Never looking at hands ever again, ugh, fingers should all explode. ANYWAYS: GET REDEEMED LOSER AU! @avisisisis keeps having epic, amazing ideas for my au, SO I FINALLY KNEW WHAT TO DRAW! Basic run down of the AU is this: Evil Mark (Wasp) trying to make Mark worse, while Mark tries making Wasp better. They both think that the other is the weakest version of themselves. They hate each other, they hate themselves, and cain instinct is set on truly homicidal levels of hostility. Everyone looks on in horror, confusion, plenty of concern, and slight, fleeting understanding.
EDIT, bonus song theme because I can: I am drowning. There is no sign of land. You are coming down with me. Hand in unlovable hand. And I hope you die. I hope we both die. (No Children by The Mountain Goats)

How has my ability to cope with the finale only gotten WORSE over time like it’s been 40 days and I am no closer to reaching even a semblance of normal life again I am spending even more time on tumblr spiraling in good omens theories than I did back in July it consumes my every waking thought and I can barely focus on Real Life because I’m just like How Can It Have Ended Like This anyone else relate or am I just backsliding even deeper into the Good Omens Pit of Depression

Leverage/The Librarians crossover where Ezekiel and Parker know each other, are good friends even (Parker is the only person Ezekiel worked jobs with before joining the Library here). Also, Eliot and Jake are twins, but Eliot was presumed dead and changed his name, so Jake thinks he is dead
That changes when Parker is hurt (nothing too bad, maybe a broken arm or something?) and she calls Ezekiel in to help work a job because she isn't capable at the moment, only for him to clock Eliot as Jake's presumed dead brother

hi im thinking about this again
Tumblr media
vylad was probably not given any break from torture so he must’ve been in a lot of pain
whenever gene got frustrated with the fact they were all stuck in the nether, he probably took it out on vylad without even acknowledging him as a person. just kinda using him as a punching bag.
vylad probably began to question if he was real, especially after laurance got out. so having Gene completely ignore him while torturing him definitely made him feel invisible
as time went on, gene most likely forgot vylad was in the dungeons so vylad was just left behind. forgotten.
he definitely suffers with derealization every now and then. their horrible sense of time doesn’t help.
but there’s no way he just went back to existing like how he did before he was imprisoned for centuries.
dude was messed up for sure
might make a longer post later on this… when im not sleepy

i see a lot of opinions around, about death, and why she didn't intervene in dream's imprisonment
and i think a lot of people have trouble reconciling the idea that she does care about him, with the fact that she didn't do anything?
so then you get the theories that she couldn't have saved him (as if burgess was ever a match for the endless, he only got dream because dream was still recovering from burning out 99% of his power in overture), or that she was stuck by the rules of the endless not interfering with each other (that's a whole other convoluted discussion topic)
but i feel like these theories all kinda. misread, who death is. or rather, they sort of assume she's a human being with the same mentality as a human, and not the literal personification of death
of course she cares about her brother. and of course she technically had the power to intervene. but think about her existence. think about the way in which she knows everyone, the life she's lived for billions of years, and the life she knows she'll live until she's the last consciousness left in the universe
she's an inherently passive entity, she has to be. because her entire purpose is to stand there for the end of every life in existence, often horrific and violent and unfair ones, and to tell them that's just the way of things. to ensure that that fate does indeed come to pass. she knows how everyone is going to die and she just has to keep talking to them like she doesn't
when she was younger, it was different. granted, she refused to help dream then too, because (at least according to dream) all the endless were incredibly prideful when they were young, and wouldn't even have tried to help each other. but also, we have her word that at one point her job got overwhelming. the fact that she had to stand by and watch so much tragedy, to ensure it happened, really got to her. and for a while, she stopped. one of the few times if not the only time she has ever made a strong decision in the face of fate - she stopped collecting souls. and that turned out much worse. in order to exist as herself, she had to find a way to not only be okay with who she is, but find meaning in it. the person who would get involved, who would stand up against unfairness, that person cannot be death of the endless
and think about death as a concept, for a sec, not just as a person. death is patient. death will come for everyone in time, but time is meaningless to it. i like this panel, from endless nights, for connecting that with death the person, because she is always there and always waiting (in this story she waits here for anywhere between 10 and 200 years, depending on how you look at it. and she explains in this story that time doesn't really work the same to her as it does to everyone else. time is her father, after all. she can wait. she will always wait.)
Tumblr media
even when she takes human form, like we see in high cost of living, she is the epitome of go with the flow. she just follows where the universe takes her, doesn't try to change anything, just lets her curiosity and love for humanity put her in whatever situation fate decided she should be. and fate (whether that's her brother, the fates, or something else entirely) does play some role in it, because her human form was created with $10.02 in her pocket, which is the exact amount of money she ended up needing to spend that day. and she trusts that she won't need more than that, no matter how many questions are thrown at her about it
which is not an inherently bad thing! because living in the moment means she is so much more alive than her siblings, it gives her the ability to offer so much more empathy towards the mortals she has to spend most of her time with, it makes her in many ways a wonderful person. she's just, not a person of action
death doesn't show she cares by stopping the bad things from happening to you. she shows she cares by being there for you after. by having the patience, despite her busy job, to sit and chat with every single person who's ever lived, and to comfort them in the best way she knows how
which is exactly what she did

look i know i may be a little (a lot) biased. but there are many many interactions between roy and jamie that cannot simply be explained by them being best buds. the ugly boy scene? so insane. jamie resting his hands right on roy’s hips when he teaches him to ride a bike?? absolutely wild. ROY LOOKING AT JAMIES LIPS NOT ONCE. NOT TWICE. BUT THREE TIMES. DURING THE JAMIE LOST HIS WINGS SCENE. roy talking about jamie?? all the time?? so much so that his like eight year old niece takes notice?? every single hug they have ever. HOW TIGHTLY ROY HUGS JAMIE. and who would i be if i didn’t mention THAT ROY KENT ALWAYS REMAINS. the poster being right next to keeleys AND on the same wall with other half naked women cannot be a coincidence. the fight in the season 3 finale?? gay as hell. the way roy’s shirt collar was pulled down? don’t get me started. anyway these guys are absolutely insane and so in love and i am sorry but i’m having so many thoughts rn.
these two have never been normal about each other and as you can see i have never not once been normal about them

Super/Fun Danny theory
I don't think Fun Danny and Super Danny are directly showing what Danny's ghost half is/obsession is, nor what danny would be like as a full human, what I DO think is that it shows a very interesting concept of how Danny views himself.
So obviously when Danny does separate into human and ghost as he goes through the ghost catcher his human self is lax, lazy, and a little selfish. His ghost self is high strung, putting pressure on himself to be a hero and on his "responsibility" to help.
In the flashbacks to moments before he gets his powers he doesn't really act the way Fun "human" Danny does. He doesn't act that way in the episode where Desiree changes his past either. He acts the way we see in the show normally, just without powers.
I don't think his ghost half was the side that had all the drive/passion and I don't think his more carefree side is strictly human.
What do I think the separation was? Danny's perception of who he is as a Ghost vs Human.
When he got his powers he had even more responsibility and pressure put on him. As a ghost he needs to fight other ghosts, keep amity safe, keeps ghosts safe from his parents/other ghost catchers, etc.
As a human he needs to keep up his grades, maybe his parents want him to go into a specific career, bullies? All normal kid stuff. Much less demanding than when he's Phantom.
I think Super Danny and Fun Danny is a result of how Danny views the two sides of himself. He knows he can goof off more as a human, let himself be more selfish and act more like a kid. He knows that as a ghost he almost never gets a break, especially as one of the few Good Ghosts willing to fight against the Bad Ghosts.
I also think it's impossible to separate Danny from his ghost side like that. As Phantom he's still Danny. He doesn't act any different. His ghost side is just Danny but dead, it's not a whole new personality or being.

Considering how Five relies on food the most to power his jumps, I'm guessing its safe to say that in the apocalypse he rarely teleported. And if he was planning on time traveling out of there he wouldn't waste his energy needlessly blinking. At worst he probably hadn't used his powers for years in which joining the Commission really was the only way to get back home. When he was alone in the apocalypse, aside from getting the numbers right he was probably worrying whether he can even use his powers anymore. The Handler would've held that fact over his head for a long time. And yes I'm thinking about the "you owe me" comment.
