & seeing that it's what makes him fully converge into the main plot: thus making him completely unavoidable now...it's enough to make a bitch actually DNF the book now.

Tumblr has been showing targeted ads for "FTM binders" off Amazon. They look like this:
Do not buy these.
A binder is a piece of medical equipment. If you use one incorrectly, or use a poorly made one, you can really fuck up your ribs. This article from the Cleveland Clinic talks about how to bind safely.
A $14 binder is guaranteed not to be safe. There's a reason reputable companies charge more- sometimes a lot more. They have to carefully design binders so they don't crush your ribs or make you sick.
You know how everyone says Don't Bind With Duct Tape? Don't bind with Amazon binders.
The urge to make him painfully hard when we're out in public.
To rub his inner thighs near his crotch while we're sitting next to each other, brush against his nipples by accident, whisper the most disgusting things into his ear, to kiss his pretty neck a second too long. To see him crumble, see his pupils dilate, his pants getting too tight.
To make him a dumb and blushy mess for me until he's not even able to talk, just waiting patiently like a good boy until I finally take him home.
